Guest Reviews
- Tatiana (10/5): - B
- David (4/5): Very Expensive Stay! - The hotel has undergone an external transformation since we last stayed 6 years ago. Weddings at weekends have stopped (that's a good thing) and a new restaurant has been built. The food is fantastic, but the prices are sky high (La Vera Menu online). You are not allowed to take food or drink from outside into the hotel. We saw one couple getting searched for ‘contraband’. There were also several cases of people being charged for the use of the room mini bar when they claimed they hadn’t. Other review sites would seem to back this up as an ongoing ‘scam’ by the hotel. The rooms are very dated and are in desperate need of a refurbishment. Breakfast is basic, but you often share the dining area with the local stray cats!
The hotel now seem to have a deal with local dentists, as about half of the guest were there for dental work, This isn’t an issue, but we saw a lot of bruised faces which can be a little disconcerting.
The waiter staff are attentive and give good service around the pool area during the day. The pool aera is clean and presentable, but drink prices are expensive. Two Fanta and Two Sprite (250ml bottles) came to about £14.
On our last day at checkout, we weren’t allowed to leave until an audit of the room had been undertaken. We had taken pictures of the room and minibar on arrival and departure. We had no issues.
- MARINA (8/5): - Very good overall, nice restaurant and staff, but they charged us some drinks from the room fridge at the check out when we never drink them.
- Mojtaba (6/5): - The hotel is in a relatively good location — close to the airport but far from the city center. There's only a small supermarket within 100 meters. The area is calm, but planes fly overhead almost every minute, which can be disturbing.
Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was polite. Unfortunately, the experience changed on our first afternoon. We bought a box of water, some chips, biscuits, and nuts from the nearby store for our kids. At the hotel entrance, a receptionist rudely stopped us, questioned us about what was in our bag, and even opened and searched it without permission. He confiscated the snacks and said we had to buy them from the hotel at 120 lira per item.
This was a very disrespectful and uncomfortable situation. Even worse, at check-out, only the biscuits and nuts were returned — the chips were gone, clearly eaten by someone. It wasn’t about the value of the chips, but the lack of respect for guests' belongings and basic hospitality.
Customer service here is weak, and guests are treated more like money than people. I hope the hotel management reconsiders how they treat their customers in the future
- Letitia (8/5): - Staff was pleasant & there's lots of free parking.
Beautiful pool area, nice balcony, decent breakfast.
Room was sort of clean, unswept floors, open ceiling in shower. Room was very moist, everything in the room was a bit wet, but after running the air conditioning all night it was much better. Room decor feels old, not modern.
- Paul (10/5): - An OK hotel at Lara Beach. Could do with some renovations. Breakfast choice not great. Food in the restaurant and outside bar area were good although the waiting staff had an attitude. Reception staff were good.
- Peter (8/5): - Good service helpful personality. Seesaid is good!
- Shaun (10/5): - I visited the Lara with the wife for a week mid march. I was a little worried as some of the reviews i had read had sort of put me off.
I would say however that these bad reviews were in the whole were unjust. Yes the rooms are a little tired and could do with an uolift. The staff were fantastic. The food was mainly soft due to the amount of people having Turkey teeth. Tge bar was over priced and the shop across the road was just daylight robbery, however thus isnt the staffs fault. If you want 5 star then thus isnt for you, but for a cheap holiday with friendly staff then go for it. They are building next door, again this isnt the fault of the staff or the hotel.
- Robert (6/5): - Check in was quick and on first impression the hotel looked good. On reaching the room and opening the door the first thing that hit you was the smell of stale tobacco smoke. The curtains and nets reeked. The beds were ok. The laminate flooring was loose in places with bits missing. As for the food, it was tepid at best. A great spread of fresh salad items and lovely fresh bread. The only thing that was consistently hot was the soup. Cats running around the restaurant area certainly didn’t help to give off a clean environment. On the plus side, the view from the room was nice. Would I stay again? NO.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bu kadar kotu bir otel olamaz. Hijyen sıfır.
