Guest Reviews
- Christian (10/5): - Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Tasty breakfast. Right off of a square with a number of restaurants. There are a number of flights of stairs that might be problematic for those with mobility issues but we found them manageable.
- Nikolas (8/5): - Tight room and AC didn’t function. They may want to look into that.
- Sandra (10/5): - Antony is amazing and the top deck is so special.
- Nicola Ann (8/5): - Really good value for money. Difficult to find as had no sign outside you have to go by the building numbers it would be really good if they put this in the direction information.
- Andrew (10/5): - Had an amazing time, the staff are so helpful and nice. totally recommend staying here.
- Ashley (10/5): - Great central location
- Antonio (10/5): - Loved the rooftop with the free bottle of presecco you get. Breakfast was very nice.
- Linda (10/5): The Best Place to Stay in Palermo! An Oasis! - This is the most wonderful hotel, accomodation that I have ever stayed in! It is an oasis in Palermo! The bed is super comfortable & the decor of the rooms & all of the hotel are Outstanding! So much character & such beautiful accents all over! It almost feels like you're in a dream!
- Shannon (10/5): - Thanks to the Bloom team for a wonderful stay! The room was beautiful, and they were very welcoming. We will definitely be back next time we visit!
- Gerasimos (10/5): - Absolutely brilliant stay! Everything is top quality room, service, location, breakfast. Very impressed indeed and a massive shout out to our host for being incredibly kind and accommodating - taking great care of us! Could not recommend more highly.
- Brian (10/5): - Great hosts, quaint boutique property and excellent location.
- EDWARD (10/5): - Great location
- Morgan (10/5): - We booked this hotel based on its proximity to San Marco. It took us a couple minutes to locate the door (not unusual for anything in Venice, honestly). You do have to initially ring the bell to contact the property manager, but once you are checked in and have your keys, you can come and go as you please. We found the room to be comfortable (there are a lot of stairs to get to it, which we were aware of when we booked and had no issue with). It was a wonderful mix of historical charm and modern amenities. Bathroom was surprisingly roomy, and we found the bed to be comfortable. They had a very nice little breakfast spread of meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit and pastries served between 8-10. A very sweet woman even made us cappuccinos! I highly recommend Bloom for your stay; wonderful service and ideal location!
- Laura (10/5): - Customer service was outstanding! Location was perfect.
- James (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful B n B in a very convenient location. The decor was probably the best of all the places we stayed in Italy. Only complaint, no one to help with luggage and no elevator. I’m 69 and my wife is 68, the first floor for rooms is some 3 flights up so that’s the minimum one has to carry their luggage. I’d definitely stay again but insist they find someone to take my luggage up.
- Gary (10/5): Great stay in a good location - We had a lovely stay here. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Room small but comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Location was very good. Please be aware there is no lift and a lot of stairs to the rooms which maybe a problem if you have reduced mobility.
- Don (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Special shout out to Anthony for assisting with our lost luggage.
- Claudia (10/5): - This B&B is very romantic, maybe unique. It has library and a breathtaking view of the city. Conveniently placed within walking distance of restaurants and mail landmarks. The staff is excellent. I don't know if we could have loved another hotel more for more money. It was a perfect experience.
- Kristina (4/5): Great location but dated in looks and amenities. - Location was great but was very expensive considering the age and condition of the rooms. No tech available (no charging ports, casting tv, etc). Old fashion hair dryer, poor lighting, run down bathrooms and dated decor. Breakast was old fashioned too. Staff was very friendly, roof top terrace fantastic.
- quiana (10/5): - This B&B was amazing! The staff was courteous, location is amazing and they forgot to mention the complementary Prosecco on the patio
- Mark (10/5): Great stay at Bloom - loved the location - We loved our stay at Bloom. Wonderful location and staff was great!
Breakfast was very good with friendly service.
Front desk was very helpful getting a water taxi reserved for us to the airport. He was on time and everything went smoothly. We really appreciated the advice and help.
- Philip (10/5): - Awesome. Great breakfast.
- Courtney (10/5): - We stayed here for 4 nights and we had a great experience. It is centrally located but not in the middle of the tourist crowds. The Grand Canal is a short walk and Piazza San Marco is a 15 min walk. The area is somewhat residential so we saw kids going to school, locals stopping at one of the two cafes on either side of the hotel and out walking their dogs.
