• Maxim (9/5): - Líbila se nám skvělá dostupnost ubytování a jeho lokalita. Na ubytování jsme se pohodlně vešli ve 4 lidech. Od hostitelů jsme dostali typy na restaurace v okolí, na zprávy reagovali rychle. Při další návštěvě Říma bychom se zde rádi ubytovali znovu. Ocenili bychom více vybavení v kuchyni. V koupelně zase více háčků na ručníky a možnost zadělání okna v koupelně. Ale to jsou maličkosti, které dojem z ubytování nezkazí.

Tea bags & coffee (even for one portion for 2 people) would have been great, as they knew we were flying in direct from Australia. Had these been available I would have rated it 10.

Host disponibile e attento a dare buoni consigli. Il bagno è fruibile e pulito ma avrebbe bisogno di una sistemata. Alcune prese di corrente inutilizzabili. Per quanto si fa pagare bisognerebbe avere più cura nei dettagli.

The location was great for walking to all the historic sites and beautiful neighborhoods around it. Very comfortable apartment with all the amenities. I would recommend when staying in Rome. nothing

• Beridze (7/5): - Location The furniture and towels in the apartment were quite old, and the sofa was uncomfortable to sleep on. The kitchen has very limited utensils, and there is no teapot or any kind of kettle, so you can’t really make tea or coffee. The TV is so small that it barely counts as being there :) What was most unpleasant, however, was that after check-out we were contacted and told that a table — which we never touched at all — was found broken, and we were asked to explain this.

Lo único que yo pensaba q tenía vistas al coliseo y no el apartamento es interior. Pero el sitio si es muy bueno La limpieza estaba regular. Las camas y almohadas súper incómodas.

• Paula (8/5): - A localização é excelente. Você consegue ver o Coliseu logo ao sair do prédio. O apartamento é confortável, mas não oferece amenidades básicas. Nunca fiquei hospedado em uma acomodação em que não foi deixado nada de amenidades, nem chá, chaleira elétrica, café, açucar, óleo ou azeite. Não havia panos de prato. Caso queira fazer um chá é necessário ir ao mercado. Não havia sido deixado nada, não havia chá, café, açúcar, azeite, nada. Apesar de ter um fogão, seria necessário comprar um pacote de café inteiro ou de açúcar para fazer um simples café ou mesmo um chá, então a comodidade de se hospedar em um apartamento e poder fazer um café da manhã, não restou possível. Não havia panos de prato disponíveis, achamos dois escondidos, mas completamente mofados e impossíveis de serem usados. A sensação que tivemos foi que o locador estava fazendo um favor em nos deixar ficar no imóvel, não havia a mínima preocupação em que os hóspedes ficassem bem. A televisão, apesar de não ser um problema, também não funcionava. A limpeza, em geral, poderia ser bem melhor.

• Renata (8/5): - Lokalizacja i winda w budynku, bardzo wygodne łóżko w sypialni, dostępna kawiarka (kawę trzeba sobie kupić) i prawdziwe poszewki na pościel, a nie tylko luźne prześcieradła. Za tą cenę obiekt powinien być bez zarzutu. W bidecie odpadająca bateria, pozolknieta deska w toalecie, widoczne plamy na fugach, pod łóżkiem też widać trochę „kotów”. Właściciel nie straciłby dużo, gdyby udostępnił słoiczek kawy i kilka saszetek herbaty gościom - nie spotkałam się jeszcze z tym, żeby nie było to zapewnione w prywatnych kwaterach. Jak się okazało limitowany check in - do 23:30 może przysporzyć mnóstwo nerwów, szczególnie jeżeli masz lot popołudniu i będzie opóźniony jak nasz. Drugi raz nie zdecyduje się na rezerwację bez dostępu elektronicznego, szkoda nerwów.

