• Maria (10/5): Lovely - Absolutely lovely the lady running the place. Very friendly, cordial and helpful by giving basic information of the city. And as a fan of Dante, the details are a thoughtful touch
• Ivan (10/5): Firenze stroll - This hotel was very good, within 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and Cathedral. Spacious room with over 12 foot high ceiling, very clean as well as the bathroom. Mina was excellent host, friendly and offered recommendations. Plentiful breakfast! The only downside for us was parking, the one next to this hotel was expensive. There’s one about 10 minutes walk away but we had too many bags to be walking around with it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very ok. - The room was ok, the AC did work. The elevator was challenging. There was a very strange, unpleasant smell emanating from the bathroom and occasionally very loud noises from the plumbing. Room could have used a fridge and a small table to eat.
• Reiko (10/5): - ドゥオモから一本道で徒歩15分の所にあるB＆Bです。サンマルコ美術館が途中にあるので、人が少ない朝一の時間に立ち寄ることもできます。5月は夜8時ころまで明るいし、観光地で人が常にいるので、安全でした。21時以降は出歩かなかったため、それ以上遅い時間の治安はわかりませんが、人の声は聞こえていたので人通りはあるようです。 宿の奥さんはにこやかで大変親切な方です。こちらはつたない英語でしたが、向き合ってくださり、コミュニケーションはしっかりとれました。トラットリアの予約をお願いしたところ、他にもおすすめのお店を教えてくださいました。そのお店は店員さんが親切で、実際のメニューと私が見せた写真が違ったのですが、それが食べたいならそうしてあげる！と写真に寄せてアレンジしてくれて、とてもいいお店でした。他にも奥さんが勧めてくださった近くの教会も素晴らしかったです。娘さんもキュートで親切です。 チェックインは14時からですが荷物預かりしてくださいます。入り口を入るとＢ＆Ｂの受付は2階だと案内表示がありますが、ヨーロッパは日本でいうところの1階が０階（ground floor）なので、実際の受付は日本式で3階にあります。到着時はスーツケースを持って３階まで階段で上りました。帰国時は荷物が重くてどうなることかと思いましたが、エレベーターを使わせてくださいました（専用のカギがあって通常自由には使えないようです）。 部屋にはシャンプー、石鹸、ドライヤー、電気ポット、ティーカップがあり、冷蔵庫はありません。ティーカップは一人部屋でも２客あり、日に日に補充が減っていって、そのうちティーカップなくなっちゃいましたが、そういう点も含めて愛らしくて気に入ってました（言えばくれます）。イタリアはＢ＆Ｂでもシャワーが途中で水に変わると聞いていてドキドキしていたのですが、こちらは安定してお湯が出ました。大満足です。 朝食はバールで取りたかったためExpediaの申し込み時にはつけなかったのですが、一日だけ現地でプラスしました。他の方のレビューにもあるように種類も豊富でおいしかったです。カプチーノもバールと遜色ないクオリティでした。時間は7:30-10:30とのことでしたが、こちらの都合に合わせて時間のアレンジにも対応してくださいました。 イタリアはスーパーにもレストランにも犬がいて、次回はぜひ犬と一緒に行きたいと思っているのですが、こちらのB＆Bはペット不可です。もし人間だけで再訪したら、またこちらのB＆Bにお世話になりたいと思っています。

• Andrea (10/5): Un'ottima scelta - Il B&B si trova davvero a pochi passi dal centro, la struttura non è modernissima ma confortevole e pulita. La signora gentilissima e disponibile. Mi ha favorevolmente stupito la colazione, che normalmente nei B&B è ridotta all'osso, e invece qui prevede sia dolce che salato, macedonia fresca e un buon cappuccino. Il parcheggio a pagamento si trova a 10 minuti di strada a piedi, ma è lo scotto da pagare per risiedere nel centro storico. In generale: ottima scelta.
• Mohammad (6/5): - The receptionist was very nice and friendly and the place was relatively close to the historical places. What we didn’t like was the condition of the room and the amenities, there was a very bad smell in the toilet. Another annoying thing was a weird loud noise we heard quite often in the toilet which we later found out that was related to the sewage system.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Bene ma non benissimo - Struttura carina, posizione comoda per raggiungere il centro in 15/20 minuti a piedi. Importante: è in ZTL! Fare attenzione! Non ha un parcheggio proprio, consiglio di parcheggiare in autorimesse poco diatanti e raggiungere il b&b a piedi. Stanza pulita ma con tendaggi ed elementi in velluto che a mio gusto non danno l'idea di "freschezza". Stanza della colazione piccola e con tavoli un po' troppo vicini, di questi tempi con il covid non è il massimo...buffet minimo ma esaustivo. Tutto sommato la mia esperienza in questa struttura è stata positiva!

