Guest Reviews
- Yves (1/5): Dirty - Nothing Everything
- Ruru (9/5): all good - this was my 2nd reservation for this property, I like that it is near my destination and cheap, the room was decent as well. the bathroom smells, and reason of not using it.
- Kryštof (5/5): Passable - Good service, room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. Location also nice, very close to the harbour and metro. Simply too small for two people... Impossible to sleep comfortably, or do anything in the room.
- Andrey (8/5): Very good -
- Karl (7/5): Great - Good location, clean, reasonable price.
- Mohd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlota (1/5): Bad -
- Mirela (7/5): Nice Stayover - Great location, clean room and friendly staff. They also provided slippers, toilet paper, tooth brush and tooth paste. Overall, it was a good choice. You can't really find anything cheaper and better in Hong Kong. I was only able to pay cash which meant I had to pay £10 extra because Booking.com was paying this amount for me as part of their offer. It was confusing and a bit complicated to find the actual building, the reception of the guest house is on a completely different floor than where the actual rooms are. The room itself was nice, however the halway and the floors of the buildings itself don't looks that safe and appealing, so don't have very high expectations. Also, the hair dryer wasn't working at all.
- Erwan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Bridger (7/5): Good -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- .. (10/5): Excellent customer service. - Clean facilities and excellent staff, especially Siska, Belle, Chris, and Mae! Good job and keep it up!
- Ying (5/5): only one night and no further more comments. - I like the location however the condition of room and bathroom is not satisfied. it is not worth with HK$800. location really good, 100meter to subway and every where you can find food
- Akhlaqur (9/5): Superb - Very clean & wifi are very strong also receptionist speak english. The lift are slow
- Adal (7/5): Good -
- Gung (10/5): Decent and basic! Just a bed and toilet for the night! Overall was OK. - Location location location All ok
- Ruru (8/5): good - Mabait yung receptionist and, Good thing na malapit madaling puntahan yung location ang walking distance lang sa ibang tourist spots. ok naman yung room, malinis. yung building itself lang talaga yung hindi. but over all, will stay here again. I didn't like that ang tagal ng elevator. and cash yung bayad, kasi may 5% mark up pag CC.
- Hao (1/5): Sucks. - Location Extra 5% charge for visa and master without letting me know earlier when they could have just charge upon booking
- Emma (4/5): Poor cleaning, toilet didnt flush. - Friendly staff, great location We have stayed several times at hostels in Chung King or Miradoor Mansions so we knew what to expect. Yes, the rooms are small but that is normal for HK and the price of hotels. What was disappointing was that the toilet would not flush. They tried to fix it but there seemed to be a problem with the plumbing or water pressure - not great when you have 2 young children! The bathroom was not particularly clean and the walls near the bed had also not been cleaned. Yes, the rooms are small and can be a little outdated but there is no reason for poor cleaning. Other places in this building I have stayed at cleanliness was not a problem, and for this reason I won't be staying with this hotel again.
- Yuk (6/5): Still OK - Just have a place to stay near the transportations The rough entrance hall
- Karl (10/5): I will book again! - Stuff was very kind, the whole place was very clean and looked inviting. I booked a single room and it was nice looking and very clean but a little small. For one night absolutely acceptable though. If l stayed longer l would choose a bigger room.
- Fedor (10/5): Good guesthouse! - Everything was perfect, friendly staff, clean rooms
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- Kristin (9/5): Good cheap hotel - Despite in a run-down building, my room though small was surprisingly very clean! Hot shower works very well. The reception lady is a Filipina so i was able to get all the information i need. Location is at the same building where the best currency exchange are and so near to both bus stop and train stations!
Just disregard those indians offering stuff at the ground floor lol! Not their fault but the elevator is too small for a busy building. There are a number of cheap hotels/homestays that share two 8-person-capacity elevators. Also, avoid the elevators at around 11am-2pm, they collect the trash and use the elevator 100%. I once had to walk 11 floors down because of this
Also, some occupants disregarded the quiet time as there was loud talking after midnight
Also word of caution for tall individuals, since room is small, length of the bed is good for a 5'5" person at the most. Taller people won't be able to stretch their body.
