• Gurdeep (4/5): - cleaning lady doing good job but breakfast was very poor, no hygiene , room too small , stairs too narrow, no elevator, only one iron wait two days etc
• Koo (4/5): - The kitchen was untied and dirty the staff were dirty, and the end of my staying, the book me for a transport a minibus 12 seater, they haven’t an compartment for laggage and in the end of my arrival the driver damage my lagagge , l contact the hotel and l send a photo of the damage, but they never go back to me.

The stairs are narrow and I was on the 6th floor. I looked at it as a fitness opportunity! Haha. The bed was so comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was a life safer. Shower was like a spa. Was a great experience. Clean nice, great people. One more thing. Definitely buy a SIM card in Nam, not abroad. My Mint - minternational roaming sim, didn’t word for even a second. my iWatch saved me. Waypoints and offline maps. Hote;l had old school paper maps that helped as well. Definitely would stay here again. If I go back to the old quarter.

• Thong (10/5): - The hotel is in a small alley, so it will take about 2 min walk from the big road. Good WiFi, firm bed, soft pillow, kettle for hot water, shower separated from the toilet and sink, clean and new amenities, quiet area even close to the noisy beer quarter,. The staff is especially very helpful with advise and carrying heavy luggage upstairs as no elevator available. The only down points are no elevator, sewer smell bathroom, useless safe box (can't be used as it's already closed). Price very affordable and cheaper than other places. I'll give it 4.5/5.

The rooms could have been cleaner; there was mold growing on a few surfaces in the bathroom. The fridge stops working when you leave the room - we lost some food to this. The stairs are hot and tight. No elevator. David and Tracey helped make our stay amazing. The cost of the hotel for what you get is a little high compared to other hotels in the Old Quarter.
• Boanerges (10/5): Great hotel in Old Quarter - The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Breakfast was included and there were many great food and drink options. The hotel's location next to Beer Street was great for a live atmosphere. The hotel's location also allowed for easy pick up during tours to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Bing. My wife and I would stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff change the towels daily. Old quarter is super walkable and the hotel is situated in a great place. It’s near a very noisy bar street but the hotel room was quiet!

The lobby was the worst and I had no idea how the staff handled it and served the breakfast without the air conditioning. There is no lift in the building so if you thought you could manage to walk to 6th floor with narrow staircases. Good luck.

• Kim Hong (4/5): Hotel is not cleaned - This hotel is very old. Not very clean. We’re not even sure the sheets were washed. Even at a discount, it’s not worth the money. We stayed here for 2 nights. We moved to ANOTHER hotel just around the corner for next 2 nights for exactly the same price. The next hotel is so much better, clean & they even provided good breakfast.

• 773luker (10/5): Excellent experience and great staff - My father and I stayed at Hotel Elite for six nights. The staff were excellent and responsive, and the hotel was safe and clean. There was some wear and tear in the rooms, but nothing too bad. While Hotel Elite is located close to some very loud areas in the city ("Beer Street"), it was fairly quiet overall because of the hotel's location in a nearby alleyway. We arranged airport pickup and dropoff and laundry service, and everything went very smoothly. We would both recommend this place to others visiting Hanoi.

I can express enough how friendly and helpfull everyone was. The hotel is located in the heart of old town. It is close to the infamous beer street but it is far enough from the action and the room was quiet and clean.

Location as most of famou things near by like beer street, Train Street, Church, Lake and lot many food option and shops. 2. Staff 3. Help to arrange transport early morning 4:30am. Cons: 1. Fridge is really very dirtyand seems not working well 2. Some repair required specially gate lock and bathroo taps leakge and not very smooth. 3. No lift you need to take your luuage to your room and if u have heavy luggauge its not so good. 4. TV not working so for family with kids can face problem.

They set up airport transfer, clean nice toyota suv, and installed my sim card, and simply added it to the bill. Unfortunately we wanted to stay another night but they were fully booked. • Hung (10/5): - Amazing and friendly staff. I had a great time here. The slightly annoying thing is that the hotel has 6 floors, and there is no elevator. I was assigned to the 5th-floor room, and it took some effort to walk up the room. But the price makes up for this.

• 776katarinat (2/5): Not clean - We chose this hotel because of its positive reviews. Hotel is centrally located, it has 5 floors but no elevator. We were welcomed with tee and Michael gave us a guide what to do/see in Hanoi. First we waited until 14:30 so we could enter the room. Our room was dirty - toilet seat wasn’t cleaned - there were urine stains. Floor was not clean, bed had small black hair (I suppose pubic hair). I didn’t feel comfortable so we decided to leave the room. Michael gave us an option to stay in another upgraded room or he will give us our money back (not what we payed but what they have received over the booking). As the other hotels were sold/booked out we decided to give it another chance. Other room was much bigger and seemed to be cleaner. As I looked closer there was mold and hair in the toiletries cup, bath towels had brown stains, the floor towel was still wet. I just couldn’t stay there, so we left. We received part of our money back. Michael was really welcoming and super helpful.

