They had a frying pan but no utensils to use in it. There were very limited and mismatched dishes. There was no one available to ask for any missing things

• Jonas (8/5): - Geräumiges Apartment in einem schönen Viertel mit einigen Cafés und Restaurants. In der Nähe gibt es zwei Metro-Stationen, die in wenigen Minuten erreichbar sind. Das Haus liegt an einer großen Straße. Einige Apartments liegen auf der Seite zur Straße, einige auch nach hinten in den Hinterhof. Im Hinterhof ist es ruhig und man hört die Straße nicht. Es gibt keine Rezeption. Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern erfolgt über eine Sprechanlage, der Check-in geht über einen Bildschirm. Das Apartment verfügt über eine Küche, bei uns hat der Kühlschrank allerdings leider nicht funktioniert. Außerdem gibt es ein Wohn- und Esszimmer, Balkon oder Terrasse, zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Bad. Insgesamt ist das Apartment ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber in einem guten Zustand. Positiv: Großes Apartment, gute Lage, Supermarkt, Cafés, Restaurants und Metro in der Nähe. Im Hinterhof ist es ruhig. Negativ: in unserem Fall war der Kühlschrank leider defekt, daher konnten wir die Lebensmittel nicht kühlen. Sonst ist die Küche auch eher mittelmäßig ausgestattet Insgesamt und abgesehen von den genannten Nachteilen würde ich das Apartment aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da die Vorteile überwiegen

• Verified traveler (8/5): No Front Desk - The check in information we received through Hotels was wrong. In the listing and our booking information it said that the front desk was staffed from 13:00 until 19:00. When we arrived at 14:00 there was a sign on the door that said the front desk is open from 9:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 19:00. Truly there is no front desk. There is an intercom that you use to talk to someone and they instructed you how to do a self check in which you need your booking number for. Your booking number is not your Hotels booking number it is different so I would recommend contacting the hotel after you do your booking and asking them for your booking number. If you do need help checking in or with anything you can call the front desk or WhatsApp them and they will send someone over from another building. Room could be cleaner there was mold in the shower.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great apartment and close to Metro station - Everything about this apartment is great except issues with check-in. Check-in was done through a machine located at the lobby. We did not have the reference number the machine asked for, so we had to call in to the property management for help. Also the scanner of the machine did not work and could not scan our passport info. We ended up manually typing in all of my passport info and that of my husband’s. Other than check-in, the apartment was great, clean and comfortable. The location is also convenient, a few minutes of walking to the metro station that will bring you to anywhere you want to go. Several grocery stores and markets were also nearby. Cafes, bakeries are all in walking distance. The apartment presents a great value for the money. We enjoyed our stay.

• yi (6/5): - We have 4 people and rent a 2-bedroom apartment for 4 nights. We received 3 small rolls of toilet paper. We asked for an additional one on the last day, but it was rejected. The explanation is they only provide additional paper for those who rent more than 5 days.
• Shyam (4/5): - Extreme "No Frills" experience. It is an apartment complex. Mostly quiet and within a km of La Sagrada Familia. Neighbor hood appears safe with convenience stores and food places nearby. The issue is total experience vs. cost. The apartment is reasonably spacious with ONE bathroom. We couldn't get any content on the TV. We ignored it because we were mostly outdoors. Internet was VERY slow and unstable. It was only available in the living room. Could only support one or two devices at a time. There was no cleaning service, including taking out the trash for the entire duration of the stay. Even though the Expedia listing mentioned laundry facilities, we couldn't find them. No laundry within the apartment. If there was a laundromat in the building, we could not find it. Pillows were extremely thin and there were no extra pillows to compensate. Overall, this was a bare minimum experience. I am left with the impression that I should have picked a hotel instead of this apartment.