The B &B is clean, had daily housekeeping and our room was spacious. The breakfast was somewhat basic but met our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We booked this because of the rooftop terrace and it did not disappoint!
The directions from the water bus were spot on, but arriving in the dark made it a bit difficult to notice as there is only a small sign indicating a lodging location. Reception is actually in a hotel right around the corner which we did not know. But when we pressed the door buzzer, we were granted entry and Rosa came right over to show us to our room.
It was a fabulous place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay there again!
- Tamaii (10/5): - Photos don’t do it justice, beautiful property, friendly staff. Lots of stairs and no lift from what we could see, so be aware you will have to carry your luggage to the top, but worth it for the view. Rooftop terrace was very peaceful. Great location, would stay here again. 😄
- Rosario (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.
- Zachary (10/5): - This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Venice, if you’re thinking twice about staying here just book it. You won’t have any regrets
- Richard (10/5): Amazing Property & rooms - What an amazing property with amazing rooms, fabulous breakfast & a lovely roof top terrace complete with a welcome drink (chilled bottle of Prosecco) perfect for drinking on the roof terrace. Lovely lounge and one of the best continental breakfast I have had.
- Dan (10/5): - Very cute place. Staff was amazing.
- GRETTY (10/5): - We really enjoy the place. It is close to the main attraction. Everybody were very nice and friendly. We would come back for sure!!
- Geoffrey (10/5): - A most convenient location. Only drawback was that our room was up 63 stairs, and there’s no lift … but the staff at the associated Hotel Locanda Florita (where you check in, round the corner) were available to carry bags.
- Sandi (6/5): - Pros- good size room, good cappuccino, good location
Cons- very dim lighting, very noisy, no elevator, no on-site person at front desk, limited breakfast, no A/C ( would not allow us to turn it on), overpriced for the lack of amenities
- Sandra Susana (10/5): - El lugar es hermoso y todos los servicios excelentes
- Haidy (4/5): - Very disappointed. No sign to identify property. No stairs. Our room was on the third floor and it took us 2 hours to get our bags to the room. There was no Prosecco as promised. It was dry brut. Staff very nice however and even arranged that we share a taxi with another couple back to the airport and prepared a quick breakfast. Very very expensive clearly not worth it. Very disappointed.
- Daniel (8/5): Great hotel, but NO ELEVATOR. - Lovely room, very nice staff, great location, beautiful views from the rooftop... but no elevator and the rooms are all on the 4th floor. Many many steps.
- Jason (10/5): - It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in Europe so far! Absolutely amazing charm and service. Definitely planning to come back!
- Jennifer (10/5): Boom for the Bloom - The best address for those in the know in Venice. Truly fabulous for repeat Venice tourism, when you know that being in a real neighborhood and close to a major vaporetto stop is the key (and not being too close to Ferrovia or San Marco and all the crazy crowds). Lovely Management, breakfast service and oh that terrace. Grazie!
- Allison (8/5): Great Stay - We really liked staying here. The rooftop terrace with Prosecco is such a nice touch. It provides a quiet outdoor space away from the hassle of restaurants and crowds. The staff were all helpful and kind.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful room lovely staff great location with highly recommended customer service with every corner and updates with westher high tides experience second to none. Worth every penny in both myself and my wife’s opinion
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Average stay. Noisey dark room. Would have loved a lounge to sit in after checkout.
- Colin (6/5): - The location is excellent. The amenities are sadly lacking for a hotel charging so much. No tissues, bottled water, minimum soap and shampoo. Also, we had to climb 65 steps with our luggage to our floor level. The breakfast was only adequate. They need to up their game, or charge less.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place. We wished we could have stayed more days, this b & b is amazing. Rooftop with free proseco was excellent. Best breakfast ever. Rooms are new and very well decorated. No elevators but is totally worthy. Will definitely come back here next time
- Christopher (10/5): Blooming fantastic. - It was better than I expected. The manager of the property Anthony was a great help with all our needs and I did need them.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view from the roof terrace is stunning and really comfortable . Staff where friendly and I felt very comfortable and stylish .
- clarabel (10/5): - The proprietor was very friendly and very knowledgeable about Venice. The room was beautiful and had a bath which is a rare treat in Venice. The rooftop deck is lovely and very relaxing after a day spent sight seeing.
Breakfast is continental style but very generous in its choices.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the location and the bottle of Prosecco - although we didn't finish ours so went out for supper and returned to find that someone else did later that night!