- Stephen David (10/5): - Good clean hotel and surrounding area
- Vladimir (8/5): - I was satisfied
- Chris (6/5): - Average hotel in need of revamping bar far too expensive didn’t like being searched when bringing items back to room had dental work only thing I could eat was soft foods I have dairy intolerance so can’t eat normal food selection breakfast hygiene poor flies and cats in restaurant area sitting on the table
- Andrew (10/5): - The staff and service excellent food very good.
Room furniture rather shabby and in need of upgrade but, importantly AC worked perfectly, bathroom clean and shower worked fine, bed comfortable.
I have one major fault, why was music on the Friday and Saturday nights continual until 3AM ?
A number of guests mentioned it, but I didn't raise with the hotel.
I would stay here again.
- Mohit (10/5): - Very nice hotel Room view is spechles
- Abdul (6/5): - I stayed at the Lara Hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. While I was generally satisfied with my stay, I found the receptionist's behavior unwelcoming and rude. The morning receptionist, in particular, was unhelpful and acted as if assisting guests was a burden. On the other hand, the breakfast and cleaning staff were very helpful.
- david (6/5): - A new bar on the left hand side of hotel now open with loud music till the early hours of the morning has now made this family friendly hotel a no go.
- c (8/5): - The outside pool area and restaurant plus the various work being carried out to the various levels down to sea front will look amazing once finished.
They really need to start spending money internally with the carpets and bedrooms but £85.00 per room B&B with balcony is great value.
- Andrew (8/5): - It was convenient for my hobby, but to far away from amenities
- Mark (8/5): Great stay. Hotel manager letting the place down! - Overall, a great stay. Recent upgrades to the pool area are excellent. Pool and surrounding areas are both superb! New restaurant serves great food and drink, although very pricey for Turkey. Breakfast buffet was fine for the price paid. Rooms are in need of an update, but we're very clean, air conditioning worked well and were serviced by housekeeping daily. Beds allowed for good sleep each night. Staff at the hotel are amazing. BUT, I was far from impressed with the attitude and approach of the hotel manager. When discussing the lack of hot water in my room for a second day running, and being accused of lying, this left me feeling less than pleased. Thankfully, the rest of the hotel staff don't operate on the same values as the management! Hopefully the manager reads this and takes note!
- Frances (10/5): - Great staff!!
- Rustam (4/5): - The outside of Hotel looks like a new but the inside of rooms old conditions. I don't like it
Location is good because is close to sea but the rooms is not
TV very small & old :((
- Margo (10/5): - Cozy hotel, good pool, beautiful sea view, friendly staff, clean rooms
- Huseyin (4/5): Smoky, old and inconvenient hotel - It was sort of cold winter in Antalya and they did not have a properly working AC. Also, the room was smelling smoke all over. On the positive side, I can say that it was facing the sea and had a good view.
- Abid (6/5): - Property is ok bad internet service and breakfast also average and staff not pleasant.
- Hiba (10/5): - Beautiful view with a clean rooms and respect stuff delicious breakfast
- onur (6/5): - The view
- Mihamed (2/5): - Very bad
- Safiye (2/5): Awful - The condition of the room is unbelievably bad. Old furniture and bathroom. Everything smelled bad. And the walls were so thin that the voice in the next room could be heard very close. I definitely do not recommend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not recommend
- michael (8/5): Good hotel, great location, reasonably priced - What a lovely hotel. The only criticism is the size of the standard room.Big enough just for two people and with a small balcony, but if the weather is good as it was during our stay, you wont spend much time in the room.
The staff were excellent overall and polite. The guys on reception were very efficient, the staff in the restaurant, especially the girls serving breakfast, were very good.
We only had breakfast in the hotel which offered a reasonable choice each day.The dinner buffet was well priced at £6 per person, but we prefer to eat out.
There is a good pool with plenty of sun beds and a nice bar.
The hotel is in a stunning position on a cliff-top,overlooking the sea,the view from the bedrooms is fantastic, and even better is the beach at the foot of the cliff, accessed by a large number of steps. If however you make the effort to go there you will be rewarded with a lovely sandy beach, with its own bar,and warm clear water.
Thank you Mr G for looking after us.
The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the waterfall, which is a must to see and just beyond is a number of really good and relatively cheap cafes and restaurants.
Ideal hotel as well for a visit to Antalya.
