- Ömer (2/5): - Positief was het uitzicht: aan de ene kant de galata toren aan de andere kant de brug. Wat minder was: Dat we een 3 persons kamer kregen ipv de geboekte 4 persons. Dat we elke avond de belofte kregen dat we morgen een grotere kamer zouden krijgen, we netjes al onze spullen inpakken en savonds weer met zijn vieren ons op drie bedden moesten proppen. Als alternatief kregen we een BABY matras als extra bed zonder beddengoed en zonder kussen. De mannen zagen er uit alsof je daar beter geen ruzie mee kon maken, dus hebben we ons Rustig gehouden (geen prettig volk behalve de jongen , isa, die ons heeft geholpen met het vinden van een parkeerplaats!). Het beddengoed was kapot, de kamers waren matig schoon en verouderd, het ontbijt was om te huilen (ik zag de smerige keuken waarin het bereid werd en wij hebben alle dagen buiten ontbeten). Toen ik ging douchen stopte het water halverwege. Na 5min te wachten kwam er wel weer net genoeg water om mijn haren uit te spoelen. Parkeerplaats was NIET aanwezig terwijl ze dit wel vermelden. De kamers waren erg gehorig, wij konden alles horen wat onze buren deden. WiFi werkte ook niet in onze kamer. In alle andere hotels waar we waren zat er op zijn minst water in de minibar, deze minibar was leeg. De foto’s geven absoluut niet weer wat je krijgt als je hier boekt. Mijn man sliep in de auto beter dan op de kamer van dit hotel.
- Youliya (6/5): - Отель находится рядом с ж/д станцией и паромными терминалами,что очень удобнл,если у вас позднее прибытие в центр города.Номера и состояние душевых старое,но удобные кровати и тепло в номере. Завтрак подается на веранде с красивым видом. Переночевать ночь вполне подходит.
- MAKSIM (10/5): Достойный отель за небольшие деньги! - Отличный отель за не большие деньги! Расположение очень замечателое и не далеко от площади Султанахмет со всеми досторимечательностями, Айя-София, Голубая мечеть и т. д. А также от Галатского моста через который можно спокойно попасть на азиатскую часть Стамбула! Рядом и станция метро Мармара и паромная переправа!

- Izzet (8/5): It is good - For this price it was good. Stuff does not smile often but help you. We had two double rooms. One was big and fresh with a good view. The other one was pretty small and bad view. Breakfast and terrace is very nice.

- Olga (8/5): Уютно, но тесновато - Отель неплохой, завтраки нормальные, терраса уютная, расположение реально суперудобное. Только слишком маленькие комнатки- негде развернуться (буквально). Одноместный номер где-то 7 кв.м. Кровать комфортная, но занимает почти всю комнату, трудно протиснуться между ней и стеной. Звукоизоляция слабая, все разговоры у лифта слышны. Справедливости ради скажу, что с улицы шума практически нет- отель в тихом месте. Wi-Fi работал приемлемо. Могу рекомендовать для краткосрочного пребывания неприхотливым туристам.

- Ahmed (2/5): Bad experience - pros - Location Cons - Not replying to emails - The internet is not stable - rooms and bathrooms are not clean - Hotel is outdated - Shouting when we had pictures of the breakfast 25 mins before the end time of the breakfast when they said that it's finished and if you want to have everything come early - Made a problem for us to reserve transportation to another airport and when I realized that we are going the wrong direction they refused to change the direction except after paying 30 more euros.

Rooms are clean , but very very small, and there is no elevator so if you need to stay in this hotel do not carry a big suitcase and be light.

I showed the booking code and they put us in another hotel for the first day. And 2nd 3rd days, they put us seperated (2 peep 2 rooms). And they said they did it for us to be more "comfortable" but it was obvious that they didnt have a 4 peep room.

You can easily walk to the main sightseeing and also there are lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The room was really clean and comfort.
- Дарья (6/5): - Главное достоинство отеля - месторасположение. До основных достопримечательностей, до пристани у Золотого Рога - 10-15 минут пешком. Недалеко есть остановка трамвая. Вокруг полно кафе, ресторанов и мест для уличной еды, нет недостатка в сувенирных магазинах и продуктовых маркетах. Сам по себе отель годится только для того, чтобы в нем ночевать. Завтрак весьма скромный, ванные комнаты в стандартных номерах тесные, зато нет проблем с горячей водой. На верхние этажи ведет винтовая лестница, по которой очень неудобно поднимать чемоданы.

- Mostapha (4/5): The room smelled like urine - First of all the room was unbelievably small. The bed fits from wall to wall, and beside the bed there's a TV stand, and that's it. You can't walk in the room. There is literally 1 square meter of space to put your luggage and move about in the room. The room smelled horrible (strong urine smell) and I had to mask it out with perfume to be able to sleep at night. What tops all this is that at check-out they made me pay again (I had already paid online on expedia.com). I tried to explain that I had already paid online using credit card, but they wouldn't accept it. So there you go, I paid twice for an insanely small, horribly smelling room. On the plus side, the location of the hotel is very convenient. One minute walk to Sirkeci tramway station. And with tramway from Sirkeci you can go to all the major attractions within minutes (not to mention Sirkeci itself is a nice place to hang out).
- Greg (10/5): Great find - perfect location - The Hurriyet Hotel is a budget hotel in the perfect location to explore the historical part of Istanbul. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff speak quite good english and are very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and included cheeses, tomato, cucumber, olives, bread, spreads, tea and coffee etc. There are many places to eat from the cheap up and plenty of shops nearby too. It is very quiet - double glazing - tucked away in a side street and yet very handy to tram, train and ferries. All the main attractions of the Sulthanamet old quarter are within walking distance and the tram line is a convenient location marker when you are getting used to the area. Hint the best maps are available free from the information at the Sirkce railway station. it is easy to get to and from the airport by using the tram and train services which costs only 3 YTL.. All of Istanbul ie Taksim Square can be easily reached from there by using the ferries and trams etc. If you are looking for a cheap handy hotel in Istanbul this is one I can heartily recommend.
