Guest Reviews

- Vlad (10/5): - M-am simtit extraordinar in aceasta locatie cu o priveliste impresionanta asupra orasului. Gazda a fost de asemenea foarte primitoare.
- Elina (8/5): - Great staff, nice host that didn’t make a fuss even tho we arrived later.
Stunning views from the window + terrace, lovely place to sit and chill.
Rooms were equipped with a hairdryer, towels and toilet paper. Everything essential. The amount of stairs you have to climb to get to the house was crazy but the view was totally worth it. However, would not recommend to people who would have a hard time with physical activity.
Would be nice to have some cooking essentials in the kitchen like oil, salt, pepper, milk, onion, etc.
- stefano (8/5): Very efficient, comfortable and functional one late night stay right in front of the station. - piazza Garibaldi is a wasted project. An avalanche of asphalt completely useless, But In front of the hotel is the best zone....a lovely walk with cafe and restaurants and the hotel is right by the station... perfect location. The hotel has really done the best they can for the area. Cheap, comfy and functional. I only stay one half night (I arrived at 1am! and checked out at 9am!
- Antonio (7/5): Un bel weekend - La vista è meravigliosa.

- Duliman-Kahric (6/5): - Staff was nice, and the location truly outstanding because of the view. Just be ready to walk a loot of stairs😄 Only reason i had to give less stars is because i have asthma and the room was very dusty. Had troubles breathing throughout the night.

- Patrick (10/5): We loved having the place to ourselves. For the price, we lived in luxury! - The views were incredible! Could have been cleaner

- Cristina Boghean (10/5): Best view over Napoli - Probably the best view over Napoli you'll ever find!
Also very quiet neighborhood. I was woken up by the neighbor's rooster, not the city noize.
- Nina (9/5): - Den smukkeste udsigt ud over byen.
- Kruk (8/5): - the best escape room I've ever seen - entering this property is a real adventure! be prepared it can take a while at first
the views are amazing, the best in Napoli probably, the terrace is lovely
Sconsiglio assolutamente
- Emily (10/5): Giovanna is so helpful and always responds promptly, and the stay is an absolute dream. Wish we could have stayed longer - The views of the city are 100% worth every euro! The house is a proper family home and it feels just like that. There is a stocked fridge, tons of space to host and a beautiful kitchen/living area. If you like a good work out, the stairs to get to the stay are no big deal. If two Americans after stuffing themselves on pasta can climb the stairs, so can you. (Also Giovanna gives you the best directions to easily get to the stay, best way is to get off the metro at the top of the hill and walk down with your luggage).
(10/5): - A wonderful apartment with an incredible view☺️
- Martyna (10/5): -

Yanınızda mutlaka termos taşıyın, napolide her yerde içilebilir cesme mevcut.
Google maps’e bakarak tesise gelmeyin. Toplu taşımada yanlış yönlendiriyor. Google maps diyor ki Line 1 metrosuna bin, Toledo durağında in ve yürü. Eğer bu rotayı yaparsanız yokuş yukarı yürüyorsunuz.
Line1 metrosuna binin, toledoda inmeyin.

- Michaela (9/5): Incredible view of Naples! - Incredible views of Naples! Sunrise and sunset views were just amazing and a real highlight for us. Cleaner was super welcoming and made us feel right at home.
Really safe and secure location. Love that it was out of the busy centre so very quiet area. The stairs to the property! All the reviews mentioned the stairs and after 3 days it makes it tough especially with luggage. But if you’re prepared and know you have to do it, especially for the amazing views, then it’s worth it.
The towels and sheets were clean. However the cushions and duvet definitely need replacing/ need to be deep cleaned!
- Lynette (9/5): Superb -
- Jacek (10/5): NY 2025 - Absolutely unforgettable! The setting, the character unique: a paradise under the sky on top of an matured mansion halfway the stairs to Vomero. The hidden entrance hardly reveals spatious, well furnished premises upstairs, boasting the awesome pearl: the terrace with magnificent view of the most Centro Storico, the Bay, the harbour and the Vesuvio, all in the ever changing configuration of light and místs. One od the most romantic places to stay in the city. Yet, all comes at costs. It must be remembered the mansion is not accessible from the road and, given long stair ascent (or descent), is most suitable for backpackers of some physical fitness. For some, indeed, this may be an advantage, an additional flavour. There are no shops and eateries at easy distance. It would also be great if the precise WiFi directions could be given beforehand and not towards the end of the stay. Also the 8 o'clock pm as the latest arrival time seems somewhat impractical (luckily it appeared movable). Nevertheless, it was a magnificent New Year for us!
