• Evangeline (10/5): Great location, clean and comfortable. - We booked the economy room last minute when due to flight delays we needed a room for 1 night. While small, the room was very clean and comfortable. The communications were excellent. Everyone was helpful and the staff we met at the building were friendly. There were nice touches like the availability of tea & coffee, still and sparkling water and a mini fridge. Easy to reach from the train station in just a few minutes. Near the Duomo. Highly recommend! Because of the area, and tourists on the street who forget not everyone wants to hear them at midnight, not even the double windows could keep out the noise from loud people wandering by. Regular traffic was muffled but people partying loudly could be heard.

The air conditioning unit is directly above the bed so when it is turned on, the condensation from it drips continuously onto your head. There is an extremely strong smell of air fresheners all through the residence and their showers could use a good scrub.

• Steven (10/5): A place nothing short of Amazing! - I liked everything about Residenza Maglioni al Battistero , and will highly recommend the hotel based on location alone. The staff is "chef's kiss" excellence. If - of when - I return to Firenze I will be booking this hotel. You are literally a 5 minute walk from the Duomo, if that! 7-9 minute walk for the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station! The Location of this hotel is amazing, even though it didn't seem like your "standard" hotel, being right in the city centre made staying here worth it. I would definitely stay here again. NA. There are no downsides to Residenza Maglioni al Battistero.

La cama doble eran dos sommiers individuales y tenia un colchón más blando que otro, quedábamos durmiendo a distintas alturas.

La chambre propre et confortable dans un style italien. L'accès à une fontaine à eau en libre accès avec un petit coin thé/café, très appréciable. Les parties communes peuvent être bruyantes si les autres clients n'y font pas attention.

• Sellammai (7/5): Good location but small rooms and expensive - Location is excellent right next to Duomo Florence and walkable to Santa Maria Novella train station Room and shower room were small. There were indoor and outdoor noises(church bells. ambulance sirens etc) making it very hard to have a restful night. Check out is at 10:30 am. There was a city tax of 6 euros per person per night which we were asked to pay in cash at checkout. We weren't made aware of this till checkout. It would be good if this is clear while booking the hotel.

A disposizione degli ospiti acqua fresca e angolo tisane e caffè. Molto apprezzato anche il servizio gratuito di deposito bagagli all’arrivo e alla partenza. • Romina (8/5): Perfect Location for Exploring Florence - This accommodation was perfect for my husband and me. We arrived in Florence by train, and it was easily accessible from Santa Maria Novella Station—only about a 10-minute walk. The location is excellent, very central and within walking distance of all the major historic sites, including the Duomo, Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio, and more. It made exploring Florence incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking to stay close to the heart of the city. The only downside was that the room wasn’t very airy and didn’t get much natural light, likely due to the building being very old. However, this is a minor trade-off considering the charm of the location and historical surroundings.

My wife and I were disappointed to find that, out of the three rooms our group booked, we were given the smallest one, which was especially challenging as we were traveling with a newborn. There was barely enough space to move around the bed, particularly with the cot in the room. The sofa took up valuable space and ended up being impractical rather than useful. While we understand the possible intention of keeping us somewhat separate in case our baby disturbed other guests, this arrangement significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. Additionally, the pillows were extremely firm, one of the bathroom towel rails was broken, leaving our towels wet for the duration of our stay, and we ran out of toilet paper with only one roll provided. This was disappointing, especially given how outstanding and friendly the customer service otherwise was.

Fomos comunicando via WhatsApp e à hora certa tínhamos alguém à nossa espera para ajudar em tudo. O único senão é a localização onde servem o pequeno almoço. Noutro edifício do grupo, o que em dias de chuva poderá ser chato. O pequeno almoço era buffet, q.b. na quantidade e variedade. Este local é um valor seguro. Tudo ok.

Room was comfortable, well designed & spacious. Secure building housing several accommodations. Car park wasn’t as close by as mentioned in the listing but still fairly easy walking distance with bags. Breakfast is in a different property some distance away (7-10) minute walk.

• Wade (9/5): Perfect location, easy check in, great stay. - The check in process was so easy. The communication from the host was awesome. We checked in at 13:00 and had no issues. Someone was waiting for us at the property and we were in our room in under 5 minutes. Location was perfect. Easy walks to Duomo, Piazza Republica, and everything else Florence has to offer. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Rooms are small by American standards but are pretty usual for European standards. The room was very comfortable with water provided.