Very difficult to find - name is tiny on the door so need to be aware it is next to the pharmacy. Breakfast lovely, roof terrace great, room has everything you need but the shower was a little excitable and found a gap in the shower screen which meant a wet floor each time but all in all an excellent place to stay which we would highly recommend.
- Esther (10/5): - The theme room and location of the property are great! Service staff and breakfast are lovely too. Like the sky terrace in the evening with champagne in hand. The down side is here will be there is no lift access, given with the old city in my opinion.
- Frida (10/5): Magical stay for wedding anniversary - We stayed here for three nights to celebrate our 10 years wedding anniversary. From the moment we were shown our room by a man who’s seems to be the manager/owner we felt very welcome. Our room was on the top floor, beautifully decorated and clean. The on-suite bathroom was also very nicely decorated with everything needed. Good storage for clothes and belongings.
The roof top was magical with a beautiful view. The complimentary Prosecco fridge was a very nice touch.
The breakfast was good and we were well looked after by the girls who always greeted us with a smile and a hello when ever we bumped in to them.
Unfortunately our aircon didn’t work throughout our stay and it was VERY hot. When mentioning it to staff we were immediately offered another room and was told we could leave our belongings in our old room.
However we opted to stay in our room on the top floor as it had an on suite bathroom. So we were given a table fan straight away.
We had such a great time and can’t recommend this place enough. It was near to everything!
THANK you so much for making our stay more than we could possibly have hoped for. We def will be back.
Frida & Nick
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing property! Perfectly situated within easy walking distance to all the main sights. Beautiful room (room 301) and very helpful staff, especially Anthony who gave us some wonderful recommendations.
The roof terrace with free prosecco fridge was a real bonus! Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, very stylish room, and we loved the rooftop terrace, which was a great place to hang out late on and see the view over the city.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Bloom B&B. Perfect location being only a 10 minute walk away from the main sights. The room was perfect for myself, husband and 12 year old son. It was on the third floor and there are a lot of stairs. We had read mixed reviews on this but we really didn't find it to be a problem.
There are also lots of reviews that indicate the difficulty in finding the hotel reception. It isn't obvious but it is literally just around the corner set back behind the property so we did find it ok. The balcony was lovely and the Prosecco fridge with free Prosecco was a great added touch. We went back to Bloom one lunch time and ate it up on the balcony with some Prosecco. Evenings up there were lovely too to finish off the evening after a nice meal out.
Because it was so central, it was a great base and handy to be able to nip back to our room before venturing out again to explore.
Only saw the reception staff a couple of times when we needed to confirm our water taxi arrangements and they were very helpful.
Staff serving drinks at breakfast were also lovely.
We particularly liked that it was a small and intimate place instead of a busy larger hotel or B&B. It was quieter and I loved the church bells opposite in the morning.
There was a mini market just around the corner which we found handy to grab drinks and snacks and there were so many restaurants to go to eat just a few minutes away.
We would definitely recommend!
- Don (6/5): - Had a nice rooftop terrace for relaxing. The ac was not working as it was not the hot enough season for that yet so we tried to sleep with the windows open to help cool the room off. Problem with that is we had mosquitoes cone in the room through the windows snd the adjoining house had a loud music bday party till 1am so it was a noisy hot night with mosquitoes for our stay
- Adele (8/5): - Great place and great location
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Exceptionally beautiful room.
The roof top terrace is an amazing part to go and have the free Prosecco.
Lovely seating area to have the delicious breakfast.
- John (10/5): One of the best - What a great find. We have stayed in many hotels in Venice and this was one of the best. The rooftop terrace was amazing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Bloom is lovely, clean and comfortable. There are lots of stairs so no good if you have limited mobility. We really enjoyed our tim there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was fantastic. It looked on to st Stephanie church and the piazza. The room was ultra modern with a traditional feel. Great choice at breakfast and friendly staff. Room top terrace was amazing with great views. Free prosecco was a real plus.
- Gary (10/5): Hotel NIMO - The bed and breakfast had a great room, good breakfast and a friendly staff. Would highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved this place. Will be back in the near future
- imtiaz (2/5): - We checked in after a two-sector night flight at 11:30 hours and very tired . The receptionist didn’t bother to ask how the flight went but rudely said that the check-In time is 14:30 hours and that you can leave your baggage here. Later on I found out that he was the owner of the setup and there were rooms available as it was a slack season.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic place to base yourself in Venice. From the location, plentiful breakfast, unlimited prosecco on the top terrace, friendly hotel staff and cleaners it was simply unbeatable value. Special mention for the English guy (forgotten name) on reception who lent us an adapter and showed us the way to the nearest water taxi port for a graceful exit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Little gem - Great service and friendly staff which is surprising for a B and B style small hotel. Loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel was perfect in every way - from the great welcome, to the free Prosecco and rooftop views.