• Manuel (10/5): Todo cerca, pero deben mejorar dentro del Apartamento - Todo muy cercano, buenos restaurantes, coliseo a pasos de la estancia, la seguridad del entorno muy buena y decente la multitud de turistas en el área. Deben tener en cuenta cuando la familia de 4 asistentes , tener en consideración mas toallas de cuerpo, manos, y pies que sean dobles por personas y que sean de mejor calidad , también las sabanas y mantas de mejor calidad, también colocar Blackout y cortinas en todas las ventanas. Despolvar más e higienizar más las paredes y muebles, por la factura que se paga deben estar mucho más limpios.

• Martina (9/5): - Ubytování je opravdu hned u Colossea, úžasná lokalita. Mohli jsme si dříve (než byl check in) dát na apartmán zavazadla. Celý apartmán čistě uklizený, k dispozici ručníky, sprchový gel, šampon, vybavená kuchyňka. Veškerá komunikace ohledně pobytu proběhla perfektně. Ocenila bych utěrku v kuchyni a více toaletního papíru. Večer nám byla trochu zima, tak by byla fajn možnost zatopit si nebo více dek.

It was just near the Colosseum and close to other sites and a lot of restaurants. The shutter of the bathroom did not close properly, so it lacked privacy. I would have liked to have an electric kettle in order to make some coffee.

• Naum (9/5): Great for a short stay next to Collosseum - Right next to the Colosseum, great if you’re there for a short trip and want to walk everywhere. AC in every room helps a lot, especially in Rome during summer. Comfortable beds and they let us store our bags with them on checkout day, which we appreciated. Slightly dated interior and no lounge area if you’re 4 people, only a dining area.

• Kiana (8/5): Incredible Colosseum location - Martina al Colosseo is in an unbeatable location just steps from the Colosseum—you can actually see it from the front door. While there’s no view from inside the apartment, the iconic landmark is just outside, making it perfect for an early morning Colosseum tour, which is why we chose it. The check-in process was a bit unclear. I was originally told check-in was no later than 16:00, but then received a WhatsApp message around 10:30 asking about my arrival. Thankfully, we were able to check in early and drop off our bags, but it would’ve been helpful to know that was an option in advance. The apartment itself is simple and has all the basics, including a kitchen—though there’s no coffee maker. You're really paying for the prime location rather than the apartment's features. I’d definitely consider staying again if proximity to the Colosseum is a priority.
• An (10/5): I would highly recommend to families or friends, perfect location and nice apartment. - Location is perfect. The host is very polite and very helpful. He let us to check in earlier so we could leave our bags and go around to visit Rome. The same was for the check out, he gave us the opportunity to leave the bag for half of the day. The apartment looks exactly as it is shown in the photos, a very nice apartment. The internet wasn't working well, the signal was weak.
• Pete (10/5): Magnificent apartment in a magnificent location - We arrived well in advance of our check in time and the host did everything possible to get us in very quickly. The location is fantastic as it’s only 100 meters from the Colosseum. The apartment was clean, secure and well appointed. There is an elevator for those who don’t like the beautiful staircase. There is a microwave, fridge freezer and four ring induction hob in the kitchen. The hob top kettle boiled within 90 seconds. One double bedroom and a very large and comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. There is air conditioning and great ventilation. The shower is easy to use too! With a multitude of restaurants, grocery stores and even a pharmacy all within 5minutes walk, there is everything you’ll need on hand. The Colosseo Metro station is one minute from the front door so getting around is easy. When I return to Rome, I will definitely be staying here again! There is a camera in the apartment focussed on the front door with a full explanation from the hosts. I was not sure it was necessary but it didn’t detract from the benefits of staying here. Also there is a school in the adjacent block but noise levels were very low. There is no shutter in the bathroom so at first glance it appears that privacy might be an issue, but we learned that the glass is treated so as to be one way only. It is not directly overlooked so not a problem anyway. Don’t let ANY of these points put you off though. The apartment and hosts are absolutely magnificent 🙏👍

The owner was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. He was also so kind to help me make a dinner reservation with a local restaurant. We would have liked more towels than what was provided. Also the air conditioner wasn’t functioning. It wasn’t too warm during our stay and we were out most of the day. The evenings were cool so it wasn’t an issue for us. Will definitely be an issue in the warmer months

It is on the 5th floor so I’m glad the elevator was In working condition. The air conditioning worked well which was nice after a long day out in the heat. The instructions to find the place and to get in could have been better. And when we were buzzed in at the gate I wish he would have given further instructions, i.e., turn right through the doorway, go to the 5th floor on elevator.

