Guest Reviews
- Monika (10/5): - Conveniently located close to the Vatican, Trastevere, and most of the main attractions in the historic centre. Property is very clean, nicely decorated and with very friendly hosts. Thank you for a great stay!
- Ryan (10/5): - Good stuff, good price
- Alice (8/5): - Comodo per raggiungere l'Auditorium Ennio Morricone. Scomodo doversi accordare per il check-in
- Sanjeev (10/5): - Great stay for family
- Carolina (10/5): - Really friendly and lovely environment. Had a great time.
- giorgio (10/5): - Una struttura veramente confortevole con tutti i servizi annessi!! Ristrutturata rigorosamente e molto pulita!!!
- Fabio (8/5): - .
- Lisbeth (8/5): Ok - Sweet host who do not speak english but uses whats app. Needs a good deep clean. Great spot close to the city but in a quiet area.
- XIAOYUN (10/5): - I don't like their local tax payments and managed method.
- Kirsty (10/5): - Great stay
- Marco (8/5): - Ottima posizione
- Cinda (6/5): - This property comes up as a hotel and a bed and breakfast and is called "suites" and it is none of those things. It is a room(s) in someone's apartment. It did not provide breakfast (though I guess you could pay extra for it). I did appreciate that the owner saved a parking spot for us upon request but I feel it was false advertising. Call it what it is rather than listing it as a hotel, b&b, or suite.
- Timothy (10/5): - A safe and affordable option that's not too far away from most of Rome and Vatican City's best sites.
- Giovanni (8/5): - Ottima struttura x qualità e prezzo.
- Andrea (10/5): - massima disponibilità e cortesia della proprietà
- Cagatay (6/5): - Traveled with family and kids. Both for leisure and business. Had to leave them for two days. The area did not feel safe. This is a regular 3 bedroom apartment. You rent one bedroom with or without a bathroom. The other people that stay pops up right in front of you. It did not feel safe. Hence we told we will not stay both two nights and found another place inside Rome in a hotel with a desk and separate rooms. The owner did not get back at least indicating he would accommodate one nights fee back. Check the images, there is none from the entrance to the building because the building is old and street is full with graffitied. There is no image from inside this 95sm apartment. The car parking is street parking and can be easily found. The good parts though we did not stay the apartment and the room seemed very clean, ease access to transportation.
- Francisca (8/5): - Good value for family of 4. Make sure to reserve parking right after booking. A bus stop is also on the same block. The owner was reponsive. Only con was the overpowering smell of incense in the room.
- Gary (8/5): - Good location .. 10 min walk to Piazza Popolo .. very helpful staff .. parking a great advantage
- Antonio (8/5): - Accoglienza ottima da parte del gestore. Camera molto spaziosa con bagno. Parchggio all'interno posteggio condominiale, controllato da sbarra.
- Erika (8/5): - TUTTO BENE DISPONIBILI E ATTENTI
- Silvia (8/5): - Ottima la comunicazione, struttura in posizione strategica
Accoglienza perfetta
- Kate (10/5): - This property was great! Luciano was a great host and even recommended a fabulous place for us to go eat dinner at, and even ordered us a Uber how sweet! Everything ran really smoothly! If your in Rome you have to come here and the price is great!
- JoAnn (10/5): Couples visit - We were able to check in early which was much appreciated. We were initially put in the wrong room but straightened out. The room we had had a lovely deck looking out to a tree filled park
Bravi!
- Marina (8/5): - The manager, Luciano, was extremely hospitable and helpful for advice on transportation and offered lovely breakfast upon request. Very walkable/convenient busstop to la Piazza del Popolo for shops good restaurants.
- Juan (10/5): - Manager Luciano does his best to make you feel at home. We did travel with my wife and three kinda noisy and hungry kids and they didnt want to leave. The room is confortable, really nice view to the park, close to the supermarket and some out-of-the-path restaurants. Only complain should be the parking (Luciano made me aware before travelling) but i think is a Rome general pain. They sell new cars without making new parking spots anywhere the metropolitan area. Would definitely stay again at this B&B.
