- Marie (8/5): Hôtel Catalonya Avinio - Emplacement idéal et central dans la vieille ville. Chambre petite mais propre et fonctionnelle. Salle du petit déjeuner au sous-sol vraiment minuscule par rapport à la capacité de l'hôtel, temps d'attente très long pour pouvoir y accéder faute de place. Le prix (19 euros) n'est pas du tout justifié
- Salvador-Moses (6/5): Great location and value - Location was great; right in the midst of the Gothic quarter next to many shops, restaurants, transportation, etc. The water in our bathroom did not work for half the time we were there. One day in the morning, the shower did not work for 3 hours. The next day for half a day. Front desk kept telling us it was going to resume working very shortly but it never did. I called and messaged them several times. Then it was blamed on the construction nearby. Finally I spoke to a hotel housekeeper who said there might be something non-functioning and she called front desk and at that point, they finally sent maintenance to work on the issue. Needless to say during the time the water was not flowing for most of the day, we had to use the facilities on the gym floor.

- Charles (9/5): Enjoyed our one night at Catalonia Avinyo - Hotel is in a good location in the Gothic quarter. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We were able to drop our bags after leaving our cruise and come back later when the rooms were ready. We had to walk about a block to either get or after being dropped by a taxi. Rooms are comfortable, simply furnished, bed was very comfortable. Rooms were supposed to be ready at 3 PM, was more like 3:30. Shower was a little battered. A little bit of street noise from the people watching football in the bar across the street.

- Jorge (9/5): Large Room with comfortable bed. - The room was big and the bed large and comfortable. It was quite and allowed us a good night's sleep. We had a mini fridge which was nice. There was plenty of space to hand up things in the closet. We would have liked to have a bidet as most of the other places in Europe we stayed had. The water from the shower head leaked out onto the floor and made it slippery. It should be angled down more.

- Eva (7/5): Schöne Tage, schlechte Nächte! - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt und man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Ein kleiner Pool lädt zum Baden ein, leider war es bei uns zu kalt und regnerisch! Unser Zimmer war zum Innenhof und das Fenster liess sich nicht öffnen, keine frische Luft! Die Klimaanlage hat unangenehme Gerüche verbreitet, war also auch keine Alternative! Wir haben schlecht geschlafen!!! Beim nächsten Mal würde ich ein Zimmer mit Fenster fordern, so wie auf den Bildern dargestellt!

- Sophie (4/5): Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt - Absolute topligging Hygiëne laat te wensen over: badkamervloer lag nog bezaaid met haren. De klink van onze kamer brak regelmatig af, werd niet hersteld (nochtans maar een vijsje om in te draaien). Kamer rook muf, maar dat is niet verwonderlijk als er geen ramen zijn die de buitenlucht kunnen binnenlaten. Het ontbijt was absoluut een ramp: spiegeleieren die veel te lang bleven liggen tot ze uitgedroogd waren, koffiebonen die niet bijgevuld werden, ongezellige ruimte, tafels die niet werden afgeruimd, fruitsla werd niet aangevuld. Het was absoluut de prijs niet waard.

Curățenie , consumabile în baie de bună calitate . Mic dejun variat și gustos . Pot califica fotelul la un nivel mult mai înalt decat alte hoteluri de 4 stele chiar, din Time Square New York. Felicitări stafului. Nu m- a deranjat nimic .

Letti grandi e comodi. Stanza molto spaziosa. Pulizie tutti i giorni. Stanza molto grande ma gli spazi non sono sfruttati al massimo. In particolare il bagno è molto grande ma manca una mensola o un mobiletto in più per poggiare le cose. Poca insonorizzazione delle stanze.

Pensamos que estávamos priorizando a localização em detrimento de outros fatores porém a experiência proporcionada foi tão completa que é difícil destacar apenas uma característica boa dela. O quarto e o banheiro são muito bem equipados e confortáveis. O hotel é novo e reformado. O bairro gótico é um diferencial e permite acesso tanto à praia quanto às zonas mais turísticas em menos de 30 minutos à pé. Há restaurantes, bares, praças, pontos de ônibus, estações de metrô, monumentos, lojas e supermercados muito próximos. O staff do hotel foi muito atencioso do início ao fim, tendo oferecido cortesias do bar na chegada e também serviço de guarda segura para as bagagens após o checkout. A limpeza que fizeram enquanto estivemos lá foi excelente. O preço foi muito justo e consideramos um negócio que valeu muitíssimo à pena. Não houve nada que possa ser considerado algo negativo. Só é importante mencionar que o ar-condicionado não tem sua temperatura ajustável. Apenas admite-se o controle da intensidade do vento (não foi um problema para nós).

- Sara (10/5): Would definitely stay here again!! - The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was essentially located to everything. It was a decent size. It was a large bed, especially for Europe and the shower was really warm and had great water pressure! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! There were blackout curtains, so you could sleep even when it was light out. The windows opened all the way, so you could get fresh air. Great insulation not noisy at all. The only thing that was kind of a pain was Uber’s or taxis did not come to the hotel. You had to walk to a specific location that wasn’t very clear to get picked up. Literally only complaint and there is nothing in the hotel could do about that.
