• MALCOLM (10/5): - Genuinely lovely staff who are always helpful. Sensibly priced food options in the hotel. Only a few minutes walk to the Mall of the Emirates and the Metro if you need anything else.
• Zaheer (10/5): - I stayed here with family. this hotel is excellent and the staff are exemplary. To name a few, Surinder, Reena, Nagla were amazing and offered brilliant customer service. The room which was a family room was very spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast area is so good and the selection of the buffet is great. There is also a egg cooking station and the chefs that cook the eggs are so polite as they work under a lot of pressure from many guest orders. Well done to you guys. The carpark is easy to access and easy to find parking. The pool is great too and there is always a lifeguard on duty. I recommend this hotel.

When I wanted to book for extra room to accomodate my whole family I was told its fully booked for the next couple of days . I instantly booked through expedia and found a room for 2 days . When l tried to check in for that extra room l was told the booking doesnt extra . I tried to check inthe next day and was told heck in for the previous day was a no show and there was no refund for that .

• HAMAD (2/5): - Title: A Disappointment Masked as Hospitality Having visited this hotel a few times in the past, I decided to give it another chance this year, trusting in the saying, “Third time’s the charm.” But with this establishment, there will be no third, fourth, or fifth. Ever. My previous experiences here had been unimpressive, and while I can’t recall the specifics of my earlier reviews, I hoped against hope that time had brought about change. It hadn’t. Let’s start with the one undeniable advantage: the hotel’s location, nestled in the heart of Dubai’s meticulously planned urban landscape. But let’s be clear—this advantage owes nothing to the hotel itself. The credit belongs entirely to the visionary urban planning that has transformed Dubai into a global tourism hub. If this hotel enjoys even a shred of success, it is thanks to Dubai’s brilliance, not its own merits. Despite my reservations, I decided to book here again, clinging to the belief that proximity to success might somehow breed competence. Alas, this logic does not hold true for this hotel. Following a truly dismal experience at another hotel near Dubai Airport earlier in my trip, I thought this place might serve as a psychological balm. Instead, it proved to be just as dreadful—if not worse. However I was told the hotel was close due to flooding that took place 10 days before my arrival and I was offered an alternative hotel 30 km away in the middle of nowhere. I rejected and had to book an alternative hotel near by in the last minute which cost me much more. Because they were not bothered to notify me in advance.

From the check in staff (Ms. Paris) to the security staff (Ms. Reena), two remarkable and memorable staff members on their team, my short stay was filled with excellent customer service. I had left behind some very valuable documents in the safe in the room and forgot to pick them while I was checking out. Within an hour of me checking out I got an email from the customer service staff that I had left it there and to come collect it. I must say this was a life saver because my whole travel would have been a disaster without these documents. I cannot express my gratitude in words but THANK YOU!
• Verified traveler (6/5): One night experience - Although both the gym and pool are small they both are good. The pool has life guards so that kids can play freely. It is a rooftop pool and therefore can be enjoyed in peace during the day and early evening.The gym is well equipped for what it is. Due to environmental protection the room temperatures are set to a min of 24C. This is not very comfortable for those coming from a cold country. Although booking says 1400 check in. I was provided a room on arrival 1200. However the room was not cleaned properly. The carpet was not vacuumed, a large plastic wrapper was left on the floor. There was long hair left in the sink. Once I informed reception they were extremely apologetic wanted to offer me a new room and free travel to the airport. Breakfast is above average but not excellent. Quite a broad spectrum of food from pancakes to freshly made omelette so it will suffice.

Across the street from Emirates mall/metro and 20 or so minutes drive from the major tourist areas with taxis driving by the hotel all the time. The hotel is nice, quiet, clean and great if you don’t want to spend a crazy amount on a hotel.

The only thing that was upsetting is that even though we were on a line to check in, people kept on cutting un and the reception personnel would say nothing, thus encouraging a certain disorganization.

Washroom is very uncomfortable, shower is 60 cms on one dimension, so you bang the walls as you shower. I have been in multiple hotels in the ares, most are significantly bigger rroms and washrooms.

Mashreq Metro station is 10 min walk, or Mall of the emirates station around same time. rooms are ok, staff are nice, breakfast is crowded, better to go before 9.00am there is No Spa at the hotel, while Expedia state that SPA is on site. a lot of dining options in the area , 10 min walk to Emirates mall .

It’s clear that the HVAC system is not bringing in enough fresh air. You can tell right away when you enter the building and it gets much worse in the room. It’s a sick building and Novotel Should look at this seriously as it is a serious health issue.