- Ronnie (10/5): Nice place to stay at when in Rome. - We had a pleasant time at this property. Our host was very gracious, friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. Quite a bit of a walk from Piazza del Popolo but we love walking anyway.
- Antonietta (10/5): - Ottima struttura
- Kathleen (10/5): - Host was exceptional and helped us every day to obtain TAXIs and get to tours. This was a quaint B and B. If you want ultra modern with restaurants and shopping, you may be disappointed. If you want to get a feel for Rome, you will enjoy it here.
- safat (10/5): - Our host was super helpful. The location of this property was prime and in a nice area. You can take a tram down into the main area of Rome. Also 5 minute walk away from legit authentic cafes and restaurants. Recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome
Chambre spacieuse
Clim un peu faible par grosses chaleurs
Le propriétaire Luciano est très agréable
- Lucie (10/5): Highly recommended - Veru good location, friendly staff, will come back, clean, Luciano was very friendly and helpful. Thank you
- Sarah (2/5): Lost my $10,000 Diamond Ring Band and earrings - My $10,000 wedding ring and band was stolen from my room along with a pair of 1/2 carrot diamonds. I always wear my ring but I looked the door. The only people in the room was the housekeeper and the owner of the of the Bed and Breakfast. I had to run out quite to meet my friends that were picking me up. I spent 3 hours at the police station and my ring was not returned!!!
The owner said he would take the tax of my bill but he lied. It was only $60.00 and he refused!! There is a beautiful hotel up the street, Hotel Glori, stay there it is a Luxury Hotel!!
- Filippo (8/5): - Un b&b comodo e ben servito dai mezzi pubblici.
- Giulia (8/5): - Letto e cuscini molto comodi.
- Antonio (10/5): - Ottima esperienza, tutto molto organizzato e comodo.
- Angelica (10/5): - Ottima location e cordialità’ del proprietario.
- Boris (10/5): - The room was clean, the service excellent, and the neighbourhood fantastic. Highly recommend staying here - it's close enough to walk to the center of the city, but also far enough that it's actually quiet at night. The neighbourhood has plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and places to check out. Would definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel location is good, owner is super friendly and helpful, a well managed kids park is just a stone's throw away, perfect for family.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very poor communication and management. I would not book with this hotel again.
- Pete (8/5): Recommended - It’s a nice place for the price. Room was clean and comfortable. Free parking available if you arrange in advance. Luciano was easy to deal with, limited english, but we figured everything out easy enough. Short walk to Olimpico Stadio. Only disappointment was hallway noise really carried into the room, but it was quiet at night. Overall, I’d recommend it.
- Peter (10/5): Herligt sted - Herligt, meget centralt placeret. Værten var fantastisk hjælpsom og fleksibel. Værelset typisk romersk, stort og rummeligt. Morgenmaden god.
- Joshua (8/5): - Great location near the tram and a park and a few good restaurants and a bar in the park. make sure you make parking arrangements in advance if you are driving. The owners are very nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A great stay! - - We were welcomed by Luciano, who was constantly available and very helpful
- The room is very comfortable; we had one with a private washroom which was well equipped
- The location is close to many of the attractions in Rome's city centre, and is well connected to public transit
- PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHT: we drove into the city and parked at the attached parking lot (for FREE!) and explored Rome on foot. Would recommend doing the same. The drive in and out avoids all limited traffic zones, so there is no risk of getting fined
- There is included breakfast, which was excellent
Overall, a great stay in comfortable accommodations with a very friendly host. Thank you!
- Ricky (10/5): - Right in the middle of Rome. The perfect Italian experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Luciano was lovely.
Helpful with any questions we might have regarding our trip. If he didn’t know, he would find out.
