The 'Late Checkout' Paradox: I was denied a standard Diamond late checkout due to 'occupancy levels.' However, a quick system check showed standard rooms actively retailing for $344 for the same night. Denying a loyal member a 2-hour extension while having clear inventory is a 'soft lie' that undermines the Diamond program's value. 2. Low F&B Alpha: The $15 daily credit is mathematically insufficient here. When a basic breakfast sandwich at Muse or a buffet at Harvest Bistro requires a significant out-of-pocket overage + high tip expectations, the 'benefit' feels like a marketing gimmick rather than a perk. 3. The Resort Fee Irony: Paying a $50/day resort fee for 'amenities' while facing constant pressure for additional gratuities (even for simple luggage storage of a carry-on) creates a high-friction environment. Verdict: If you value transparency and elite recognition, look elsewhere. The hardware is nice, but the service algorithm is tuned for extraction, not hospitality. Bad value.

At first we were a little disappointed in the ambiance, but our waiters Luke and Nela made up for everything. Luke was informative and suggested some wonderful dishes to us. We ate incredibly well and we would highly suggest this restaurant.

We’ve stayed onsite at Disney at numerous resorts (Poly, Yacht, Wilderness, French Quarter), but we found the value lacking. We chose this hotel for its amazing pool and lazy river, room service (a must have for us and early mornings), and proximity to Hollywood and Disney Springs. Other than the shuttle (which was a little inconvenient so we wound up using Uber), it was perfect. We used some of the money we saved not staying on site to splurge on pool cabanas. All the restaurants were solid, room service was great (and fast), the room was beautiful, and all the staff were lovely. Next time, we will stay longer and try to get in some golf! The course looks gorgeous. We would stay here again.

Room comfortable and close proximity to parks Austin impressive each time we come is how amazing the breakfast stuff is at the harvest bistro What a great breakfast to happen for any long day at the park At harvest bistro our server John Paul always takes care of us and treats us like family in a day where service is becoming harder to get he goes beyond and above to start our morning on a happy and pleasant way- Let me also say that everyone else at harvest bistro is also amazing as we have had several other outstanding server but John Paul is truly a gem and makes this hectic disney hustle stay start on a great note All in all everyone here is amazing and our favorite hotel Definitely recommend this hotel

Ashlee was the Manager and man did she take care of us! Sushi selections were out of this world and she suggested a knockout Sake called Sake Baby! Heaven sake! Best cold sake I have ever had! Ashlee was just simply a joy to chat with and took care our every need that evening! Bravo young lady! Will be back soon for sure!

My son had a cheer comp on TV, and Jacob didn’t just shrug—he grabbed the remote, flipped channels, even adjusted the screen so I could see every flip and tumble. Total lifesaver. Staff like him turn a good spot into a great one. Coming back next time I’m in town.”

The burger and salmon were very good and the kids meal was a large portion. Would return if back at this hotel.

- NYCNic0le (10/5): Great Disney stay with a 5 year old - My husband, 5 year old, and I had a great stay during a recent Disney vacation. You’re definitely out of the Disney bubble here, but you’re nearby, the hotel is beautiful, there are a bunch of dining options, and the pool is huge. It seems to be primarily a convention hotel, but that actually made the hotel quieter and the pool less busy. Plus the convention side of the hotel is separate from the sleeping tower so it doesn’t fully take over the hotel. We found this hotel very easy to navigate. We’d pop down for a Starbucks coffee and a donut in the morning, easily get in an uber to get to the parks, and grab a drink from the lobby bar and take it up to our room after a long day. There were also cute details like free popcorn in the lobby on the weekend afternoons. One of our selling points of the hotel was the water slide, since my son loves them. It’s open from 10-5 only, and on a chilly weekday they opened it at noon. There is staff at the top of the bottom of the slide to make sure everyone is safe. There is a strict 40” height requirement. The slide is also conveniently located next to the pool bar/restaurant. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back!

The room was stunning with a fantastic view. The hotel atmosphere is lively with a lot of activity at the pools. The location is perfect for access to Disney World. The shuttles to Disney were fantastic. The hotel is not cheap, but the cost is much less than Disney properties for the same rooms, location, and amenities. We loved this hotel

I got in early from a red eye flight and thankfully they were able to accommodate an early check so I really appreciate it! Staff are courteous from valet service to the front desk and restaurant staff. I love the pool and the lazy river. I can hang out there all day. The hotel is pretty nice, very relaxing it gives a nice vacation vibe! Lots of restaurant choices onsite plus you can also access the restaurant at the Waldorf as the hotel is connected. Lots of conventions while I am there but the lobby is spacious so there's enough room. It's also family friendly and free shuttle to Disney. I will definitely stay here again.
