• 979FionaM (2/5): IT’S CLOSED BUT NO ONE WILL TELL YOU! - We arrived here on Sat 25th April to find it very clearly closed and not been open for the past week, judging by other reviews!! Booking.com must’ve known this if others had told them and the hotel obviously knew what bookings they had coming up, yet we received no notification. Trying to find another hotel at 2pm the same day, on the London Marathon and FA Cup semi-finals weekend at such short notice and not pay a crazy amount of money was a feat in itself. So would clearly not recommend this hotel and actually it makes me think twice about using Booking.com as well. The best part was they took our money the Wednesday before we stayed which we can hopefully get back, but having to do that as well as the fact we paid considerably more for a new hotel marred our lovely weekend away.
• T4814QXmeganr (2/5): Avoid!! Hotel no longer open - I had this hotel booked for the 18th of April for myself and my partner and it cost about €150. I chose this hotel because we had stayed here the previous year and had no issues. We had flew from Dublin to London early that morning, we then got buses and taxis to this hotel only to find no one there and the doors closed when we arrived. There was also post and wooden blocks up against the door with the lights on inside. The hotel had charged my card two days prior to our stay and had made no effort to try contact me to let me know that the hotel was closed and our stay would be cancelled. We were also attending a football match in Wembley and needed to drop off our bags as they’re not allowed in the stadium. After ringing the hotel multiple times and getting no answer we then contacted booking.com where we had made the reservation. They then told us we had to wait 40 minutes for either a response or no response from the hotel directly to them. After waiting the agreed amount of time we were told our booking was cancelled and the hotel was no longer open. We then had to book and pay for a new hotel and was told we would receive a refund in 7-12 business days. Although I have received this refund, this added extra taxis, buses and trains so we could attend the event on time, whilst also pushing our travel time back by around an hour/hour and a half by the time we had gotten answers and rebooked and travelled to our new hotel. I had this hotel booked since February, all it would’ve took was one phone call or email to let their guests know that they had closed down so we could’ve just used the money to book something else there and then. As a young couple in a different country not knowing our way around with no where to stay we weren’t impressed with how the hotel handled this situation.
• Nomad10179879899 (2/5): Avoid at all costs. Please read good reviews aswell as these. - Booked this hotel through booking.com. Arrived at 14:45 for check in at 15:00. Door locked. No notice on the door to say the hotel was closed. Called up booking.com who told us the hotel was closed. We received nothing from the hotel to say they were closed. Tried to call and no answer. Very poor experience.

I had family that also arrived from Canada. We were all attending a wedding, which we were late for due to having to find alternative accommodation. Hugely out of pocket also
• carolinedQ9883DG (2/5): Terrible - Arrived to check in after travelling to find lots of people waiting outside. Hotel was closed, didn’t contact guests or booking agents. So had to pay an extra £75 to find alternative hotel, very stressful and very unprofessional service to leave guests without a place to stay with no notice at all. No answering of phones or emails either.
• adamdU5913ED (2/5): Evacuated on day 2 - hotel isn't safe - Positive: Staff were polite and helpful. Negatives: Everything else. Hotel needs full refurb, extremely limited parking (4 spaces), busy street outside. We arrived to be told the night previous that a car had been smashed up within their parking overnight so instantly was anxious about leaving our car here. First night hardly slept due to dreadful mattress and pillows, and the fact soundproofing doesn't exist here, you can hear everything from other rooms and outside noise. Then 2nd day whilst we were exploring London, we received a message at 7pm to say return to the hotel immediately as they're vacating everyone. Turns out their electrics throughout aren't safe, a loud bang was heard in one of the rooms and they're closing as the whole hotel is a health and safety hazard. Never experienced such a thing before. And as I booked with hotel.com it's been a complete nightmare trying to sort out a refund as the hotel authorised relocation, which wasnt even viable. Seriously, book somewhere else.