- Francesco (8/5): Very good - The room was large and the view was incredible. Good price-quality ratio. Extremely quiet for being in the center of Naples. The toilet is very small. The room and especially the bed were a bit dusty. The stairs are part of the magic but one needs to be prepared as there is no way to reach the place without walking several flights of stairs (taxis and public transport do not get there).
- Laura (5/5): Spectacular panoramic views of Naples, beware the stairs! - I loved the view over the entire city with Vesuvius on the horizon. It was not clear that it was a room in a shared house/apartment with no private kitchen/bathroom, balcony, or inside sitting space. The shared kitchen had no oven/stove and the breakfast included was plastic wrapped hard bread or croissants. Also, there are HUNDREDS of stone steps to get to the house and more inside. Be aware of your abilities. It is a difficult daily task to come and go from here with all the stairs!
- Monika (9/5): The most amazing view in Naples. Highly recommend! - If you are fit enough to climb around 250 steps to the property- I would highly recommend this guesthouse! You can wake up and fall asleep to the stunning view that is better than at Belvedere San Martino. Good location just by the Quartieri Spagnoli. Guest huse is well equipped with necessary stuff. Smal basket with breakfast snacks and coffee machine is provided.
For the price- it is definitely worth it! No issues at all.
- Jay (10/5): It was wonder and I would recommend this location. - Amazing location! The host accommodated a late arrive with ease.
- Siyuan (10/5): Exceptional - Very good position, especially the excellent rooftop where you can view the entire city, including the vocano and sea port. The room is very clean and traditional style. Very nice living experience!
- Thomas (5/5): Passable -
- Tetiana (10/5): I don't regret being here, the emotions will last a lifetime. - Veryy beautiful view, terrace. Unusual furniture and atmosphere of this house You need to be ready for the road and not perfectly clean
- Ievgeniia (4/5): Would only recommend for 1-2 nights stay if you are very chill and not picky - The view was indeed amazing and having dinner on the terrace was nice No car access, you have to walk with your suitcases on the stairs for at least 10 minutes to get to a location where you can get a car. Also there are no restaurants and shops nearby, all of them would be at least 15 minutes away by feet (via the stairs).
The towels smelled with dampness and were torn.
The air conditioner smelled with mold and we saw a lot of mold when looked inside.
There are no blinds on the windows so the sun shines right into the room at sunshine and it was very difficult to sleep.
Also, there was a rooster nearby making noise early in the morning for hours.
- Ryan (10/5): Above all expectations! - Wow! An incredible place that felt like home. Great for couples, families or singles. The views were unbelievable; tourists would take photos from the nearby viewpoints, but staying here meant we woke up to them every day. The owner is friendly, helpful and made checking in/out easy. Such a lovely place and I would recommend it to my own friends and family. We will stay here any time we return to Napoli. I am so pleased we booked this place rather than anywhere else.
- Florencia (9/5): Amazing view in Naples - It is an amazing place to stay for a few days in Naples. The stairs make it not so easy to reach, it can be tiring for longer stay, but the view is worth it. The staff super nice and good communication. The breakfast is only a small snack, but nice to have the option to start the day.
- Elodia (8/5): Amazing view - The room has an amazing view and having breakfast on the terrace was amazing. The staff was very kind and available for any questions or advices. The wifi modem is in the kitchen so it did not reach the room but as we only stayed one night it didn't matter for us. There was plenty of space to use the wifi within the common area so if you need to work you better use those spaces.
There is a lot of stairs so bear this in mind when booking!
- Aishabibi (7/5): Good - The view from terrace was mesmerizing, the house itself is very bright The room was pretty old
- Marta (9/5): Fabulous views - I was blown away with this property! Yes, it takes a lot of steps to reach it but it is so worth it - absolutely stunning views from the top (and our room!!!!!!) and from the property's balcony. Probably best views of Napoli and Vesuvius there are! The property is huge and very unique - you are going to have to see the photos to understand it. The host was responding to all whats app messages and even allowed me to have a bottle of bear on the house! (I was there on my birthday) :) Absolutely the best place to stay in Napoli, the only regret is that we were there for just one night.