Breakfast was intimate and there was a good variety of breads and spreads. You could tell they'd gone the extra mile, heating the milk to accompany coffees.
The room was comfy and kept us warm from the December chill.
Would 100% recommend.
- David (10/5): Everything you require, perfect location - Really enjoyed our stay at Bloom, great location within a 10 minute walk of St Marks square, dependent on the amount of tourists, fantastic roof terrace with views over the tops of Venice, complimentary bottle of Prosecco is a nice touch, breakfast had a good choice of breads, pastries, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurts, coffee. room was warm, very tastefully decorated with a good size bathroom, no pressure to vacate and able to store our cases at reception, would highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Just a little lovely little hotel. The rooms are small but it's Venice. The location is quite good. Little tricky to get to. I wouldn't rely on GPS if I were you. I would literally pull up a map and like my own directions. The breakfast is kind of throw away. I'm not going to lie it's not much. You're better off going to the cafe that's literally 20 steps away and getting coffee a Cornetto and juice . But if you can get the room on the top floor that has access to the livingroom and rooftop patio and I would recommend that. Plus, there's free Prosecco that is offered to the guests.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great little BnB! A LOT of stairs, so keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage! Very close to everything in Venice. This is NOT a hotel, but a great room with an amazing rooftop for you to enjoy!
- Lili (10/5): - Excellent staff.
Very nice terrace with a beatiful view where we could enjoy cool proseco at all times.
Our train left at night and they were veey nice to us, they stayed with our luggage all day and let us use bathroom to take shower before we left. They even gave us a little treat for the train!
- Neda and Nemanja (10/5): Blooming in 7th Heaven - Delicate to the last detail. Wouldn’t consider any other option for the next staying in Venice.
- Domenico (10/5): - Great place to stay , friendly staff , good breakfast
- Taylor (10/5): Excellent location, lovely B&B - This B&B is in the perfect location, a short walk from main sites like St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. The rooms were clean, well-sized and equipped with everything you could need. The roof terrace offered amazing views over the square below and was the perfect spot for watching the sun set with a bottle of the complimentary prosecco they offer! Check in is in a different hotel just around the corner, but full directions were emailed before arrival so this was no problem to find. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the rooms which isn't always ideal after a long day of walking around or when you're carrying cases. But this doesn't take away at all from how nice it is, or how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. Breakfast was basic but still very good. Overall a lovely little place to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely place to stay, would highly recommend it and the roof terrace with Prosecco fridge a bonus. Staff really helpful and friendly.
- Martin (10/5): Fantastic place! - Great hotel that's really well located. 10mins walk from the madness of St Mark's square but far enough to be relatively quiet. The terrace was great to chill out on after a day walking and free prosecco was great. Anthony on reception was super helpful and had great ideas for places to eat, things to see, ways to get around etc. Really highly recommended
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely hotel - Very much enjoyed our trip and stay at the Bloom.
Venice all i thought it would be
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing boutique hotel, worth every penny - Amazing hotel, great location, big buffet breakfast, clean hotel rooms, rooftop terrace with free Prosecco!! Could not fault this hotel would recommend this hotel to anyone!
- bik (10/5): unlimited prosecco, great view from window, - unlimited prosecco, great view from window, great room and perfect staff
- Nicole (10/5): Nice cosy B&B - Really nice B&B with comfortable and clean room. Near St Mark Square, slightly out of the key tourist area - which is a great thing in Venice. Walkable to all key spots on the island.
Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was good (typical Italian breakfast).
- Hunter (10/5): - Beautiful room and wonderful service. So easy after we found the place!
