- Joost Samsom (10/5): Heerlijk hotel in prachtige omgeving - Mooi oud pand strategisch gelegen tussen Bad Gastein en Sportgastein. Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Leuke gastvrije eigenaren, 's avonds eerlijke traditionele Oostenrijkse gerechten, uitgebreid ontbijt met eieren naar wens. Gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte met grote loungebanken en haardvuur, en Poolbiljart in naastgelegen ruimte. Gezellige bar. Slaapkamer ruim en rustig. Als ik dan toch wat mag zeggen: de matrassen kunnen wat mij betreft iets beter, waren voor mij iets te basic en een beetje zacht. Douche is lastig in te stellen op juiste temperatuur, en de druk is ietwat beperkt. Maar verder prima.

In a beautiful sylvan area surrounded by cliffs and mountains . Close to Bad Gastein but out of the hustle and bustle of the resort town . Elevator to room . Room 209 comfortable and bathroom clean . Comfortable bed and chairs . On-site snack bar had several excellent dinner choices and staff was very friendly . Several other good restaurants close by if desired . Breakfast not spectacular but pleasant and adequate . A tad pricey for the room and amenities.

- Veles (9/5): Superb - Charming old building set in the old village center is beatifully rennovated with great attention to details. Rooms are spotless clean, small but comfortable. Delightful breakfast with a very good food selection and quality. Friendly staff eager to help. The location of electrical sockets in the room is inconvenient. Would prefer a double mattress instead of two singles stuck together.
