柏諺 (5/5): - 酒店位置以及前台資深的女經理服務態度專業性都很棒，退房時的男性服務員態度及專業性也都很好，位置離地鐵站不遠走路能到晚班的前台女性年輕服務員，態度及專業性極差，如果不想做服務業其實可以不用勉強自己，下雨天想要與你們前台借雨傘，表明自己為房客也是先試探性地詢問是否有雨傘出借服務，也不確認直接就跟我說沒有這個服務並用不太好的語氣問說你是誰，下午協助check in的女經理立即出面說客人表明是房客，詢問房號後就將雨傘借給我們了，看到我們拿到雨傘他好像很不開心的死盯著我們

Pei (6/5): Does not live up to the 'Small Luxury Hotel' name - The hotel has a fair price point and a decent location. It’s close to local attractions, but not quite walkable, so expect to take a taxi. While the value is okay, the 'ghostly' atmosphere and slow elevators made for a frustrating experience. The hotel's interior design feels overly dim and lacks warmth, leaning more toward 'eerie' than 'atmospheric.' Functional issues added to the frustration: the elevators are slow and unresponsive, and the heavy room doors are surprisingly difficult to operate. Dining was equally disappointing, with a monotonous and overpriced breakfast. Service at the front desk was inconsistent, ranging from lukewarm to outright cold.

Robert (8/5): Stayed there my last two visits and likely will stay on the next. - Didn't have breakfast. Staff very attentive and helpful. Clean, modern, artsy, quirky interior and the location is excellent. Even though it's centrally located, the area is quiet but within easy walking of good restaurants, a good night market, and a Metro station. As with many new/upgraded hotels, the shower stall is not fully enclosed - a half glass wall - water inevitably soaks the bathroom floor and bathmat. Not a big thing but it's such an easy fix.

Thomas (5/5): C’est un vieux hôtel avec les décors un peu moches et l’équipement n’est pas à la hauteur. Vu les prix, il y a bien d’au - C’est bien situé dans le centre ville. Il y a une moustique quand je suis arrivé, le lit est très vieux donc cela fait beaucoup de bruit et le métal au tour de la porte de la salle de bain, des toilettes sont rouillés. La climatisation fait beaucoup de bruit également. Aussi, le wifi a très mal fonctionné.

I believe her name is Pamela and another other lady, not so much. They seemed to be annoyed with any sort of question and just generally did not seem happy to be at work which is unfortunate and quite jarring. I cannot speak to the quality of the breakfast. We opted not to have breakfast on site as there are many nice cafes and restaurants close by. The wifi/internet needs an upgrade, it was down consistently and the television freezes. Bathroom could use more hooks to hang personal items. Furniture in rooms could use updating/modernising. Very comfortable bed. Offer of happy hour drinks are commendable, however, the bar area is too cold to sit and enjoy the drinks comfortably.

Linh C. Mauer (9/5): Excellent stay in this boutique hotel in Taipei's Da'an district - Very professional and friendly staff at the reception during check-in procedure. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. The location is great, right in the center of Da'an district, and a short walk to Da'an Metro station and to a night market as well as many cafes, restaurants and shops. The only thing I wish had been better was the low water pressure for both the shower and bathtub.

I4504SDalbertw (6/5): A GENUINE review - Refurbishment is needed due to severe wear and tear especially on the wood ware. Fairly humid in Room 901 and a dehumidifier is put there. Wall paper beside the windows are heavily stained with mold and mold is hazardous to health. The TV is bearly audible even when the volume is turned on to the maximum. The sheer needs a wash as it is quite dirty and wrinkled. Cold buffet breakfast even for the hot dishes. Only the congee, tea and coffee have temperatures! On the more positive note, the toiletries are of good quality and the bed is quite comfortable with good bedding. Staff in the lobby that I have encountered are mostly hospitable but with no smile. However, the young male housekeeper that I met on 9/F upon my departure greeted me with a smile and that concluded my observation for my stay.