One thing not mentioned is the price of the hotel. It is excellent value for money.
We look forward to returning
- Najibullah (10/5): - Amazing
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good time at Lara - We had a wonderful stay. Their service is good and cheap too. Kitchen staff were stellar.
- James (8/5): - Everything was good staft very obliging food ok but onr priblem eas wifi vert poor in bedrooms website should say free wifi wirks in public areas .
- Mustafa (8/5): Great view . - Hotel has a very nice views . Clean and friendly staff . I was not impress with food .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is good resort by the sea and the service are also good the restaurant is excellent
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Poorly managed property, manager discourteous and disrespectful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Apologize for the guest's poor experience. ...
Highlight any changes you have made or intend to make. ..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The reception staff are all friendly and helpful. Could not fault them. The food was bland and repetitive.
The air con worked intermittently but the pool area was clean and well maintained. The private beach was the best part with crystal aquamarine waters and plenty of sunbeds. Overall we were quite happy and would consider staying again.
- Hajar (10/5): Very nice hotel - The hotel is very nice, and really easy to find by gps. The room we stayed in was clean and nice. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a private beach which is a great thing. Where you can swim whenever you want.
- ChrisSalmon (4/5): - Clean rooms and surroundings. Very friendly staff, food was excellent, great swimming pool and beach just below. All really let down by just having one very slow lift for 70 rooms. Continually going out of service - just the same as a previous visit in 2014. Wifi was painfully slow - 5 mbps! - and kept losing connection. By contrast, the little coffee bar about a kilometre away, had 180 mbps.
Needs another lift, or at least a new one, and an upgrade to the wifi.
- Loco (8/5): - The rooms were small and. But the view was spectacular
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Reception were really good.
Waiters and restaurant staff were friendly but very inefficient. They could speak english but couldng carry out simple service
- Chris (10/5): - Really lovely hotel and staff
But could cater more for the English tourist in the food department
- Zain (8/5): 1 night stay - First the positives - the hotel is in a excellent location on the edge of the beach. All the rooms have a great sea view. Bed was comfortable. Duden Waterfall are only 10 minutes walk away (worth seeing).
Be mindful that the area is a little run down. Hotel maintainence isn’t fantastic and cleanliness could be better. Breakfast also not great - but you get what you pay for and the low price still make it excellent value for a short stay.
- Alireza (2/5): Internet it wasn’t work very well. - It was a bad experience that we had.we were for four days and no body came to clean our room.there was no fan in washroom, and always bad smell in washroom and also there was very noisy at washroom .
- David (10/5): Nice Hotel, Staff very attentive and friendly. - This will be my 5th stay at Lara Otel. Half board is a good deal, the food is fresh and good.
This is not a beach hotel, however if you like the sea they have a deck located at the bottom of the cliff. Not for the unfit though as there are many steps.
The pool area is clean and safe and the bar area nice to relax in. If you are looking for rest and relaxation on a budet, then this is a good choice.
My thanks to Ferit and the other staff for looking after us .
cheers ! Dave P
- Verified traveler (10/5): What a view !! - The view from the balcony was amazing we had sea front. The room was spacious m clean. Only thing missing was free water not tea/coffe which would have been a nice touch for guests. But otherwise it was s lovely stay.
- Odeh gh (8/5): amazing view - Nice hotel near airport , isn’t far away the old city
- gramma (8/5): We had a lovely view of the sea. - We had a lovely view of the sea. Our balcony was very pleasant to sit on..our room was smallish but fine. We were very close to the airport which is why we stayed here but pleasantly surprised with the area..right beside a lovely park and right on the water.
- John (10/5): - Evening food service sent for outside the building so very poor. Cold when arrived
Otherwise value for money
- Brian (8/5): value for money - all rooms have sea view and mini fridge and hair drier and free wifi and breakfast is included buffet style.
- Lyndsey (2/5): Not near beach.2 cockroaches on wall in hotel. - Rubbish pool warm and nice.cockroaches around and crap plastering on the wall in room.man horrible.ni excursions 2009 book given to do but it is 2017
- T (6/5): NO COMMENT - IT WAS CLOSE TO AIRPORT AND SEA VIEW WAS FANTASTIC.
