The room was spacious and the staff were friendly, daily cleaning services available. Decent shared kitchen for food and drink facilities. Comfy bed and pillows and mini fridge was useful. Quite expensive for the room itself, however Rome seems very expensive as a city break overall. The room was quite nosy, mostly from shower/pluming of the rooms next door.

• Mzia (10/5): My friends and I were very satisfied withAntony Guesthouse. - The place is beautiful, quiet, clean, normal. The metro and bus stops are also close, as well as the Termini train station. The room is clean, tidy. The linen is good, the internet is normal. There is no smell in the bathroom. The elevator works well. The kitchen is shared, but very comfortable. If I have to go to Rome, I will definitely stay here again. Most importantly, the host is very kind and promptly solves any problem. My high recommendation. It would be great if they changed the towels every day or every 2 days. The cleaner needs a reminder to change the towels.

What I liked the most was the location – it’s very close to the metro (Line B), only about 3 minutes walking, which made it really easy to get around the city. The room was also spacious and very clean, which made the stay comfortable. Also, my flight was delayed by one hour, but the host kindly waited for me to complete the check-in, which I really appreciated. Overall, a very good experience. However, there were a few things I didn’t like. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from the other rooms, like people using the bathroom or taking showers. Also, early in the morning and late in the evening there was quite a lot of noise coming from the kitchen – footsteps, dishes, and general activity. It seemed like people might be living there and going to work, but it was happening every morning before 6 am and again after 10 pm, which was a bit disturbing.

• Chia Marii (9/5): Peaceful stay - Really liked the location. Place is really safe, didn't expect to be so near the embassies and other military related buildings so there were numerous security patrols around the neighbourhood. The apartment itself is well maintained, except that the front desk is empty. If there is any problem, the "front desk" is contactable via WhatsApp, thus it's actually really quiet as guests would be out for the day. The shared kitchen and washing machine is good for use. Really quiet and peaceful place to stay in. At least two supermarkets in the area, and some good restaurants nearby. About 10mins walking to Termini, and less than 5mins to Castro Pretorio Station (Line B). SIT bus from Airport stops near Termini. Staff is helpful but not friendly. Will be nice if the staff can say "Thanks" and "Goodbye, hope to see you again!" when we checked out, even if it's through messaging. :(

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and the location made exploring Rome effortless. Great central location, but our ‘non-smoking’ room clearly hadn’t been respected by previous guests—strong smoke smell that didn’t clear even after hours of ventilation. Would recommend better enforcement of the non-smoking policy and a deep clean/ioniser between stay

• Elizabeth Buie (8/5): Clean, comfortable, friendly. - The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The host lifted my suitcase onto the support for me. They let me store my bags there after I checked out and before I caught my train to my next location; they even provided a set of keys specifically for that purpose. The location was close to a stop on several major bus routes. Although the building had a lift to upper floors, one had to climb a short flight of stairs to get to it.

We were able to leave luggage after check-out at Reception until we departed, which was appreciated. The elevator failed on one occasion (5th floor), and the cost of our stay was higher than usual, probably due to Jubilee Year bookings. There is no breakfast supplied, but easy enough to go out to a bar/cafe.

Communication via WhatsApp is prompt, and the staff exhibits friendliness and attentiveness. He personally greeted us at the main entrance, assisted with parking our vehicle, helped with luggage, and provided directions to the Termini train station. The area is safe, with embassies nearby, and offers easy access to public transport, and good restaurants. Just to highlight, the property is situated on the fifth floor of an Italian apartment building with elevator access. The elevator is notably compact and slow, which is characteristic of Roman buildings constructed prior to the integration of elevators.

La zona è tranquilla, comodissima per chi arriva in treno perché vicina alla stazione Termini e al contempo sicura per la presenza di presidi di forze dell'ordine, data la vicinanza a diverse ambasciate. L'host è stato molto gentile e disponibile: ci ha accolto prima dell'orario stabilito per il check in e ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli anche dopo l'ora del check out. Le procedure di check in e check out sono state semplici e rapide. Anche se la colazione non era prevista, era possibile l'uso di una cucina comune con bollitore e macchina per il caffè Niente
• Herveline (10/5): Une beau séjour - Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le logement est propre, calme et on dispose de tout ce qu’il faut pour rendre notre séjour confortable. Nous avions une voiture de location que nous n’avons pas eu de difficultés à stationner aux alentours (le stationnement est bien moins onéreux qu’à Paris !) Je recommande vivement cette location. Great location. - I don't really know how to compare this rental with other places in Rome, but in my search I was looking for a clean, quite, comfortable place near the train station and this was the best deal. I have no complaints and I think this is the best place for the money. Angela (who overseas the rental) was very responsive to all requests and was exceptional in handling every need or question that arose. The elevator is really tiny and very slow, but I think this is typical for buildings in Rome built before elevators (which had to be added later).

• Fujita (7/5): Great location abd host. - The host was very friendly and responsible. She answered all the questions I had immediately by what’s up. They have a laundry machine in the sharing area, but not dryer. Because it was a very hot weather, wet clothes dried out by hanging in the balcony. Location was good. Close to the train station Roma Termini. Also felt safe because it was located near many embassies. It was way too hot in the elevator and elevator hall. Again, the weather was super hot, so we had hard time going up and down the building without sweating. To the elevator hall from the ground level, there are 8 step stairs. If you have very heavy suitcases, you may have a difficult time moving up to the elevator floor. Sofa bed was too soft, caused backache.

• Ali (1/5): worst prison - I like nothing in this place We had a very disappointing stay at this property. The manager or host was extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating, especially given that we were traveling with children. If you're a family, I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere. Despite the high price, the service was extremely poor: No one was available on-site to assist with basic needs. Towels were not replenished during our stay. There was no cleaning service, even over multiple days. No coffee pads or simple amenities were provided, even though they were advertised. There is smell inside bathroom where you cant brush your teeth. Overall, this was one of the worst value-for-money experiences we’ve had. The place might look nice in photos, but the lack of hospitality and basic service was unacceptable.
