Guest Reviews
- Rivas (10/5): - The property was clean and so cool! It has a very old antique feel to it and is so beautiful and charming. It’s right in the middle of centro storico and only a 5 minute walk from Dante metro station so it was super easy to get around Napoli on a budget. Also the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend! The only thing is that the shower itself is very small, but that’s to be expected in European cities!
- Lillie (10/5): -
- Helena (10/5): Living in Napoli with style - The location is excellent and the apartment is amazing, we absolutely loved the terrace!! Everything was perfect
- Richard (8/5): -
- Valérie (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (7/5): Would stay again - The extra tea coffee breakfast community area Shower leaked
Bit noisy
Was a lot of stairs with luggage
- Lisa (10/5): Affordable and attractive traditional B&B in a lively piazza - Ideal location, close to the city centre but in a charming piazza with cafes and bars (with live music in the afternoon and early evening) and the remnants of an old Roman wall. The rooms have rustic ceiling beams and clay-tiled floors and the shared spaces - living and dining area, kitchen, and terrace - are large and attractively decorated and welcoming. Guests make their own breakfast: granola, yogurt, fresh pastries, espresso, etc. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
- Joan-Pau (9/5): great location, reasonably priced, helpful people - Location, communication, space, helpfulness Shower tight
- Iker (10/5): - Location, free coffee, terrace, decoration, cleanliness, very nice personnel. Rooms are extremely well insulated from outside noise Nothing
- Josephine (10/5): Perfect accommodation for a couple for short or longer stays. Highly recommended. - This is a fantastic B&B in a character building, well located in Piazza Bellini and close to everything on offer in the historical centre, including many bars and restaurants. We were also able to walk to museums and galleries. Communication with hosts was helpful including providing directions to the property from the central station. Nothing to mention
- Pia (10/5): Hervorragende Unterkunft, anfangs ewas schwierig zu finden😂 - Beste Lage, tolle Unterkunft Gibt nichts zu beanstanden! War perfekt 🤩
- ash (10/5): - perfect location walls quite thin could hear the next room
- Michael (8/5): Top, gerne wieder - Feine Adresse
- M Sol (7/5): - No
- Colin (10/5): Prefect location in the historic enter of Naples no shortage of bars and restaurants - It was warm, clean, great location and the welcome friendly and genuine. All was good
- Curtis (6/5): If you are looking for pleasant affordable accommodation in buzzing location, this is for you! - The accommodation was good value for money and the person who welcomed me was friendly. I stayed on a Friday night and there was a lot of noise in the square under my window until 4:00am. I had a heavy suitcase and the accommodation was on the second floor up two flights of stairs. The accommodation is a converted apartment, with an entrance between two restaurants. I arrived after dark and please be aware it was not easy to find with the streets full of people and noise.
- Luigi (6/5): Charming great location but a bit noisy - Everything was great the bathroom is a bit dated but ok.
Spectacular location. The host is lovely and everything was charming.
The only negative point is that what is described as rear garden is in fact a space open to the public which art exhibitions and probably the rear of a bar where they play loud music till late. Friday evening was till 1:40, Saturday till 1:00, Sunday till 12:30 and Monday more or less the same. The windows are good and there are heavy shutters but the bass sounds are still audible and kept us awake.
Is certainly not the fault of the host and I guess is the price to pay to be so central in Naples. See above
- Mercedes (9/5): Unforgetable place for the beauty, location and great staffh - The whole place is a piece of art, lliterary. For example the living room has an arch from an old palace... Every room is filled with good taste. My room was gorgeous with a big window facing the beautiful Bellini square. Great location. Kitchen with useful appliances and treats. The terrace appreciated. Staff very helpful and kind. I'll be back, and I'll make sure my friends visiting Naples stay there as well.

- PEDRO (10/5): Comodidad, atención y limpieza. - Perfecto. Limpio, cómodo, agradable y bien situado. Personal atento, dispuesto y accesible.
- Annunziata (10/5): - Ci siamo trovati benissimo.
