Our room was spacious with a private, large bathroom. Free Wi fi. Breakfast was served by the owner in a nice dining room. Great choice of food, fresh fruit salad or fruit every morning Some rooms shared the bathroom . Our bathroom had lots of storage for toiletries but only 1 towel bar-no place to hang your wet towels, especially when they are not changed every day, no big deal. TV was very small with channels in Italian only. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. Lido was so relaxing after crowded Venice.

Les hôtes ont été disponibles et attentifs. Notre chambre a été confortable, conforme aux photos sur le site, avec salle d'eau privative. Le petit déjeuner est impeccable, copieux et diversifié.

• Stephanie (10/5): Wonderful B&B away from the main tourist area. - We loved our stay on Lido at this wonderful B&B. It is located on a nice quiet street a short walk from the water bus. Our host was excellent and served a very tasty breakfast each morning. The building itself is really interesting and our room was perfect. Good sized, great bathroom and good working a/c. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Lugnt läge och mysig trädgård med sittgrupp. Bra frukost och vi fick själva välja när vi ville ha den serverad. Enda trasslet var att enligt vår bokning ingick frukost men inte enligt hotellets, detta löste sig dock efter att vi varit i kontakt med Hotels.com (men det kändes lite olustigt).
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is an excellent hotel. The breakfast on the terrace alone recommends it but it also had everything I wanted. Easy walking distance to the transit boats to take me to Venice, but since it's located in Lido it's far away from the crowds. My room was clean, airy room with a bathroom. I didn't know what to expect and was bracing for shared bathroom. Then after six nights stay I left the hotel and walked to get the ferry to the airport. Just before the ferry the hotel owner came up on his bicycle. "Signora! Signora!" I had left behind my battery charger. Amazing.

Malgré 2 couvertures nous n'avions pas chaud. Sur 4 nuits, les serviettes n'ont pas été changées une seule fois, et séchaient mal avec l'humidité ambiante et le manque de chauffage.

• Uwe (6/5): Spacious Appartetement in the basement - Spacious appartement in basement of a villa. Full equipped kitchen with plates, cutlery etc. 2 large bedrooms. 1 kitchen/living room, 2 baths. Good working air condition. Friendly landlord. Appartement was very clean however the kitchen was not. We had to clean the fridge first before being able to use it. Same with some of the pots and plates. This was the only real negitive point. House is located in a quiet side street, not far from Lido boat stop. A Supermarket is in the same street. The Lido beach is 10 minutes to walk but it is very crowded. To go to other beaches you need to rent a bike (bike rental just a few houses away) or take a bus.

• Jean Philippe (6/5): Décéption - Idéalement situé (proche station Vaporetto). Nous avions loué l'appartement. il se trouve en sous sol, très humide, il y a une odeur permanente d'humidité (alors que nous y étions en août avec 33°C!) et les armoires sont imprégnées de cette odeur tenace (n'y entreposez pas vos vêtements). Les deux douches sont extrêmement sales, il y a de la moisissure partout! C'est dommage, car il manquerait juste l'installation d'une VMC performante et de l'huile de coude pour nettoyer correctement cet appartement. La bonne notation de cet établissement cache des surprises, et ne doit être due que grâce à la partie "chambre: Bed and Breakfast" (enfin, j'imagine car je ne les ai pas visitées).
• Verified traveler (10/5): Dans une rue tranquille, excellent accueil - Un séjour très calme dans un bâtiment superbe. La rue est très tranquille avec de très belles maisons et la villa se trouve à quelques minute à pied de l'arrivée des vaporetti ou de la plage ou des restaurants et bars du Lido.

• Tony (10/5): The perfect location! - A fantastic place to stay! I was welcomed warmly and my room was very comfortable. Staying on the island of Lido was a good idea. The ferry ride takes 15 minutes to the heart of Venice, yet Lido has a character of its own and has a lovely swimming beach. Plenty of good eating places there too. Clear instructions on how to get to Lido from the station would help a newcomer like me, enormously.

