• goldengramma (7/5): - Wonderfully close to Notre Dame cathedral so that my 84 year old husband could push my wheelchair there where we attended mass at noon on our last day. And close to some little cafes. We particularly enjoyed Le Petit Chatelet. Front desk happily made a reservation there for us. Unfortunately, to have a room with a shower to accommodate my walker and wheelchair our room did not have a view of the lovely St Severin across the street.

• Reinhard (8/5): - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Hervorragende Lage 5 Minuten von Notre Dame. RER zum Flughafen vor der Tür. Viele Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Das Zimmer (in den Innenhof orientiert) war sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war klein, für mich Einzelreisenden aber groß genug. Das Badezimmer ist ausreichend groß. Innenstadthotels mit dieser zentralen Lage wird man mit größeren Zimmern wahrscheinlich schwer finden.
• Barbara (10/5): I would definitely stay at this hotel again. - Great location in the 5th Ae. Many shops and brasseries, and only a short walk to Notre Dame. At the end of the week, I felt that this was “my neighborhood.” Staff there 24/7 and all very helpful. Elevator, clean, spacious room, nice breakfast. Street noise below my window with a Hop on Hop off bus stop below. However, I wasn’t there much during the day. No a/c until June but a fan was offered and took care of the temp as well as any street noise. So no complaints!

• victoria (10/5): Delightful boutique stay - should I keep this a secret? - Great location at Notre Dame precinct. Great for solo traveller. Balcony had unexpected glimpse view of Notre Dame towers! Staff (Pamela) exceptionally helpful when my plane was delayed to manage my restaurant booking. Breakfast simple but delightful and value for 8 E direct at hotel. Secure baggage minding after checkout. Nil. All excellent.

In my room I had a bathroom with a bath / shower . I enjoyed the bath. The aircon was not controlled by the room

It was pouring with rain and they - It was very well situated and in easy reach of lots of places/restaurants/shops etc The twin room we were in wasn’t really a twin room as both beds were side by side with no gap in between or bedside table. The breakfast room was really a corridor with staff walking past all the time while you were eating!

• Xin (7/5): Great location, walkable to many places. - The location was great, extremely near Notre dame and walkable to every near locations. Reception staff were so friendly and gracious. Hotel has a classic vibe to it. Perhaps it was because on pictures of rooms shown there were gorgeous scenery and perhaps I accidentally had high expectation of a good scenery. But unfortunately our room was at the back and there wasn't really a view except for the back of another room and small empty courtyard. Slightly pricey.

• ralf (8/5): Perfekt, wenn man 'mitten drin' sein möchte. - Wir lieben dieses Hotel. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich gut, nah dran an vielen wichtigen Attraktionen Paris. Die Anbindung an 'RER' und Metro könnte besser nicht sein. Hunderte von - teils guten - Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen, Notre Dame und die Seine quasi 'vor der Haustür'. Aus der oberen Etage kann man jeden Abend den Eifelturm blitzen sehen. Das Zimmer hatte einen Safe und einen Kühlschrank, was mir sehr wichtig ist. Die Abflüsse der Waschbecken waren anfangs verstopft, der Mangel wurde aber schnell behoben. Ein Handtuch war nicht sauber, hatte noch Make-Up-Flecken. Anfangs kein Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, wurde aber nach ein paar Tagen nachgefüllt. Alles in Allem keine ernsthaften Mängel, nur Kleinigkeiten.

A very expensive two-hour stay My husband and I booked this hotel very deliberately for a 6 day anniversary stay in Paris and had been looking forward to it for a long time. Instead, after roughly two hours in the room on our first evening, both of us had developed multiple fresh bites consistent with bedbug exposure and could not remain there. We reported the issue immediately to the friendly receptionist and in writing to Booking.com who never responded. The hotel was quick to suggest another property, but it was in a different arrondissement and not comparable to the stay we had carefully planned. So later that evening we were left searching last-minute for a suitable nearby hotel by ourselves, dragging with our luggage across rainy crowded Paris. What followed was the most disappointing part. We were later told that the hotel’s own internal check found no insects in the room, case closed. As bedbugs are notoriously difficult to detect, and no independent professional third-party report was ever shown to us, this did not resolve the issue for us. Good we’d made some photos of the bed bug damage ourselves. Eventually only some small hotel city tax was refunded; the room charge for our four unused nights was kept by the hotel, even though we had only been in the infested room for about two hours. We later noticed an earlier public Booking review also mentioning bedbugs at this property, which made the experience even more concerning. We are leaving this review to help fellow travellers — especially couples planning a romantic weekend in Paris — avoid seeing a long-awaited stay unravel in the same way. Where we expected hospitality, we received Henri IV management’s hostility.

• Gitte Marie (8/5): Det Aller fedeste er beliggenheden og der var ingen pjat fra personalet og det var hyggeligt og rent og bare så Parisisk - Beliggenheden er SUPER og sengen er god og skøn udsigt til Eiffel tårnet og til høre Notre Dame Lidt for lille værelse - morgenmaden kunne virkelig godt opgraderes det er en tynd kop te og meget lille udvalg - men vi spiste der stort set hver morgen alligevel og fandt ud af at det var OK og frem for alt nemt

Ma chambre était très spacieuse. L'hôtel offre un choix de différents formules pour le petit déjeuner, soit une formule simple "express" (6€), soit un petit-déjeuner plus copieux.
