Staffing is skeletal but friendly enough when you find one. Must have over a hundred rooms, but only perhaps 20 guests when we were there. Breakfast on the basic side.

• NorthernTraveler2013 (8/5): Quite comfortable retreat - After some long days and rough travel in Patagonia the Hotel Territorio was a welcome retreat. Spacious rooms in a quiet location away from the downtown action. The carpet in the halls could use an upgrade and there is no pool. Other than that, loved this place.

• Stephanie058 (6/5): Could have been better. - Certainly not the most attractive hotel from the outside, and a very long way out of the main town for decent restaurants - needed a cab. Inside, the hotel is attractively furnished, but the building is very long and thin. The ceiling leaked in the corridor in two places and was not cleared up. Our room was very clean, with large bathroom and comfortable beds, but there were no tea of coffee making facilities and charges were made for any that we collected and brought to the room ourselves from the bar. Breakfast was adequate but the restaurant for dinner was very limited indeed. Staff were very friendly.
• Debi (10/5): Lovely modern hotel with views away from the hustle and bustle of Centro - Lovely modern hotel with great public spaces and large comfy rooms with a great view. Nice bathroom, good wifi and comfy bed. Ample free parking and easy access We didn’t mind the longish walk down the beach to restaurants but others might. It wasn’t very busy so breakfast choices were poor and the fresh fruit frankly shouldn’t have been served as it was too old.

Breakfast very poor, we were 4 days and all days the same, we have to ask the staff to bring more food because was finished and they didn't refill. The scramble eggs were cold and dry.

• Christine (9/5): Excellent place to stay near Puerto Madryn - This hotel is on the outskirts of Puerto Madryn but close to the beach and the room had wonderful views over the gulf. The breakfast options are very good and we enjoyed dinner there a couple of times. Loved design of the hotel and the spacious lounge area was well appointed. Nothing really.

Our room air conditioning did not work properly and they offered an extra fan, rather than proposing to change the room in an empty hotel. Forget SPA… Not worthy even far the price, ci suffering also prices in Puerto Madryn They forgot to charge two coffees at breakfast (where they recycle the fruits of the day before…) and sent me a mail asking for payment after check out… two coffees Look for another hotel

Its the nicest hotel in Puerto madryn The lamp in the table wasn't assembled correctly so when I bumped the table the unsecured glass lampshade fell off and shattered. They charged me 120 USD for an IKEA glass lampshade what was already damaged and not secured to the lamp... Kind of annoying but whatever. Also Internet is slow but not due to the ISP, they use routers from 2005. I brought my own router from home and instead of 7 mbps download I got 26. They need to upgrade their old Cisco routers for something made this decade

• Mark (10/5): Wonderful location, Very pleasant views and extremely warm and friendly staff - The overall view from the common lounge areas was exceptional. The hotel was in a nice quiet place with a short trip to more touristy areas. Much more peaceful and luxurious than a place with constant movement of guests.
• John (8/5): - This property is uniquely odd. We arrived at night by car after long drive and couldn't figure out where the entrance was. The grounds are unkept and access roads gravel. It seemed to be an unfinished construction project. Under the light of day the entire upscale neighborhood behind the hotel is in the same unfinished state. Of the 36 rooms I think only 3-4 were occupied. Inside hotel was nicely decorated inluding great room with superb view of the bay. Restaurant breakfast was good, evening meal not so much--go elsewhere.

Rooms very large and well appointed, very large beautiful bathroom. Nice breakfast. We only stayed one night but wish we had longer. Town is a typical beach town.

Although within easy walking distance of the center’s shops and restaurants, we ended up eating at the hotel itself for two of our three nights, and found the food quite good. The room was clean and comfortable with a great ocean view. The staff was also extremely accommodating and helpful. Easily the best hotel we stayed in during our entire two weeks in Argentina.