- Miessner (8/5): -
- Anke (9/5): Locatie is top! Midden in historisch centrum.
Camera pulita letti comodi
- Elizabeth & Allen (10/5): Great room and best location - The location was sensational for a female solo traveller as Piazza Bellini is lively until late. Apartment looked over the piazza but with great windows that blocked out the sound. Great to have a little fridge in the room and access to the kitchen. Room was very spacious and clean. Communal areas were spacious and lovely.
A tusban lévő alacsonyabb víznyomás a hosszú női haj megmosását nehezebbé tette.
- Helen (9/5): -
- Katarzyna (10/5): Na pewno wrócę i będę polecać znajomym - Bardzo ładne, ciekawie urządzone mieszkanie, w świetnej lokalizacji, mimo gwarnej okolicy, po zamknięciu okien i okiennic nic nie słychać. Super przestrzeń wspólna: salon, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia i taras. Sprzątanie na życzenie. Kawa i herbata i drobne produkty spożywcze dostępne, możliwość przechowania bagażu po wymeldowaniu. Nie były jasno opisane warunki późnego zameldowania i kosztowało mnie to trochę stresu. I trudne otwieranie głównego wejścia, magnetyczną kapsułka.
- Lisa (9/5): A good option for exploring Naples - Great location walkable to the heart of Naples.
The shared areas between several apartments was a good bonus including a small terrace which was nice to have a morning coffee. We were advised about the stairs but they were still a challenge after big walking days.
- Leonardo (8/5): - Camera pulita e staff cordiale.
- Davide (9/5): - posizione e camera molto accogliente
- Götz (10/5): Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. - Die Lage ist topp. Mitten in der Altstadt!
Die Unterkunft bietet so viele Annehmlichkeiten:
Geräumiges Zimmer. Großer Gemeinschaftsraum und Küche mit allem, was man braucht.
Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung.
- Ginger (7/5): Good location but not very welcoming - The location is great. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The old fashioned keys are difficult to deal with. Had to watch a tutorial to learn how to use it, still had problems. The bathroom is tiny, and 2 flights of steps are steep. Not recommended for seniors or people with heavy luggage. The place just didn't feel very happy.
- Kimberley (8/5): Great location for the activities we wanted to do and see in Napoli - The location, the view, very sound proof
- Carlos (10/5): -
- Gayla (3/5): Lovely decor- bad location for travelling from Naples. Shared with other guests apart from room - It’s decor was really great and stylish No proper directions given when I booked and there are three b n bs in the same square. Door numbers very small and even locals couldn’t find it( was squashed between some restaurants. Asked if I wanted room cleaned and I said no as was only there four days. Asked for towel changing she said you have one towel. Didn’t see staff again but I left dirty towel outside my door and didn’t get a new one? Had to use same towel for four days.. only got that large one and two hand towels!
Very far from port and ferry’s- my fault as when I looked on map seemed much closer. NO maps to show location of property and what part you were in.. nothing not even anything in Italian. No helpful tips, no taxi numbers, nothing about local area. No first aid box.
Took days to get my bearings and if the property owners had made an appearance I would have asked them to book a taxi to airport. As it was I had to get to station on the nearest underground which was fairly close but then the trains got cancelled which happens a lot and relied on a local to take me to another station very far away. Nothing to do with property but I feel that location of you want to travel from Naples is very bad. It’s around about 25 mins walk to the port and station and in the heat it’s too much.
Breakfast basic- two cereals and cake.. nice cereal. Only herbal tea and coffee. No black tea for English visitors.
Aircon ok but made a lot of whirring noises in the night and kept me awake.
No mention of the main area being shared with others!! That is a huge issue if you don’t want to share the place.
- Nina-Alexa (10/5): - Top-Lage, bei geschlossem Fenster sehr ruhig, bequemes Bett großzügiges Zimmer. Flexibilität des Gastgebers
Sehr empfehlenswert!
- Clara (8/5): - The apartment and location was beautiful and full of life. The host even helped me fish up my lost swimsuit — legends!