• Barbara (10/5): Best yet - This is a great place one side of the floor is dedicated to Beatrice the other side to Dante I stayed in the Brunetto Latini room. A nice big room, desk, wardrobe, and electric pot. Breakfast was plentiful basics were the same but something new each day a + if your staying more than a couple of days. Mina was fantastic she might seem gruff but its her frustration with English. She worked hard morning to night to keep things clean. Elevator is slow, but better than walking up two flights. I've been to Florence 3 times. This was the best yet this is where i will stay on my return. Thank you Mina for all your hard work. I walked every where from this location. Number 1 bus from train station almost takes you to front door.
• ROGER (4/5): - Emplacement idéale à 5mn à pied des musées à visiter.Ne venez pas à Florence en voiture c'est pire que Paris. L'accueil est assez mitigé manque de convivialité, par contre le lit est super confortable. Les chambres sont au 2ieme étage un monte charge pas du tout engageant si vous êtes chargé vous pouvez toujours le prendre mais il faut avoir le doigt appuyé sur le bouton sinon ça ne marche pas.Pour une nuit o.k mais pas plus longtemps.

Tem que ficar apertando o botão até ele chegar no andar que você está. E demora muito. Acabei subindo com as malas sozinha pela escada. Quando você está dentro do elevador, também tem que apertar o botão até que ele chegue no andar desejado. Se soltar ele para. Conclusão: o táxi solicitado chegou antes do elevador descer as malas. E o taxista cobrou uma multa por esperar.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Joli B&B idéalement situé dans Florence : il est à qq minutes à pied du centre. Possibilité de garer sa voiture pour 25 euros pendant 24h. De plus la personne du B&B est très arrangeante et garde les valises le matin. Le petit dejeuner est très bien. Enfin l'accueil est parfait : à notre arrivée la personne nous a fourni un plan et des explications en francais sur les choses à voir dans Florence. Petit bémol : le sanibroyeur dans la salle de bain.
• Stuart (10/5): Great location kind staff - The room was very clean and comfortable. Even though we were much later arriving than expected (3.5 hours getting through FCO) the lady who checked us in was very kind and forgiving. We just made sure to call at let her know we were going to be later. Location is great, only a few blocks away from David and walking distance to everything you need to see in Athens historic centre of Florence!! Breakfast was good with lots of variety and American coffee if you don’t want espresso.
• Louis (8/5): Comfortable stay in Rome - Our room the Latini is pretty quiet. The breakfast is adequate, with cereals, yogert, tea, coffee, milk, juice, ham, cheese, bread, some veggies like cherry tomatoes or cucumbers, some fruits, and eggs for some days. The queen bed is quite comfortable and is not saggy in the middle. The breakfast room can be full at prime time but we did not experience any problems as most guests finish breakfast pretty quickly. It is a renovated building not far from the historic city center. We find it a good value for what we are looking for.
• Pearl (8/5): Good value - This b&b is a renovated older house, not your modern boutique guesthouse but our room is reasonably maintained and a little more spacious than average. It is located about 15 minutes walk to the duomo and about 5 minutes walk to the Academia. The bus stop to and from the train station is not far. The bed is very comfortable. The elevator worked when we checked in and checked out with our luggage, but a few times when we went back at night we could not get it to work. Walking up two flights of stairs is no big problem though without luggage. The two lady hostesses were pretty helpful. The room had one chair when we checked in and we asked for a second chair which we got immediately. We are satisfied with our stay at Dante & Beatrice.

