• Alex (9/5): Nice, safe, comfortable place close to the main attractions. - Nice, clean, quiet room. Safe location, good breakfast, close to the main attractions either by bus or on foot (about 25 minute walk). Nice restaurants are 10 minutes away on foot. The owner is on premises, easy to communicate to. Nothing in particular. The room and the shower stall are a bit tight by American standards but pretty typical by European ones. Besides, you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

• Peter (8/5): A cozy place in a quiet place of the city. - The location was great. A quiet street with almost no traffic. The city centre is ~30 minutes on foot, or 10 minutes by a bus. The house is maintained by a very friendly family, we've had a good feeling being there. The breakfast was full of local products. There was a bit too much noise in the house, one could hear a lot of sounds from the upper floor, which were disturbing in the late evening. It would be nice to include some vegetable for the breakfast as well. We missed at least a small table and maybe some small plates in the room.

• Gabrielle (9/5): Quiet, comfortable spot in walking distance to lots of great neighborhoods - Wonderful location, up on a hill and easily walkable into the city center - it was super quiet at night, which I appreciated, and the neighborhood is lovely. My room was very comfortable, it was nice to be able to open the windows at night and let the cool air in. Quick walk to Boboli Gardens, the Oltrarno square, and easy to get to the train station on public transit or by foot. The host and his family were so kind - breakfast was lovely: Italian pastry, coffee and fresh fruit (perfect!). It was exactly what I wanted for a couple days in Florence!

• Francesco (8/5): Un giusto compromesso per chi arriva in auto - La location è molto tranquilla e i gestori molto disponibili. E' facile trovare parcheggio in strada proprio davanti all'alloggio. E' a pagamento durante il giorno e non nei giorni festivi, penso che a Firenze sia difficile trovare di meglio a 20min a piedi da Ponte Vecchio. La stanza era piccola ma confortevole (per me un po' antiquata nello stile, ma è questione di gusti). La colazione si svolge in un clima molto famigliare, probabilmente un plus per qualcuno, non per me che non amo molto socializzare di prima mattina. Attenzione che il ritorno al B&B prevede una salita lunga quasi 1km con rampa finale di 200 metri, evitabile in parte prendendo i mezzi, ma è più il tempo che si perde per aspettarli che il beneficio. Dalla cattedrale vanno messi in conto almeno 40 minuti per tornare al B&B. Materasso un po' troppo soffice.

Offering us suggestions on places to visits. The room was spotless, with lovely Italian linens. We both love to walk, it was just a 15 minute walk to the old town, and also conveniently located on a bus route. We would stay here again!

The *room was perfect*, cozy and clean, and the *breakfast was absolutely delicious* every morning. The location is ideal — *very close to the station* and walking distance from all the main landmarks. What touched us most was their kindness: it was my dad’s birthday, and they surprised him with a *cake as a gift* — such a thoughtful gesture! I absolutely *loved our stay* here and can’t recommend it enough. A *must-visit* in Florence!

• Tijmes (10/5): Sangaggio House is heerlijk - Authentiek pand in rustige wijk met zeer vriendelijke en lieve eigenaren. Zeer behulpzaam en meedenkend. Niks is teveel. Er was een staking en zijn door eigenaar vroeg met eigen auto een heel stuk gebracht tot wandelafstand van Ponte Vecchio om een afspraak te kunnen halen. Kregen ontbijt mee voor onderweg. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt in buffetvorm. Met diverse buslijnen (36/37) makkelijk te bereiken, te betalen in bus met crcrd of losse tickets te koop voor afstempelen in tabacchi. Ik denk als je flink kunt doorlopen dat het zo'n 30 min is, deels hellend stuk. Goed te doen. In de kamer is overal aan gedacht. Het ontbreekt aan niets. Je merkt dat aan de details. Heel relaxed. En schoon. We waren er 3 nachten. Ook zeer geschikt voor eigen vervoer want parkeerplaatsen voor de deur en al buiten centrum. Goede uitvalsbasis voor omgeving. Niets.

• Samvel (10/5): Exceptional - Charming and Clean B&B Near the Heart of Florence I had a lovely stay at this B&B in Florence. The location is great — not too far from the city center, within walking distance or a short ride to all the main sights, but in a quieter neighborhood which made for peaceful evenings. The house has a bit of an old-style charm, which actually adds to the character and gives you a more authentic Florentine feel. It’s not modern or flashy, but everything is very well kept and thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out to me was the cleanliness — the room, bathroom, and common areas were spotless. You can tell the hosts care a lot about maintaining the place well. Overall, it’s a great value if you’re looking for something clean, comfortable, and with a touch of local character, just outside the busiest part of the city.

• Lynne (10/5): - When I first booked this place, I did it as a single. Then my friend joined me so I didn't do the right planning for a larger room. The double room would be fine for a couple or a single since there is only one bed, but there was room for all our clothes, very nice nightstands next to each side and it worked out fine. The hosts were all more than accommodating for everything we needed and had all the nice things for breakfast each morning; meats, cheeses, croissants, fruit, juice and coffee. And when taxi service was really hard, they would call one for us. A nice quiet neighborhood close enough to center but far enough to relax.
• Dickopf (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly, humours and kind. We got a free room upgrade just because the room was free, and the owner thought the other one would be nicer and more convenient for us. The rooms were clean at any time. It's a small family owned B&B with 6 rooms. The breakfast buffet was great aswell and had everything that we needed (Homemade cakes Yummy!,2 kinds of sausage, 2 kinds of cheese, honey, jam, joghurts, tomato mozzarella, olives, 2 kinds of melons cherry's or other kinds of fruits, 2 kinds of juices, diffrent kind of coffee, 2 kinds of bread and a croissant. They will even make you eggs in whatever way you want them fresh in the pan, not like the disgusting scrambled eggs you get in big hotels. You can choose if you want to eat your breakfast inside or on the cute terrace. After talking a while with the owner and telling him what kind of things we like in vacations, he wrote us a list with over 30 places to visit in all of Italy. Which I appreciate a lot. As a small present, we got a picture of the cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore. We felt very welcome at all times. Thank you for your efforts to make it a great stay at your lovely place. To add for the ones reading the reviews, the House is up a hill and the breakfast downstairs. So it's not accessible for people in wheelchairs or people with other walking disabilities.

• Janed (9/5): We had a lovely time. - Staff were very friendly and provided us useful information about olaces to visit un and oursude Florence. There is also a direct bus that takes you to the city centre. Place is tidy and comfy.