Cleanliness very good, and good choice of breakfast
- Thiagarajan (8/5): Great stay - It was a great stay for us. very friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Value for money - Worth for the price; very friendly and helpful owner; only disadvantage was distance from airport (costly shuttle).
- Gerard (10/5): - Great apartment, Luciano was very helpful with advice about the local area and serving us continental breakfast each morning in our room.
The location was perfect. The tram stop was just a little way down the street outside allowing us quick access to the Metro station. Loved the little grocery shops and coffee/panini shops on the same street as the apartment which provided convenient and cheap snacks/meals when with kids in tow. We would definitely stay here again.
- Christophe (10/5): LA BONNE ADRESSE !!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I was surprised that the whole building wasn't the hotel. It was just part of the building on the third floor, but the room was excellent and everything was very nice.
- Ricardo (10/5): When in Rome... - Great place to stay in Rome, our host Luciano was outstanding.
Close to the subway station, 2 block away fro a tram stop.
Absolutely great bang for your buck!
- Ana (10/5): Lovely place - Amazing place to stay, very clean and quiet and close to everything. Luciano was a great and helpful host!
- fabio (10/5): - Zona centrale, pulizia della struttura, colazione, parcheggio e cortesia.
- Rachel (10/5): - Very happy with our stay here; it was apx 2km from central Rome but at such a good price this was well worth it- plus it had a tram and bus route immediately outside.
We arrived at 1030pm which was permitted without fuss - this was important as many places only allow check-in up to 7pm. The room was beautifully painted, a good size and an en-suite. It had a few unexpected extras too: mini-fridge with drinks (no charge), shower gels/shampoo, coffee machine & kettle and daily maid service. Breakfast was delivered daily to our room (time agreed via note on door) which was lovely: 2 croissants, Melba toast, yogurt, coffee/tea/juice. Adjacent to the room was a communal kitchen, freely available to all, with open access to more snacks including homemade cake.
The suites are on the 3rd floor of an apartment block. The lift was working when we stayed although we usually used the stairs which were no problem. The immediate area is well served by restaurants and bars- we enjoyed eating at the Treebar, Pizzeria Vignola and Gusto all a few minutes walk. A cash point is opposite the Esso station also a few minutes walk away, but this not shown on google maps.
We flew from CIA and it cost €50 euros each way - we were unsuccessful trying to use the white taxis which only charge €30..... next time! Thank you Luciano for making our stay very easy.
- ViewsAreEverything (10/5): Great B&B - Stayed here for 4 nights as a couple looking to be within reach of Rome attractions without blowing the budget, yet having a pleasant experience. Very happy with our room, Dante, and the facilities. En-suite was fine as was shower temperature and pressure. Each morning we were presented with a breakfast tray (included in price) which was very welcome. Also, adjacent kitchen was freely open to allow us to enjoy homemade cake and extra yogurt, milk, cheese and ham anytime.
Would recommend and also return.
Owner responded to all messages on app prior to stay and arranged taxi from CIA airport which taxi driver charged €50 - I think this was because he was a private taxi rather than a city one. We were not quite sure of location and getting keys etc as an apartment but taxi driver sorted all this out.
Many thanks.
- Leanne (8/5): Great location, good value - Stayed for 3 nights while in Rome - easily travelled to Vatican, coliseum and other tourist locations utilising tram/metro combo from just outside the front door.
We stayed in the Dante room - very quiet, perhaps a little small, but completely adequate for our needs as were out most of the day visiting the sights.
Bed was very firm, but comfortable. Hot water for shower was a little hit and miss - sometimes none, sometimes enough for one person 1-2min max. Very little water pressure prob related to water saving shower head.
Max was very friendly and accommodating - though we skipped the complimentary breakfast offered 3 of 4 mornings we were there, preferring to experience expresso at the cafe near the tram stop like the locals do.
Overall, would definitely recommend due to location and value. Ciao Roma.