- holliday (6/5): 2 ** - Antalya it is a Good place FOR rest and eat a Good Good from Turckis
The color of Water it's amazing !!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice stay helpful and friendly staff
- Camuz (8/5): Best view ever - It's not suitable if you got small kids or if you are old or disable..Nice breakfast, beatiufull view, very close to Duden waterfall and other tourist places,Don't except 5 star service but it's perfect for what you pay, highly recommended
- GHASSAN (8/5): Don't miss your flight - Was good, not far from Antalya airport
- Haider Abbas (6/5): It was fine - It was fine. The staff was cooperative but the walking space in the room was very little. I found it difficult to unpack my suitcase.
- shawn (4/5): Nice view ONLY - Bad customer service , bad air conditioning , bad breakfast , horrible Internet ....
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice view, but noisy. - as other reviews have said, good sea view, good access to sea, noisy late night music from other hotel (but fairly sound proof door), in the landing path for the airport and poor internet. good place to get away for a few relaxing days, or to take a break at the end of a trip before flying out.
- Paul (4/5): Tired hotel - On arrival the hotel seemed OK, but it only took a couple of days to realise it was not a good choice.
Although the room was clean, it was uncomfortable. There were only four hangers for our clothes and no iron. The air con was noisy when on and was not in a good position in the room. The bed near the window got blasted with cold air to the point of being in a blizard.
The air con was only turned on in the restaurant occasionally. Bearing in mind it was 40C+ on most days, it was like eating in a sauna. The food was OK, there was always something that was edible, but not a lot of choice.
The biggest problem was the "music" in the pool area. If you like European synthesised pop and rap played very loudly, you will love it!!! The staff were constantly being asked to turn it down, but it seemed to go back to deafening levels quite quickly. Perhaps that is the reason the pool was not very busy at all?
Aircraft pass directly over the hotel, so there is aircraft noise.
- fatalkickback (6/5): Will not stay again - I was accepting better services and standard from this hotel however as disappointed with customer service, food and overall standards. Best thing was the private dive spot right behind the hotel where you can enjoy a day of diving and swimming. Thee staff was not friendly nor welcoming. The food as disaster as the food at the breakfast buffet was not labeled and you were not sure what is being served. It was bigger problem for us as we are veggies. When asked about what food is being served, they will pick on the food and check if it has meat or whether it was veg. Location is away from main Lara beach and the city center. Will not recommend or go back.
- trevor (8/5): long wweekeng getaway - all the staff were very friendly and Helpfull
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the beach, kinda small. - Nothing wrong with this hotel! But, you get what you pay for. Got the room for me and a friend and after "unpacking" there's not much room to walk around. Great if you want to explore the real Antalya! Fantastic view, but commercial flights are constant and sleeping was a bit difficult. Great for traveling students looking for economical stay.
- Dan (8/5): Great hotel for relaxing and basking in the sun - Wonderful hotel with excellent service. We loved lounging by the pool or taking the steps down to the sea where there's a very secluded bathing area. The hotel is a bit run down but everything works, the staff is friendly and helpful
Ir you are bothered by airplanes landing or taking off overhead, this might not be the place for you. We were not bothered by it
- Hassan (8/5): It was Coool and Good, Just Relax - It was fantatsic
- Verified traveler (2/5): Aaliyah tip one and only bad hotel I stayed - Hotel located in amazing Cliff sea side
But the rest all 0
Better to sleep on road side
I book for 2night 2room
And I left after one night I lost my money my time
If I had time I will go to consumer courts for cheating 3star
Not even -3star quality
😔
- daniel (4/5): I wouldnt stay there again. - The breakfast there everyday was absolutely terrible. The food heaters to keep the food wasn't working for 2 days. Only warm food they had was boiled potato and tomatoes with plastic cheese on it and some poor version of eggy bread. Be aware if you want a peaceful nights sleep this is not the place for you... In my 7 night stay there I heard 4 weddings at the hotel next door and one at our hotel. It really felt like they had the sound speakers in out room all night!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Plane spotting in the sun. - The hotel is fine for the price, with a very good swimming pool and not far from Antalya's airport. However, it is on the flight path for planes either landing or taking off, although the noise didn't bother us. It's a hotel well known to plane spotters and while we were there, there were about ten British plane spotters photographing and noting down the numbers of the planes that went over every few minutes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): One night stay ok - Spent here one night only. There was a wedding by the pool with incredible loud music. Impossible to sleep. Beds need some updating, for one night and very tired I guess it'll do it, but for more than that no way. For one night stop between airport and final destination ok. But for a longer stay, no way.
