Guest Reviews
Volveremos!!
- Joel (9/5): Très bien pour une halte - Très bon rapport qualité prix Petit déjeuner trop classique
- ENRIQUE (1/5): Pésimo trato - Nada Nada
- JP Barrios (10/5): Una experiancia Espectacular.
- Lucas (8/5): -
- Jaime (6/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): A haven of beauty - Beautiful location with lovely gardens, cascades and swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food was very good.
- Ingrid (9/5): -
- LGFPS (9/5): Good hotel, will come back! - Quiet and cozzy place to have a time for yourself in the middle of the beautiful forest of Misiones. Close to the Parana River so you can see a little bit of it. Breakfast is honest. Room is ok, no TV. Shower is ok, but in our case the flow of water was a little bit slow. There´s not much things to do close to the hotel, you definetively need a car to visit places.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect retreat in the friendliest hotel - We enjoyed every moment at Bemberg.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and exceptionally kind, they made us feel so welcomed. The grounds were beautiful and we adored finding all of the small surprises dotted around- a treehouse was probably the best surprise! We loved sitting up there with books and watching the sun go down over the river.
The food was unbelievably yummy and we ate there everyday. Overall, it was an exceptional experience and I would recommend to anyone searching for a relaxing holiday, submerged in a glorious natural landscape. The shower pressure was very weak- but that’s just being picky! It was wonderful.
- Louis (8/5): Very good - The whole area is super nice and good maintained.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Food was overall tasty! Would be nice if more then two members of the staff would speak English.
Some fish for dinner menu would be nice as well since the veggie options were quite repetitive but tastewise they were good.
Some eggs or some fresh veggies for breakfast would be nice.
In the pool was a lot of dead bees and other stuff swimming would be nice if there was a cleaning routine.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Luscious and luxurious plus tranquil - Such an incredible place steeped in history and on a stunning property. Just loved the atmosphere and nature. Food was delicious and the staff were all excellent. Top quality spot. Would love to go back one day for longer Found some rubbish around the back of my room but as soon as I told staff it was cleaned up. Otherwise perfect
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent hotel in quiet surrounding. Ideal starting point for visits to the falls. Very kind staff and great cook too.
- Pavanjit (8/5): we loved every minute as the staff is just incredible - the staff & its location which is remote but beautiful for relaxing getaway it’s an old colonial bungalow & run down a bit. maybe that is to add to the charm
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The setting was excellent and location was very special but the food was very average.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I really enjoyed the dining area which is a covered colonnade and looks over green lawns to the river. Colourful butterflies and birds abound.
The highlight for me was the guided jungle walk with Marco as he has such a keen eye for spotting nature and his knowledge of the history of the area is extensive. It was wonderful to visit the church designed by the renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo and see the stained and etched glass windows.
- MJ & Karen (10/5): Calm and peaceful oasis - Delightfully calm and peaceful oasis in the Argentine rainforest near to Iguazo Falls - great service and fare
Hotelservice sehr engagiert.Nichts für Familien mit Kindern.
- Matthias (10/5): Genau das Richtige. Missiones Traditionshotel. - Fantastisch. Schön abgelegen. Ruhig zum ausspannen, dazu super Natur. Exkursionsmöglichkeiten gut, mit etwas Fantasie ausbaufähig. Luxus Öko-Hotell, sanfter Tourismus - die Zukunft.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good stay for two nights in the middle of nowhere. Probably better for longer stay if you want to see the property and the falls as it is a good 40 min drive. Staff were fantastic and dinner was good. Breakfast was standard sugary Argentinian affair, nothing to rave about or complain about.
- James (10/5): Atmospheric Hotel in the Rainforest - Had a fantastic stay at the Don Puerto Bemberg whilst visiting Iguazu Falls. It rained on day one so we were provided with a walking tour of the rainforest which was a once in a lifetime experience. The location is about 50km from Iguazu so be prepared for a taxi or like ourselves catch a bus once down in the village.
- Shane (10/5): A True Jungle Gem!!! - This was a refreshing retreat from the crowds of Iguazu Falls. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. At the same time they respected our privacy and desire to soak in the peaceful surroundings.
We enjoyed a private walk to the nearby waterfall/swimming hole. The beauty and solitude of the jungle enveloped us.
We were delighted with the regional cuisine served at the onsite restaurant. And the waiter staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend communicating in Spanish with the staff, but the experience can still be enjoyed if you only speak English.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful atmosphere - A hidden treasure!