- Gavin (8/5): Very good -
- Matthias (10/5): Cozy place, ideally located to explore the city - The location is brilliant. The place is cozy and well looked after. Angela is an absolute star 🌟 There was a technical issue in the bathroom at first, but she got a contractor in on the next working day (I wish I had that superpower)
to fix the problem. Overall we had a great time.
- Vasja (10/5): Exceptionally comfortable accommodation in a great location. - Very nice flat with apartments. Flat also has a big terrace, a kitchen, and a living room. The owner is very friendly. The location is near the Archaeological museum (10 minutes walk) and Dante market, where is metro lines L1 and L2 are also near.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (9/5): In the thick of things - First, the location was fantastic--- on a wonderful piazza with cafes and a lively scene, including music in the evenings, as well as close to many attractions. Despite being in the middle of an active area, my room was quiet. The AC was very welcome, as was the well equipped kitchen (where self-serve breakfast was available) and attached plant-filled outdoor terrace. Common areas were comfy. Finally, check in was easy and welcoming. While the bathroom was clean and had all one needs, the tub and shower could use better maintenance. And for a B&B, it was a tad lonesome--- Angela was welcoming on check-in and promptly helpful via WhatsApp (in Italian), but I never saw her again, or other staff. With no scheduled breakfast, chance to interact with other guests was limited.
- Bridget (7/5): Good central location, needs clearer directions and better breakfast. - Central location, good sized room, terrace for breakfast and pleasantly decorated. It was really hard to find. Just made it before midnight when late check in would have ended, having walked around in circles for an hour. Very stressful. Had to pay €15 for late check in. Only got email with google maps reference after 11pm when already panicking about having nowhere to sleep in Naples. Not clear about breakfast availability. It was a pretty meagre help yourself offering. A lot of steeet noise til midnight at weekends. Had to sleep with ear plugs!! Minimal staffing.
- Botond (10/5): Stay in the heart of the city and feel Naples just in front of your window - Wow! It was my first time in Naples and picked this place by luck... And it was a huge luck and I am sure, the best choice. Located on a lively square with a lot of cafes, and easy to reach by foot. The host was really helpful for checking in, and the flat was done with a cozy design. Had the room looking on the square which was amazing for me (if you prefer total silence, choose a room facing the courtyard). Nice coffee/cake/bites and a great little breakfast prepared in the common kitchen and the room's minibar. Nice idea. Whenever I return, I cross my fingers that this place is available:)
- Gemma (9/5): Excellent - Was a lovely B&B, beds were very comfortable, location was great. Great kitchen area with cereals, cake and coffee with a lovely terrace to enjoy too.
- Mark (8/5): The hostess was fantastic, she set up a cab to the airport for 6am. Made sure we were comfortable! - Great location ! Places right outside to eat in Piazza Bellini , short walk to national museum and a Michelin star pizzeria which was fantastic! You have to Climb three flights of stairs , wouldn’t want super heavy luggage.
- Carmen (8/5): Very good - This apartment was in a fabulous location, right in a lively piazza but the rooms were soundproof enough to not hear any noise when wanting to turn in for the night. They were very accomodating when I was running late due to train delays and crazy traffic. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was adorable, the bathroom super clean also. The shared space was lovely and the terrace was fantastic to get some work done in the afternoons. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Napoli
- John (10/5): Clean, ideal location ☺️ - Ideal location, great communication with the host .