- hakan (2/5): bad hotel rude staff - The worst hotel experience I've encountered the rudest staff my advice is to stay away
- Fariba (6/5): Bad wifi service! - The power in the levator went off and we got stuck in the elevator and there was noone to help and even after that, they didn't say sorry. We had to wait till the power came back on. They also wanted to charge us for every little thing.
Our room on the fourth floor had great see view but the wifi was not accessible 90% of the time.
- Andrew (8/5): great view of the sea, enjoyed it all - great stay, home away from home. I went with my wife, it was like a holiday we had not taking for a long time. Like a second honeymoon.
- Ghassan ALHajjar (6/5): Good location, close to Antalya airport. - Was not bad. The location of the hotel is helpful to reach Antalya airport for any connection flight and that was the main reason that i choose Lara hotel.
- StevieK (8/5): Great views - The hotel is rather dated, although clean. The Wi-Fi is frustratingly intermittent. The staff do their best to speak English, but the hotel tends to cater for Turkish and Russian speakers. The reception area is pleasant, although in the evening the air-con is switched off. The pool and area are cleaned daily. Breakfast is geared to the more local palate but is adequate with bread eggs and cheese. We ate in the restaurant once for dinner, and thereafter took a taxi to local restaurants (taxi fare is around 10 lira). The bathrooms are clean and modern, but there are no toiletries. The maid service is good and the rooms air conditioned. Planes fly over every few minutes but after a few you tend not to notice them. There were four weddings during the week we stayed, all located around the pool and pool bar. This did not impact or inconvenience guest and the music was over by midnight.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor cleaniness - Service was fine, but there were fleas in the bed. Good view and environment.
- David (6/5): Nice hotel for short break - For the price it represents good value for money. Food is good, especially the fresh salad and cheeses. Dinner offerings over a period of days could do with being more varied though. Rooms clean and comfortable. Outside area with pool and terrace very nice as is the small beach ( down a number of steps ) . Lovely views. Lifts were out of order twice during my 6 day stay. The only major problem was internet access which was non existant. This was not a wireless issue, but an internet provider limitation. I had to use the lobby of the hotel next door to check email.
Overall nothing bad enough to put me off going again. I will definitely return.
- Keith (8/5): Good clean hotel , food ,and facilities. - Nice hotel stayed for a week, food is good , pool and bar area nice.
Has own private beach which although not well looked after excellent to be able to swim and not be packed with crowds. Nice Walk along sea front to the right of the hotel.
Would come back again.
- Ayman (6/5): Good stay for family - Very comfert
- R.B (2/5): - ugh not happy. Bad service, the phone in the room did not work, and it smelled mold in the room. The aircraft flew right outside the windows, which did that you could not sleep properly at night.
Nah, I can not recommend this hotel ..
the only thing that was positive, was that the hotel is near by the sea - nice view. Why not make a top-standard hotel instead where??
- Verified traveler (10/5): very good location - recommended - very good service and the best location with a lovely private beach and a beautiful view from the balcony
- Kyle Olson (6/5): - Ina the hotel needs work but the staff is great and the view is perfect. Aslo the private secluded beach is a hidden gem and hard to find.
- aziz (8/5): - Lovely location. Hotel is really at a nice place. If you want to relax thn no better place thn this. Far from city. We had boufet breakfast and dinner. My family loved it.
Behaviour of staff is far below the desired standard. Don't book tours through hotel you would be disappointed. You better plan your tours yourself that would be half price and half time. Keep euros also with you when you go to turkey
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great for the a nice cheep holiday - The best thing about the hotel is the private beach. The Hotel is slightly isolated so you need to drive or use taxis to get to anywhere remotely interesting. there are some nice restaurants which are a long but pleasant walk away.
