We didn't have a Chinese phone number which is required for ordering a food delivery and one of the portiers let us enter her number into the app so that we could order food (we came back late and didn't expect that the cafe at the hotel would be already closed). The room was nice, we had a great view, and the breakfasts were tasty. The hotel is very conveniently located next to the metro line 11 (the entrance is just across the street) and we chose this hotel because we traveled to the Shanghai F1 GP which is also on line 11. This is not directly related to the hotel itself, but I expected that anything by Marriott would have a decent restaurant and I was mistaken. Breakfasts were great but the food from the regular non-breakfast menu wasn't, so it's better to eat lunch and dinner somewhere else.

The service was warm, attentive, and truly professional. I would especially like to thank the Lobby Manager Jacky for the thoughtful assistance and exceptional hospitality, which made my stay even more pleasant. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience. I would happily stay here again. Nothing .

L’emplacement est calme, proche de la station de métro Xujiahui donc facilement accessible. La salle de sport est très bien fournie et je n’ai malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine… Les chambres sont un peu vétustes, la télévision n’était pas nette, difficilement utilisable car trop vieille, mais cela n’a pas affecté la qualité du séjour et du service proposé

Nuestra estadía era de 5 dias y nos fuimos al 2do porque no se podía estar del olor, generaba dolor de cabeza. Una pena. Encontramos huesos de pollo abajo de la cama

Завтрак отличный, но есть одно но - каждый день одно и то же, меню завтрака особо не обновлялось. странно работал душ в номере, не было телевидения ни на английском, ни на русском языке. С телевидением вообще беда.

- Ling (2/5): - Had a few bug bites during the stay which I didn’t pay too much attention. But when I came back from the trip, I had the bed bug infestation in my home. I know this might be incidental, but I didn’t stay at the cheap motel… I hope this won’t happen to any guests. I will never go back again!

- Sharon (9/5): I was very happy and comfortable staying here, will definitely book again when I return to Shanghai - Breakfast was good, lots of choice and no rush to finish as plenty of tables. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were wonderful and the room was always clean and well stocked with necessities. Staff in the Executive lounge were attentive and friendly, I was impressed that they knew my preferences within a few days.

- brianh258 (4/5): Poor Exec Lounge experiences - The hotel is in a good location and the breakfast was very good. But unfortunately, the Executive Lounge was a disaster. The first night I went, the food had been mostly wiped out and I got the last beer. I asked if they were going to restock the beer and the attendant went and retrieved a warm beer for me! And they never restocked the fridge. Another night I went up and they had started a waitlist. I've never encountered this before. I just left and went outside the hotel for my needs. What a disappointment. Exec Lounge access is important to me; it's the only reason I keep my status with Marriott. They really need to improve this experience. Their most valued clients use the facility.

- EdMotion (10/5): Five star staff training for a mid range hotel - Great hotel. The staff are clearly trained to five star level despite the hotel being midrange. The hotel is very Chinese and the meals are very Chinese but they really work hard in practicing English and greeting foreign guests. Great Lounge. I was impressed that manager Bertha made it a point to remember my name. That’s five star by marriot’s standards. She was also very warm and accommodating great problem solving skills.

- Catherine (7/5): Great value for money if you are only intending to just stay for few hours - The location is good 5mins walk to the nearest subway and surrounded by shopping mall The room is dark and old, tv is super small. Toiletries given is only a bar of handsoap , shower cap. I guess toothbrush will be given when asked
- Carsten (9/5): Good business hotel in bustling Xujiahui - The location is wonderful, central but quiet in Xujiahui with its multitude of dining options and several subway lines. The hotel was not too busy. The room separations were not too solid, it was easy to overhear the neighbors.