The only down side to the hotel was it has no elevator, so you may have to walk up many stairs depending on what room your floor is on. Overall it was a good place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

• Paul (10/5): - The customer service here is outstanding and the value for your money simply cannot be beat. They arranged both our airport transfers, got us a discounted rate on an overnight cruise, stored our luggage while we were gone and arranged for us to stay another night when we got back. The location is right in the center of all the action, but on a narrow and (somewhat) quieter side street. The price was incredibly reasonable and the property is well maintained and in good shape. Only complaint is that the drains were a little slow in the sink and shower of room 305. Otherwise, 10/10 all the way.

• Oscarftm (10/5): Great central hotel with friendly/helpful staff - We stayed in Hanoi Elite Hotel for three nights in May 2023 and strongly recommend the hotel. Although within 30/40 yards of main bar/restaurant area, it is down a quiet side street and you do not pick up any noise. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us which dropped us at the door to be met by the most friendly/warm team. Jake checked is in with plenty of advise/guidance via a map for Hanoi. His co worker (apologies I’ve forgotten his name) carried out backpacks up to the room, which was clean and spacious. We left our luggage securely with them while we went off to halong bay and returning the next day was like returning home. Thanks all at Hanoi elite for a great stay

They carried our luggage up 6 levels, provide us with extra towels, tea and coffee every morning and gave us a leaflet with recommended sights, restaurants and shopping locations. Hotel room is lovely and clean. Rooms cleaned every day too. Room comes with free water, coffee and toiletries. Location is close to beer street and many food spots. Highly recommend!

My motorbike was moved by a local to a safer location (no notice or note left behind, good intentions tho) because I parked it somewhere that wasn’t allowed overnight. I was freaking out but Jake (manager) was able to help me locate the motorbike and get to my morning tour to Ha Long Bay in time. Super grateful to the staff! Only downside is there is no elevator, but the staff will help you carry your luggage to your room.

From the responsive email before check-in to the last goodby to the airport, the staff are warm and attentive. Central location on a quiet alley with well designed modern rooms that maximise space. • AKsnowangel (10/5): Wonderful stay - I highly recommend choosing Hanoi Elite Hotel for your stay in Hanoi. My room was very clean, gorgeous and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This became VERY important, because I arrived in Hanoi just as the entire city was shutting things down due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. I ended up needing to stay at Hanoi Elite Hotel for three nights while waiting to get my flights arranged to return home to Alaska. The staff helped me to arrange some really nice walks and restaurant visits as well as calling me a taxi when needed and a private driver to and from the airport. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. And, all of the hotel services felt like a life saver during such a stressful time. The free WiFi in my room allowed me to be in touch with my family and make my travel changes and arrangements. I really look forward to returning to this hotel as soon as I am allowed to return to Vietnam. THANK YOU Hanoi Elite Hotel!!!

Breakfast was delicious, room was spacious, location was perfect. The only minor issue was due to the fact they didn't have an elevator and the stairway was a bit narrow. As mentioned, top notch service, an employee brought up our bags. Happy I chose to book here.

The rooms are well appointed and have a decent air con/heating unit. It is centrally locates but you must walk a bit as it’s on a walking street.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Room is very clean and everything you need, breakfast is great with a huge range and all you can eat.

They organized a transfer to the airport for us, enable luggage storage and give us advices for sightseeing. Perfect place to explore Hanoi Old Quarter. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast is delicious (authentic Vietnamese + Continental). Any time again.

We came with an open itinerary and the receptionist gave us her number to help organize further trips in the north, even beyond our stay at the hotel. The local guide and homestay she helped set up in Sapa was great and the receptionist even helped us from a distance when we got lost in Sapa town. Definitely recommend staying here as they will help with everything, recommendations around Hanoi and to other locations. The location is central, a great base from which to explore the city. Despite being in the middle of the Old Quarter it’s not noisy. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is excellent

Breakfast is amazing, and the waiter is very kind. The receptionist, Ngoc Mai, is so helpful and skillful in English. I highly recommend this hotel for every kind of trip.

It’s right in the heart of the old quarter of the city which is very busy and lively. Lots going on and we felt instantly at home. The hotel is up a small street just off the main eating area. Despite being close to the nightlife the hotel was very quiet at night and we slept very well. Staff very helpful. Would recommend the eggs benedict for breakfast.

The location is in an alley area and will be crazy to cross during the weekend night market on one side, but it is relatively quiet and also next to another hotel and hostel. We booked a family room that could accommodate up to 4 pax. Either than the molds/scums on the bath's shower, and a low ceiling, all is fine. And would be a good place to rest in the evening after a full day of activity.

