- S4217OFjaneto (10/5): A fabulous, comfortable and well located property! - Our family had a wonderful stay at The Luxury Inn. We had 2 rooms booked, both very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The property is close to public transit for sightseeing in central London, but in a lovely neighborhood that was great to explore with lots of shops, services and pubs/restaurants. One unusual feature that we particularly appreciated was a kitchen equipped for simple breakfasts. A Nespresso machine for coffee, a kettle for tea, fresh fruit and cereal as well as sliced bread and a variety of condiments. That was a very comfortable way to start the day, and a cup of herbal tea was a treat at the end of a busy day. These could be enjoyed in the spacious and comfortable sitting room. We will certainly return here - and you will be happy if you stay, too!
- 62mareem (10/5): The Luxury Inn - a glorious place to stay! - The Luxury Inn truly deserves it's five star rating. It is wonderful!!!! The rooms are super clean and roomy. There is ample wardrobe space and plenty of space for luggage etc. The decor is very attractive and it feels like a home. The bed is extremely comfortable and after a long day sightseeing you can relax in bed watching Netflix etc for free! The whole place is super clean. The attention to detail is amazing. Every time I thought 'I wonder if they have X?' I discovered they did have it and it was of high quality! As an example, the body wash is high quality and lovely. Wifi is superfast. The location is perfect. Catching public transport to London sights is incredibly easy. If you are fit and feeling up to it you can even walk to London Bridge! It took me about 50 minutes. There are marts very close by that you can buy supplies from. The supplied breakfast is wonderful and there is plenty of fridge space for you to store your own snacks and drinks. The kitchen facilities and shared facilities are great. I found it to be very quiet and did not have any trouble sleeping. James is lovely and nothing it too much trouble eg I asked for gluten free bread and he bought the most expensive delicious bread for me. It has a great atmosphere. I have already made two bookings for 2026 and can't wait to stay at The Luxury Inn again.

Das Gemeinschaftszimmer im ersten Stock ist ein wirklich gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Man muss wissen was man will. Jemand der keine 10 Minuten zu einer U Bahn gehen will und eine Rezeption und Personal um sich haben will, ist hier falsch. Es hat fast ein wenig was von einem Airbnb mit sofort Service, wenn man es braucht. Ein paar mehr Möglichkeiten um Gewand aufzuhängen. Aber das ist ein Thema in jedem Hotel in ganz London, weiss auch nicht warum.

It is well situated for the Dalston area with a number of bars and restaurants close by. We went to The Laughing Yak, for a meal, which was excellent. The rooms at The Luxury Inn are spotlessly clean. The communal "breakfast" room is lovely and airy, and the breakfast options are superb. It is great value for money (especially given that breakfast is included) considering it's location.

However the reason for the one star review is due to the fact that the afternoon before we left, we discovered that there was both audio and visual recording equipment in the communal areas. There was no signage to advise us of this situation, and the owner did not think there was anything wrong in this. We left feeling violated.

- graham-lesley1 (10/5): An excellent experience. - This was our third stay at the Luxury Inn, and again it was an exclelnt experience. A very cosy, comfy Inn. We love the set -up. Everything was perfect. Met some really lovely people who were staying there too. Breakfast was fine and we were able to have it at our leisure, instead of being restricted to certain times as you would be in a hotel. Bed very comfortable and the whole place is spick and span. Location is perfect - so close to Dalston Junction and only three stops from King's Cross - in a very quiet spot.

The room and en suite were immaculate, extra touches like the fans being on for when we checked in was brilliant after it being a hot day, the shared breakfast area was stocked with plenty of options too. The communication with the host James was second to none and made the whole process very easy and stress free. Will 100% be returning, I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Breakfast room is a real plus and stocked with plenty of items. Very clean and everything has been thought through. Also the room 2 that I stayed in was very quiet, which is a real plus in London. There are good facilities in the locaility too and the surroundings are pleasant and safe.
- C4121LTrachaelm (10/5): A gem of a place - I highly recommend - I can’t recommend The Luxury Inn enough. The room was relaxing and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable – even more so than my bed at home (!) – and the room had everything I needed. It was a hot evening, so the fan was much appreciated, and there was air con in the communal area. It was an easy bus ride from Kings Cross (almost door-to-door) and the check-in/check-out info was really clearly communicated which made everything feel easy. The shared kitchen/dining/lounge space is stylish and comfortable with a great sourdough loaf and plenty of cereal in the kitchen, nespresso machine and plenty of tea, cow and oat milk in the fridge, and some thoughtful extras. So much better (and cheaper!) than a chain hotel, and it would work brilliantly for four people or couples, especially with the added comfort of the shared living space. Mira café across the road also deserves a mention – Zehra is lovely and makes delicious Cypriot food (the spanakopita is 👌🏽) and really great coffee.