- Klára (9/5): Superb -
- Sara (9/5): Superb -
- Olivier (8/5): Very good - Fantastic view, old building with a lot of cachet, well decorated, comfortable and clean. Doesn't look like much from the outside but very nice interior and terrace. Lots of stairs be prepared, but it's worth it.
- Angelo (7/5): very good stay -
- Eliska (10/5): beautiful view and interior - beautiful view and interior -
- Jelena (8/5): Very good - The view and common area is very nice! It is hard to reach, specially with luggage. There is a lot of stairs to get there.
- Deimantė (7/5): Overall – nice - As expected, the view from the windows and from the shared terrace is simply stunning. We were also pleased with the host's communication and quick replies via Whatsapp. The room itself was tidy and cosy, but we were a bit disappointed with the bathroom, which was extremely mouldy. The bath itself is very small and quite uncomfortable to use, as there was no shower curtain, which alone caused water to spill over the edges and run onto the bath mats. The sink and mirror were in the shower. It was also quite difficult to communicate with the person who greeted us, but we understood each other anyway. :) The many stairs were also quite tiresome, but it's worth climbing them for the view alone. Staying in this room for one or a few nights is fine.
- Tsvetelina (8/5): The location is perfect with an amazing view over Naples! - Very nice house, spacious and authentic! We loved the place very much. The hosts are very polite.
- Tsvetelina (7/5): Perfect location, amazing views, I loved the place - The location is amazing, great views, walking distance to the center
- Milega (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): Amazing views and room - Owner very friendly and responsive to WhatsApp’s!
Amazing views!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 If you aren’t fit, or aren’t great with stairs or uphill walks then this isnt probably the best place for you.
- Jančová (9/5): Superb - The place was very calm, also during the night. I really liked the design of rooms, with wooden furniture and old paintings. From the terrace is really beautiful view. Everythink was ok, the owner is very nice, helpful with everything, available on whatsup all the time. The only disadvantage is for people who have problems with movement, because there are a lot of stairs leading here.
- Maya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriella (8/5): Very good -
- Nilsson (7/5): Overall nice! - Good facilities, very helpful hosts and staff, clean and overall nice. It was high up and a lot of stairs to get to the location.
- Nataša (10/5): Exceptional -
- Loredana (5/5): Passable -
- Sebastiano (10/5): Exceptional - stunning view from the terrace and from the room. kind flexible hosts. large common area and kitchen. room was quite hot but air conditioning is available
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pilar (9/5): Superb - It was very quite and nice, we felt very comfortable.
- Uzi (6/5): Pleasant - The architecture and the view Maintenance, kitchen facilities,
- Loretto (8/5): Very good - I loved the stunning views of Naples and of Mount Vesuvius which could be viewed whilst sitting on the terrace. A little gem of a guest house which was previously the owners own home whilst growing up. Nice and clean inside with a nice sitting and dining room. It also had a very large sofa and the largest TV i've ever seen. Our bedroom was lovely, clean and comfortable. I didn't particularly like all the steps to the guest house. It is situated up by the Castle. Not really suitable for anyone who is unfit or has any kind of medical condition. The breakfast was disappointing as it consisted of very little to eat.
- Dominik (9/5): Superb - All is great. The best view in town, nice room and fantastic hosts, who helped with parking, which is a hassle in Napoli! Nothing wrong.
(10/5): Exceptional - Recommend! The host was very polite and friendly and the house was clean. The view from the terrace is INCREDIBLE. I definitely will come again here.
- Nikolaos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing property and view
- Boris (8/5): Very good - The property offers a great view of all of Naples. The rooms have very stylish furniture and design and the house has a great history. The property is located right in the middle of a very long staircase which means that if you have heavy luggage you'll struggle a bit carrying it to the house.
- Elisa (5/5): Cleanings can be improved - The common areas were really nice. The view from the terrace and our bedroom was stunning, you could see clearly Naples and the Vesuvius from above. The bathroom wasn't clean at all. There was hair on the shower floor while on the shower curtain there was plenty of mold. We didn't dare to take a shower there.