• francish2018 (6/5): Good accommodation but we had access problems - Once we gained access, we were satisfied with the accommodation. It is in a good location. about 20 minutes' walk from Sagrada Familia and close to metro stations. There are two bedrooms, a good bathroom and a fairly spacious sitting-cum-dining area with a small balcony. Also a kitchen area with fridge etc. The access problem was caused by a fierce machine in the hallway which demanded all sorts of quite unnecessary details before it would yield up a keycard. In the end, we had to ring an emergency number to obtain a temporary one.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not recommended - Not recommended. The internet connection is literally non-existent, you can't even load a general web site, a simple search on google flights takes forever. Forget any work that you planned to do. I called the number provided for such purposes, listened to some nonsense about a router in a building, the essence of the response was "we won't do anything". It is a place run as cheaply as one can get away with. You communicate with a check-in machine and if anything goes wrong you are stuck waiting for someone to respond to you via an intercom machine on a wall who knows from where. If you are into these things - OK, but in all other cases stay in a place with some human interaction and an actually functioning Internet.

• Becka01 (10/5): Clean spacious and cracking shower 😃 - Fabulous! It is a bit of a walk from las ramblas etc (approx 45 mins) but staff are great. We we’re concerned as a woman came in our room twice using a key looking for ‘Jordan’ so we locked the door from the inside and the young man on reception gave us a new Set of keys. The room is very clean, and fairly Modern. I would say that the beds are very hard so we did struggle sleeping on them. Kettle was in the room and a hairdryer too and a bottle of water. There’s a few shops and bakeries locally too. The Syrian restaurant approx 100 metres away I would highly recommend too. The food is fantastic and we Used them several times and brought the food back to the apartment. Taxi from the air port was €43 and returning early morning was €34 and we hailed One very quickly. I would stay here again!
• KevinTraveller (4/5): Apartment was ok. No staff available - I got to the hotel at 11pm and was given a temporary key to check in. My key expired in the morning so I came down to the reception, in the morning, to get another key. There was no one at the reception and now I could not get back in to my room. I contacted the intercom and was told that someone will be able to let me in in 3 hours time, so I was locked out of my room for the next 3 hours and I needed to be in the room! So, i was paying for a room that I could not even use. I managed to get access eventually, but this was very frustrating as I was only at the hotel for 2 nights and I lost a lot of access to the room because no staff were available to help. I have tried to contact the hotel for a partial refund but they are not happy with that idea.

Volevamocambiarecamera, ma le strutture proposte erano lontane. Abbiamo pagato a nostre spese la sera in albergo vicino. Il giorno dopo ci hanno dato un'altra camera assecondo piano.

• Toshi (8/5): - ロビー、カウンターがなく人が常駐していない。チェックインが機械に入力する形なので分かりにくく、パスポート情報を全て手入力する必要があるので、面倒。（恐らく日本のパスポートだったため手入力が必要で、ヨーロッパのものだと自動読取と思われる） チェックイン完了後、カードキーが機械の横から出てくるが、これも非常にわかりにくい。これらの情報は予約前に分かるようにするか、少なくとも予約後にメール等で連絡してほしい。 部屋の設備としては冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、コンロ、湯沸かしポットもあって非常に良い。
• Ana (2/5): - The air conditioning didnt work the whole time. Its was 27 degress... there were issues with bothe check in system and the lack.of communication from staff. He didnt tell us what was going on. We waited an hour to check in. But worst of all is that we were locked out of tje budiling at 4am because the door electrinc system stopped working. It took over an hour for someone to come let us in, no appologies and to top it off he said this had been happening for a few months now.... so then fix it!!! Not worth the money, not in a good location and the service was dreadful.
• DMITRIY (10/5): Хорошие аппартаменты - Начну с минусов - это отсутствие интернета (он вроде и есть, но его полностью нет!!!, даже не расчитывайте!!! ), телевизор действительно очень маленький, но он вам и не понадобится (TV на русском разумеется нет), стиралки, СВЧ и тостера тоже нет, из посуды две сковороды небольшие и одна кастрюля тоже не большая (всего остального полно (чашки, ложки, тарелки и т.д.)). Теперь плюсы: местоположение хорошее, удобно добираться как до пляжа (минут 30-40 пешком или на автобусе) так и до центра (минут 8 на метро), ночные автобусы практически до дома. Квартира очень большая, уютная. Офигенный климат-контроль (выставляете сами любую температуру, охлаждает отлично). Нам достались аппартаменты на 1 этаже с огромной лоджией, но там только небольшой стол и два стула. Рядом с домом Меркадонна и Диа, кафе не много. Были проблемы при заселении с чудо-автоматом, без помощи русскоговорящего представителя ключи получить не смогли ( не проходила оплата картой), такая ситуация со всеми русскими картами как мы выяснили у соседей, но это особо не проблема рускоговорящий представитель ежедневно с 11 до 14 и с 16 до 19, если не ошибаюсь. Рядом с автоматом висит телефон, знаете английский то вообще никаких проблем. В целом советую всем за такие деньги, и отсутствие знания языка не проблема

