Guest Reviews
- Rasmus Bernhard (10/5): -
- federico martin (10/5): - Todo Nada
- petr (8/5): -
- Faithful (8/5): Beautiful property, convenient for touring Rome - Absolutely beautiful garden, lovely view, the pool was great. The location was perfect - just outside of all the chaos of the city, but a 3 minute walk to the bus / store / restaurants. The shower was rough and painful to use. We were also covered in bug bites like crazy, so if you're sensitive to that, be prepared.
- Karczis (10/5): -
- Johanna (10/5): -
- Monostory (8/5): Quiet and friendly - The only thing I missed is the coffee making facility in the room.
- Orestis (10/5): - The garden and rustic style. Anatolia was so sweet like the Italian mama you wanted to have. She cared for us and our baby as if we were family. -

- Laurie (10/5): Felt like staying with family. - Beautiful quiet surroundings with lots of trees and flowers. Lots of places to sit outside and relax.
- Janny (10/5): -
- Birgitta (8/5): Härliga dagar i Rom.
- Ryan (9/5): - Hosts were lovely. Grounds and room very traditional. Lovely quiet area just outside of Rome centre
- Alex (6/5): It did the job. - View and breakfast were awesome. Customer service very friendly. Floors were not clean in our room. The pillows were very bad. No hot water in the AM or PM. Showers had to be VERY quick.
- Corina (9/5): Ruhige Oase - Pool, Garten Frühstück
- Dirk (10/5): - Sehr nette Gastgeber. Toller Ort mit Pool und Liegewiese.
- Joanne (9/5): Wonderful English speaking hosts, comfortable accommodation in a sanctuary garden. - Friendly helpful English speaking hosts. Private room set in a beautiful sanctuary garden. Excellent breakfast.
- Rosy (9/5): Everything we needed but most importantly a lovely welcome by the owners - Traditional with lovely garden and pool
- Jo-Anne (10/5): From the first interaction with Nicole to the end of our stay when Josef took us to collect our rental car, Anatolia, Jo - Truly authentic Italian property. Very comfortable and clean.
Lovely surroundings and pool.
- Tomasz (10/5): - Przemiła obsługa. Znakomity klimat.

- Alison (10/5): Wonderful relaxing location for a visit to Rome. - Friendly hosts, lovely pool to relax and cool off after a long day of sight seeing. Spacious suite for our family of 4. It’s a little farther from Rome than we expected but the bus is very easy.
- Delphine (9/5): We had a great time! - The hosts are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the pool and the amenities are great. The B&B is located close to supermarket, 10 mins walk away from restaurants and from a bus stop that gets you in 15 mins to St.Peter in Rome.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - Greetings from Austria,
Everything went as expected. Rooms are clean and compfortable, pool area was great to relax and very well maintained.
Nicole and her husband Giuseppe were always here to help, called us a Taxi every day and gave us nice tips for our trips.
Also we were able to have the breakfast earlier because of our flight. Breakfast got less choices than a hotel buffet but still gave us great family vibes and was very nice to enjoy with the good mood of Anatolia who remembered how we drink our coffee and how we liked our toast every morning.
Anytime again!
- Patrick (10/5): Rustic charm - Picked up by Conrad from the airport as previously arranged by Nicole. On arrival at the property we were met by Antolia with a lovely warm smile and were swiftly shown to our villa right next to the pool. Quirky wee villa with interesting touches especially the wardrobe doors. As previously mentioned this B&B is rustic and charming. Public transport is 5 minutes walk, buses are frequent and very cheap so definetly no need for taxis. On the Road Steakhouse is worth a visit along with Pepes other than that we went on the bus into the city to eat. The hosts are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. My wife had a problem with a tooth and they even arranged a visit to the dentist for her. All in all a great choice that we came across by chance. Oh almost forgot to say thank you to Chinzia (apologies for the spelling if wrong) for looking after us every day at breakfast. Nothing
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional stay with a great host - This place was amazing...when we first arrived we sort of asked ourselves whether this was the right place to stay as this wasn't quite in the heart of Rome but as soon as we got in the pool, all doubts was cast aside as we were so happy we booked this place..Rome during Summer gets exceptionally hot and the option of booking a place with a nice pool is a big plus in my books...THE POOL WAS AWESOME!!!
Nicole, the host was just simply amazing....right from when we booked till we reached the accommodation, she was very helpful and approachable with all requests...big thanks to Nicole for all her hospitality and making our stay in Rome simply awesome..Nicole even extended our checkout which we were really grateful for as our flights weren't til later on in the afternoon and this just added to all the positives we experienced at this property...
There's only 4 rooms at the property and all the rooms had their own entrances away from the main house therefore ensuring privacy which is a big bonus for me... The room/property had a Spanish villa type of feel and the room was very clean and spacious ... Air-conditioning was great and again due to the hot weather made our stay very comfortable...