- Leanne (8/5): - Excellent location - easy access to public transport to visit all the usual spots. It’s also in a less touristy suburb so you are among normal city living Romans, and away from people in your face trying to flog selfie sticks and bottles of water! :)
A b&b, we were in the Dante room for our 3 night stay - small, but completely adequate for our needs. No lounge or communal area - but again not a problem as most of the time we were out and about.
Water pressure for the ensuite shower was poor. Hot water was sometimes a little hit and miss - sometimes none, sometimes enough for one 1-2minute shower before running out. And only ever warm, not hot.
But overall we would recommend
- Dario (8/5): Nice clean room in a good location to visit Rome. - Nice clean room in a good location to visit Rome. Very friendly hosts and flexible breakfast time. Rooms are located on a third floor of an apartment building not far away from the place 'Piazza del Popolo' and the Maxxi Musuem of Arts.
- bridgegap (8/5): GREAT LOCATION COMFORTABLE STAY - We were three adults & a child & took the quadruple room & stayed there June 29-July 1.Comfortable beds with bundles of towels & nice, clean bathroom full of amenities. The all day access to the kitchen was an added bonus which we all enjoyed very much
Luciano was available all the time & more than happy to help in whatever way he could. We really appreciated the personal touch to everything that this B&B does for its customers. And to top it all Luciano insisted on dropping us off to the train station when we left.Thank you luciano will stay here again on our next trip to rome
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay, not amazing - Lovely staff, good enough facilities for a city break but bathroom could be cleaner e.g. shower cubicle but generally clean and need more choices/ better quality food at breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very happy visitor - This place was great! Max was very accommodating with our late check in. Parking on the street was available. If you cant find parking in front of the hotel, there is parking across the street free after 7:00pm and until 8:00am, after that its a few euro per hour. The place was a little hard to find since there is no big sign on the street so be sure to look at pictures of the front of the building online prior to arriving, it helped us know exactly which door to go in. Overall the location was great, Max was great and we would stay here again!
- ludovicam842 (10/5): Everything perfect! - I just spent one week with my boyfriend in this lovely B&B in the centre of Rome.
What to say?
The location is perfect, close to the most famous touristic places just by walking 10 minutes you are in the famous Campo Marzio. In case you have a car is not hard to find a place where to park: the establishment has a private parking zone in which you can almost always find a free one; in case you don't you can always find one a litle bit further but considering that you re in Rome is a really gooood thing to have where to park.
There are different rooms in the B&B and all of them are really well decorated in a classical italian old style. The house is always warm and quite, perfect to chill out.
I work in the tourism and I have to admit that the staff was incredibly helpful and kind: always smiling and ready to help you with everything you could need. Every morning you have the chance to have breakfast in the room, the staff gives you everyday a paper in which you can choose what to eat and drink and the timing in which you want get the breakfast and they will do everything for you.
I hardy suggest Suites Piazza del Popolo to anyone!!!!!
Thank you Massimiliano and Lushin!!! <3
- L0ll0A (10/5): I definitely will be back - A perfect experience. The building is at the beginning of via Flaminia right on the side of Piazza delle Popolo: it's a great location to visit the historical center (Villa Borghese, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Castel St. Angelo, etc) without being in the middle of the toursits and noises, but also if you are interested in Stadio Olimpico / Foro Italico. Perfectly located, nearby the metro, the bus and the tram, the rooms are small but really well equipped. Vincenzo is the perfect host: careful, loving, gentle full of suggestions and attentions. The prices are reasonable. I definitely will be back.
- Daisy3323 (10/5): Comfortable,Adequate,Ideal location - Max and Lushin were extremely helpful.Room and kitchen were very clean.Any room issues were dealt with quickly.Transport was close by,good restaurants also within walking distance.Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
- O6065IHvalentinaa (10/5): Really good Hotel - Nice Hotel with a nearby Metro station and close to the Piazza del Popolo. The rooms are comfy and clean, and the staff was the nicest. The food was delicious and they have a computer in case you need one.
