- Richard Chen (8/5): A hotel in the city of Singapore - The hotel is in the center of the city, close to many shops. It is walking distance to many tourist attractions. The facilities in the room are good but basic. The staff are very friendly. Room is cleaned every day. Breakfast has both western and eastern style. It is a good hotel to explore Singapore city center. After I checked into the room, I found out the fan in the ceiling could not be stopped and the AC was not working either, as the temperature could not be adjusted to go higher. They called in the maintenance person who fix both. There is no bottled water in the room. They showed a sign when I was checking in saying that it is for environment protection. One day, I was waiting for the lift in the lobby to go upstairs to the room. When the lift door opened, two concierges came over and asked another guest and I to call and use another lift while they were keeping the door of the lift open. It seemed they were keeping the lift for some VIPs. As a paying customer in the hotel, I found it extremely rude and inappropriate. It left a very negative impression.

They confirmed a real bed. I went to reception to seek some help and there was zero customer service and they hem k asked if I couldl leave a review the staff member lied and said they didn’t have a Google scan card despite being offered one as soon As we arrived from a his colleague . When approached about this he said leaving Ana’s review would be bad for him and asked we didn’t . No support help was given. It made the experience disappointing and took a lot of good energy away from what was to be a fun exciting time. We were told to call if pillow were too hard…. We called and they had no soft pillows. There was another family in the corridor asking for pillows too. They are rock hard like you’ve never slept on before . I was really disappointed as I alway prefer to give the hote or business a chance to rectify an issue and ofert a solution. On this occasion nothing happened until my last night after a couple of emails and the morning of departure they offered us a complimentary taxi to Sentosa our next location . Location is great . - pbp2002019 (4/5): Very Poor Experience So Far! - I checked in with my family last night (x5 people, 2 rooms). So far not at all impressed. There is absolutely nothing 5* about this hotel. 1) We arrived after a 19hr flight. Upon entering the hotel, there was no one at the main door to receive us, no concierge and no bell boy (porter). We found our way up to reception which is on the 3rd floor. Check in was 'ok' straightforward but nothing special or warm. 2) We had booked their crystal club rooms. The rooms on the 10th floor are very poorly designed. They've got a bathtub, there is a giant purposeless sink which eats into the space and this means they have a tiny shower cubicle squeezed right next to the toilet. I literally have to squeeze myself out of the shower cubicle to make sure I don't rub against the toilet and I'm a petite size 8. Its far from luxurious. 3) bathroom amenities are basic. No body lotion. 4) this was most hilarious. We requested for an extra shower gel in the sink area as my little daughter has sensitive skin and can't use hand soap + we don't find it hygienic to use a shared bar soap in the sink area between us. After almost 8 phonecalls to housekeeping and 2 conversations with the front desk reception manager requesting for a spare shower gel, the conclusion was 'they have refillable shower gel bottles and don't have spare bottles'. The annoying thing was I would call housekeeping and would be told 'they are trying'. There was no effort to leave us a note with an update, no effort to communicate with us. We just had to keep chasing and in the end to be told they can fill shower gel if we give them a spare bottle of our own!!! Eventually it was the principle. I could have gone to the shopping mart and bought a handwash but the complacency was shocking. It was definetely not something I would expect from a 5* hotel. All in all, you don't feel any sense of 5* luxury here, whether its the custom or the room. 5) The breakfast also didn't make up for the poor experience. Whilst there is a buffet breakfast, eggs have to be ordered from an 'egg menu'. But there is no staff present to do the 'eggs order'. Its all very impersonal. Overall I'm not impresssed!

All the staff in this hotel were very helpful and attentive to all our needs. From Concierge (Especially Guga and Syahir wou would always greet us with a smile) to front desk (big shout out to Cardjin) and even the room attendants. Another thing that I love about Grabd Park istha it is close to mos of the famous attractions likethe Marina Bay Sands and Merlion (about 15-30 mins walk) and surrunded by mals which is perfect for shopping and dining with various food choices from different cuisines. We definitely recommend Grand apark City Hall and will surely be staying here if we were to go bak to Singapore.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Gugan and Syanir. They were always cheerful, and my daughter loved saying hello to them every time she saw them haha 😊 The location is fantastic—very close to City Hall MRT station and within walking distance of several malls, which was super convenient for us. The only minor issue was that the shower water pressure was a bit low, but overall everything else was very good. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Singapore.

We had an amazing terrace to relax. Superb. Hotel is very central to shopping and many of the other Singapore attractions. We will be back and the Grand Park City Hall is where we will stay.

Upon each and every entry to the room, the smell was far from pleasant. A day or so into my stay (1 week) I discovered that extractor fan was not working. Reported to concierge and had to wait in the room for an engineer to fix. ‘Fixed’ for it to stop working again a day later! Bed was quite firm. Same as their standard pillows. Ordered a different pillow from reception and was told there was additional charge, I informed them that this was contrary to their in room TV advert, whereby the H range was free! Whilst frequenting the room the limited TV and movies were poor - with virtually the only real option was to watch CNN during the Iran war! No air conditioning used in the lobby, lifts and hallways - sweating before you’ve even left the building! Pool - No shelter, shade nor service at the poor bar. The Room light and aircon wall mounted operating system was heavily lit over night and could not be turned off or overridden, unless you wanted underside sofa lights switched on. Absolute nightmare, fraught with many sleepless nights. Just remembered, the hotel is on top of the Fire station. As I’ve wrote this I’ve probably overrated this hotel (6) but felt obligated to do so, because of the lovely staff

Mike Iman & Gladys in the club room were pleasant and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We stored our luggage when we stayed and did a tour to India, had secure storage and help when our transfer was delayed especially assisting with our luggage into the vehicle. Sakthi & Lornie at the front door were very friendly and helpful. The Grand Park City Hotel offers a good quality hotel and facilities at a reasonable price. I will like stay again.
