• Kelly (2/5): Run. - Location was good, that’s it. I am writing this review as we hope it will improve the conditions for future guests, as we were severely disappointed. My husband and I booked our stay here for three days, and arrived on a Wednesday. The business let us know the day of that their restaurant was closed, so the staff at the restaurant next door would be helping us check in. Not the worst problem, but it was a bit odd having a random person get us settled in. The lady was very polite though she didn’t have any extra information for us other that where our room was, (which makes sense as it’s not her business) it was nothing bad it was just a bit odd as they didn’t have their own staff there to welcome us. We should also note this is not a traditional hotel, it was more of an apartment (no front desk etc.) Once we got inside, it was quite shocking how different the room and bathroom are from the photos. As this is listed as a 3-star hotel, you’d expect a beautiful feel and quality to the room, though it was much more of a dorm room kind of feel, and was extremely basic. Our main concerns occurred when I went into the bathroom and the smell from the shower drain was very strong (sewage/old drain odour) and the black mould along the bottom of the shower and the shower tile were an instant indicator to us that this was not a top quality spot. Please see the photos for some of the mould, and again for the listing photo where it shows the shower as “spotless”. Please bleach or re-caulk the shower..!! Looking around further, the pump on the soap bottle was dirty, there was a strong musty smell from the twin bed (we booked the triple room), the clear plastic chairs had dried bits of what looked like chocolate/dark brown spots, and the sconces were FILLED with dust. The sconces were also 5ft off the ground on the wall, not way up high, so they were very easy to look into (and would be so easy to clean.) My husband is 6ft tall, and he could also see the top of the wardrobe was covered in dust.

• Dariusz (8/5): Wygodny pobyt w Wenecji - Obiekt świetnie położony w turystycznym sercu Wenecji. Wszędzie blisko. W okolicy masa restauracji i sklep spożywczy. Wygodne dotarcie na miejsce z lotniska za pomocą Alilaguna. Personel miły i przyjazny. Wstawaliśmy z samego rana na śniadanie i było smaczne, choć niewielki wybór. Ostatniego dnia personel zgodził się przechowywać nasz bagaż, co uważam za wielki plus. Apartamenty to tak naprawdę mieszkanie podzielone na kilka lokali. Drzwi wejściowe do mieszkania zabezpieczone są normalnym zamkiem. Natomiast drzwi do pokojów mają prosty zamek do zastosowań wewnątrz mieszkań. Prawdopodobnie klucz do jednego apartamentu otwiera wszystkie pozostałe (tak to wyglądało, ale nie testowałem). W pokoju pojawiały się komary pomimo zamkniętych okien. Raz zdarzyło się, że nie było ciepłej wody, ale problem szybko rozwiązano.

Unfortunately, our expectations regarding the room were not met, and the price to quality was low - there were no mosquito screens on the windows and since nobody warned us about the mosquitoes, we opened the window and many flew into the room. My girlfriend ended up having a severe allergic reaction - the air conditioning was not working properly - the soundproofing was very poor, every single step could be heard - there was dust under the sofa and on top of the wardrobe - the breakfast was very poor, with no vegetables on the table at all, and the bread seemed to be yesterday’s bread reheated - we were promised that breakfast would be brought to us in the evening because we had an early check-out, but this was not done - the room smelled strongly of chlorine after cleaning when we checked in

Kocken visade oss rummet o frukosten var god med cappuchino croissant mm. Extra plus för den charmiga restaurangen med välsmakande mat o underbar personal. Närheten till Rialtobron o alla andra platser man vill se.

• Giulia (10/5): - Bellissimo soggiorno a Venezia alla Taverna San Lio, i proprietari gentilissimi ci hanno accolto con un check in anticipato per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. Camera familiare come da foto, dimensioni generose, pulizia perfetta, colazione sia dolce che salata a nostra disposizione nella sala del ristorante. Apprezzatissima la possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio al momento del check out, da poter ritirare più tardi nel pomeriggio. Consiglio a tutte le famiglie un soggiorno presso questa struttura!

L’accueil est agréable, le personnel arrangeant car nous avons pu laisser nos valises à l’arrivée et au départ afin de continuer à nous balader. L’emplacement est idéal car à proximité des lieux mythiques de Venise. La chambre possède toutes les comodites nécessaires. Petit problème d’eau chaude qui ne venait plus par certains moments. Par ailleurs l’hôtel se trouve dans le quartier le plus fréquenté de Venise donc il y a du monde en permanence des que l’on sort dans la rue. Pour ceux qui aiment le calme je conseille un hôtel même à 5-7 mins à pied plus loin qui peut faire la différence.