- Alexis (3/5): I’d preffer to sleep in prison - Location There was an issue at the hotel, and they moved us to another (worst) one in the same building. The fridge was impossible to use because of something rotten from a previous tenant. I asked if I could pay in US dollars in advance; they said yes, but when they charged me, they overcharged, even offering to refund me in local currency
- Jatinder (10/5): Exceptional - Staff very friendly, nice location
- Akhlaqur (9/5): Superb - The staff working at the reception also a philippines staff Bells, are very welcoming working very hard. The lift are too slow
- Pruek (7/5): Good - Location. Room is quite new because it just renovated.
Staff is well communicate and helpful. This mansion is very crowded .
Owner is too thinking off his benefit. I asked him about room rate if i stay one more night ,he give me higher price than the first night . (He want to compensate with the lower price in the first night
- Anton (1/5): Don't stay here. Just don't - Nothing. The location is ok, but nothing more Firstly, you need to wait around 15 minutes just to take a lift. After that, you'll be in a quite dirty lobby. And the worst thing? They cancelled my booking and didn't even tell booking or me about that. I made all the way from the airport to this place, and they didn't bother themselves letting me know that. Great work, guys.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Location and cleanliness Nothing so far so good worth for the nice price
- Hardeep (10/5): Exceptional - Customer service friendly staff well organised room
- Tak (9/5): Superb - Management, staffs, and facilities were all above satisfactory.
- Snapshooter (5/5): Staffs have no proper coordinations which resulted to stressful stay 🙂 - Great location, walking distance from tourist spots within Tsim Sha Tsui 👍👌☺️ 👎 I have made an advance cash payment to Kris (Pinay) for another one more night stay booked via Booking. com. Then when we went out for a walk early morning on the following day, when we return the door in our room was widely open as per order of Roy to take out our things/luggages outside our room. It happened because Kris did not update the records of occupied rooms for extension. Obviously the staffs have no proper coordinations. It was really disappointing seeing your stuffs are not safe in Park Guest House although nothing was stolen in our things 😔
👎 They accept short time stay in this guesthouse, so its not advisable to book a double room.
👎 There's cockroaches crawling everywhere.
- Snapshooter (5/5): The room is not ready yet on check in time 😕 - Great location, just walking distance from TST Promenade. There's unli hot water and coffee if there's available stock. They gave free tissue also. I like the staff named Bel. She is very cheerful and helpful. Thank you 👍👌🙂 👎 Booking.com usually offers a free room upgrade to me as a 3rd level member. But this Park Guest House kept us waited for 30 minutes beyond the check in time, before we were able to go and have a rest in our room.
👎 They accept short time stay in this guesthouse, so i think its better to book a triple or family room.
👎 There's cockroaches crawling everywhere.
- Shaheryar (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (7/5): Good - Staff, location Building is run-down, elevator is busy
- Parvinder (10/5): great experience - location nothing
- Daille (5/5): Good location, staff unworried, the hostal needs more clarity about the entrance and organization. - The location is very good, it’s near from metro and the coast. Staff is unworried about her guests and on booking address says 15th floor, but the entrance to the host is unclear, but when you finally arrive, there was a paper on the wall that said “pls check in on 11th floor” 🤣 omg and I arrived with two big suitcase.
- Charles (5/5): Acceptable for the price in hk - Location is great
Staff is friendly and cooperative Most of the hostels in this buildings share the same reception lobby, you never know if you will get the same room that you have booked here. If you have stayed at this area before, you know exactly what to expect from those rooms.
- Malayo (8/5): Very good - Worth the price. 150HK$ per night is a steal.
