• Betty (5/5): Terribly uncomfortable, very disappointing - Nothing Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy much about this hotel stay. The building felt very old, which in itself wouldn’t have been a problem, but there was ongoing construction during our stay and that wasn’t disclosed when we booked, which felt unfair. The bathroom shower was unbelievably small — every time I moved side to side to use the showerhead, I would bump into the controls and accidentally turn the water off. It was really uncomfortable to use. The pillows were also terrible — extremely soft with no support at all. It honestly felt like there was barely anything inside them. We specifically booked a room with a balcony and initially got one, but the balcony door got stuck on the first day and wouldn’t close properly. After that, we avoided opening it because we were worried it wouldn’t shut again, so we basically lost the use of one of the features we paid for. Overall, between the construction, maintenance issues, and lack of comfort, the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Our balcony view was spectacular. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well attended to. I can only find one downside. The lobby is rather small and not all the employees are as willing to help out. Room was cozy but impeccably clean

Eckzimmer im 5 Stock mit Balkon selbst vor dem Badezimmer. Entzückend. Frühstück sehr schlecht organisiert, viel zu wenig Platz, für zu viele Gäste, die z. T. Auf einen Freien Tisch warten mussten. Die Speisen lieblos gedeckt. Der Kaffe(voll) Automat eine Katastrophe. Lange Warteschlangen für eine schlechte Qualität. Die Dusche im Badezimmer miserabel. Dauernd sprang die Große „Dschungeldusche“ aus 2 m Höhe an und beglückte mit einem ( meist kalten) Regenguss. Für Frauen, die auf die Frisur achten eine morgendlichen Katastrophe!

• ifwaikwan (8/5): Nice Hotel - The location is perfect. The room is spacious, except the shower cubicle. I think the air conditioning system not functioned. As a result, we need to open the windows to get more fresh cool air in during night time. On G/F, a sparkling and still water machine available for water refilling,which is good. Also a microwave oven available for use. During our stay, the room keys were deactivated two times without reason, which made us a little but disappointed. Other than this, all good.

• Mark (9/5): Very nice comfortable room with great location. - The room was surprisingly quiet for the great location. I was pleased with everything. Maybe having a fan in the room could help when it gets a little warm

Plateau bouilloire en chambre et pas une machine à café, très agréable quand on ne boit pas de café mais du thé et des tisane (il y avait également du café soluble dispo sur le plateau) Nous avions une chambre à côté de l'ascenseur et nous n'avons pas été dérangé par le bruit du couloir. Petit déjeuner buffet classique mais avec tout ce qu'il faut (boissons, pain, viennoiserie, charcuterie, fromage, oeuf/omelette, fruits, céréale etc.) Rien de particulier, nous avons passé un bon séjour. On entend un peu le bruit de la rue, mais cela ne nous a pas gêné et nous avons pu profiter des jolis vitraux d'origine.

• Camper577644 (10/5): Love this hotel and have stayed many times! - I have stayed in this hotel many times and it never fails! They have been busy refreshing the rooms and updating the electrical since my last visit. I love everything about the hotel. The location is perfect. Steps away from a Metro station but the best thing is it is close to EVERYTHING and walkable but you are in a very great neighborhood without all the crowds. The street has a fabulous pattisserie, fromagerie, a restaurant on the corner that is affordable and the locals eat there so you know you it's not a tourist trap.

The hotel couldn’t provide us with our original booking due to renovations however accommodated us with two separate rooms which worked out perfectly for us two ladies travelling together. • suhera2023 (10/5): Great Hotel - Had an amazing stay here! The receptionists Sereen and Hajr were friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast in our room and it was very tasty. It is in an amazing location with cute cafes and shops. Close to a metro station. The lift is working and our rooms were clean and in good condition.

Le lendemain matin, nous apprenons qu'il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner ! A nous de nous débrouiller... Système de climatisation / chauffage très bruyant même à l' arrêt. Problème signalé mais non résolu la nuit suivante ! Nous avons dû demander à changer de chambre pour la 3e nuit ! Aucun geste commercial proposé. Mauvaise expérience.
• Stephanie (2/5): Staff are the best part of this hotel.. - The staff on reception were extremely polite and friendly, the beds were comfy and the room. Was nice a spacious. There was no toilet in reception, there was what looked like unfinished construction work going on leaving a white dust on our belongings when we had been in reception and the biggest thing was that there was no hot water to have a shower or to bath our child.

