• G8771RHsharong (2/5): Immensely rude and ill treating hosts. PLEASE AVOID. - I am a female solo traveler in my twenties. I’ve been to 15 countries in the last 2 years, stayed in a variety of b&b’s and hotels, but this was HANDS DOWN MY WORST EXPERIENCE. 1. I reached Fiorentini one hour prior to check-in, and rang the doorbell hoping to store my luggage until check in time. A friend who speaks Italian was with me, who came to drop me at this stay and help me as it was my FIRST TIME in Naples. After several tries at the doorbell, I thought I’ll call them instead. Used my local friend’s phone as I had no coverage (this is located on the 7th floor, and I didn’t have Italian sim). The host lifted on the “eleventh” try, and BEGAN YELLING AT ME. This was because I didn’t pick up their calls the previous day. I had lost that phone and the number. But he wouldn’t let me explain and kept raising his voice at me. I handed over the phone to my friend. 2. Then to my friend he said “I see two people at the door, but the booking is for one. I WILL CALL THE POLICE if you go through the door”. It took us both a lot of attempts to convince him that I am the only person staying and that my friend is to leave immediately. THIS IS THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE you can expect here. The kind where they treat you like robbers and thieves, and THREATEN to call the police on their “GUESTS”, PURELY BASED on presumptions. It was my first visit to Italy, and I felt too intimidated, shook and scared. I will never return to Naples because of this experience.

The Location is very central with a lot of important points within walking distance. The host took great care of us and any question was answered perfectly. Recommend this 100%

• Verified traveler (10/5): A sparkle in Naples - The receptionist did everything she could to accomodate us and our daughter who is gluten free. The room was beautifully cleaned. I would highly recommend this place and the location.
• Hui (10/5): - Overall a pleasant stay. We stayed the New Year’s Eve, saw a bit of fireworks from the room which was not expected. Location was good. Staff was nice, service was good.
• barry (10/5): Great apartment - Apartment was comfortable and very clean . Was less than 10 minute walk to old Naples district. Welcoming staff most friendly and helpful. I would recommend this apartment to my best of friends.
• Stemurphy (10/5): Well worth a visit - Arrived at night to a happy welcome and to be shown our room. Spotlessly clean and well appointed room. Supplied with coffee maker and even slippers. I've been big hotels and not had that compliment. Although the pictures don't show it we had a balcony with a view of the sea and Vesuvius. The Residence is so central to everything 2 metro stations with in 5 mins walk, the harbour 10 - 15 mins for fast ferries to Capri etc. The Galleria Umberto l and the Royal Palace of Naples about the same distance away. Considering the price and the location we were very impressed. It is an easy review to write because this was a good little find in a big city. Don't judge this place by the front door judge it once you are inside and you won't be disappointed.
• hannah00001 (2/5): Disaster and ignorant - To start off, I got a confirmation email stating that I needed to give a ETA for my check in, I answered I was not sure due to the flights and how long it was from the airport. Upon landing in Naples around 9:30-10:00pm I emailed the ‘hotel’ stating that I would be there in less than half an hour. When we arrived, the door was locked. We would not have been able to get in if it weren’t for other residents. The reception was on the top floor with nobody to greet us even though it was stated as ‘24hr’ reception. The lady who greeted us was horrendously rude saying it was too late to check in and that she had been in bed and that I had not emailed her giving her my ETA. At this point we were stressing out due to having nowhere to sleep. Eventually, she let us in and gave us a room key after a lot of bother and stress with many sly comments about the late arrival. The room was okay, I asked for two single beds and got a king size bed; this being said, was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast, everything was warm. There was no real selection. The lady from the night before catered our breakfast. On checking out, she once again made many sly comments about not checking in late to anywhere else because they won’t let us in. She also said the only reason she let us stay in the room WE HAD PAID FOR AND RESERVED was because it was dangerous to sleep outside for two young girls. We also asked her for directions to the next hotel we were staying in, she merely laughed, rolled her eyes and said something along the lines of ‘do you know anything?’ Upon checking out, she then informed us that it was a B&B, and that she had to be up early that morning to cater for the breakfast. Absolute joke. Not to mention the keys for the main entrance to the door and reception to the rooms took a lot of work and found very tough to open.

