- vivian (8/5): - De eerste balie medewerker was niet vriendelijk ,ik probeerde hem uit te leggen om geen foto te maken waar mijn bsn nr opstaat dus kan ik mijn paspoort niet achterlaten en vind t niet erg om voor mij een foto te maken van t paspoort ,hij kon dat niet begrijpen en vroeg om een ander hotel te zoeken ,de daarop andere dagen snauwde hij me af wanneer ik vroeg náar mijn kwitantie ect van betaling ,de oudere man die een dag voor vertrek moest werken was vriendelijk ,om de eerste medewerker zou ik daar nooit meer heen gaan .

- Игорь (5/5): - Хорошее расположение отеля. Владелец был не очень приветлев, а вот на следующий день был пожилой администратор, очень добродушный. Проблема с парковкой. Если путешествуете на автомобиле, то данный отель не вариант. Владелец нас припорковал сначала вторым рядом. Когда приехала полиция, переставил на первый ряд, но в итоге полиция выписала штраф 750 лир. Хотя Владелец обещал что штрафа не будет. Неприятный осадок остался.
- Isha (4/5): Good location but Hotel could be better. - The beds were standard, comfortable. Location was pretty good, everything was nearby. Okay for short temporary stay. The old man was very friendly and helpful. Nothing really worked. Fridge didn’t work and was very dirty; upon asking, receptionist already knew and said he can’t do anything about it. Receptionist was very rude. I had asked the man to help us weigh our suitcases as I wasn’t able to pick it up and he said No. The wifi was very unstable and would not work at all. The bedsheets were not getting changed, neither were the towels. The towels already prepared were very dirty with stains on there. The provided slippers were also very dirty. The toilet door wouldn’t even close and no vents in there either.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying here again in the future.
- Kalo (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the hotel is very good and the view from the street side is nice. There was only one power outlet in the room. Walls are dirty which made it uncomfortable. Poor breakfest and once we were given moldy bread.

- Marko (4/5): Unpleasant reception at check-in which gave a bad after-taste for the whole stay. - OK breakfast and room OK, location good. The other service person was polite and customer oriented. Hotel did not accept a credit card payment but required the payment in cash and they did not deliver receipt for the payment. The person in check-in complained that the room price is too low to be profitable... why then use booking.com platform to sell their service. Wi-fi did not work until the second day evening during the stay and that was not told during the check-in either.

- Tahir (1/5): Bad. - Literally nothing Terrible Experience. Would give 0 stars if i could. I recently stayed at Mehmet Bey Hotel in Sultanahmet, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The room we were given was filthy, with bed bugs and outdated furniture, there was mold and smell of mildew everywhere. extremely dirty room and bathrooms. the bathroom was leaking toilet water and when we told the receptionist abt it he said he’d fix it in the morning when we knew we were only staying a night ? wtf ?and towels were wet and used. We booked through Booking.com, but the hotel gave us the wrong room after charging us 😬. We originally booked two large rooms with a double bed, but the receptionist rudely charged us for a big double bed room while giving us a single, small room instead. He kept insisting the hotel was full instead of refunding us our money and refused to listen to our complaints, even when we showed him the issues using a translator. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive extremely rude. morning of check out we went for breakfast and the guy at the reception (morning shift) dismissed us completely and started telling us that its over and that we only have a hour before we leave the room in such a disrespectful manner. making our stay uncomfortable and stressful. I would strongly advise against staying here.