- Warren (5/5): you get what you pay for - was relatively cheap, had brand new AC room was small, lot of unrelated stuff stored under the bed, curtain did not really block out light, still a bit noisy from both the street and the hallway. toilet and shower were in another room.
- Tatiana (3/5): Poor - Location. Personal was helpful. Towels could be changed by request. Iron was provided by request as well. Dirty. Big queue for elevator. I have never seen so many cockroaches :((
- Oleary (9/5): Superb - Great location and great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful :)
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - super convenient, easy access to different public transport. staff ar very helpful and kind. room was clean and they provided certain toiletries.
- Dhir (10/5): Exceptional - Cleaned rooms really liked it!
Great network
Cooperative staff
Great ambience
Really appreciated
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good experience - Great service
Great room
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not recommended - This hotel is not recommended because the pneumonia epidemic does not let you leave the room and it is not easy to communicate!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A tiny room for a tiny price and excellent location.
Chambres ultra petite globalement propre.
Par contre des cafards.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Free bottled water
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A good stay for my trip
- Kin San (10/5): -

- Alister (10/5): Perfect Short Stay - Highly recommended hotel in central HK. Park Inn is my go-to hotel in Hong Kong. The pricing is fantastic for the location and like all HK hotels it's a small room. Clean, hospitable and excellent - cannot fault this hotel and the staff go out of their way to ensure you're comfortable.
- Kin San (10/5): -

- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- Jin (6/5): - Location is pretty good, but sheets are worn and with spots which makes me feel not clean. TV was out of order and replaced under my request. It had huge moving noise through out one night, but there was no hotel work to intervene. Room is extremely small and only fit for sleep purpose.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Excelent location.
Is a little "business hotel"
Not recommended for couples
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Di (8/5): Worth Every Dollar!!! - I was nervous and excited about my solo trip to Hong Kong but I agree with the good reviews given to Park Inn! Well-deserved!
Cons:
1. I was confused at first at what landmark or what the building looked like. You have to look for Chungking Mansions that’s right in front of the Pedestrian Crossing along Nathan Road. The building looks chic in the exterior which would be great if the photo was included in the guide. The area around the entrance is just crowded with people. Just say Park Inn and go directly to the elevators to your left.
2. The elevator takes you to 15flr then you have to check in at Room A9 first. There wasn’t a instruction for this but there was a kind staff around to tell me. : )
Pros:
1. The staff there were very accommodating despite me arriving around 12:30 (check-in was 1pm!). Multilingual staff too! Super kind from start to end!
2. The room fits one and is really made for travellers on the go. Comfy bed and clean sheets, the private bathroom was okay too. They had good supply of hot water which was a big plus!
3. If you love shopping and want convenience of stay, I recommend staying here. Train station entrance is 2mins away and Victoria harbour view is a 5 minute walk. Lots of things to do in walking distance.
4. You can rest well with the security locks of the inn.
5. Price is well worth it! And you save on transportation costs too because you’re near bus stations and the main MTR lines!
Thank you for making my HK trip memorable!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No safe and premium bed sheets as described. Had to ask for towel one day and toilet roll the next
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cheap, but tiny rooms, with long queues for lift - The room was very small approx 70 sq. foot rather than the advertised 100sq. Ft.. The size and height of bed gave storage space under, otherwise no space.
No safe or desk as advertised. Communal kitchen? Where.
There was a tv, but without a remote, on manual controls pictures very poor, and only a few channels.
One plus was a ceiling fan, although noisy.
Front desk is in one of the other 'hotels' on the floor.
Main problems were access... Lift queues could mean anything up to 30 minute wait to get up or down from the 15th floor. Park Inn is one of 5 cheap 'hotels' on the same floor, all run by same person, with many other 'hotels' on the other floors. Chungking Mansions has a rather dubious reputation for various reasons, but is still a reasonable budget place to stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff are pleasant and friendly. Cleanliness is superior.
The air con is poor. It always feels too hot, often stuffy, and they even have a sign saying do not turn it below 25 degrees!