• iangT6372RS (8/5): Excellent location, basic needs - The apartments are in a great location with a main station across the road. It is about a 25 minute walk to the marina but easy enough to get to everywhere by metro. The Balcony is nice and it is very peaceful all the time. The shower and bathroom are very nice. The place is very spacious, enough for a family but the only downfall was that the beds weren't very comfortable. Besides this, the apartments tick all the boxes.
• missmaz133 (6/5): Simple Apartments with Kitchen and Balcony - Our apartments were booked through a Hen Company but were provided with 3 rooms (2 x 4 Person (Rooms 1.2 & 4.2) & 1 x 3 Person (Room 1.1)) Room 1.2 had a huge balcony as it was effectivly a ground floor apartment at the back of the building The booking.com pictures don't do this place justice. Don't get me wrong its not 5 star but I was half dreading going to the apartments but they were exactly what we needed. The rooms are simple but spacious. There were 8 of us in total using the rooms. The 4 person rooms had a double bedroom and a twin room, the 3 person room was a double bedroom and a single bedroom. Kitchen was small but useable. Large Fridge and multiple cupboards. Basics in utensils and crockery. We only used the fridge and the kettle. The coffee cups are TINY, almost thimble sized. There were no toiletries provided apart from toilet roll and handsoap. Towels were provided, hair dryer & bed linen. There is no safe. To get in the building you'll need to ring the bell on the wall and they'll buzz you in. To check in you'll need your reference number and check in via a computer in the hall way. During the check in they'll ask for 9.92Euros per person or per couple. Plus some personal details and passport/id scan. Once completed you'll get your room key and can find your room. To check out leave you key in the box. If you use the phone by the computer you can contact support and they'll put your bags somewhere safe for you. So you can still travel and see the city until your departure. its about a 15 min walk to Sagarda Famillia. We used Taxi's a lot during our stay and generally managed to flag one down within a few mins of leaving the apartment.

Телевизор маловат с небольшим количеством каналов, флэш в него не вставить... Из заявленных “Бесплатные туалетные принадлежности» - только начатое наполовину жидкое мыло на раковине. Неправильно указали адрес для регистрации, чтобы получить доступ в апартаменты... Регистрация через терминал. Вообщем, апартаменты понравились.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Difícil acceso sin información previa - Para acceder al edificio de apartamentos se necesita un código para abrir la puerta de entrada al vestíbulo y allí se realiza el autocheck in a través de una máquina que te genera la tarjeta para abrir el apartamento. Si no te avisan previamente al hacer la reserva es complicado porque no hay conserje y hay que llamarlo por teléfono para que venga y te abra la puerta del edificio. Ojo con llegadas nocturnas! Por lo demás apartamento amplio y confortable.
• Steve (8/5): All good if you can get in! - Only book this apartment if you are arriving early, if 4 german guys hadnt let us in we would have gone somewhere else, or had to sleep in the street. No concierge service after a certain time, when we got in all was good, roomy, clean, balcony and quieter area of barcelona with good transport links.