No hot water in the bathroom, the Internet was not connected, the staff was very bad and not friendly at all, they didn't allow us to open the AC if we are not in the room and they took the room key when we left the room to close the AC, no one is there to carry your luggage and you need to carry it over the stairs

There was only Turkish Coffee nothing alternative in Coffee and the selection...My partner and daughter went to have breakfast and came back to the room terrified... Then i went to see my self and could not believe it...! No words about the selection .... in other words, breakfast was Not existed... When i asked Receptionist, to see the Manager/Owner, he was rude and tried to provoke me to fight (literally moved towards me) with him. !!! That's unbelievable. For a lesser time, in Reception there was a female staff... Smiley and very kind, smiley but...Limited English...!!
- Lamine (2/5): Vergammelter Keller & Skrupelloser Receptionist - Bei der Ankunft war der Empfang schon unfreundlich und der Herr fragte sofort ob wir Fotos von der Unterkunft dabei haben. Er sagte es werde uns sicher nicht gefallen. Er begleitete uns in einen Keller, in einer Strasse hinter dem Hotel, wo es schon überall nach Katzenkot und Urin roch. Um hinunter zu gelangen, musste man über eine Truhe steigen. Zusätzlich behauptete er, dass die Buchung nur für 3 Personen ohne Kind sei, obwohl der Name des Kindes aufgelistet war. Im Keller angekommen war es einfach schmuddelig, nach Katzen stinkend, schimmlig. Uns gefiel es gar nicht. Er sagte selber Schuld, das sei das was wir gebucht haben!!! Danach wollte er uns ein anderes Zimmer anbieten, welches mehr als doppelt so teuer war. Wir wollten dann das Zimmer sehen, was ihm nicht passte und ungern einwilligte! Nachdem meine Frau das Zimmer sah, welches auf den ersten Blick vom Rand des Zimmers gut war… War er eingeschnappt, und schrie meine Frau und meinen Sohn an. Sie sollen nicht mit ihm reden, in die Ecke sitzen, sonst können wir gehen. Das Geld hat er aber behalten! Danach haben wir uns spät abends mit einem Kind eine andere Bleibe suchen müssen !!!!!! Einfach unter aller Sau! Nebst der Unterkunft war der Mann an der Réception unanständig und frech
- Pavel (1/5): Bad - we went on Friday, we parked in front of the hotel, everything was fine, on Saturday a family had parked two cars behind us, we were out for a walk and when we came back I saw that a white Renault with Istanbul registration (34) was parked between the two cars, we got out and on the way back, my car had a damaged rear bumper, I asked for a recording from the cameras, but they didn't give me one, I already spent 150 euros to fix it. Don't go there! If they are correct, let them pay me at least half the money

Breakfast is at 8.30 / 10.00, but at 8.40 there is not much to eat, although there are not many guests. The room smells musty and is neglected. In order to pay the price at which the room is booked, you must have Euros in cash, otherwise a large surcharge will apply

- Marcos (1/5): WORSE Experience EVER - The 2 reception guys and the made who also serve the breakfast. READ CARFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK!!! I booked 3 bedroom flat with elevator but it was in another building without elevator. Could not stay there because my mother cannot climb stairs. We were allocated in one terrible triple room without kitchen e other facilities and charged more to downgrade. The fridge was not working. I complained with the owner and he asked "why" abd totally Ignored. We stayed without fridge all the time. The room has a bad mold and infiltration in the ceiling which made us very sick with allergy. They not change the horrible towels they provided you. We put 2 to wash because fall in the wet toilet floor. The owner complained and I explained the reason was there is a linking from the shower he replied "impossible". I recorded a video and showed to the receptionist and made. All towels had a big holes on it so does had the bed linen. In over 30 years travelling around and 4th time in Istanbul this was my worse stay ever.

- Elena (7/5): Book it if the location is important. - The location is brilliant, the view from the room on the top floor is amazing. There is an elevator to reach the top floor. And if to take into account that the hotel is not expensive and breakfast is included, the rating on booking.com is too low, the hotel is not all in all bad. It was very cold in March in the room, there is no heating. The AC turned on heating was not enough when the temperature outside is plus 3 C. The fridge is so dirty that there are ants crawling. The breakfast was so poor, just a plate with tiny stripes of cheese and a bagel and one egg, and it is in Istanbul where food is not expensive at all!!!