• 129maryy (4/5): Needs attention to subpar rooms - When we arrived, we were impressed with the lobby area. Very nicely done with very nice art and of course the full size whale bone down the hall. Went downhill from there. The girl at checkin showed us the elevator and said byebye. Ok. Our room 403 was worse that the worst Motel 6 in the US. Altho the room was large that's where the good stopped. Let's start with the room - I found a hair on my pillow, NO water in the room, old stains on the chairs and bench at foot of bed, the bed was like concrete. The toilet room had a mysterious hole in the wall, bad patch job on wall by shower, shower miniscule, cheap ripped roller shade on window in shower area. Altho the menu card showed a charge for nespresso, there was not a machine in the room. The chairs were chipped and in need of a refinish. The blanket was thin as were the pillows. Our one meal in the restaurant was mediocre. The pumpkin soup was excellent, but our pizza with arugula was awful. Mountains of cheese with a LOT of raw arugula thrown on top. Yuck. This is not a quiet hotel. The floors are concrete so you can hear chairs, etc scraping along the floors. You do have an ocean view but it is noisy as there is a main drag right outside the hotel. The "grounds" were weedy and the back of the hotel had a used pallet sitting by the window. We had a funny experience with the language barrier. We thought we had ordered two glasses of wine, but got a bottle instead. Well, we had to drink it and it was delicious. This hotel could be very nice if management would look at the rooms as a guest would. The breakfast was subpar, your typical bread and cereal. No bacon and no service at table. There were scrambled eggs in a warmer however.
• PhilKennedy (8/5): Nicely designed but needs some TLC - It’s a nicely designed hotel: a modern feel, lots of wood and polished concrete, nicely laid out. The breakfast room has large windows and great views across the bay. Bizarrely, so did my bathroom: definitely one for an exhibitionist. (There was a blind.) My room was bright and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows some of the best I had on this trip. The place could do with a bit of TLC. My bath towel had a hole in it. The top of the skirting boards hadn’t been cleaned for months - if ever - although the hotel generally felt and smelt clean. My door was stiff and the lock kept failing, requiring a couple of trips to the reception desk. The restaurant/bar is also a bit of an issue. In fairness, they don’t describe it as a restaurant, but they do serve food in the evenings, which is useful given that the hotel is about 20-30 minutes from most of the town’s restaurants. There are only 4 tables set up for dining and you have to make a reservation to use one. I could have eaten at a less suitable table without a reservation. I went back to my room to decide whether to go out and found the dining tables still empty when I came back 30 minutes later. I was allowed one then. Perhaps if I spoke Spanish I’d understand the system? It was the only hotel I stayed in with no complementary drinking water. That would be an easy improvement to make. Managing the hotel’s idiosyncrasies are some friendly and likeable staff.

Mal el servicios, mal la recepcion, la habitación esraba sucia, las toallas tan gastadas de viejas q se transparentaban, los vidrios sucios chorreadoa de aguaby tierra, no veias por la ventana por la mugre de los vidrios. A la hora del desayuno nos hicieron problema por estar 5 ' antes, 6:55 am, a pesar de haber avisado en la recpcion la noche anterior, y faltando tan solo 5 ' para las 7 am, nos hicieron problemas por el desayuno, no sirvieron nunca el jamos ni el queso ni el huevo... todo mal. No lo recomiwndo y exijo me devuelvan el dinero abonado. Una verdadera estafa. Aun estoy esperando la resolicion de mi reclamo.

• Oscar (10/5): Best hotel in the region - Although located a little outside the main centre of town, an easy 30min walk gets you there, and it is well situated for excellent views of the waterfront and access to roads out of the city. The hotel is well equipped, nicely furnished, the rooms pleasantly decorated. Service is VERY good, with staff going the extra mile to be helpful. An awesome base to explore the entire region.

El piso del baño se mojaba (la pileta de patio estaba tapada), cada vez que nos duchamos teniamos que poner una toalla en el piso; se lo dijimos en recepcion y no hicieron nada para solucionarlo . el sauna seco es muy chico, de los mas chicos que v, no podes recostarte. el unico hidro que tienen esta en el spa y es un hidro individual de una casa comun, no hay hidro en las habitaciones. El horario de spa es muy limitado - solo por la tarde despues de las 17 hasta las 20 el ultimo turno. A medianoche cierran el bar de recpecion y no tenes a quien pedir nada si queres tomar un trago ali. Lo unico bueno es el desayuno
• Douglas F (10/5): Great location - Staff was helpful and friendly. Calm cool solidly built, like staying in a museum. Delicious breakfast and very quiet room. Close to the EcoCenter and Welsh history museum, and across the street from the beach. Easy connection to town and to Peninsula Valdez and Punto Tombo tours.