There is a bus service only 8 min walk away from the property and very very convenient.... We were at the Vatican within 30 min from the property and the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and all other major attractions in Rome was a short bus ride away...
There isn't many options with properties with a pool in Rome at a reasonable price and La Valle Dei Casali ticked all the boxes for us. Again a big thanks to Nicole for making our stay such a pleasure and they even dropped us to the airport which is only 20.min from the property...
Can't wait till I get back to Rome and this property will be my first choice when I come to Rome again.... Everything was perfect.... Nothing to complain about
- Ilse (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B just outside Rome. It was the perfect peaceful escape from the city, yet still close enough for easy access to all the sights. The pool was a real highlight, especially during the hot weather — such a refreshing treat after a day of exploring.
From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, and you could tell how much care and thought they’ve put into every detail. The personal touches throughout the property really made it feel special.
Our room was lovely, and we especially enjoyed having breakfast each morning on our private terrace — such a relaxing way to start the day. The breakfast itself was generous and delicious, with plenty of fresh, local options.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, personal, and comfortable stay near Rome!
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): An oasis of calm. - An oasis of calm in a beautiful property. It was a pleasure to stay at and the hosts were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. We used the lovely pool every day. We arrived back after midnight having seen Rome at night and heard Nightingales singing. Bellissimo. Would definitely book again.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Astrid (9/5): Great! - Very nice hosts and beautiful surroundings! Recommended!
- Simone (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Thank you for the nice stay! - Beautiful outside amenities, including lovely swimming pool. Water in shower was cold
- Levia (10/5): They staff were so helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. - The pool and gardens were beautiful, it had a small homely view. The beds were comfy and it was excellent to have a fridge. We loved it all, but couldn’t work out how to use the jacuzzi.
- Vickie (9/5): Superb - Giuseppe and Alatonia are the loveliest hosts, nothing was a problem, everything was possible, Giuseppe has excellent English and is very helpful. The gardens and the pool area are stunning. The most peaceful location, minutes from the bus stop that takes you quickly to the city.
- Fiona (10/5): excellent :) - welcoming hosts accommodated and exceeded our needs, perfect quiet location, clean spacious property, rooms cleaned and reset every day. within walking distance of bus and supermarket. offer of additional extras - breakfast, airport transfers etc. wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
- Jenna (10/5): Perfect 🤩 - Everything - Guiseppe made us feel so welcome and it was a beautiful place to stay. We ended up cycling to and from Rome centre which was fun and cut down the price of taxis. Big thank you Guiseppe! Jenna & Calum :)
- Chomiak (10/5): Beautiful oasis with a pool with very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and a great pool to relax by. - Peacefulness of the property - close to the attractions of Rome but quiet and very easy to relax by the pool after visiting attractions in Rome. We didn’t have a car so we took Uber from the airport and after that we walked to a grocery store and restaurant. You can take a public bus to the center of Rome. The only downside for us was that the shower in our apartment was very small - would be an issue for someone on the heavy side. Our Kids’s apartment had a very large shower however so just ask for the right apartment if shower size could be an issue.
- Rosalie (10/5): Relaxing Rome stay - Convenient to bus to city centre, 20min trip.
So nice to relax in such beautiful surroundings after day sightseeing in heat.
Loved everything , hosts so welcoming and helpful.
Would love to return one day
- Thomas (10/5): A beautiful place to stay in Rome - It is a beautiful place to spend some time while visiting Rome. Giuseppe and his family are really kind and welcoming. The garden and pool are fantastic and we enjoyed spending the day there and heading to Rome later in the day which is easy to get to on the bus. Enjoyed everything.
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Shannyn (10/5): Perfect stay! We want to come visit again some day! Grazie Mille! - Giuseppe and Antonia really made our experience very special. We were picked up by Giuseppe from the airport after arriving quite late from a 22 hour flight and he spoke very good English and was so kind and friendly immediately. Antonia also greeted us and our children with a warm hug. We felt very welcome! The pool was perfect and our kids had a ball! Giuseppe even arranged taxis for us as well and nothing was too difficult. We loved that there weren’t too many guests as well so it felt very private. It was a short 20 min taxi or bus into Rome which we also liked as Rome is very busy this time of year. There’s a supermarket and amazing delicatessen serving Pizza just around the corner also and some good restaurants within walking distance. This was our first stay in a 5 week trip around Italy and Greece and it is one that we will definitely remember! Thankyou Giuseppe and Antonia, you are beautiful people! Xx Honestly nothing! There is no kitchen in the rooms but we were aware of this when we booked so it wasn’t a problem. There was a small bar fridge in the room that we used though which was very handy. The only small suggestion I could make would be to have some wine glasses or other glasses in the room… though that’s not very important as we just asked Giuseppe for some and he was more than happy to provide some. He even brought us a delicious little Italian appetizer with it too.