- Christopher (5/5): A superb location, slightly dated but charming - The bathroom was very nice. The manager seemed a very nice man and helpful. However, I had to pay cash as apparently the credit card machine was not working. The location is great ! There was a strong smell of cigarette in the hotel. I have asthma and this upset my breathing. The breakfast was a case of a made up tray. I only had it once - aimed at local tastes rather than international. The stairs are steep and so not suitable for elderly people of those with young children. There was a kettle in the bed room but no tea or coffee in the bedrooms. Overall the location and convenience are bonus points to the hotel. I think to attract more international guests the hotel needs to get rid of the cigarette smell.

- Mustafa (1/5): Bad manners of hotel receptionist/manager - The only thing I liked was the view of the room, which was the sea of Marmara The hotel receptionist (or maybe even the manager, I don't know) was rude and clearly stated that he hates Arab people, which is considered hate speech. Whenever we faced a problem in the room or something, we informed him of the problem only to ignite an argument. He accused me and my father, who's older than him by not less than 30 years, of having a mental problem and clearly stated that by pointing towards his head while saying, 'you have a problem in here'. They even started to cut off breakfast items by approx day 3 of our stay while clearly providing everyone else the whole items. As for the room, it was not like what I saw when I made the reservation in terms of size. They cheated us on this issue. They even took a little bit more money than when I made the reservation. It definitely doesn't worth approx US $100 per night (we were a family of 3 persons, we booked a triple room for 5 nights, and we paid US $490) I don't recommend this hotel.

- Ahmad Bakr (2/5): - Ich möchte mit aller Aufrichtigkeit darauf hinweisen, dass die Lage sehr wunderbar ist und alle wichtigen Orte bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Das alles ist schön, aber ich finde, dass das Wichtigste von allem der Respekt vor dem Kunden ist, egal aus welchem Land er stammt, welcher Rasse er angehört und welche Sprache er spricht. Das Hotel ist nicht sauber, die Bettwäsche ist schmutzig und abgenutzt, die Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht, das Internet ist sehr schwach und der Fernseher ist nur Dekoration. Und am wichtigsten ist, dass es eine Verwaltung und Arbeiter gibt, die ihr Heimatland respektieren, indem sie den Touristen respektieren. Ich empfehle es nicht und dringend
- Peter (8/5): - Kleiner freundliche Hotel in beste Lage, einige Minuten zu Fuss von Hagia Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Camii, Top Kapi, Basar. Sauber mit freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Personal. Moechte besonders Mehmet erwaehnen, welcher laufend alle Wuensche der Reisender erfuellt. Wir sagen ein grosser Danke.

They were not friendly, didn't want to help or talk to us when we needed assistance; even when I used Google Translate.I asked for a better room & what we were guaranteed by Expedia, they refused to help. Toilet paper, not simple basics of shampoo & soaps were not supplied! Only given 3 towels for 4 nights for 3 people. Rooms not cleaned daily. Sheets stained. No trash cans in rooms. No dresser/closets in rooms. Birds on roof made noise 24/7. Worst part too is that they made you put in a key to "TURN ON" electricity. Which meant there WAS NO AC at any point when you were gone, so the room was 150 degrees when you entered and took 4 hours to cool down; in addition to the fridge was turned off during that time too - so our food spoiled!!!! Any towels they washed were then put soaking wet over the kitchen chairs where you were to have the free breakfast. So the chair were wet when you sat down. Holes in the walls. Mold on the ceiling. Room smelled like cigarettes

The apartment didnt have air-conditioning or fans. The manager was rude. The wifi was bad. They didnt take card for saving tax.

- Haris (4/5): - I would not recommend anybody this hotel. The apartment is absolutely terrible. The room we had to book instead was also terrible and very expensive!! The rooms had mold, the blankets had stains, the room was only cleaned twice even though they say, they clean the rooms daily. Would never ever go back there! Only one guy who was there was very kind and tried to help us, the rest was terrible. Once you ask anybody something and turn your back to them they start cursing you in turkish, which is ridiculous!!!