- I3647CWpaulg (10/5): very satisfied, hope to return soon - Very comfortable bed made for a great night’s sleep, so important when travelling. The apartment was clean. Good water pressure in shower, plenty of hot water. I really enjoyed the common areas; the living room was bright and airy, the refectory table solid and inviting, the kitchen well stocked with breakfast items, the coffee machine worked well and was simple to use. James and the maintenance staff were helpful and generally cheerful. There are only four rooms, so you will never be overwhelmed by other guests in the common areas. The few people we did meet were friendly and pleasant. Most were return guests to the Luxury Inn, an excellent sign in itself. Couple of small tweaks for improvement. Add one or two shelves in the bathroom (we were in room #4). There were no drawers in the room, so adding one or two simple bins in the open shelves would be helpful for organizing clothes storage. Terrific location; interesting neighbourhood and close to public transport.

The room is very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. I’m grateful to have found James and his lovely small hotel.

First class communication from James who provided easy to follow instructions for my late check in. Stayed in room 3 and found the room very clean and cosy with good ensuite facilities and more importantly comfortable bed!! Common areas are very good and breakfast was just perfect. Will definitely stay again when i am in the area.

- stephenmK8273AY (10/5): Great value and good location. - We checked in late with no problem thanks to James's excellent communication. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious, warm and also very clean. There was a small amount of noise from the corridor, but otherwise the soundproofing is good and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The self service breakfast was fine and taken in very pleasant surroundings. All in all we felt that the Luxury Inn offers very good value and is well situated between bohemian and vibrant Dalston and chic Islington. We will definitely return when next in London.

- NNKF (10/5): Truly a luxury inn - I used the Luxury Inn to host family visiting for a wedding and stayed there myself. It was a perfect stay. The accommodation, layout, functionality and design is carefully considered to make guests comfortable and feel at home whilst maintaining the high standards and aesthetic of luxury hotels. The locations is peaceful. De Beauvoir is a great area with a special quintessentially English town/village vibe. Transport links made it very easy for everyone to find their way. I won’t hesitate to come back again and recommend to others.

The location was great with Dalston nearby with all its shops and restaurants. There were also quick easy connections to get into central London. The open plan breakfast area upstairs was great. Overall a great place to stay.

Very near to the cool, bustling Dalston but so quiet and safe. Walking distance to transport links and next door to a cool and super friendly pub. And to top it all excellent rates. I will not be booking anywhere else in future. Flipping brilliant.
- SeanW950 (10/5): Great Experience - Always a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment. The kitchen area is ideal for breakfast or preparing an evening meal if desire. Extensive range of breakfast choice and caters for all needs. The lounge is also ideal for relaxing or working if need be.
- Michael (6/5): Sterile accommodation - Easy access to the property, comfortable bed. Breakfast was included but seemed to consist of some already open cereal boxes, juice and milk cartons in a fridge in a shared kitchen with no idea of how long they had been there. Very much a case of help yourself to anything that you think might still be safe to use. No on site staff at all, quite a sterile place. The finish in the shower room was a little bit grubby.

Exceptionally clean, very well stocked with toiletries and breakfast supplies eg oat milk as well as cows milk, a range of teas, fruit and cereals. Nice linen. The room I was in would be too small for a long period of time. I recommend this place for a short stsy

- Aida (9/5): A great little place with access to home style self-service breakfast. - A fantastic place to stay in London - stylish and clean, well-equipped and offering great self-service breakfast with high quality items. The host was responsive and helpful. I really enjoyed staying there and would love to return in the future (need to book well in advance, no doubt). There is nothing about the property itself I did not like. I had a somewhat stressful experience trying to get there by 9pm (the watershed time due to the entry lock code changing every few hours). I ended up running to get there on time and just could not find it. It was a panic inducing moment. I could not get hold of the host and could not orientate myself, standing next to a virtually identical building on the next street. Luckily, some kind neighbours directed me to the right place, and I made it with 2 minutes to spare!

- Granhands (9/5): Loved it - Very quiet and comfy stay, kitchen was well kitted and dining and lounge area were lovely. Very comfy room and bed, clean throughout, and extremely simple stay. The bathroom for my room wasn't an en-suite so had to access through the shared hallway, but the place was very quiet and I didn't run into anyone.