- Lorraine (10/5): A quirky boutique hotel in the San Marco area - What a gem of a place Bloom is ! Stylishly renovated our room (401) was on the top floor & not for the faint hearted but well worth the 82 step climb as it's on the same level as the roof garden & the library where you can relax after exploring this wonderful city with a chilled bottle of prosecco at no extra charge! Breakfast is continental & is of good quality & choice. I can recommend the home made sugared croissants ! This hotel is classy without airs & graces & comfortable enough to make you feel at home ( the bed & pillows were exceptional) . Anthony the Manager was able to recommend a local restaurant , Rosa Rossa , which we loved so much we went back a second time. As it was our anniversary weekend we asked Anthony where we could find a good Gondolia & he sent us to the Jewish Quarter where we met Chiara the only woman Gondolia . She took us around the less busy canals for a memorable trip of a life time . Thank you Anthony & the staff at Bloom for making our stay a perfect one . We will certainly be back !
Best wishes , Alan & Lorraine Dye
- Carol (10/5): A very special place in Venice - We booked the least expensive room, so the size was not bad considering. Not large but it had a hallway, good size bathroom and closet. It was a little like having our own little apartment. We were at the top of the building, so lots of stairs. We took it as a fitness challenge! It was a little warm, but we were also provided a fan on request. Right outside our room is a spacious library and big terrace. Upon arrival the sweetest man with an English accent grabbed my suitcase and whisked us upstairs. He pretty much insisted we grab a bottle of Prosecco which was a genius idea! The breakfast was great and served in an elegent and spacious room. We were never woken by any noise and felt we had plenty of private space. Highly recommended!
- Scott (10/5): 2 Night Stay in August - 2 Rooms (4 Adults 2 kids) - Having booked a "B&B" I had set fairly low expectations for Bloom - I was blown away from the second we walked into this amazing 'Hotel'. I'm guessing the reason its classed as a B&B and not a hotel has to do with the reception being in a different building, and/or, the fact there is no lift - Everything else about this is absolutely hotel standard.
We traveled as 2 families with 2 11 year old boys - Both rooms were fantastic! The decoration in Bloom is really something special.
The free Prosecco on the roof terrace is a really nice touch too.
Be prepared to carry luggage up and down stairs as there is no lift
I highly recommend this hotel :-)
- Rachel (10/5): Excellent B&B in Venice - This B&B is brilliant. It's in a perfect spot in San Marco. Perfect distance away from the crowds, but not too far away from St Marks Sq & Rialto. The breakfast is great (bread, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yogurt) served between 8 -10. There is a lovely roof terrace with free Prosecco if you wish. Restaurants are also nearby. The only issue we had was arriving after midnight. Unfortunately the vaparetto that stopped at the San Angelo stop had finished for the day. We had to get the vaparetto to the Rialto stop and we didn't have any directions from there and our phones wouldn't work so we got well and truely lost! Eventually we found the hotel and got into bed around 2am!
- Jennifer (10/5): Bloom all year round - Bloom is my favorite address for a short stay in Venice. I adore the neighborhood on both sides of the Academia Bridge, and the charming welcome, rooms, and breakfast at Bloom is a pleasure every time, in any season.
- Janet (10/5): Close to everything, far from the crowds - Excellent spot just off the beaten track but easy access to everything Venice has to offer. The perfect location and a very well appointed place to stay. I would highly recommend it. Great value! Helpful staff. Very tasty breakfast.
- Ben (10/5): Very Romantic - It's all great - the balcony is fantastic, and the free prosecco is a really nice touch
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing hotel, loved it here, beautiful surroundings would highly recommend
- Natalie (10/5): Lovely B&B in great location - A small, quiet boutique hotel in a very good location and a couple minutes walk away from St. Angelo vaporetto stop. You need to go to Locanda Florita Hotel to check in, and a friendly member of staff helped us carry one of our suitcases to our room which is round the corner in another building and was on the top floor. There is no lifts. Our room looked lovely with great space & comfort. There was also a rooftop terrace with lovely seating areas where you could enjoy complimentary Prosecco and beautiful views of the square. It's perfectly located, not far from Rialto Bridge and about 10mins walk to St Mark's square. A perfect stay and would definitely go back.
- Journey Junkie (10/5): Lovely stay - would return. - We stayed at Bloom in July 2016 - location very good, near Academia bridge, off a large square with several restaurants. A word of warning that, whilst the directions provided to the hotel are very accurate, you may run into difficulties finding the actual entrance - which is an unsigned door, the hotel name is on the door buzzer. The English manager of the hotel greeted us and was very helpful in providing maps and restaurant recommendations. Its easy to spend 100 euros on a meal for 2 in Venice so you don't want to waste your money! In common with many small establishments in Venice there is no lift so be prepared for 6 flights of stairs. The rooftop terrace is a real wow feature, having some open space to relax in in Venice is rare - plenty of space for 4 couples to sit and the free Prosecco available in the fridge was very much enjoyed, a nice touch. We stayed for 4 nights and had a standard room at the back of the hotel. This meant the room was quiet and, although a little tight on space in the bedroom, the bathroom was large and we felt happy with it for the price. The superior rooms are larger and well worth the extra cost in my opinion.