- Mark (10/5): Great home base in Rome - Stayed here with my daughter for a four-day visit to Roma for a wedding. The location is a few blocks away from Piazza del Polpolo but outside of the tourist hubbub. Nice view from the balcony of the Via Flaminia and small park across the street. The room had one queen bed and a single, which was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated with period touches. Breakfast was nothing fancy but was quite adequate, and the coffee was made to order. AC worked fine. Max and his helpers were wonderful hosts. I will stay there again the next time I am in Roma.
- kk534 (10/5): Beautiful B&B - We had a very nice 3 days stay at this wonderful B&B, which is richely decorated and well maintained. By tram Piazza del Popolo can be reached in only 5 minutes. The Borghese gardens are beautiful and nearby. We walked from the B&B to the gardens.
We hired some bikes also which makes the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo easy to reach.
The breakfast was very good, fresh pie, juices, a good cup of coffee, yoghurt, cheese, and so on.
The hostess, Lushin, was friendly and very helpfull.
- vandy1991 (8/5): Clean, good stay, good value - Clean room, good stay, good value. Pretty good location. Friendly owner (that I never saw), but did talk on the phone. Only negative, the "breakfast" is cereal and some pastries. Meat plate and milk really should be refrigerated longer. Milk was nearly warm and there really isn't any kind of prepared breakfast, so just keep expectations low on that part. All in all, a great place. just don't raise expectations on the breakfast.
- isabellealtmann (10/5): Amazing host and great room - Our host was brilliant, provided us with a map when we arrived and helped us book all our tours. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and it was lovely.
Breakfast was great and fresh every morning, and the rooms were nice. The location is great too, you just catch a 5 minute tram down to the piazza or to the train line which goes to all the main spots in Rome.
We will definitely come back!
- davidchase4 (10/5): Excellent stay with a great host! - Rome was the highlight of our Italian honeymoon. Our host Max gave us a great rundown of the local geography, including things to see, neighborhoods to explore and the transit system. We ended up walking everywhere, since the B&B is perfectly located just north of Piazza del Popolo.
The B&B is very nice, with excellent accommodations and a great breakfast spread in the morning.
One night we accidentally locked ourselves out and Max came to our rescue. He's a great host, I highly recommend this place!
Thanks Max!
- AnthonyI315 (10/5): Highly recommended - I booked this Suites Piazza Del Popolo online. Since this was the first time of taking my entire family from Canada to Italy to Italy there was a lot of anxiety for me as my wife is particular about where we sleep, how we would get around and safety of the children.
Max responded to every mail promptly and even arranged a very comfortable Taxi to pick us up with our luggage (6 in total) for a charge of Eur65 which we paid directly to the driver.
The suites is artistically designed and makes you feel right at home in Rome (roam like home). We had a quad room, which made my two kids (9 and 11) very comfortable as they had their own single beds.
Upon arrival, Max took time to answer all our questions and perfectly understands that a successful B&B is predicated on the owner being available to the guest and ensure personal touch for guest satisfaction.
Breakfast was included in the package as compared to other B&B's who nickle and dime you for breakfast. There was a fully stocked fridge with Milk, juice and yoghurt for guest use at no cost.
Lucian ( the employee) was extremely helpful in planning our trip to Florence and getting around town. She felt like a sister to me and the kids.
The neighbourhood is Flaminia which is away from the madness of tourist but still close to centre of action!
Getting to the start of attractions was 10 minutes by walk ( Popular Square) 20-25 minutes by walk is (Trevi foundation, Pantheon, Piazza Navona). If you want to reduce the travel distance, you can take Tram 2 to Flaminio station for Eur1.5. If you want to relax after touring, there is a nice bar (Treebar) where the hip and young in the area mix and mingle. Affordable lunch and dinner is around the neighbourhood and you can skip paying expensive tourist premium that you find in central location (At average cost of EUR 7-15 Pp).
