Guest Reviews
- Jean-Pierre (3/5): -
- Walter (8/5): Nice - Location Lack or proper plugins

- Laurens (7/5): - It is very special that there is a hotel at 3750m altitude at a remote location. This may have to be taken into account.
We booked it for the experience, because we wanted to take the tren the las Nubes (Which was handy) and because it is situated on NR40 between the Salinas Grandes and Cachi (the NR40 is actually in a bad condition, better drive via Salta).
The rooms are specious and the beds are good.
The hotel (and San Antonio) has little ambiance but the people are friendly. We had 2 good local meals in the restaurant (we sleept there 2 nights) -
- Andreas (7/5): War ok. Aber Viel Geld für wenig Leistung. - Alles sauber.

- Nicolas (8/5): Precio internacional, calidad nacional...

- Natalia (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (7/5): Good -
- Carola (9/5): Superb - Super clean super personal and super quite Maybe a bit too expensive but its the only option
- Ran (7/5): Good - Reasonable hotel in nowhere... Extremely expensive for the value of the stay
- Bradley (7/5): Great for a one night stay if you need to be in the area - The property is a cozy little sanctuary in the mountains. The food was great at the in-hotel restaurant. Staff very friendly and welcoming. It’s a northern, isolated community so services are limited and more expensive, and it’s the only hotel for miles around (we were grateful to get there!) However the hotel could have been half the price it was given the service and finish level.
- Joan (8/5): Very good - Great location, just a short walk to the train station for el tren de los nubes. Friendly staff. Clean. Breakfast was sparse. Only one cup of coffee. No vegan options. Quite expensive for the standard but not much other accommodation in town.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (6/5): A decent, clean, no frills hotel - good for a night when touring Ruta 40 - Staff friendly, restaurant served good quality food & was reasonably priced. Hotel room price is high compared to other hotels in Northern Argentina. But it is the only hotel in the town so it can charge higher prices as there is no competition.
- Annaru (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - Location, clean rooms, dinner available in the evening Prices for the rooms quite high - no competition
- Matheus (8/5): Well located - Staff are good. Simple place, but comfortable Price are little bit high vs what the hotel offers
- Markus (5/5): We were there as it was the only place available - The structure is ok, no modernization or investment penalize our rating. Price / Quality ratio is poor. New bathrooms, furniture and bed sheets w/o holes!
- Mario (8/5): Good property to stay, almost the only one, close to train to the clouds. - Friendly staff, clean room, close to train to the clouds. Besides train to the Clouds there was not too much to see, town did not have lights to walk at night, several streets were close for construction.
The door had to be closed with the key, making it dificult for more than one person to lock the door leaving the other person locked until
You come back. … town seems to be safe so leaving the door unlocked may not be a great deal.
- Sam (7/5): Good - Great location and very helpful and friendly host AC unit was a bit noisy and some washing powder would be good
- Fernando (9/5): Superb -
- Edgardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marion (8/5): Very good - The apartment was big and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The price was too high for the value.
They washed our clothes but everything was wet when they gave it back...
- Fabiano (7/5): Good - It's a simple and OK hotel, the only one in town. Pick this one or nothing.
- Stefano (9/5): Best choice at San Antonio de Los Cobres! - San Antonio de Los Cobres is not a pretty place to visit, but our stay at Hotel de Las Nubles was great. We arrived exausted and it was so nice to find a clean, heated and comfortable room waiting for us. The shower was very good, the hotel has a good Restaurant so we did'nt have to go out again and everything was great. Next morning, breakfast was simple, but also very nice. I only have to thank the staff and say that Hotel de Las Nubes was the best choice that I could have made to stay at San Antonio de Los Cobres. The internet was not working very well. They had Netflix on the room, but we couldn't use it because of that.
