Guest Reviews
- VARUN (10/5): - Cozy room just a short walk from Rome Termini station, which made it incredibly convenient for travel and exploring the city. The area felt safe and was well-connected to major attractions. The room was clean, quiet, and had all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a simple, central base in Rome.
- Mauro (10/5): - Personale gentilissimo pronto ad aiutarci e a soddisfare la nostre richieste
- Allan (6/5): - Hard to find very ordinary. Not what we expected
- Emma (4/5): Done it’s job - Not worth £400+ euros. If you’re looking for the shabby hotel from the film just married you’ve found it. Looks nothing like the pictures. We were given the address to check in which we had to phone as the buzzer wasn’t working so was stood outside for 20 minutes. We then got taken to a completely different building to our room as it was quieter, which to be fair it was. Our room again nothing like the photos, had mould along side the window, furniture from the 1960’s, rock hard mattress and 1 very thin pillow. Our toilet was leaking and when I messaged the property owner to switch rooms fix the toilet I was ignored. We did get clean bedding and towels each day which we liked and the air condition worked fine. Water pressure was good however would never go warm or hot. Walls were paper thing heard everyone going to the toilet throughout the night and even having sex as if we were right next to them it was that clear. The room did its job for being a place to sleep and freshen up however the room condition was just awful, marks all over the wall, toilet leaking, mould on the window overall not great.
- Lolita (4/5): - First off when we went to the property to check, we were told after check in that we were staying at their other property which was another 9 minute walk away, bid inconvenience. Also the drains in the room
Stink horribly, cleaning practices are horrible, you could see black mold on the ceiling.
- Jon (2/5): - Host kept knocking on our door when we said that we were busy insisting on speaking with us, turns out he simply forgot to write down our I’d numbers but couldn’t wait until we walked down later.
- Ariel (4/5): - Nothing like the pictures.
Beds were uncomfortable, I don’t think these are meant to be hotel rooms but they made them into them. Super noisy staff and because it’s inside a big facility with other “hotels” there’s people being loud constantly, walls are thin. My window was a straight view of the garbage.
- Lynda (10/5): Great location - Excellent location and very friendly and helpful
- Jennifer (6/5): - I thought this place was decent. It wasn’t marked well so I had a tough time finding it. No blanket, just sheets. They never gave me my change when I paid the city tax. Make sure you have the correct change. I don’t know if I would stay again. The early check in was great.
- JOSE ANTHONY (8/5): You get what you pay for - We arrived in Rome in a scorching hot day of summer. Great location just 4 minutes from Termini.
It’s an old building (as most lodging places in the area) but rooms are ok. No complains at all only pillows could be better and also have something to hold the soap in the shower installed. Other than that everything was good. A/C worked perfectly! (Very important)
- Verified traveler (4/5): Convenient location but poor experience. - The check in place was very hard to find. The shower was broken when we arrived. They did fix it quickly, but it continued to flood the floor.there was a sewage smell from the shower at times. The walls were paper thin and it was very
Loud.
- Elodie (8/5): - Nice hotel, fairly basic but as only in Rome for 3 nights, had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Only downside was that our double bed was just two singles pushed together where one of the beds was slightly higher than the other.
- sidika (4/5): Think twice and read other travellers review - Over priced. No wifi. Told man6 excuses. Tiny bathroom, campervans have larger showers. I wasn't to impressed with my experience.
- R (8/5): Clean place near Termini - If you are looking for a place to stay near Termini (maybe the night before an early flight out), I would be happy to recommend the Angelica. If you are familiar with the area, you know that these little “pensione” type hotels are all over. This one was very clean and the water pressure was simply amazing. I would happily stay again. The owners may have more than one facility so you may need to call the number on the placard outside on the street to alert them of your arrival
- Verified traveler (10/5): - clean and big. The water was hot and good pressure.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic but clean - This was okay for a brief overnight stay before catching the morning train. We had no trouble accessing the place, it was basic but clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It is okay - Typical of Rome, the rooms are located at different locations than the reception. Give them a call if you cannot find the reception.
Exterior of the place may not seem appealing, but the room is well kept and clean, which is what matters. Breakfest consists of a voucher to a nearby restaurant for one pastry and one drink.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Enjoyable stay - The location was definitely the primary reason I booked this B&B--just a 5 minute walk from the Roma Termini train station. The room was nice and clean. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Breakfast was in a restaurant down the street, and the price was reasonable. The only complaint I have is that the reception is located in a another building on a completely different block. I had first arrived at the address listed on the website, but was supposed to go somewhere else to check in and out. But other than that, this was a pleasant stay and would very likely book this B&B again.
- Tim (6/5): convenient to train station - would have given this spot higher marks if the shower were in proper order and if the refrigerator worked. but one of the shower doors was missing and the shower head was in disrepair. being next to the train station made my trip to and from the airport both fast and cheap. otherwise, the sights are a far walk or a quick ride on the metro; just remember the metro closes at 10pm!
- Kate (2/5): This is not a hotel!!!! - I would not define Angelica as a hotel. It is cheap rooming. I had asked for a double bed and was given one but there was also a double deck in the room so you can imagine the space we were moving in. The room was cleaned once in the 3 nights we were there. Location is very close to the Termini but neighbourhood not that great. There is no front office/reception in this place. Just 4 rooms on the first floor of a building. Good for Rome overnighters on a budget.
