We loved the hotel for its clean and well decorated room, the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The location was wonderful. Close to the Picasso Museum, Place des Voges. Easy access to bus line. Grocery stores, bank, cafes, shops less than a block away. It was quiet and we really appreciated the breakfast. Great coffee, fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs, yogurt, fruit, cheese and meats. We highly recommend and hope to return.

Camera piccolina, non era possibile tenere aperto il piccolo trolley che avevamo con noi. Gli scuri non si chiudevano bene e una delle prese vicino al letto era non funzionante. Le piccole imperfezioni ci sono sempre ma visto il costo dell’hotel, il rapporto qualitá/prezzo non è adeguato.
• wanderlust4evermor (2/5): Unreliable Hotel - Sold my room to someone else and gave me one week's notice - This hotel does not honor its reservation policy. I reserved for the night of May 9th, the day before we were flying out from a three-week trip in France. One week before we were supposed to check in, they sent me an email that my reservation was cancelled. I immediately reached out and they claimed I had not provided a credit card to guarantee the reservation. If you reserve on their web site, you CANNOT reserve without providing a valid credit card. I had provided a valid credit card, same one I provided to the various lovely hotels I stayed in for three weeks in France. What I feel occurred here is this was the Victory Day weekend celebration and this hotel had the opportunity to make more money renting both Friday and Saturday rather than just Saturday to us and booted us out. This is extremely poor business policy and caused us to have to really scramble to find a place at the very last minute. I would avoid a hotel with such poor ethics and business policies.

• John (4/5): Apart from my accident which obviously spoilt the stay, it was pleasant though in accommodation that was rather too cram - Comfortable, pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location. The room was too small, especially the shower room. While in the shower room I turned quickly to leave and banged my eyebrow sharply against the glass door which protruded into the doorframe. This is bad architecture. I needed instant medical attention, which fortunately an excellent local doctor provided. Hotel staff were very good at getting me to her. But the hotel needs to rethink its room designs.
• jemcdonald24 (8/5): Enjoyable Stay with Excellent Staff - This is the third year that I have stayed at this hotel. The area is perfect and it is only 5 minutes walk to St Paul Metro Station and a bus stop. Its a lovely area for strolling with many beautiful buildings and Place des Vosges is only a short walk from the hotel. The hotel was very busy when I first arrived and I was not happy with the room I was given as it was very small and had no window with a view. However, when I expressed my concerns the following morning, the Manager and Receptionist made a great effort and succeeded in moving me for the rest of my week's stay to a better room with a view. I appreciated this as it is difficult to find good single rooms. I think part of the problem was that some of the rooms could not be used as the hotel is in a process of renovation. However, there was no noise or disturbance from this. I enjoyed for a small charge, breakfast with a good choice, at the hotel most mornings. The Manager and all staff were pleasant and helpful and special thanks to the housekeeping staff who do excellent work. I would certainly stay here again but would want to check that my room had a view of the outside.

• Pathfinder751336 (10/5): Definite Yesss! - Even though hotel was undergoing renovations, I was not disturbed at all. Everything was very clean, no loud noises bothered us, hotel staff went out of their way to help us is any way possible. We started off by having a misunderstanding, which was resolved quickly. Area is perfect for walking, safe and fun.

• kimberlymA9517TW (10/5): Triple room was perfect for us - We stayed in one of their triple rooms (room 107) and found it to be the perfect size for our group: teenager, mom, grandma. There are 3 beds total: a twin in the entrance room, which is the room that the bathrooms (separate toilet and shower rooms) and main bedroom come off of. The main bedroom had 2 twins (would make a King pushed together). There was a refrigerator (we did not use it), hair dryer, robes, kettle with instant coffee, hangers for clothes, safe, and a refillable glass carafe with glasses. The room was cleaned well daily and towels replaced. It looks like there was A/C for warmer months. There was shower gel and shampoo. Bring your own conditioner and loofah. Large windows open onto the street. Breakfast was good (even had meat and scrambled eggs!). Super close to walk to the St. Paul metro or bus stops. Super quick walk to Place des Vosges. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were all friendly. I would stay here again.

Murs abîmés décrépis, la tv fonctionne mal, obligé de mettre deux petits supports entre le mur et la tv pour capter. Pas de prise dans la salle de bain, ni de support pour poser les trousses de toilettes. Le lit dans la chambre triple se trouve à l'entrée de la porte et de dimension, je pense, inférieure à 90. Si on se lève la nuit, on dérange, de fait, la personne qui dort dans cet espace réduit. La taie d'oreiller avait des reflets jaunâtre par endroit. On se demande si elle a été changée. Sur le lit, en arrivant, se trouvait du linge sale. Cloques de peintures sur les murs. La porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas.Les toilettes de l'hôtel se trouve au sous-sol. On se croirait dans une cave. Payer 778 euros pour trois personnes et pour 2 nuits dans cet hôtel n'est pas justifié car ce n'est pas un trois étoiles.

• Y6098XYchrisl (8/5): Wonderful location in the Marais - Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms are small, as many are in Paris. But on our second week they moved us to a larger room that we were happy with. Clean.

Rooms were on the small side, but they were nicely, decorated and clean. But for the cost, in that neighborhood, it was a great value.
• lisabY3760KC (10/5): I hope to return! - I was very happy with our stay at Hotel Turrenne Le Marais. We had a lovely lovely room and it was quite comfortable and well appointed. The staff is caring and wonderful and the location is perfect. I truly admire the owners for maintaining an affordable hotel and hope this never changes. Don’t expect a modern facility but the most important comforts and charm do not lack and 24 Hour assistance is maintained. It was very quiet.

• Nicholas (6/5): Ok. Great location but facilities can use some help. - Location is great. In a vibrant part of Le Marais district. Not one TV station that was not french language. We are in Europe. German, no. Italian, no. English, no. While I understand we are in France, a first-class city like Paris should welcome other cultures. Adding a few non-french feeds should be in the budget of any decent hotel, certainly one that claims 3-star status.

The reception had to double check we paid for breakfast in advance but were quick to cancel any charges

• B1768AVjonathanc (10/5): No frills, nice time. - First of all the room was a little bit on the smaller side but just fine and workable. A simple stay that includes everything you need to have a nice time exploring the beautiful place of Paris France. Location is great because there's 2 metro stations within 2-4 minute walks from the hotel. View is nothing great or special but it didn't matter for us, as we were there to explore Paris for the first time. Not sure if the rooms on the other side (not on the front face) had a view or a window at all. Bathroom in our room was a small square, if you are on the 'bigger side,' you will have a hard time showering, luckily were not, so it was okay for us. I do believe there are room with bigger baths looking at the hotel pics. Value was good, but like I said, its a simple stay that has everything you need. Breakfast wasnt included but you could opt for it if you wanted, we chose to hit up bolangeries for that real Parisian experience. Room was clean, smelled fine, with no signs or sight of any bugs at all. I really liked the glass carafe that you refill either with your tap or downstairs in the dining area with a nice fountain. I could choose room temp, cold, slightly sparkling or full sparkling at the fill station. Also I filled my own reusable bottle at will, very nice! The hotel staff were nice and pleasant during our stay.

The linen delivery at 2-3am twice in my 6 day stay , again, was not expected. Very close to Bus and Metro, breakfast pastry/bread/coffee shops. Merci!