- sol (8/5): Good location - Hotel is really nice, but be aware there is no front desk or anyone to help you, no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage 3 floors, no one to help you. Good breakfast and free prosecco. Only downside is the stairs (don't mind to go up, but not with the luggage, they should at least have someone to help you)
- Verified traveler (10/5): A great find - A great find... B&B was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. Prosecco on roof terrace was a great touch.
- Jennifer (10/5): Best charming stay near Accademia Bridge - Just the best girls weekend ever. Cannot wait to return.
- Karim (10/5): Great Venetian stay :) - Great experience felt at home and enjoyed the room's unique design that makes you feel part of Venice. Staff where so friendly and helpful to the extent they picked us up from the Water Taxi stop. Hotel offered us unlimited Champagne :). Not to forget to mention the beautiful terrace view where you can enjou your Champagne.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic little find.. Comfortable, characterful, perfect location for exploring Venice.. and some great little touches
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely B&B in a great location - Located on San Marco Island, which makes it easy to walk anywhere. It is also nearby San Angelo Waterbus stop for those who prefer the water route. The rooftop is a real plus with a great view and the fridge of unlimited prosecco not bad either! Very easy to find
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel! - Bloom is a fantastic hotel at a gorgeous location! We stayed at a sumptuous room with red satin walls and a velvet couch. The shower held two people. They offer free prosecco and a gorgeous upstairs overlook to a church in a central square, which also has a lovely sitting room for chillier times. We opened the large windows and listened to the sounds of Venice while relaxing -- wonderful! The only downside is you have to carry your bags up 5 short flights of stairs. Also, the place is pretty hard to find, as you have to look at the numbers on the buzzers to see the name. The staff is super helpful, however! Stunning place, really.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Boutique Stay - Quite Boutique B&B great for short stays. Lovely breakfast sitting with excellent service. Great Location - with great restaurants closeby, short walk to La Fenice theatre, valparetto, San Marco etc. Complementary evening prosecco on the rooftop was terrific.
Only downside was inadequate lighting and storage space.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great small hotel with attention to detail! - We only stayed one night at Bloom, but we loved it. The welcome bottle of Prosecco, enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with amazing views of Venice, really got us off the best start possible for our stay. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was extremely helpful and their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Breakfast is sumptuous. The location of the hotel is perfect. It was an easy vaporetto ride and a short walk from the bus station and the train station.
- Richard (10/5): Romance - Wonderful trip , romantic hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommended! - This is a wonderful little hotel with very friendly staff and accommodating service. It is very thoughtfully designed and appointed. There are stairs to climb to get to the rooms but it is worth it for the beautiful deck view of Piazza S. Stefano and surrounding roof tops. Very romantic. The location is ideal. You are far enough away from the crowds of Piazza S. Marco but close enough to easily walk there. Keep in mind that the front door is not identified by a large sign so you need to know the address. The name is on the brass buzzer outside the door. It is across from the front entrance of S. Stefano Church. We found it easily.
- Matthew (10/5): Great home base on the island - Comfortable room though small, nice bed, great breakfast , rooftop terrace and complimentary bottle of prosecco were nice touches. Easy walk to all the sights
- Helen (10/5): Excellent location in central Venice - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bloom. 10 min walk from St Marks Square. Overlooking a lovely square with good restaurants.
- Sorin (10/5): Great value, quiet and ideally located B&B - My wife, our five years old and I spent three nights at Bloom in September 2014. The B&B is a couple of minutes walking distance from St. Angelo vaporetto stop. We had a room at the second floor. Although the hotel does not have elevator the stairs weren't an issue even for our daughter. The included breakfast was definitely a bonus. The room was very clean and quiet - especially given that Bloom is located next to a busy square with many bars, shops and restaurants. It takes about 10 minutes of slow walk to get to Piazza San Marco; there is a good grocery shop a minute away and plenty of near by places to have a great lunch or dinner. The B&B provides an excellent base to explore Venice and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit the city!