If you want clubs and night life then this is not the hotel or the area for you. if you want to relax and be calm then this is perfect.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Next to Beach - It was average (probably a little below average for a western traveler). If you are travelling from the US it was similar to say Red Roof or La Quinta. It wasn't exceptional. It wasn't bad either. It was cheap, and you get what you pay for. I booked it because it was next to a beach and wanted to swim and read everyday. It served that purpose. There are a few people at the reception desk. One of the guys was exceptionally nice. The internet sucked big time. I mean big time. If you are on the higher floors you need to go down to the lobby. It was nice to have currency exchange there but they exchange at a low rate.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst hotel and Satff - not for families. Small rooms with no blankets. Guess you get what you pay for!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice private beach - The Lara Hotel is kind of halfway between the old town and the main Lara beach, but quite accessible to both. The biggest plus point of the hotel is that it has it's own, secluded little beach - not too large but not too small either - so you don't have to travel to find someplace to chill out by the surf!
- World traveller (6/5): OK for the price - Hotel is a basic tourist class hotel, a little out of the main tourist area. Rooms are dated, beds are very hard. Linens were changed every day. The biggest problem with the hotel is not that it is under the flightpath for the airport but the weddings in the pool area every Friday, Saturday & Sunday night. The music is VERY loud and when the adjacent hotel hosts weddings on the same night ( as happened on The Saurday & Sunday night during our stay) there is a Turkish Battle of the Bands........till around 11:00 pm........if you had an early flight little sleep would be had. Food was edible, prepared for the package tour market.
Breakfast was boring after 3 days.....
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel, good price!!! - Good hotel for this price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Mohammed (6/5): Not bad - I stayed at the hotel one night i arrived from a long trip
To Antalya i choose a cheap hotel just because i knew i will arrive at
Night and leave early in the morning. For the price i paid
I got more than i expected the hotel is located on the sea
Nice view from the balcony comfortable bed
Clean bathroom although there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom
I just didnt bother asking to change the room i closed the door and went to sleep
The breakfast was fine enough to get you on for the day
I would definitly stay there again if i choose to fly there again in a short trip only
One more thing the hotel transfere by taxi cost each way about $20
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good for sun bathing and swimming - OK for sun bathing and swimming. Good for couples.
- Verified traveler (6/5): I HADEXPECTED MORE !!! - i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.
- nerma (10/5): hotel experience - Great hotel location. Food was delicius!Highly recomended to everyone.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quality base on price - we were there for 6 days, nice beach, nice weather, clean room , good breakfast and dinner but all about cost. in a 3.5 star hotel. it was good enough.
worst thing was smelling smoke in room specially when we turned A/C on. other thing is no body knows English very well!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Lara Hotel - Not a great place to stay. For some reason they are very keen on holding on to passports until the next day after check in, so that they can input details onto system. Didnt want that and insisted they input details straight away, which took all of 2 minutes!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Only advantage - it is close to airport - Lara hotel is close to Antalya airport, but that is only advantage. Otherwise hotel is old, design is ugly, rooms are uncomfortable, hallways smell like tobacco (probably smoking was allowed inside for many years). Staff is trying to be nice, but prohibiting posters all over front desk making it hard. Hotel hosts noisy wedding receprions. You can't relax in your room until band finishes playing downstairs. I would not recommend to stay in Lara Hotel unless you want to stay close to airport before your departure.
- Darlene (8/5): - Fantastic beaches nearby
- Hugh (6/5): Lara Hotel, It was just OK - PROS:
* The hotel staff were all very courteous and friendly.
* The food service was clean and the food appeared fresh.
* The pool area was very nice and well maintained.
CONS:
* The "complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access" was only available in the un-air conditioned lobby, NO internet was available in the rooms.
* When I booked the room online, I asked for a double bed, but the staff said "none of the rooms had double beds", only single beds.
* The guest rooms are pretty small in comparison to my other hotel stays.
* The beach is actually a rock that is at the bottom of the steps (alot of steps). It is not a sandy beach, but yet is private and great place to swim with a sandy shallow bottom.
OVERALL:
* You sorta get what you pay for. Some would feel the place is adequate, others would not feel that way...I did save alot of money :).