• Dominique (1/5): INADMISSIBLE - RIEN Prévenus par message via Booking à 18h46 le jour de notre arrivée que suite à des travaux nous étions relogés dans un autre hôtel à plus de 30 minutes de métro. Hôtel mal situé, déco datée et défraîchie, petit-déjeuner très moyen et pas d’eau chaude… Même pas un appel de l’hôtel Vanneau pour s’expliquer, s’excuser ou savoir si la “solution” proposée nous convenait ! Une honte !

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a good size for an older hotel and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice view from our room. They did not disclose that the hotel was in the midst of a renovation, which seems like poor protocol. The entry and stairs were quite dusty and noisy if we were in our room during the day. The elevator broke after our 2nd day so we had to walk up 4 flights to our room the rest of our stay. They changed all the room locks and didn’t tell us. We discovered this after climbing the 4 flights to our room. We had to return to the desk to get new keys.

L'appât du gain est plus fort que le confort des clients - La chambre et la literie sont de bonne facture Quand l'appât du gain de la Direction nuit au confort des clients. C'est un vrai SCANDALE de faire payer une chambre 250 euros alors que la cage d'escalier est en travaux et que l'ascenseur est en panne. Personne n'a alerté les clients de la situation. La pomme de douche fixe dans la salle de bain est à une hauteur insuffisante. Je fait 1m87 et le pommeau était placé à moins d'1m80. C'est n'importe quoi. Je suis venu 5 ou 6 fois dans cet hôtel mais ce sera la dernière. Aucun respect des clients !!!

• Sandrine (5/5): Pas top ! - L'emplacement est très bien .la jeune femme à l'accueil la journée était très sympathique . l'hotel est en travaux ce qui occasionne beaucoup de désagréments.L'ascenceur ne fonctionnait pas à l'arrivée et monter une valise lourde au 3ème étage sans aide est compliqué, d'autant que le personnel qui m'a accuilli à 21h00 n'était pas très aimable.L'hotel n'est pas insonorisé, j'entendais tous les bruits de la rue malgré le fait que je sois au 3ème étage. pour finir le lundi matin j'ai du me doucher sous un filet d'eau tiède car les travaux perturbaient le bon fonctionnement de l'eau chaude.

• Markus (6/5): A hotel with potential but significant shortcomings. - I chose the hotel because of its good central location and the inviting photos of the cozy rooms. In that respect, I was not disappointed. The location is excellent for quick sightseeing and allows for a safe walk back to the hotel even in the middle of the night, and the room itself was pleasant. What came as an unpleasant surprise, however, was the major renovation currently taking place in the hotel, about which no one informed us in advance and for which no one apologized upon arrival. The receptionist, after finishing her cigarette outside the building, limited herself to a factual listing of the inconveniences we would have to deal with during our stay (no access to the elevator, breakfast served several streets away in another hotel). I would also add: dirty corridors and dust in the air. The condition of the hotel made me glad that I had booked it for only one night. I am attaching photos, including those from breakfast, which my sister and I went to before 8 a.m., only to find an almost empty stand and no bread available. After an hour (!) spent having coffee and cereal, a baguette and two croissants were finally brought out. To be fair, toast bread was available. I can imagine that a stay at the hotel could be enjoyable when it is not undergoing renovation, because it certainly has potential. However, having to stay there during extensive renovation works without any prior notice and at the normal price is, in my opinion, an absolute faux pas.

• beraldicarol (2/5): Avoid it at all costs - We booked this hotel directly because of its location and the elevator, as I was travelling with my mother-in-law and we both have knee injuries. Check-in was very unpleasant. The employee insisted we had not paid anything and tried to charge us the full amount again, despite €238 already being debited from my card on 11 February. He repeatedly claimed it was only a warranty hold. Only after I showed my bank statement did he realise he was mistaken. No apology was offered, and the room keys were banged on the counter in a very passive-aggressive way. We were also not informed before arrival that there were works in the building and that the elevator was not functioning. Given our situation, this was critical information and we would not have chosen this hotel had we known. Overall, very disappointing considering the high price paid.

However, the night receptionist at checkout was extremely rude. We arrived with assistance for our six large suitcases, but at departure we were told no one could help us. His response was dismissive and unprofessional, suggesting we complain to management if we had a problem. • Breakfast relocation and unequal treatment: Breakfast was relocated to another hotel due to renovations. The quality was poor, with limited options and minimal replenishment. We also observed different treatment toward French guests, who received warm croissants served at their tables, while we had to take cold options from the buffet. On our last morning, although we had paid for breakfast, we could not use it because we had an early flight and the additional displacement would have caused delays. • Room comfort issues: Strong smell of fresh paint, weak lighting (one main bulb burned out), extremely small bathroom, and overall lack of comfort.