The tv channel selection is poor, and tv reception is also poor.
- Alister (10/5): Perfect Budget Stay - Perfect stay - recommended no frills but clean, low cost hotel
- Alister (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Fantastic stay at Park Inn..highly recommended 10/10
- Verified traveler (2/5): Park inn hotel review - The worst hotel i ever stay.
*Room super small.
*Found previous customer left over diapers and milk bottom.
*Bath room water dripping over nite.
*Sleeping in nite air-con heavy drippping on my bed.
*I booked 2nite stay. Room make up without refill new water bottoms. Saw a post on wall saying to get free daily water bottle refill by like they facebook page.
*I asked for rubber band from service staff n counter staff. Both answer me No rubber band.
*Tv not working. I called staff to check. He say tv spoiled. No other tv to do exchange. I requested for change room. The guy didnt get back to me.
I happy with.
*Room with big bed as i requested.
- lisa (6/5): Great location and that’s about it - Arriving was confusing as the taxi took us to a place Chungking Mansions with no sign of Park Inn in sight. As it happens Chungking Mansions is a market and guest houses all in one massive building. The location is excellent - close to the subway, park, the skyline/light show is a 5minute walk down the road. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were very smiley and as you walked into the corridor it always smelled of fresh linen. Nothing else positive can be said about the place. Our room was beyond tiny. about 1 metre square standing space which meant if 1 of us wanted to do anything that required standing the other had to wait on the bed. Speaking of the bed, it was so uncomfortable. Never have I experienced dead arms but I did sleeping in this bed and felt like I had to keep turning over to give each hip a break! The ‘bathroom’ was actually a shower cubicle with a toilet and sink crammed in. The shower was over the toilet and with the semi translucent sliding shower doors privacy was hard to come by might as well just have the toilet in the room with no doors. One lift was broken so always a queue for the lift. On Friday night we waited 20mins in the lift queue and on Saturday at 12.30am we waited 40 MINUTES in a queue of about 100 people. The only stairs we found came out into a shopping mall next door but at this time of night it was closed so we had no other option than to wait in the queue.Never felt unsafe but some questionable characters loitering in the entrance.
- Rolf (6/5): This may not be a fair time - One of two elevators was out of service and may be for a bit yet,
So long lines formed to access the 15th floor location, adding considerable time to get to and from the place.
For the price one should expect to get simple accommodation and one does.
It was clean, the staff were friendly, the location is central in Kowloon, , and it would be ok for short stays and low budget travellers
- Sam (8/5): Fantastic location and very cheap - Fantastic location and very cheap and you get a bit more than what you pay for. If you're after a short stay this hotel is very conveniently located, clean and very cheap. It's not pretty and the bathroom is average and the room was tiny, but if you just want to sleep in your room and dump your bag to explore HK then its perfect.
- Giselle (8/5): Good location - Location was perfect. Only downfall was the elevator situation. There are only two elevators that are the only entry point for all the gueshouses in the building. At times it took up to 30 minutes to get to our room due to the line. Also, it was a bit hard to locate the guesthouse at first however; other than that, it was a good stay for the price.
- Pmc (8/5): Small room but effective - Room was small but adequate for one person.
Staff very friendly and hotel right in the middle of all the action.
Private washroom but extremely small. Washroom doubles as a shower which can get quite wet.
Bed sheets changed every two days and room cleaned daily.
Overall pretty great taking in consideration the price and the fact that it is in Hong Kong.
- Verified traveler (6/5): excellent location - for the money excellent value. comfy mattress, hairdryer, air con, electric fan, powerful shower. cleaned and bedding changed, free hot beverages, free shampoo and body wash, tv, 5 mins walk from Victoria Harbour and 1 min from train station. This room is for sleeping only as it is very small but do-able.
