- Martyna Pasterczyk (10/5): - I would like to update my previous review of Hotel Shelton and sincerely apologize for my earlier negative opinion. Since my last stay, I can honestly say that the hotel has changed a lot — and for the better. The improvements are very noticeable: the atmosphere is much more welcoming, the service is professional and friendly, and the overall experience was far more enjoyable than before. It’s clear that the management has put a lot of effort into making positive changes, and it truly deserves recognition. Another huge advantage is the location — it is absolutely perfect. Everything is close by, transport connections are excellent, and it makes exploring the city very convenient. I’m really happy I decided to give this hotel another chance. Thank you to the team for the hard work and the improvements. I highly recommend this hotel now and I will gladly return again in the future.

It was too late as I had to be at work next day by 8am Price was breakfast included but I didn’t get a refund. It was inconvenient as I had to source breakfast myself

Para ir a dormir esta super bien La única queja sería que al estar cerca de la estación de tren se escucha bastante el sonido, pero es un detalle.

Fenêtre qui ne se ferme plus, humidité, poils sur la moquette, traces dans le lit, besoin de rénover partout (armoire qui tient pas, douche qui se décolle du mur, fenêtre, des fois pas d’eau chaude des fois trop chaud, etc.). No había mando de la tv,tuve que encenderla manual desde la tv.cable tv no llegaba hasta el enchufe,tuve que quitar alargador del katle para ponerlo en la tv. Cama cómoda y grande,pero pegada a la pared solo 1 mesita en un lado y lámpara en el armario,osea que si queríamos luz o quitarla,había que levantarE de la cama. De madrugada,se pusieron a echar ambientador por pasillo,se oía ka gente hablar y andar....Nuestra habitación estaba al lado de la recepción....

After going downstairs to find breakfast i ended up in the kitchen, which looked filthy, got told it would be brought to the room. The Breakfast was stone cold, and very basic when it arrived. Not that I would have eaten it after where I had seen it was prepared. room was filthy, lights falling out of the ceiling, full of muck, dirt, dead flies, Bathroom shower tray had rust specs all over, was all patched up with silicone No remote for tv so couldn't use, asked reception for one along with an extra pillow, only 1 per person... very thin pillows... had to remind staff 45 mins later for these... Carpets full of stains and overall not whst seems on booking.com

Servían un gran desayuno y te lo traían a la habitación cada mañana!! Mejoraría un poco el cuidado de las instalaciones, renovarlas y un poco más de limpieza, por lo demás genial!

- Martyna Pasterczyk (2/5): - The man at the reception was very kind and helpful. He brought me toilet paper because the roll in my room had been left empty. During my stay at the hotel, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. When I arrived, I noticed that the bed linen had not been changed – there were hairs on it, which was very unpleasant. The bedding also looked old and dirty. The bathroom was in a very poor condition as well. There was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom that clearly had not been replaced for a new guest. The toilet was extremely dirty, and the shower was also not properly cleaned. Unfortunately, the level of hygiene in this hotel is very low and definitely needs improvement. This kind of condition is unacceptable for hotel guests.

- Yannic (8/5): - Nah zur Bahnstation Extrem freundliches Personal Bequeme Betten Emirates Stadion fußläufig erreichbar Die Dusche war undicht und beim Duschkopf war etwas undicht so dass nur ca die Hälfte des Wassers aus dem Duschkopf kam und nicht schon vorher an der Seite raus. Allerdings hat der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption gesagt dass sich darum gekümmert wird( wir waren nur eine Nacht dort)

- Thomas (3/5): - Staff The room decor and curtains left a lot to be desired. Bedroom window (lower) boarded up, (upper) cracked. Pigeons fancied the outside! The view wasof a roof no more than 80ft away filled with car tyres, not nice to look at and i would think a fire hazard at least. Kettle hadn't been emptied. Tea/coffee sugar looked old/ not refreshed, no milk. Oh, and it was all moot as no cup! No Hangars either.. Shared toilet/shower room decoration was poor, shower cubicle well passed its sell by date, ingrained dirt/marks, door not doesn't close resulting in flooding (not major) but enough to pool and from shower to the door. Had to use the 1 towel to soak up the water. The shower water pressure was good! Breakfast was to be brought to the room as they had nowhere else to use as a breakfast room. Decided to not avail myself so can't comment on the food. The signage on the outside states it's Harringay Hotel yet it's advertised as London Shelton Hotel which was confusing for me and my Uber driver. Member of staff had informed me they'd not long taken the place over, however that is no excuse to keep a run down established open. They should have closed the place and refurbished before opening.

Small dingy room, nothing like the photos. Couldn't open the windows as it was very loud out side which made the room very hot. Carpet had seen better days. Walls had something smudged in it. Bathroom was unclean, not plug in the sink just an open hole. The shower was either scolding or freezing. Good job we brought our own towels as the ones provided were only suitable for the floor when getting out of the shower. Our friends stayed in another room and said they could hear rats scurrying around in the ceiling above! Booking.com says not need to book car but when we arrived we did have to pre book. The man on reception managed to squeeze us in...on the pavement...at £15 a day. Only to be blocked in when we needed to leave early. Im assuming they wanted to get as much money out of people as possible so squeezed us all in and then they had to wake a poor lady up when we needed to leave. Absolutely disgusting place...avoid at all costs.

- Anonymous (5/5): Despite these inconveniences, I believe the hotel has potential, especially given its friendly staff - I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, I had a positive experience. One of the aspects I really appreciated was the flexible check-in policy, which allowed me to register until midnight. This was extremely convenient, especially after a long day of travel, and made my stay much more comfortable. Additionally, the staff members were very friendly and welcoming; their helpfulness and professionalism truly made me feel valued as a guest. However, there were a few drawbacks that affected my stay. The smell in the room and bathroom was quite unpleasant and somewhat overpowering. It was difficult to get rid of the odor, which significantly affected my comfort. The bathroom window did not close properly and was often left open during ventilation, but unfortunately, this did not help improve the smell. It seemed that the room’s ventilation was inadequate in addressing the issue. Another point worth mentioning was the quality of the tea provided in the room. It was old and had a musty, moldy smell, making it impossible to drink.