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Very nice guesthouse, and a breakfast made by the family. We discovered the countryside around Rome. Bus to the center is very easy.
- Mika (9/5): Great place - Great garden and clean rooms.
- Antonijo (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent facility, cleanliness, Giuseppe and Anatollia welcomed us and received us with a smile from ear to ear. Only recommendations from me! 🙂
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Super friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The location was a perfect balance of relaxation in a beautiful location but still close enough to the city for sight seeing
- Moira (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely comfortable stay with a friendly welcome. Handy for city exploring but also room to relax and enjoy the pool side after a busy day.
- Andrew (10/5): Comfortably relaxed, welcoming hosts, beautiful property, wanting to stay more - Giuseppe and Anatolia were amazingly gracious hosts! From travel into the city, to dining on proper Italian cuisine (not the tourist food), and shopping. Didn’t have breakfast, but did notice quite the spread available when I was in for coffee. Easy access by bus to central city area. Property is beautifully decorated and gives you the country feel while quite close to downtown Rome. Highly recommend, looking forward to returning! We didn’t have time to relax by the pool! Next time we will!
- Fitzpatrick (8/5): Overall it was very good. - The setting was lovely. Ideal spot on a leafy lane after the hustle and bustle of Rome City Centre. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the actual room.
There was nowhere to sit in the room. Our stay was in April, and it was quite chilly of an evening, so a comfy seat in the bedroom would have been appreciated.
- Matthew (10/5): Perfection, from start to finish this stay was amazing and the owners made our honeymoon so special. - This B&B was simply amazing. Both of the owners were about as hospitable as you could have asked for. The location was perfect and was just a short 20 minute bus ride to the city center. The rooms were spotless and cleaned/reset everyday. Not only was everything perfect, the owners helped to make sure it was perfect. They checked in often and met us at breakfast everyday. Breakfast is a simple yet traditional Italian breakfast. Do not come here expecting eggs and bacon every morning, but know that you will have the best fresh coffee, pastries, yogurts and more at your service. If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome, this is the place for you! We are already planning on coming back, and we know we are going to stay here again.
- Ali (8/5): Very good - Location was good and quiet. Breakfast is poor in terms of offering cheese, eggs, olives etc... Owners are very hospital and friendly.
- Vaigunthavasan (10/5): Very good - Very good place to stay
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Ciaran (9/5): Superb -
- Agarcia (10/5): A beautiful place to stay if you want to feel at home. Highly recommend it! - This was an amazing place and the owners treat you like family. Literally. They dote after you to make sure you have what you need and it's such a welcoming trait when you're unfamiliar with Rome. You’re not a stranger to them and they literally go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Giuseppe helped us with transportation and gave us great information for our travels. And his wife - bellisima! I honestly felt like she was family! Everything was clean, the pool was beautiful, and the breakfasts were more than enough. We are so grateful to this wonderful family for making us feel at home. Super accommodating and simply, just a wonderful couple.
Traveling to the center of Rome is simple and just 30 minutes away by bus (bus stop is about a 10 minute walk). Great location. We would definitely stay there again. Grazie!
- Kirsten (10/5): Exceptional - Rome is an extraordinary but super busy city! It was a blessing to be able to combine all the experiences in the center of Rome with the opportunity to withdraw to this calm, beautiful sanctuary and wind down in the garden. The atmosphere was superb, absolutely lovely. The owners made us feel very welcome
(10/5): Exceptional -
- Mari (8/5): Beautiful and quiet - outside the
City centre - Beautiful and quiet place outside of the City centre of Rome. Wonderful garden!
The hosts were warm and welcoming.
Highly recomend!
- Aida (10/5): Exceptional -
- Midge (3/5): Not worth the travel time or expense - Neighborhood was not pleasant for walking and the area did not offer restaurants or cafes.
The breakfast was the worst of anyplace we stayed in Europe. No fresh foods or pastries and all was poor quality.
- Mike (10/5): A wonderful family-run guest house with the best hosts in Italy - It was a wonderful family-run guest house just outside Rome, away from the hustle of the city but near enough to travel in on the bus. Giuseppe and Anatolia were the best hosts, so friendly and welcoming. When our daughter was sick, Giuseppe not only video-called his doctor, he drove us to the pharmacy to get some medication for her. The kids loved the pool and the food was nice too. I loved every second of our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it. Hard to think of anything really.
- Tanja (8/5): A peaceful stay with a Nice pool, close to the city with the bus. - Clean,Nice pool area and Guiseppe and his wife was very Nice people
- Eltibarius (10/5): Top stay close to Rome! - The hosts are really charming people that make you feel welcome from the start, they give you the vacation vibe. It’s all clean, cozy and family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the talks with Guiseppe
- John (10/5): A real home from home. - You know when you go to visit a member of your family, and they are really pleased to see you, well this is what staying here is like. You immediately feel part of the family.