However, the building in which this and many other hotels are located, you have to run the gauntlet with the Indians and Africans trying to sell you everything. Unusual to be hassled like this in Hong Kong. But once you get over the initial intimidation its ok. There are also security guards for the whole building
- Ric (2/5): Switched room on first day to another location - I booked Park Inn and when I arrived, I was told no room at Park Inn and was ushered to a 1 star accommodation located at the next tower block. The inn had another name some co-operative hotel. The room was dirty and toilet smelly. A dead cockroach was spotted on the floor outside. I was told I could stay at Park Inn. The Park Inn Room was much better. The ratings given was because of this change of room. I felt cheated.
- Phil (8/5): Good location and good value - For £35 and a very short stopover it was great value for money. Good location right next to Tsim Sha Tsui metro station. Easy link to the airport. Right in the middle of town for shopping, restaurants and only a short walk to the harbour. Knutsford Terrace was only 10 minute walk, very buzzy place for dinner and drinks if you can find it!
Locating the hotel was the hardest part. It's inside Chungking Mansions and only 1 lift serving 15 floors. Nobody to greet us initially, no obvious front desk, but once in the room it was exactly what we thought. Beds were ok, aircon was excellent, pillows very good. Shower/toilet was a wet room but they provide flip flops to keep your feet dry.
Lots of water provided for free and a fridge to store stuff. Overall great value hotel.
- ERic (4/5): This place is almost imposable to find. - I was walking around the building which has this hotel - few rooms on 15th flow - for an hour. No signs or directions at all. You must enter building / shopping area and look for signs close to elevator.
- me (10/5): good for Hong Kong. - Tiniest hotel room I've been in. For almost aud$100 i expected more but this is what hong kong is. If you can afford it - pay a little more and get more space. Tiny tiny tiny. But outside the hotel is an amazing atmosphere. I'd book here again!
- KARREN ANNE (8/5): - WE SPENT 4 NIGHTS AT THIS HOTEL. OUR ROOM IS NOT SPACIOUS BUT I THINK IT'S ENOUGH SINCE WE WILL JUST SLEEP AND IT'S BUDGETED. THE STAFFS ARE VERY KIND AND ACCOMMODATING. WE STAYED HERE BECAUSE OF ITS GOOD LOCATION. RECOMMENDED FOR TRAVELLERS!
- Shariq (2/5): Smallest room in the world - It's really smallest room
- Martyn (10/5): Good Value Hotel, Great Location & Friendly Staff! - Central located with shops, restaurants and transport right on your doorstep with buses and 2 MTR entrances right outside. Park Inn is one of many hotels within the same building. Convenient lift on the left to the 15th floor. Quite high up but it is quiet and the walk in area was fresh and clean with a white tiled floor compared to other hotel floors which were run down and no way near as nice. Check-in was easy with the help of a guy called Sam who was very pleasant and helpful in any way. Hotels main door was heavy duty and secure with keycard access followed by your own room door which also used keycard. I had a triple room being 6ft 5 so thought for the little extra was worth it and also a friend was possibly to follow. Beds were solid in construction thankfully for being heavy and the way it was designed gave you ample room underneath for suitcases. The shower room was adequate and functional with provided shower gel etc. with wet room style flooring. Most importantly how clean was the place? Well daily sheets /towels changed and the room was given a good clean and floor washed thoroughly. The cleaner Karen is a great asset to this hotel who is thorough in her job, very pleasant and made an extra effort to say hi most days in passing. So all in all the hotel is a great location, good value for long stays like mine and has very pleasant and helpful staff. If you want a bigger fancy room go pay £80+ a night elsewhere but I found it manageable and will be back!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bustling area but great location. - The place you want to be: nearby Hong Kong's TST metro station. If you don't mind cramped but clean space for a few days, this is the place to stay -- in the middle of it all, shopping, tours, etc.
- Janet Sing (6/5): Double beds are small, I had booked extra room - It's not very pleasant at the entrance of building, kind of scary with the sales people. The room size is small, the double bed only fit 2 small size people. End up booked one more room with hotel.com for the 3 nights stay