• Dan Thomas (10/5): Pleasant stay. We extended our stay after 2 days. - The hotel is located besides the "Beer Street", and streets all days - extra busy in the weekends. Recommend you contact the hotel regarding transport from the airport, to the hotel the first time you visit. This will help you greatly. The hotel does not have any lift, but they will happily transport the luggage for you up the stairs. Ask for a room on the lower floors if you like less stairs. Ask for a room on the top floor if you like to isolate yourself from the street noise (Room 605) The staff is very helpful, and will assist you with most local enquires. Most speak english, some very well, others understand more than they speak.
• David (10/5): Lovely, friendly boutique hotel - Genuinely one of the nicest, friendliest hotels we have ever stayed at. Breakfast made to order, excursions and taxis booked for us were fab and the whole place was spotlessly clean. It's also completely quiet at night when getting to sleep, despite how close it is to all of the action. We'd definitely stay here again

• Lily (10/5): Lovely Hotel in the Middle of the Old Quarter - I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. In spite of being in a very busy area, the hotel was quiet and we slept well. The complimentary breakfast was great! There is no elevator, and the staircase is quite narrow, but this was not a problem for us.

• Raymond (10/5): A wonderful place to stay - The service is amazing. When we arrive, Le patiently sat us down to brief us about the neighbourhood, offered us a welcome drink. On Christmas day, we had a surprise treat from the hotel with free snacks, wine and juice. They were all out to make it a wonderful stay for us. We love it. We had a family room, room was a little small though. There are no lift in the hotel, but the bell boy is always helpful to bring up the luggage for us.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place but small room (God is fair) - Location is great, right in the heart of old quarter, but quiet as it is in a small alleyway. Room is a bit small and not much of a view. Staff are friendly to provide support, helping us coordinate with our ha long bay cruise bus pick up. Check in process is also very thorough, walking us through the map of hanoi go orientate us and giving us points of interest to visit. Boiled water tastes funny. Might want to bring a travel size kettle. TV channels are fuzzy but can still watch.

• Bianca (10/5): - This was a charming boutique hotel, small and unique in style. It was a fantastic location within the Old Quarter. The staff went out of their way to please and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was no lift in the building and our room was on the 6th (top) floor, so it would not suit elderly or disabled guests, but if you are young and able it is all part of the authentic Old Quarter experience.

Not only did they take care of train tickets for us when we were half the country away, but also took care of my mom for tours and transportation with no problems after I left a day early. I would like to specifically mention Ms. Linh for her regular and thorough communication to solve issues prior to arrival.
• David (10/5): Hotel is in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. - A wonderful place to stay in the Old Quarter. The Hotel was under different management this time but Kate and her staff do a fantastic job of providing top service to guests. Everyone was so attentive to our needs - from the check-in, daily cleaning, arranging taxi service, and the check out when leaving. I only had breakfast there once in 12 days because we would sleep too late. But the breakfast we had was delightful. I should mention that the first night when I checked in I was given a wonderful snack of local fresh fruit and tea. I definitely recommend the Elite Hotel to visitors who desire to stay in Hanoi's Old Quarter.

The hotel staff were totally brilliant . So helpful , informative right from the moment we stepped in until our departure , it made our stay in Hanoi really wonderful , would highly recommend and defo go back
• Lindsay (10/5): Fantastic - 5*!!! - The hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful. This was our first stop on our trip around Vietnam and they were able to provide lots of useful information! Highly recommend the food tour that they can arrange - we did it the first night and it helped us get to grips with all the different areas and street food! The hotel is right in the centre of the nightlife but very very quiet!! We did a trip to Halong Bay after staying here and the staff were so kind to let us go back and shower/change before our overnight train. Would highly highly recommend to anyone going to Hanoi!!!
• Chris (8/5): Service simply outstanding - Victoria deserves a customer service gold star and best employee award. She was proactive before we arrived and during our stay. We arrived really early and was offered an upgrade to the sister hotel as the room was not ready until early afternoon. Nice touch and very considerate, although the sister hotel was not so good, dark room and breakfast letting it down. We were glad to return and breakfast and room standard in the Elite puts a lot of five star to shame. Nothing was too much trouble for Victoria. She helped us with onward travel arrangements to Halong bay and even the return to Hanoi airport. Exceptional service and all executed with calm, ease and with a smile
• Dongbae (8/5): comfortable hotel near the lake - clean room and kind staff. but water is low pressure and not to control easy. however it is good and comfortable compared with price. If you want to enjoy atmosphere with lots of traveller, this is the place yuo choose.
• Kareen (10/5): Small hotel, big personality - Great staff, all very friendly and always eager to be of help. Located inside an alley way in the Old Quarter, it is surrounded by markets, restaurants, shops and nightlife (but surprisingly not at all noisy from our 1st floor room). There are no lifts in this building but there's no issue there as the lovely bellboy would take your luggage up to your room, down to the lobby upon check out and escort you out of the alley to your transport. The breakfast crew were incredible. You order your breakfast from a menu (which has a large variety to chose from) and the chef would make it all fresh. There are only about 4 tables in the lobby so may need to wait if there's no table available (fortunately for us, we got lucky and had never had to wait). Great hotel! Thanks for having us!