Large room with a balcony, with old building charm ,bit quirky. Shared kitchen and dining space ,with a large outdoor, terrace, all of which we had to ourselves during our stay . Complimentary coffee ,tea and I might of had a piece of cake or 2 or maybe 3. All in all a very pleasant stay . Nothing that I can think of
- Peter (9/5): Perfect location in Napoli for a visit - Perfect location in thriving square
But small trade off for noise from bars
Big spacious accommodation
- Panagiotis (7/5): Clean and value for money room but in noisy area - I liked the cleanliness , the options for breakfast , the central location and the price. The lady that owns the place is very friendly. There are some difficulties that future travellers should be aware of. The location is a bit tricky. From the one hand it is as I said in the heart of historical center but piazza Bellini is literally full of people 24/07. There is constant noise , music , random sounds and people shouting. Yes the noise cancellation is good but it becomes too much after a couple of nights. I wouldn’t recommended for light sleepers and people travelling for work. Second it is not a hotel it is basically I big house with 4 rooms which means that most of the time there is nobody there. The first night it was very warm and there was no one to ask on how to turn it off. Additionally they did not reply to my message.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - We spent three nights here and it was lovely. It's a big, clean, warm and cosy apartment (turned into a hotel) with high ceilings, nice decor and a beautiful terrace. The location is central and safe, just a few streets away from Spaccanapoli, the metro, and bus stops.
It is very quiet and the only noise you will hear is that coming from the square if you open the bedroom window. The bedroom was a good size and the glazed windows and shutters ensured that we got a good night's sleep.
Although breakfast is not served, you have free use of the kitchen which is fully equipped. Check-in and check-out were very smooth.
- Karline (9/5): Superb - Beautiful room with a big window overlooking the square.
- Dmitry (7/5): Overall the room is good enough for one person. - Great location. Rather spacious room. Shutters. The door of the closet was stuck, and I put my clothes on the couch. The small table holds refrigerator, so I had to eat on a bedside table. Sunday till 2 am and Tuesday till midnight, the noise from the outside was deafening. You need earbuds to sleep, even after closing the windows and shutters.
- Katja (7/5): Very beautiful apartment for Italian speaking guests - The accomandation is amazing and stylish. The rooms are large and beautifully furnished. There are a shared living room, kitchen and big balcony. It's located at place with nice restaurants. Unfortunately, communication with the host was very poor. Definitely suitable for Italians, but not so much for foreigners.
- Kevin (8/5): Well worth it - A perfect location. A very clean room. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in n/a
- Mervinder (9/5): Superb - Great location, close to the metro and walking distance to most tourist spots. Kinda annoying to go through opening the door to the building, but that's a minor pickle. Fee for checking in past 9pm
- Ievas. (10/5): Perfect stay in Napoli - Apartment was nicely decorated, located in historical building, room was spacious with beautiful, functional furniture. Stayed here one week so I got a chance to get to know this area very well. Great location - Piazza Bellini is close to museums, Metro station. A walk distance to Spanish quarters and near to Via Toledo. Surrounded by restaurants, coffees and bars. What its worth to remember - Piazza Bellini is a party square, so if you are not a party person, keeping window open might be challenging, but closed window isolate sound very good. There is live music and parties every night. In opposite side of the square there is a nice, small coffee (Caffè dell'Epoca), where I got my Italian breakfast each morning - coffee and cornetti (croissants), they are amazing there. Next to caffe in Via Port Alba the is Antica Pizzeria Port’Alba, where you can find amazing Pizzas. They state that their pizza place is open since year 1738. I can't confirm on that, but pizza I tried there was amazing. As I also tried famous Napoli L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele pizza, I can confirm that this one was much, much better!
- Maria (9/5): A rather nice apartment, beautifully decorated with a very good location. We really enjoy our staying -
- Nimrod (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Location. Stylish. Authentic.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Fun, interesting, will definitely be back - Perfect location, very friendly and helpful host. Recommended a brilliant restaurant and helped us get a taxi to the airport. Nothing
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Sorrento. There is a bit of stairs to climb, especially if you have a lot of luggage.
- Veaceslav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hc (8/5): Very good - Nice room and very good location + the shared facilities incl. balacony was good The self-service breakfast did miss som basics as fresh bread and milk - the rest was fine
- Paul (9/5): Superb - The B&B was in a square with a range of restaurants and bars. The room was surprisingly quiet!
- Christallo (9/5): Superb - Great location! Right near the station (Dante) and lots of restaurants/bars.
Really quiet inside the room despite being next to bellini square.