730ozgee (10/5): Lovely hotel with great staff! - Our experience at Eclat Taipei was more than excellent. We had to do a last minute booking and they were fully accomodating for that and made the check-in process quick and easy. The hotel is filled with exotic art and sculptures which was a really cool experience. The service is 100% with reception staff always smiling and greeting you at entry and exit and opening elevators and doors for you as you walk in. Staff seem very genuine and take the time to ask about your day. The room itself was clean and had all amenities needed such as a Dyson hair dryer. The hotel takes the environment in to consideration by not providing single use disposable items but still has other essentials which we found was a great balance. Daily room cleaning including fresh towels and water bottles was provided as well as complimentary coffee and drinks. Hotel is nice and close to MRT and Bus lines and main streets full of shopping and food. Although slightly pricey, you get what you lay for. Special thanks to Milton and Dean who were primarily looking after us and gave us a luxurious yet warm experience. I could not recommend this hotel enough !

Would not recommend. - Location was walkable to a lot of places Hotel was really old, light switch and aircon switch were not working properly. We couldn’t switch off the lights in the room. Phone was not working as well, aircon keep having a clicking sound and we couldn’t rest properly.

Christian (1/5): - Most horrible experience at check in. I had made a booking mistake by one day, which was my fault and arrived a day late (booking for 2 nights). Ladies at check in simply told me my booking was cancelled. I was treated incredibly poorly in this situation, one of the ladies was rude and disrespectful. I have never experienced this in Taiwan before.
leeterenceh (10/5): A great place to stay in Taipei - Excellent location close to MRT station and a variety of restaurants. Modern artwork in the lobby a delight. Staff very friendly and helpful both at check in and throughout our stay. Room spacious and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. No noise at night. Food and drink offerings good. Breakfast more than sufficient and staff available to assist if needed. We stayed 9 nights whilst on holiday and it was perfect for us.

Stephanie (10/5): Lovely Boutique Hotel - The staff were excellent and hugely helpful. The room and the wider property were clean and well maintained, the location is excellent for exploring Hanoi. Our bathroom needed a bit of a revisit. It looked a little tired compared with other rooms we saw, and when we showered, the water went everywhere. We were only there for one night but if it had been for longer I would have requested a change.

Sally-Anne (9/5): Well priced hotel with interesting artwork and very helpful staff - Art work was very interesting to look at. Reception staff were super welcoming and efficient. Breakfast buffet was good, with lots of choices. Room was comfortable. Everything was good. If I had to find something, it would be that the vanity/toilet area in the bathroom was a little cramped and the toilet lid would not stay down, which made me feel like my towel would drop into it when I was drying myself. But a very small issue! Not really a probelm.

O8277SAsandrah (10/5): Interesting boutique hotel - Husband and I stayed for 4 nights. What makes the hotel is the staff - warm welcome on arrival, at breakfast or even just walking in and out of the hotel. The artwork is interesting. Room itself a good size with everything you could possibly want. There's a lot of buttons and tech. Great power shower. TV has free movies. Breakfast has an unnecessarily huge selection - Asian, Western etc. We managed to get to complimentary hour a couple of times for some free drinks that were enjoyed. Hotel in an excellent location - under 10 minutes to a metro station - the metro system is easy to use and a perfect way to get about; also close to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, 7-Eleven etc. An enjoyed stay.
Angus (10/5): Upscale whimsy in the heart of Taipei - Eclat's upscale whimsy jumps out at you from the moment you pull-up outside. The decor is sheik with a dose of the hilarious, which echos through the afternoon tea -- a free drink with any of several condiments (Doritos and popcorn on a floral plate with gold leaf, anyone?). Room were modern with fewer whimsical touches, but still some fun (an LED cycling through the rainbow). If I had a critique, it would be that the breakfast buffet was rather predictable.