• Deena (6/5): It was ok - Location is great and the lady that greets you is very pleasant and gives you a map of all the popular tourist attractions (there is a bit of a language barrier there though). The room is spacious. The bed isn't bad but the pillows aren't the best with no extras in the closet if needed (they were needed). The Wi-Fi connection wasn't the greatest but oh well. Breakfast was nice! It was cold out so thankfully the a.c. wasn't desperately needed but the room did get a bit stuffy sometimes. We would open the window but couldn't leave it open the whole time bc we were over the street and it would get a little loud. I would say the biggest negative was the bathroom. While it did offer nice, warm water, It smelled BAD. Like sewer in the bathroom. Also every time you or anyone used any water a loud grinding sound would go on and off the whole time. It was strange. So overall the stay was ok. Probably wouldn't stay again though.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice little hotel in Florence - The hotel was great for this price point. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was not gourmet but nice enough to get the day started. The staff were very helpful. The only problem we had was with trying to contact staff late at night for a plumbing issue. But everything was taken care of by the staff when we were able to get in touch with them.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff at B&B Dante e Beatrice were lovely and accommodated to our needs without hesitation. These apartments are only a 15-20 minute walk/bus ride from the heart of the city. The rooms have everything required for a short stay and the facilities were clean.
• Shevy (10/5): Wonderful cosy B&B - Staff were consistently courteous and warm, breakfast was lovely with a wide range of options and coffee, cappuccino etc made to order. Rooms were immaculately clean, comfortable with air-conditioning working well. Very reasonably priced, considering the central location, which was relatively quiet despite only being around 10 mins from the Duomo. Only complaint would be that the room sometimes smelt of drains, but apparently Italian drains aren't very good so nothing could really be done about that!
• Verified traveler (6/5): Decent place near center but not great for car - It is a nice little family-run B&B with all its short-comings. Rooms were OK, breakfast was good. Within walking distance of the historic parts of Florence. It is a good option for a few day visit of the city. If you have a car, they will park it for you in a garage nearby. But you have to wait for someone from the garage to pick up the car while waiting essentially in a place you are not allowed to park/wait. And that service costs ~€25.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Unhappy - We traveled with a couple. Both rooms were non-smoking rooms but apparently the previous renters had smoked in one of them so they switched to another room. The toilets we're noisy which was bearable but both bathrooms had a sewer smell that would come and go which made it very unpleasant to say the least. We were very happy to leave. Also, when I came back from the room being cleaned the cleaning lady had put my curling iron cord in the bidet, that was a welcome site.
• pauline (6/5): Golden girls - Difficult to reach anyone, when we arrived no one to help us work code for front door. Lift was terrifying. We had to keep finger on the button to keep lift moving. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Location was good.
• Alan (10/5): Friendly bed and breakfast near to the sites - Really friendly staff. Convenient for sites and buses to other areas from Piazza San Marco. Excellent breakfast sets you up for the day.
• Christine (10/5): - Excellent little B & B a sort walk from the centre of Florence. The best value for money - in fact it was so reasonable I was worried that it would be below standard but we were thrilled with everything. There is a very small lift and all the rooms are on the 2nd floor so you need to be quite fit. If you can ask for a room at the back as the bins are emptied very early in the mornings. There is double glazing but we preferred fresh air, however, this will be a problem with most hotels in Florence!

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything was actually quite good except for the bathroom. As others have indicated, the toilet system is quite loud at random times and vents a pretty bad smell. Unfortunately, that one issue somewhat sours the experience. The hostess, Mina, was very friendly though there were difficulties (understandably) with communication at times.
• Ronnie (8/5): Lovely B & B, Central Location and Nice Staff - This is a great B & B, the lady running the place was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and it's close to the centre. The B & B is located in a residential building a couple of floors up.
• Calum R (8/5): Not bad - Washroom smelt terrible!!! Like sewage...every time you ran the water it would make a constant loud sound and was annoying. Staff was excellent and helpful.
• Gordon & Clare (8/5): good quality B & B with a lovely host - Used as base for touring Florence. 15 minute walk to the Duomo so no problem. €18 from rail station in a cab. Walked to the station in 20 minutes when we left. Nice B & B with lovely host - Mina, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast typical - cereals, fruit salad, cooked meats etc plain but plenty adequate. Drawbacks.aircon very noisy and wifi very frustrating, only worked properly in dining room. All in all a good stay. Would recommend :)

• Massimo (6/5): Nice staying - Only downside was the hotel didn't have a parking spot that we've had to pay additional euros for it; there a fix camera in the street where the hotel is located that take pictures of cars and send fines at home because that street is restricted traffic area, only for residents, the guy that took our car from the parking business said they will take the fine and not to worry for people that use their services, we will see.. room didn't have screens on the windows, got a foot chewed up by Mosquitos and air conditioners were not activated.. There was an extra tax on the staying, payable only in cash, that was a surprise too... the hotel itself was nice, friendly staff and nice location, but for same price I would have made a different choice, considering we were driving I would have stayed outside of the city, very challenging city to drive into it.. I would still reccomend the hotel for people that would travel by train...