I was completely blown away that when we requested to keep luggage after checking out, he accepted to help us willingly!
The B&B is good for both family and single travellers.
I highly recommend this property if your budget is mid-range.
We will return to this property sometime soon.
- Roger13 (8/5): Good location and value for money - We've just returned having spent five nights at Suites Piazza del Popolo. Everything went according to plan and Max was in contact before our arrival. Unfortunately because of several early starts for trips out, we had to help ourselves to breakfast and were served only on one of the five days. The accommodation is very good and well-placed. The bed was very comfortable, the air-con was excellent and the room, although facing the main road, was quiet at night. The en suite was great with plenty of room. The free Wifi was excellent. All in all, a great place to stay and would certainly go back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic BnB - Max, the proprietor is incredibly friendly.
The BnB is great, very comfortable, great location.
I definitely would stay there again...we (family) were there initially for 2 nights and extended our stay by one more night!
- Michael (10/5): Stay here if you can! - Well located, very comfortable b&b with great care taken by Max to ensure a comfortable and interesting stay.
- stephenbF3692SK (10/5): An Excellent B&B that Represents Exceptional Value for Money - I just returned yesterday from Rome after staying at Suites Piazza del Popolo for the Rugby at the Stadio Olimpico. I have to say that the accommodation is excellent and represents exceptional value for money.
I received a message a few days before our arrival just to check our arrival time. The responses were prompt and friendly. The location is good and it's easy to get to from the centre; just a short Metro and tram ride. We walked it but if you've heavy bags a taxi or public transport would be the way to go.
On arrival Max greeted us and showed us to our room. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We had a couple of Cokes and beers and boiled sweets that were free gratis. A nice touch. Free Wi-Fi that was easily accessed using the code Max provided.
Breakfast was served in a communal area. It was continental style and there was plenty of it.
A shared kitchen meant that you could make a coffee etc. at any time of the day.
I'd have no hesitation recommending this B&B to anyone including friends and family and look forward to staying there again should I visit Rome.
Thanks Max for your hospitality and keep up the good work. :-)
- francadiva (10/5): Real Italian hospitality in a well placed hidden gem in Rome - My husband and I stayed here as it's a perfectly placed short walk from the stadium. We were able to get around the city from here easily as well, Max was on hand to give us good tips on where to go - we had a cracking night out on his advice as a result! The suites are more of a home from home, where nothing is too much trouble and you're always greeted with a smile. Would def stay here again! Thank you Max and Lucian!
- TimB170 (10/5): Hidden gem - We went to Rome to watch the rugby so wanted somewhere close to the stadium, but also good for getting to the main tourist sites. This place is perfect. Max is so friendly and helped us plan the whole time we had in Rome. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
- Sazzopardi1960 (10/5): Third times the charm, my goodness what a fabulous place!!! - Hello all, let me tell you, this B&B is fantastic!!! I have been three times and will continue to stay there every time I visit Rome. Max, the owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing, after a long day on your feet to come "home" and put your feet up...it's Suites Piazza del Popolo!!! We loved it!
- 86ravik (10/5): Fantastic stay in Rome - We had a comfortable stay at Suites Piazza Del Popolo. Max was very helpful with lots of useful good tips and directions. Easy access to all major attractions with nearby tram and train. Fantastic restaurant near by, one the best we've found in Italy.
- KennethP373 (8/5): Good location and stay! - Great location, just a quick tram ride from major sights. Comfortable room, nice owners, free parking was great. Only thing to improve I would say is the breakfast, definitely not the best we had in Italy, but also not the worst.
Comfortable stay, nice location, cool rooms, I'd recommend.