• Hendra (8/5): West London 45mins from downtown - I quite like this hotel, even though it’s a tad far from the centre. I wasn’t in luck as Piccadily line was closed this weekend, so i had to take other tube lines after 15 mins walk to Ealing Broadway or Common. The open wifi was unstable but Seyyed the receptionist kindly fixed the issue. Room was very small, barely space to go to the shower room. Shower head has no hose. What’s with the rule of not allowing visitors in the room? Is this a sharia hotel?
• Sabina (7/5): - Trevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma. Vårt rum låg mot gatan som var väldigt trafikerad så hade svårt att sova men personalen var hjälpsam så vi fick byta rum sista natten, sen var sängarna korta och min son är 183cm och hans fötter hamnade utanför sängen. Sen var tyvärr restaurangen stängd så fanns ej frukost tillgängligt. Vilket var avgörande när jag bokade så blev en besvikelse.

• dbains2010 (2/5): No customer care, here! - Within one minute of making this booking, I realised that due to a delayed flight at Stansted Airport, we would not arrive before the hotel’s final check-in time. I immediately contacted the hotel to request a cancellation. Despite this being almost instantaneous and clearly outside of our control, the hotel refused to show any flexibility and charged the full amount. This booking was made very late at night, and given the timing, it is highly likely the room would have remained unoccupied regardless. Yet there was no attempt to consider the circumstances or apply any discretion. While they may point to their “policy,” policies are ultimately implemented by people. Customer service involves judgment and fairness — especially when a cancellation request is made within minutes. The decision to enforce the full charge in this situation felt unnecessarily rigid and disappointing. It gives the impression that revenue was prioritised over reasonable customer care. Very disappointing experience.

The temperature shower knob fell off midshower. We had no immediate heating, checked with hotel staff who proceeded to confirm that the hot air unit wasnt working so provided us with not 1 but 2 hot air heaters, whilst they warmed the room it didnt stay warm. The cleanliness of the room wasnt great, dust in places, paint falling off of the walls, dirty carpets etc The noise pollution was the worst part, loud hotel guests and road noise, whilst this is understandable being a city, double glazing windows could put a simple stop to this. The provided cups and spoons for coffee/tea were dirty too with old staines on/in them.

• James & Anna (7/5): Ein guter Preis zum New Years Eve - Nettes Hotel in Ealing. Die Zimmer waren okay, etwas abgewöhnt an der einen oder anderen Stelle, aber im Großen und Ganzen gut. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Silvesterabend hat man uns einen kleinen Rotwein ins Zimmer gestellt. 10 Minuten Laufweg nach Ealing Broadway. Direkt um die Ecke ein netter Pub, ein Café und Lebensmittelläden. Klimaanlage in einem unserer Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert. Das Problem schien bekannt zu sein, konnte aber auch nicht gelöst werden.

Importante fonte di sicurezza. - Camera, bagno e box doccia ampi e comodi. - Letto e cuscini estremamente comodi. - Spazio esterno di dimensioni generose considerando la città e i normali spazi abitativi. - Ampia TV a schermo piatto proprio di fronte il letto. - Molti armadietti disponibili all'interno della camere per riporre comodamente tutte le cose. - Molto comoda e gradita anche la presenza di una piccola cucinetta (non attrezzata, mancavano i fuochi) completa di frigorifero, lavello e fornetto a microonde. Nulla in particolare, forse la doccia chiusa "a metà" (non fatta a box per intenderci, ma chiusa con una lastra di vetro scorrevole) non è propriamente la soluzione più comoda, ma assolutamente niente di drammatico.

The only issue was that the underfloor heating in room 8 was not working so the AC was used to heat the room which wasn’t the best as it’s either hot or cold.

• 829emmat (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Before arriving and reading reviews I was more than apprehensive about our stay. However we were greeted by Syed, he was welcoming, informative and showed us to our room he got a 5/5 as did the blonde lady in reception (sorry I did not get her name). The room was compact, very clean, had literally everything you need, toiletries, coffee machine, kettle, iron, hairdryer, tv, additional heater. Towels were lovely white and fluffy. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. Yes it could do with a few tiles replacing and a lick of paint here and there, but we absolutely would stay again. Great location 😀.

The room although small was very clean and had everything and more that you would need for a short stay. It was very reasonably priced and we would stay again. • Asif (7/5): Overall a good stay and would go back again for convenience of location and car park space - Free parking space is a fantastic bonus but it is 1st come 1st serve basis. The tube station is 2 minutes walk away from the hotel along the picadilly line. The best thing about the hotel was the great staff especially Syed who always helpful and gave great advice for any recommendations. The hotel does require some aesthetical improvements but not a major issue. Our room did have a cold draught however a electric heater was provided in the room.