Guiseppe and his lovely wife are great hosts, and will give you all the info you need to get into Rome, and give you a great breakfast before you go, and will also give you info on good places to eat locally too.
I said I'd give you 12 out of 10 and I mean it too. Nothing
- Janneke (9/5): Great stay nearby Rome - Beautiful location in a very green area. Nearby bus and a lovely swimmingpool. Very very very kind owners! Thank you very much! The breakfast lady is also very kind! Thank you voor the cosy music this morning :) Nothing
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (9/5): Superb - Grounds, pool, accomodation were amazing Lots of mosquitos
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Walker (10/5): Fantastic! - This place is just magical. We could not have been made more welcome by the owners, they done everything to make our stay fantastic. With beautiful surrounding gardens having breakfast with a view was amazing. The 98 bus will take you straight to Rome, if like us you don't like staying in the city centre this place is where to be. Nothing 😊
- Marieclaude (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful hosts! We very much felt at home! Thanks for those precious memories!;
- Sherryl (8/5): Very good -
- Jelena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamara (7/5): lovely b&b - lovely b&b ran by a lovely couple. we enjoyed our short stay, pool was nice and garden was lovely. very far from rome city centre. we caught a buss and took us around 40-50 minutes. busses are great ran on time but plan ahead.
- Martina (10/5): I recommend this place. - It is a wonderful place where you can enjoy your vacation. The house and garden are located in a quite area, only 20 minutes far from the city.
Thanks to Giuseppe and his wife you can feel like at home. He is ready to help you with anything and any time.
We had a great time.
- Chay (10/5): Beautiful home and lovely hosts. Would stay again. - Such a beautiful home, not too far from central Rome
but far enough to have a lovely rural vibe. The hosts were so lovely.
- Wesley (10/5): Exceptional - Staff are extremely friendly and helpful
- Gill (9/5): Lovely stay in Rome - Giuseppe and his wife couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the b&b had lovely views and gardens. It was in a beautiful setting and our room was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy and the shower powerful. The pool was amazing and Giuseppe was very kind in allowing us to stay by the pool for a couple of hours after we checked out as our flight wasn't til the evening. Although we were aware we were out of the city, we were a little further out than we realised (about 30 minutes by bus). However, the buses are frequent and run til fairly late. We tended to stay in the city all day/eve rather than come back and change and go back again.
- James (10/5): Excellent - Location optimal for visiting Rome among the flowers, flowers, and birds of the hillsides. Staff is both friendly and non obtrusive. the crowds in the city
- Adam (10/5): Nice quiet place. Perfect for rest after sightseeing. - Very kind and helpful family that host you here.
Breakfast is rather sweet but you can get french toasts with ham and cheese.
Garden is big and green.
We had suite and it was big (2 rooms) and clean.
There was always a place on the street for our car. 20-30 min drive to city center.
Quiet place.
We will definitely come back :)
- Ann-louise (10/5): highly recomended to see Rom 😊👍 - beatiful place with a pool and garden , close to bus and all attractions we wanted to see. colleseum, Vatican, spanish steps and trevi fountin. perfect place to stay with the nicest owners. close to airport.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good - Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were decent and very clean which was great. Yes I would stay here again. Shower could have been a little bigger which is a personal thing & maybe a little more could be offered in the line of breakfast, for example cooked eggs or cooked bacon. These are just personal choices and everything we did receive and have was more than satisfactory. Lovely stay with superb hosts.
- Maksymilian (9/5): Wonderful break - Beautiful place. Close to Rome yet very green and calm
- Andrew (9/5): A peace place to see Rome. - good location for visiting Rome, yet in the countryside. Private with a nice pool and garden. Bus and supermarket 500m walk. Attentive host who is both generous and kind. very little.
- Cloud (10/5): Exceptional - I felt at home, the breakfast was wonderful, the owners were exceptional people and took very good care of me. They have made the BnB a paradise in Roma! They are a major part of the reason the stay was amazing.
Thank you 😊 That my stay had to end.
- Tracey (9/5): Met our needs in all aspects. The hosts, Giuseppe & his family were most welcoming. Lovely people. - The breakfast was adequate for our needs i.e cereal, toast, cheese, croissants, juices, coffee. There were other things on offer, however, we were satisfied with our choices.
The service was impeccable & very friendly.
The location was superb for a little tranquility after long days in the centre of Rome. It’s hard to find fault with this accommodation & the hosts. Maybe a little background music in the breakfast area could be considered.
- Olena (9/5): Superb - authentic, nice atmosphere, quiet