• Antonella (10/5): Albergo molto bello in centro a Napoli - Albergo molto bello in centro di Napoli. Comodo a piazza Del Plebiscito, al maschio Angioino e a tutti i mezzi pubblici. La sua posizione ti permette di girare tutto il centro a piedi. Molto pulito ed accogliente! Il proprietario e la ragazza sono delle persone molto gentili e disponibili. Esperienza da ripetere sicuramente. La camera é dotata di tutti i confort, aria condizionata, frigo, phon e TV. Bagno molto pulito con cambio di biancheria giornaliero. La colazione é abbondante e, naturalmente, non mancano le sfogliatelle napoletane. Lo consiglio a tutti.
• TravelWiseInComfort (8/5): Convenient Location & Comfortable Accomodation. - Provided lots of information before arrival on local transportation options getting to property from airport/cruise terminal. Good size room with ample closet space. Good WIFI and shower water pressure. We had Room “A” facing busy street Corso Umberto and slept well with noise well filtered out by 2 sets of balcony doors. Air Con works well. Although it was end of April, Air Con was needed for comfort as we Canucks prefer cold temperatures like polar bears do. The lady who checked us in, Latalia (hope spelling is right), is friendly and helpful. She also prepares complimentary breakfast and makes a good espresso. Property is in a safe and convenient location, within a 15-minute walking radius is the famous pizza place -Da Michele, Piazza Plesbicito, Scaturchio Pasticeria in Spaccanapoli District (for Baba al Rhum and Sfogliatelle), Duomo Galleria, Via Toledo etc. No need to take local bus or subway, which in my opinion is high risk for getting pick-pocketed. This is more like a B&B with own private bathroom instead of a conventional hotel offering good value, comfort and convenience in a "safe" location. Also note that Fiorentini Residence is on the 7th floor of a commercial building with 24/7 elevator. We would definitely return to Fiorentini Residence next time to Naples.

El desayuno por la mañana es variado, sin más. El servicio muy atento y amable. Un lugar ideal si vienes a Nápoles por la ciudad y quieres un sitio barato y bueno para pasar la noche. A great place to sleep if you come to Nápoles yo visit the city. This hotel is well ubicated , it's in the center and you have almost everything at your reach. The service is very kind, til the moment are all good thoughts about them. The room for two is comfortable and big enough if you've come here to visit the city and not stay in the bed. The breakfast could have more variety, nothing else to say. My congrats! I'm very satisfied!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful hotel, friendly owners - Easily walkable from the train station and to all places in historic Naples and the waterfront. The staff were particularly friendly and wonderful with the elderly man who checked us in being extremely welcoming. They shared all the best spots to visit and gave us a map and were interested in making our stay perfect. They spoke Italian and were proficient in English as well. I would highly recommend this place as it was excellent and affordable for my stay in Napoli.
• 663polinak (10/5): Amazing B&B in the centre of Napoli. - I stayed with my friends in the Fiorentini Residence for 3 nights. Very well located, the view from the balcony is amazing. Only 5 min walk from the port, and 4-5 min from the shopping street. Very safe. Breakfast is super nice, with a choice, and it is served in the room at the time that we required. Staff were very helpful to suggest some places in the city, ordering taxi and were there, when we need them. Strongly suggest this place for your stay in Napoli.
• F2966ZYantoniob (10/5): Luxury B&B for an affordable price. - We spent few days in the Fiorentini Residence, which is situated on the 7th floor of a building 2 mins away from the metro station and 10 mins away from the Napoli's dog. Also, it is based in middle of all the most important sights of the city. Mr Tardi, the host gave us all the information and help that we needed in order to have a good walk around the city. The B&B provides of a delicious breakfast every morning at the time that guests has established, furthermore we had a nice little balcony facing the sea and the Vesuvio vulcano at the same time. It was a nice staying at the residence, I strongly recommend it to everybody !!
• Colin (8/5): Central Residence - The Fiorentini Residence was situated well in the centre of most things, it was an easy to walk to the metro which enabled you to get to most places of interest.
• Claire (6/5): OK but disappointing - This is not a hotel as I would expect. It was more like a B & B. The room was basic and rather small - pictures are quite deceiving! The view was not of the volcano and/or the bay of Naples as described. There was no 24 hour manned reception. Having said that the lady that looked after the rooms was kind and helpful. This place is OK as somewhere cheap to sleep, but I would not recommend it for families.

• Shyamtravelling (2/5): Nightmare of a situation - Neither a bed not a breakfast - Bait and switch - Worst experience ever - it was a clear bait and switch. We landed in an unknown city with a conference the next day. We were told first by the lady at the 'B&B' that our room was not available due to a noise problem and told us we were being transferred to another B&B and even showed it on booking.com to assure us. We were bundled in a cab and taken to the other place. The guy who took us did not know for sure where place was and we were on the road for about and hour and a half... and surprise - it was not the B&B promised when we finally found it. It was an apartment in an old building far away from the nearest metro (the first reason why we booked this place). The bedroom did not have air conditioning only the living room had it. When we complained to the guy running the place that it was sweltering hot in the room, his response was 'You have two options - 1 accept this place or 2 I suggest you take your luggage and leave but you wont find any place in Naples tonight'. We were effectively trapped in taking it. They even had the nerve to suggest that we sleep on the pull out sofa which was filthy and would not even unfold properly. We ended up moving the mattress from the bedroom to the living room and sleeping on it for the air conditioning. The breakfast was cheap stuff that was not even worth eating. We decided to eat outside and leave the place when checking out as early as possible so we wont have to meet the rude men who ran the place.
• colinf585 (10/5): We stayed 3 nights in Naples at this B@B - It is a most unusual B@B, being located on the 7th floor of an office block near to the port area, and well located for exploring Naples. Breakfast is brought to your room at a time you specify, there being no dining room. The welcome and service was excellent, and people were very helpful with regard to getting around the city and travelling to places of interest. The room was spacious, with a small outside balcony, and well insulated from outside noise, having Air Con and also free WiFi. If we return to Naples we would definitely use this accommodation again, and thoroughly recommend it.