- Rono (7/5): Good -
- Jonpaul (8/5): Very good -
- Z (9/5): It’s not perfect luxury hotel but offered us unique experience in the city, and good value for the price. - Beautiful interior design with wooden roof exposed to individual room and beautiful windows with fantastic views. Common area, including a kitchen, a dining room, a living room and a balcony, on the lower floor is spacious, well connected and generous for use. Check in and check out are quite smoothly: the manager gave us keys on arrival and we leave very early in the morning so just left the keys in the room. The place is near Castle Sant. Elmo, our favorite architecture in Napoli. There isn’t wifi in the bedroom. The property is a bit far from metro stations, 20-min walk, located in the middle of hillside. So for people with barrier-free requirements it’s kinda impossible. We only had hand luggage and enjoyed walking so it’s fine.
- Irina (10/5): Anytime again! - The host was very kind to pick us up on the street in the middle in the night for the late check-in (and also helped with the luggage). The access to the hotel is only possible by foot over the long staircase, so be careful if you travel with big or heavy luggage.
Incredible view over the city!! No breakfast.
- Zeng (2/5): Highly problematic. - The view was all that could be offered by this guesthouse. Maybe also the proximity to one sightseeing spot (Castillo Sant Elmo). But other than those, there's nothing else. 1. The instructions to reach the guesthouse are very vague. If you have booked this place already, make sure you get the specific instructions before coming and make sure it's daylight so you can find it. Also, don't plan on booking if you have luggage with you unless you wanna go up and down 500 steps of stairs with your suitcase. You've been warned.
2. The "breakfast" is almost nothing. Coffee and some packaged toast/croissant that runs out because all guests are free to take however much they want.
3. Our room (private room for 2 with bathroom) had sooo many problems. It was too cold, no heating. The window doesn't close so the cold draft comes in making the room even colder. The bathroom tiles had lots of molds and mildew. While you lay in bed, you will feel the hard springs pushing up your back. And the towels and linens all smell terribly.
- Aleksandra (9/5): Superb - The view and the style of the place is breath taking! We had wonderful time on the tarrace The heating place was covered and there was no lighter to make it work, so we could not have any hot drink except for espresso from the coffee machine. There was some mold on the ceiling in the kitchen. The bathroom was really cold since there is no heating except the air conditioning that is not doing much of work as a heater.
- Richard (3/5): Poor - The views Everything else
- Michael (7/5): nice hosts, outstanding view, rooms very simple but acceptable, for a short stay ok - View from terrace was outstanding,
hosts were very friendly and helpful don’t expect a luxurious hotel experience…the guest house is old and especially the bathroom condition is not the best.
internet was fast but not available in all rooms
- Brit (9/5): Getting there is not easy, but the view is amazing - The view was spectacular! The room itself had really small windows but the balcony was super. There was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. There was also a kitchen that we could use. Getting there was not easy at all. There must have been like a thousand steps to get up to the hotel. Do not go with a suitcase!!! The entrance to the house is really weird, we were worried if we arrived to the wrong place...
- Antonella (5/5): Passable -
- Monica (7/5): Good - The apartment has a large sitting area and a nice terace with a stunning view and that makes you forget about all the inconveniences. We booked three rooms with private bathrooms and we had just two shared bathrooms, one of which on the other floor!
The so called breakfast was just coffee and those long lasting store bought croisants or crisp bread. Coffee was good though...
- Daiga (9/5): Superb - The view from the guest terrace is indescribable! You will have almost all of Naples at your feet, the harbor and the mighty Vesuvius right in front of you! Bird watchers - bring binoculars! There are many trees and bushes in the area around the accommodation, the locals have even cultivated root gardens! Breakfast could have been better!
- Anne (10/5): The host was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was excellent - stunning views and character
- Salome (10/5): Exceptional - Guest house Pedamentina is located near tourist attractions in Baples. It has wonderful view from terrace and from rooms as well. Rooms were very clean and accomodated. We loved your stay there. Thank you to Pascuale for helping us in everu detail interested for us The only uncomportable think was to care heavy bags on stars but, this view from terace was worth of it.
- Jakub (9/5): Superb - the view from the terrace is truly incredible, I couldn’t hope for a better one! breakfast. I wish there was more than just a croissant and a coffee to go
- Baby_g76 (9/5): views fantastic, but no parking, need to get to the guest house but lots of stairs up high, - coffee very good Breakfast poor(no butter or jam or anything else.)
- Antonella (4/5): Intriguing , although sinister at the same time ...At times didn't feel safe - The view There was no illumination on the exterior stairs