Equidistant de tres accesos clàssics de la ciutat, en primer lloc Rialto, però també de San Marco o Fondamente Nuove, i a una mitja horeta de passejada deliciosa fins la Ferrovia, et permet gaudir de la sublim poesia visiva que emana la que en la meva modesta opinió, basada en un parell de decenes de visites, la més bella ciutat del món, incomparable amb qualsevol altre, ja que competeix en una altra categoría, i a la que només pots retreure que tanta bellesa t'arriba a colpir i que resulta dificil d'assimilar. Per aquest motiu normalment faig estades limitades en el temps, deixant espai per la següent visita. A aquest establiment hi trobareu la genuinitat veneta, i quan us lliurin les claus d'accés a les portes que us fan arribar a la vostra estança, us sentireu inmediatament com a residents de la ciutat, ja que l'estructura és la d'un pis convencional en la que podria residir un venecià. Dins l'habitació teniu tots els serveis habituals, amb bany ben equipat, televisor, aire condicionat, i café/te de cortesia. Una petita nevera també resulta molt útil. Esmorzar continental ideal per viatgers que valoren la qualitat i professionalitat del producte i atenció del personal. D'altra banda el que realment et fa inmillorable l'estada és el calor humà que et dona el staff. Giuglio és una persona extraordinària, calida, empàtica, professional i tot el que emana d'ell i la resta del personal és una declaració poètica d'amor al mestiere. Us recomano que també dediqueu atenció al restaurant. Aquí trobareu una cuina elaborada que barreja tradició amb el gust refinat de l'alta cuina amb producte de gran qualitat i millor elaboració. Grazie ancora, siete statti tutti bravissimi. Alla prossima...W San Marco!

• Sabatino (4/5): - La posizione e la cortesia dello staff. La stanza aveva due finestre che aprivano su muri o finestre ad una distanza di meno di mezzo metro. Impossibile tenere gli scuri aperti. Stanza piccola. Ammessi animali nella struttura per cui abbiamo avuto disturbo dalla stanza vicina fino a tardi la sera. 150 euro a notte francamente non li vale. A colazione le uova sode erano chiaramente surgelate. Non tornerò.

• mm.dubert (7/5): Apartament z potencjałem. - Apartament znajduje się w bardzo przyjemnej lokalizacji, która jest świetną bazą wypadową do wielu ważnych zabytków Wenecji. W pobliżu znajduje się dużo sklepów, restauracji i lodziarni, więc można naprawdę dobrze się najeść :) Apartament znajduje się na piętrze restauracji. Poza naszym były jeszcze trzy inne. Zdjęcia ogólnie oddają to, jak wygląda, ale jak się wchodzi to czuć, że można go nieco odświeżyć. Niczego nie brakowało na krótki wypad, ale wyposażenie jest mocno podstawowe :) Pokój czysty i ciepły. Dostaliśmy też całkiem sporo ręczników. Łóżko wygodne, woda ciepła. Metraż wystarczający dla dwóch osób. Przyjazna obsługa, która zawsze stara się pomóc, jak jest jakiś problem. Śniadanie smaczne, we włoskim stylu (ciasteczka, rogaliki, dżemy, do tego jeden rodzaj pieczywa i szynki), serwowane jest w restauracji na dole. Na dwa dni - wystarczające. Jeśli nie macie wielkich wymagań, a nocleg ma służyć jedynie jako miejsce do spania i kąpieli - jak najbardziej ok :) Cena nie była wybitnie wygórowana, jak na Wenecję, więc na rejon adekwatna do tego, co dostajemy :) Nie wiem, jak to możliwe że nikt o tym nie pisze, ale hałas w tym apartamencie jest okropny. Nie chodzi tu o hałasy z ulicy, które można zmniejszyć zasłaniając okiennice i zamykając okna, ale o hałasy dobiegające ze środka. Słychać absolutnie wszystko, co dzieje się w pokojach obok oraz na korytarzu. Każdy śmiech, płacz dziecka, kroki, nawet suszenie włosów czy korzystanie z toalety jest tak wyraźne, że czuje się jakby to było w tym samym pomieszczeniu. Drzwi wejściowe do części apartamentowej trzeba za sobą zatrzaskiwać, więc łomot drzwi wspólnych potrafi obudzić o każdej porze. Jak masz wrażliwy sen - zastanów się nad tym miejscem. Dodatkowo małym minusem jest krótki czas podawania śniadania. Dostaliśmy informację, że jest ono dostępne jedynie w godzinach 8-10. Pierwszego dnia, przychodząc o 9:00 nie mieliśmy już zbyt dużego wyboru, bo nie zostało dołożone nic na stół. Musieliśmy się zadowolić rogalikiem i kawą.