• SEBASTIEN (4/5): Globalement décu - J'ai loué l’appartement avec mes parents âgés pour 5 nuits en mai. Les environs sont vraiment bien, l’embarcadère est proche et la place st marc à 20 mn en vaporetto. Petit supermarché pratique à coté de la villa. Le Lido est un endroit très agréable. Par contre très grosse déception sur l’hôtel, l'appartement est au sous-sol de l’établissement, il vaut mieux le savoir... Propreté des chambres et de la cuisine très médiocre, le ménage n'est pas fait tous les jours, il faut demander... Vous êtes isolés des autres clients dans des chambres sombres. Peu de conseil de la part des propriétaires qui semblent un peu dépassés. Si l'hôtel a une note si élevé, je suppose que c'est grâce aux chambres mais surement pas a l'appartement, à éviter ! Le clou du séjour : la propriétaire m'a demandé 36 euros de taxes de séjour alors que c’était indiqué 20 euros sur le site, avec un échange tendu en prime !

• Karin (8/5): Kommen sicher wieder - Einfache, zweckmässig eingerichtete Zimmer, gross genug für drei. Ordentliches Bad. Sehr gutes frisches Frühstück - keine einzelverpackten Kuchen. Nach dem Trubel in Venedig genossen wir die Beschaulichkeit obwohl dort in den Cafes und Restaurants einiges los war. Das Hotel war 5 Minuten zu Fuss von der Vaporettostation entfernt. Das Auto durften wir im Garten parken, was super war, da rundherum nur Kurzparkzone war.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Traditional B & B in a Beautiful Villa - In some ways more like an Airbnb than a hotel. Hotel is family run and makes up part of a beautiful villa. I stayed in the loft room which has wonderful views and is very spacious, but can only be accessed via steep stairs. My friends and I were made to feel very welcome. We were also provided an excellent breakfast to start the day.

• Cat (8/5): Nice Guest house close to the beach! - This guest house is in the Lido - south of Venice. It is a seaside resort and much quieter than staying in the heart of Venice in September, especially. The Villa is a beautiful house with similar villas all along the tree lined streets. The owner of the villa is a nice man, very businesslike, but that's ok. We got along just fine. The breakfast provided was wonderful. The room was the biggest room we had on our trip - loads of room to move around! The view from our room overlooked a lovely canal.
• Raymond (8/5): Pleasant B&B - A very enjoyable stay,with a gracious host.The building is a beautiful older house,with decent-size rooms,in a quiet neighborhood,just 2 blocks from the restaurant strip..The breakfast was very good,with tasty croissants,and the usual(Italian)meats and cheese.Patricia was nice enough to offer to make us eggs as well,which was nice.Her English is very limited,so don't expect much tourist info,unless you speak Italian.Overall,a nice choice.

• Nathan (8/5): Lovely Little Bed and Breakfast - Lovely hotel. We were very late (between 10:30 and 11pm) coming, so it took a while to be let in even though we emailed ahead and they knew the time to expect us. Other than that, it was really good. The breakfasts were fantastic, the rooms were clean and mostly comfortable (our bed was made out of two single beds pushed together, so the crack down the middle was unfortunate, but not a big deal). It was very convenient to get to the main part of Venice by taking the water bus (we got a 3 day pass for the 3 days we were there). We would definitely recommend this place!

We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. It was a nice little bedroom with an attached toilet and shower, and a small little room with a sofa. It was an attic apartment with some great natural lighting.
• Mick, Michele, (10/5): Perfect in every way.. - We booked in for a week and immediately on arrival were made to feel extremely welcome by Giorgio, Patricia and Jennifer and of course Oliver the family dog. Everything about our stay was perfect. We would just like to say a massive thank you to Giorgio, Patricia and Jennifer for looking after us and allowing us the freedom to come and go at our leisure. • John H. (8/5): Great place - but a few issues - This is a great place to stay when visiting Venice. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the Lido Vaporetto stop - this is very convenient, as the no. 2 gets you relatively swiftly to the Lido from Ferrovia or Piazza Roma. As its the last stop, you don't have to worry about getting the luggage off as everyone is getting off! Lovely views from the Lido in the evening across the Lagoon and convenient Vaporetto connections to lots of places in the Lagoon. Very clean apartment, although a little dingy (in the basement). Very friendly host who fixed the cooker swiftly when it malfunctioned during our stay. Overall, I would recommend it.