• Jude (10/5): Great little secret! - Superb location from which to explore the city. We were made to feel welcome / staff could not be more helpful. A lovely clean and quiet room, serviced daily. Large breakfast served en suite on a tea-trolley.
• ivanparkin (10/5): Perfect for a short break - This rather unusual hotel (its located on the 7th floor of an office/apartment block) is the ideal place for a short stay in Naples. Located a few minutes walk away from the airport bus stop, the metro and most of the major sights The owner, Mr Tardi makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. He is only too willing to help you with anything you need to make the most of your stay. The rooms are well furnished with more traditional fixtures, a welcome break from the usual chain hotel fitments. The view from (our) balcony was a sea view to the right, and the imposing Vesuvius straight ahead. Although the hotel is on a busy road, excellent glazing and electric blinds on the windows make the room very peaceful, perfect for a good nights sleep. Saying that, if you have never witnessed Italian driving, please spend a while on the balcony watching the road. It is an experience to say the least. Fast free wifi, aircon, a fridge and a room safe are all included. Breakfast is served in your room, at a time convenient for you and consists of the typical continental fayre, more than enough to set you up for the day. All in all, a great little hotel, excellent location, excellent staff, excellent rooms. What more could you want? Highly recommended. One tip, follow the instructions on how to get there from the hotel's own website, they will have you there in 2 minutes.

• gtonthebus (8/5): Away from chaos at Naples train station! - This was a solid 3-star hotel. Location was an easy subway ride from train station, very close to ferries and only a block from Old Naples which meant it was quiet and easy for going out day or night. It wasn't a typical hotel as it was located in an apartment building but had good security and was quiet (unique for Naples). The room was clean, the bed was a real double not two beds pushed together. Owners were very gracious about storing our bags after checkout and provided a nice, light breakfast delivered to our room in the morning.

• KZ (8/5): Safe place in the centre, close to the main sights - On the seventh floor (lift) of an office tower in the centre of Naples, next to the main police station (safe neighbourhood), kind staff, good breakfast and attention to the details (umbrella, slipper...). When opening the window, the street is noisy, but this is normal in Naples and the window is well insulated. Excellent place to explore on foot the main sights of Naples. The harbour is also a short walk (ship to Sorrento, Ischia, Capri).
• 111katherineg (8/5): Good facilities and location - We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is great - 5 minutes from the Old town and less than 2 minutes to the nearest metro stop. The room was spacious and spotless and reasonably priced. Natali was very helpful when we arrived and also when we left, letting us leave our bags in the room until the afternoon and also letting us use the bathroom before we went to the station. She even offered to book us a taxi. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning at the time you specify. There is no choice and we had the same breakfast each day. However, the was a fridge in the room where we could store groceries we had bought. My partner found the bed too hard but there was a mattress topper in the wardrobe which resolved the issue! If you do stay here I would recommend Alfredo's pizzeria which is round the corner. We ate there 3 out of the 4 nights!
• X2360XMpaulas (10/5): great location - great location good value I use them every time I am in Napoli and that is at least 4 times a year.It is a wonderful for families . Gives you the feel of "home" , not a typical "hotel". Natali is wonderful and will make sure you have everything you may need. I also love that WI-Fi is in every room.

• 3-doxies (10/5): Perfect location and Super Management - Located right in the heart of Old Naples. Everything is within walking distance. We had an artecard (purchased at the train station upon arrival) but the owner of the B&B wrote out an itinerary for us upon our arrival. He's also a big fan of the Naples flea market and can give you directions to that if you are there on a Sunday. We were there 5 days. Our continental breakfast was brought to our room every morning at the time we requested. Super friendly. Located on a small street, off a busy street, so the room was quiet, well lit, very comfortable bed, refrigerator, coffee maker. Your can rent a room or an apartment. Since our stay was short we did an apartment.
• geoffreyo350 (8/5): Good Location Good price - This B & B is right in the middle of Naples close to the Old City and walking distance from the Fishing port with all its restaurants and bars. The rooms are modern comfortable and clean and for such a central location I though reasonably priced at 85 Euros. Don't be put off by the entrance which is a mix of apartments and business as it does not do it justice. .. for a budget stay highly recommend