Large shared lounge/kitchen/terrace.
- Frédéric (10/5): One of the best in Napoli ! - One of the best place on a 1000km trip by bike. The place by itself, the location.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Traci (5/5): Passable - The kitchen was great, coffee each morning and breakfast available. Good size room and host was thorough with communication. The room was in a very popular plaza location of cafes and restaurants and our first night there was a very loud street party that lasted through to the morning. There was very little sound proofing, so we got very little sleep. The bed and pillows were less than average, the air conditioner struggled, so overall our stay was a little uncomfortable. If we were younger, we probably wouldn’t have minded.
- Aspurce (8/5): Very good - The authentic structure of the room was beautiful. the room is big and spacious. It was good to have a bathtub in the bathroom. It was good to have snacks available. Common areas were enough to spend time. There were mosquitoes in the room. We spent a lot of time killing them before going to bed at night. Mosquito nets need to be installed on the windows. The minibar was working very loudly.
- Daryl (10/5): Exceptional - We were greeted by Angela as we arrived. She explained the facilities and answered all of our questions. We had full use of a well-appointed kitchen. The shared lounge dining area was wonderful, and the terrace was a lovely place in the morning for breakfast. We had a small fridge in our room. A private ensuite and the air conditioning were great. Our room overlooked the vibrant cafe life of Piazza Bellini and was bathed with the afternoon sun. Leaving the window open allowed the sound of the musicians and cafes in the piazza below to filter into our room, and yet the double glazed windows blocked both the heat and the sound out fully. We loved the location, close to Dante station, a short 25-minute walk to the port, and close to so many of Naples attractions. We were spoilt for choice when it came to cafes, restaurants, and bars. We will be back for sure if we are ever in Naples again.
- Raphael (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place in the heart of Napoli. It was our best choice to have a place to get some rest after the day.
- Monica (9/5): Superb - It was clean, well located, nicely decorated. It really matched what I expected when I made my reservation. It was all perfect and I super recommend this place to who wants to spend a few days in Naples to wander around the historical center. I'm definitely keeping the address for next time I visit the city! Nothing! No bad points!
- Marlene (10/5): 100% recommend - Everything esp the location and the view from the room Nothing
- Baljeet (7/5): Good - It was a very big apartment, with a nice shared dining living room area, my room was a triple room so I liked that it was large but of course, I paid for that Few points that could really improve the property.1. No full length mirror in the room or anywhere else in the property - girls need a full length mirror!
2. I specifically booked this hotel for a balcony somewhere I could chill in the evening but it was in fact a Juliette balcony overlooking the backs of other apartments. A.more accurate description would have been useful to make an informed decision.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Eileen (8/5): Very good -
- Micky (8/5): Right in the hustle and bustle of Naples, but a quiet haven once inside the B&B Bellini. - Met on arrival, and everything fully explained. The large airy lounge, kitchen, and terrace were a nice surprise. The location is in a piazza, so lots of good bars and restaurants are on the doorstep. We had a little trouble finding it, as the taxi dropped us off at a hotel down the road with a similar name. But all good once we located it. There isn't a lift, so you need to be fit, or pack less! :-)
- Linda (10/5): Great location, exceptional experience and a wonderful Host - Lovely rooms with great common areas included a kitchen area, living room and terrace. All were tastefully decorated and well maintained. It is located in Piazza Bellini perfectly located near great restaurants and within walking distance of several major sights. Angela met us when we arrived and made sure our visit was exceptional. We loved this property and will definitely return. Thank you Angela for a great visit. Loved it!
- Damian (8/5): Very good - It's a great place to wander around the old small streets. Great location and easy check-in. Nice balcony and big room!
- Lars (8/5): Very good - Unfortunately there was no brekfast
- Julia (9/5): Would definitely recommend to others and stay there again - Beautiful old building. Large comfortable room. Artistically designed interiors. Large outdoor terrace. Excellent shared kitchen facilities with free cake and nibbles. Fantastic location on the Piazza. Nothing