- Jill (10/5): We will definitely return. - Max is a great host. The rooms were very clean comfortable and all day access to the kitchen area was a bonus. We would recommend these suites to any one looking for a quiet convenient and friendly B&B. A convenient 2 tram stops from Rome centre only 5 minutes and very frequent all day into the early hours of the morning.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Friendly B&B - Max was an incredible host ad made our stay wonderful while we were in Rome. He helped us plan our days and provided us with a map. For us, the breakfast was a little disappointing as we didn't want cake or sweet croissants first thing. Also beware the building as it has graffiti etc on the outside but it is lovely once inside! Apart from this, the place is a gem in an otherwise very expensive city. I would say around a 3* very affordable and friendly B&B.Everything is walking distance.
- 450jerrym (10/5): The best place to stay in Rome - I just got back from a 4 day stay at Rome at the suites piazza del popolo. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ROME. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet and have air con. Just about a 50m walk from the tram line, which will then take you on a 5 min journey to the nearest piazza where there are beautiful churches, shops and amazing restaurants. There is also a metro in the piazza too which will take you to the collesseum and Vatican within 15 mins, but tbh we spent most of the time walking as it was so beautiful. Rooms, amenities, and fantastic location aside, the best thing about the popolo suites is the owner, Max. I have never met anyone more welcoming, friendly and helpful. He gave us a map of Rome and explained to us exactly how to get around to the main attractions, what metros and trams to take, sorted out taxis for us, and always made sure we had his mobile no for 24/7 assistance. He didn't even let us do our own washing up, and turned up every morning with freshly baked pastries for breakfast. I cannot recommend this place enough and would never stay anywhere else in Rome. Thank you max for making our first trip to Rome so wonderful!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner is very accommodating. The place is very convenient with easy access to transportation. Quiet neighborhood with good cheap restos nearby. Will stay here again!
- n0elle26 (10/5): Fantastic stay!! - I needed to make a 'last minute' booking for a room in Rome for one week in July and was very lucky to come across the B&B Suites Piazza del Popolo. Max had provided easy to follow directions for our first time and Rome and provided a map, recommendations and guidance for my daughter and I. The suite is very clean with high ceilings and beautiful hand painted walls and ceilings. WiFi worked well and was fast. The room was large enough to accomodate the overpacking we did and had an individual airconditioning unit that kept us cool and comfortable during a very hot week (with temperature over 90F every day). We had the one room with the private bathroom that wasn't attached which had a terrific shower and even a spare hairdryer for us. The location is close enough to walk to the nearby Piazza and metro but far enough to have peaceful streets away from the crowds. Although the tram stop was just a short distance, we preferred the walk as we found a wonderful cafe where we would get our first cup of capuccino in the morning and gelato in the afternoons where we started to feel like 'regulars'. We could also make our own capuccinos in the well-stocked kitchen and enjoy them in the spacious dining room. Max had said 'make yoursel feel at home', and it didn't take long to feel that way. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome.
- Verified traveler (10/5): perfect! - Absolutely the best place ever. Perfect in every single way. The room, the host (thank you!), the location. You'll feel so comfy and it is hard to say goodbye. I will never look for another place elsewhere in Rome.
- Damien (10/5): Five *****star accommodation for 2 star prices. Di - Me, my girlfriend and my daughter off 1 year old stayed here for one night. But I wish we had stayed there for a few more nights. I have stayed in hotels and b&b in all over the world definitely this is up there with the five star hotels that I've stayed in.
The room we stayed in was large ,nice and clean. The breakfast was great as well. The owner Maximiliano is very friendly, helpful and makes you feel as part of the family which is very important when looking after guests I believe.
Nothing is a problem for him, he even directed us for Naples to Rome.Which can be a bit tricky and complicated motorways system.
If you are looking to stay in Rome, No need to look any further this is definitely the place to stay.
When we return to Rome in the summer there is no question that we will be staying here for sure.
This is five***** star commendation at a great price.
My advice just book it.
You won't be disappointed