• Magdalena (9/5): Wonderful stay in Rome - Great location, unique tenement house, atmospheric apartment with quite comfortable bathroom and beds. Great contact with the staff at every stage of our stay. I would expect coffee mashine in the kitchen. Unfortunately it wasn't, but we could find coffee brewing vessel. Sometimes you can hear the sounds of neighbors from the staircase at night or garbage stuff at 6 a.m.. The acoustic is high. It may be disturbing for people with light sleep. It's such a small things. I would stay there again.

Considering the busy location, the apartment was quiet during the night so my sleep wasn't affected by city noises. The shower was excellent and the heating kicked in quickly as the temperature dropped in the evening (November trip), meaning the apartment was cosy. Some mold in the bathroom was unsightly.

Very clear and easy to follow and (even though we were late getting off flight) they were very patient and accommodating. Nothing comes to mind. Was not more that could have been asked.

• Cristina (10/5): Exceptional - It was one of the best housings we ever stayed in. The location is excellent, you exit the building and the Colosseum is immediately on the left. The furniture is lovely, antique but very well maintained. Sergio was extremely helpful, he let us leave our luggage before check in time, which we highly appreciated. It is really a pearl and if you are so lucky to find it available, DO NOT HESITATE. Everything was perfect.

• Gino (9/5): There is no city like Rome and this appartement is a great base to explore the city! - Location, location, location. Close to the metro, bus, bars and restaurants… and then of course, the fora/colosseum!! The appartement itself is surprisingly quiet (gives on an internal courtyard) and is serviced by the world’s slowest lift (to my kids greatest amusement). Effective heating meant that we felt snug. No extra beds as announced. Please update the description. A few more mugs would be nice… no other complaints!

As you step outside of the building, the Colosseum rises in all its glory .The apartment location is excellent, a step away from the subway and within walking distance from all attractions .The apartment is unique ,quaint and quite beautifully decorated ,clean, and has a newly decorated bathroom and continuously running hot water .Special thank you to Sergio ,for his warm welcome. We were late and he patiently waited for us . Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this incredible property; we definitely will be back in Rome, and Martina Al Colosseo will be our second home here. Thank you ,thank you.
• Gjoka (3/5): I would not return to this property! - i really liked the location, which was the only thing i liked about this property! the bedsheets and towels were clean the blankets were not clean and soo old the house looked clean but there was dust coming out from under the beds! the bathroom a nightmare, the hot water takes ages to come out as its very old i would say that beside the location everything else was terrible. the wireless was on and off all the time! it didn’t have a washing machine!
• Amber (10/5): Truely authentic residence within walking distance to the Colleseum - A truely authentic feel to the accomodation. Two big beds and an additional sofa that could fit a child or teenager. The heating was easy to operate and worked beautifully. Large kitchen that we didn’t use as there are ample food places within a 15 second walk from the doorstep. When you stand on the front step of the apartment complex you are literally 20 steps from the Colosseum. There are five locked doors/gates to go through in order to enter your accomodation which made you feel safe. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the premise was tidy and smelt nice. The bath is an original porcelain bath your grandparents would have had but we big enough to bath our two toddlers. the lift is small but the building is original so it makes sense why it’s little. Its not a negative, just something to be aware of. The accomodation is like an AirBnB so you need to call the owner to meet you there with the keys to get in.

• Claire (8/5): Roman holiday! - The apartment is in a great location right by Colosseum; 5 flights of stairs but there is a lift though not for the faint hearted. The apartment has all you need for a family of 4. Very Roman and authentic. We would recommend it. Nothing really. Its a bit dated decor wise and needs a bit of an upgrade but we enjoyed our stay and would go again. It was a bit noisy as I think a school was next door. We were only provided with 1 towel each for 4 nights stay and none were provided when we requested them. Not a big deal though as they dried easily and we reused them. All in all we were happy.