• Anya (6/5): Nice apartment, but a lot of kinks to work through - So first off, the good: 1) The apartment is decently situated next to both the regional rail and the metro though not in the city center 2) The apartment was spacious and generally clean and in good condition However, we encountered several issues with the apartment: first off, there is no concierge and you can only get help (either to check in or to get paper goods for the apartment) at very limited hours. This was annoying when you realized that you had to plan in advance to get toilet paper or to check someone in 2) The check in system is ATROCIOUS. It is difficult to use and the instructions are not sent far enough in advance to be useful for people who are traveling internationally and may not have data access. We had 3 travelers (very clear on the reservation), and we found out that we could not get a key for the 3rd traveler from the check in machine or anyone else, so she had to wait an hour just to be let into the building after a long flight and then could not even enter our apartment. This was very inconvenient and greatly impacted our stay. 3) There is a TON of construction noise from neighboring apartments that started at 9 AM for us. All in all, I definitely would not stay at Suites Arago anytime soon.

• Uidong (10/5): 넓고 편안한 아파트 - 늦은 시간에 체크인 하다보니 직원이 없어서 자동체크인 기계를 이용해야 했습니다. 여권 준비하셔야 하고, 신용카드, 카드 비밀번호도 준비하셔야 합니다. 아파트는 방 2개에 널찍한 거실도 있어서 지내기 편안했습니다. 한국음식을 해 먹기 위한 도구가 없는 것들이 있어서 좀 불편했고(예를 들어 젓가락, 국그릇 등), 비누 샴푸 이런것 없으니 따로 준비하셔야 합니다. 그리고 청소는 일주일에 한번만 해 주는 것도 알고 가셔야 합니다. 청소는 하루에 10유로 내면 해 준다고는 하더군요. 청소를 일주일에 한 번 해 주니까 수건도 막 쓰시면 안 되죠. 큰 거 2개, 작은거 2개 있었습니다. 크리넥스 휴지도 없었네요. 이런 사소한 불편함은 인근에 있는 슈퍼에서 구비하거나 미리 준비를 해 가면 되는거고, 전체적으로 매우 만족했습니다. 와이파이도 잘 됐고 버스 지하철역도 5분거리에 다 있습니다. 호텔보다 가격도 저렴하고 좋았습니다. 바르셀로나 다시 가면 재방문 의사 있습니다.

Check in process was very difficult .We had to make call from our international number to get the door open . Description of the place says it has laundry but there was no onsite laundry .They don't give you extra towels free of charge before 5 days . Toiletries means only hand soap .There is dishwasher but no soap for it .

• MARK (8/5): Nice apartment out of the city centre - Apartment was comfortable and located near to the metro line so only a few stops and you are in the city or at the beach. Not a great deal of restaurants around, however El Clot was good for a meal or to watch the soccer.
• Ray Taylor (8/5): good value for Barcelona but a few caveats - OK if you are resourceful on your own, as service is non existent. Be sure to email the management before you arrive as they do not send you the instructions for the automated checkin. Apartment was very nice and modern and quiet for Barcelona (in the residential quarter). Kitchen missing a few amenities, however there are many grocery stores nearby including a giant Carrefour to get what you need. Comfort was a bit lacking. the King Size bed was 2 small beds pushed together and the mattress was way too hard (papa bears only). 20 minute walk to the better beach and the Sagrada Familia. a short walk to the hop on hop off tour bus which is recommended. 15 minutes downtown via the commuter train.

• Prabhash Kumar (10/5): Worth the money and good location - The checkin process is fully automated with multilingual options, anyone with some basic computer knowledge should be able to handle the process. The major tourist attraction 'Sagrada familia' is few blocks away (1 Km). The best part is connectivity of this place with City center 'Cataluyna' by Metro which is 200 mtr. and to Airport by Train & Metro. I liked it very much.

Would recommend for 2 people or more as rooms adequate size ... Ok for cooking too but surely a teatowel would be handy and not much to ask for...
• Verified traveler (8/5): 5 Night Stay - When we arrived we were unable to get into the building because there is no reception. We had to go find a pay phone to call up and get a code for the front door. This was a hassle but possibly my own fault for not checking my emails or apartment info before arriving. Once I gained access to the building everything was great. Clean, spacious, secure, quiet (our apartment was at the back not facing the road). No real complaints. Could potentially do with a few more cooking utensils but apart from that everything was good.

I'm so impressed with the overall value of Suites Arago 565 that I'd recommend it. If you need a scrupulously clean 2-bedroom apartment with a modern bathroom and very comfortable beds, close to 2 Metro stations, 2.2 miles from Barcelona's city center, but don't need any concierge services or amenities, and don't mind that it is in a non-touristy and working neighborhood (no convenient shops around and dead after dark), then you'll appreciate its value as much as I do. It's a nice deal for a family of 4 people. It does have an odd check-in: you ring the door bell, and someone answers and makes you wait for 15 minutes for them to come to check you in. Make sure you can actually log on wifi before you let them leave, otherwise you'll have to call them back and then wait another 15 minutes before they can get there.
• Cathy (8/5): Three good nights - Good value; clean, spacious rooms with modern fixtures. A/C worked well, kitchen with some dishes and cookware, big frig, dishwasher, no microwave. Automated check-in was not smooth as no one was available to inform us of the complicated parking situation for a few hours. N'hood a bit sketchy, lots of traffic noise, easy walk to Clot train station, walk to Sagrada Familia, walk to big flea market.
• Adam (8/5): Decent apartment, lacking facilities. - The apartment was comfortable and situated in a great location (close to a useful metro/rail station). The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were modern and clean and relatively well-equipped. However, when we arrived we found two bags of rubbish in a cupboard which must have been left there for a while; this caused the room to smell. Also the 'laundry facility' turned out to be a pay-to-use service, rather than a washing machine in the apartment. The pay-to-use service was very expensive and so we were forced to take our clothes to the laundrette which wasted a lot of our time. All-in-all I enjoyed the stay, but for the price I think that there should have been a washing machine provided.

• Rosalind (8/5): Barcelona trip made easier - We spent 2 nights here and am sorry we didnt stay here when we returned to barcelona a week later. A comfortable apartment with separate bedroom. Close to sagrada familia and public transport. Supermarket around the corner. Automated check in a first for us but went smoothly. Wifi didnt start up until second day for some reason. Area was quiet and we enjoyed our stay here.
• lesliemyboy.... (10/5): Surprisingly we had a great stay, perfect location - The location and staff were great and we really have no hesitation in recommending this hotel....Remeber you get what you pay for and this was really great value.
• Drew Mendelson (10/5): Lovely, comfortable stay in central Barcelona - This isa small 2BR apartment, very comfortable and scrupulously clean, with a functional kitchen. It is in central Barcelona near many small restaurants and half an hour's walk to the old city. The room was affordable, and a good deal for the price. You will have to get used to the fact that check-in is entirely automated. No front desk, no desk clerk. You don't speak with any human. There is a check-in terminal where your room keys are issued. On site parking but the parking charge is extra. One note: Restaurant food is very expensive in Barcelona, so make use of the room's kitchen to save money.
• CC (8/5): Arago - We had a very modern two bedroom flat with all mod cons. Not far from a tube station. There is a charge for the internet.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Spacious apartment, convenient location - The staff was helpful, the room was spacious and well equiped. The location was a great launching point for sight seeing.
• Linda (10/5): Great Apartment - Only problem was that it was a locked facility and we did not know that coming in. We had to wait outside about 1/2 hour now knowing if we were really getting in or not. Lovely man at reception. Reservations said we could get in at 12 when in reality it is 2 PM. We were, however, able to get to our room even though the maid was still cleaning. Very accomodating to our needs to have a place to sit while the maid cleaned. A bit away from everything but very, very nice accomodations for a group of 3 needing two bedrooms. Would stay there again.
• V (10/5): Excellent Secure Self Catering Apartment Handy for Sagrada Familia - I think the title sums it up. Our only reservation about the apartments was that they were on a five-lane one way highway and the traffic noise was a significant distraction. We had to close the windows and use air-conditioning to keep the noise level down.
