- Maureen (5/5): We all had a very enjoyable time regardless, just disappointed, a little disrespectful to me - Ive stayed many times in Mama Shelter and this stay was for my son Andrew Sillitoes 50th birthday. There were 11 in total staying, plus we paid £350 for a room for the celebration including food. Plus we spent large amounts of money on drinks and food though out the five days, i repeat LARGE amounts. We were NOT offered any special rates I have recommended your hotel to many and still no special offers for myself. So what i didn’t like was when a member of staff questioned my son on his payments for coffee - i paid for breakfast and i didn’t once eat breakfast so my grandson having a bowel of cereal a couple of times and Andrew ate mine on 2 occasions. I find this insulting, disappointing and quite honestly appalling.

- Ivanst92 (4/5): Schönes Hotel mit tollen Zimmern, jedoch mit deutlichen Abstrichen beim Parken, Frühstück und durch - Das Hotel selbst ist wirklich sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren sauber, komfortabel und haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Lage grundsätzlich war praktisch. Das Parken war leider anders als angegeben, da sich der Parkplatz nicht direkt neben dem Hotel befindet, sondern im angrenzenden Shoppingcenter. Es waren kaum freie Plätze verfügbar und wir mussten länger warten, bis ein Parkplatz frei wurde. Besonders störend war die große Baustelle direkt neben dem Hotel – hier wurde sogar am Samstag und Sonntag gearbeitet. Beim Frühstück wirkte das Personal teilweise überfordert, Teller gingen aus und die Tische wurden nur sehr langsam abgeräumt, sodass Gäste selbst Platz schaffen mussten.

Loved the area and the public transport in Prague is brilliant. My room was a little chilly and the temperature control didn't make sense.

O quart - O hotel tem um bom café da manhã, os funcionários são atenciosos. Quarto espaçoso Nos quartos tem livros, super bacana, porém se vc for dar uma lida neles a quantidade de poeira é enorme. Precisa de mais cuidados na limpeza dos itens no quarto

Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious cocktails, and a fantastic atmosphere with great DJs and music in the evenings. The location is perfect: centrally located and ideal for exploring Prague. The bed… it’s too stiff!

The location was perfect, my room super clean, the bed huge and very comfortable and the French-speaking team at the desk extremely welcoming and helpful in every detail - particularly Julian. All in all a great place to feel at home in Prague!

- Alice (3/5): Front office manger was horrible at customer service and luckily the operations manager was much better. - It was comfortable. We had an XXL room so a bedroom and living space. Close to were we wanted to be.
- Martin (9/5): - Celková kvalita ubytování určitě splnila naše očekávání. Snídaně byla velmi dobrá. Hodně mě baví výtvarná stránka konceptu, je to vítané oživení. Hotel jsem vybíral kvůli možnosti bezproblémového parkování přímo u budovy hotelu (vyzvedával jsem v Praze po opravě kávovar a nechtěl jsem, aby přes noc prošel mrazem). Po příjezdu na místo jsme zjistili, že z přilehlého parkoviště se bez varování stalo staveniště (jaro 2026) a jen shodou náhod se nám podařilo zaparkovat na jednom z mála zbylých parkovacích míst přímo před hotelem. O víkendu asi bude možné najít parkování v okolních ulicích, případně za relativně vysokou částku půjde parkovat v přilehlém obchodním centru, ale popis ohledně možností parkování podle všeho aktuálně neodpovídá skutečnosti.

- Alena (8/5): Lepší než jsme čekali - Velmi pohodlná a nadstandartně velká postel (jedna přikrývka) Vybavenost pokoje (kávovar, sprchový gel, krém na ruce, taška na špinavé prádlo) Téměř jsme neslyšeli ostatní hosty Velká sprcha i pokoje (hezky tématicky vše ladilo) Náš pokoj měl i "obyváček" s pohovkou a polštáři, ty velmi kousaly a škrábaly a smrděly po psovi. Často se setkáváme s faktem, že okrasné deky a polštáře nikdo nepere. Také personál na recepci při Check inu mluvil pouze anglicky a strašně potichu. Jak kdyby se nás bál nebo jsme ho obtěžovali. Vůbec to nedělá dobrý dojem při příjezdu.

- ByMartijn (8/5): Perfecte locatie en goed hotel. Zeker ook als je met vrienden of familie weg bent. - Hotel was een goed hotel op een strategisch goede locatie met veel openbaar vervoer om de hoek. Prima kamers en goede bedden. dit hotel is voor een trip naar Praag echt een aanrader. Ontbijt was redelijk duur maar om de hoek zitten meerdere leuke ontbijt tentjes waar je kunt ontbijten. Francine is aanrader. De hotel bar sluit redelijk vroeg. Dan moet je toch het hotel uit als je nog een drankje wilt gaan doen.

- Maximilian (9/5): Great value and a pleasant stay - Everything was clean and modern. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom left nothing to be desired. We loved the lobby and bar areas, the interior is really cozy and nice, and there's something for everyone. The doors to the rooms are rather thin which means that a lot of noise from the corridors travels into the rooms (and out, I assume). Since the doors also close very loudly with a strong spring mechanism, expect to awake in the mornings when people leave their rooms for breakfast.

I called the reception at Mama Shelter where my dad is staying, and Michael was so helpful. I wanted to send a few treats and a note wishing my dad all the best for tomorrow. - joycie15 (8/5): Brilliant hard working staff - This was the 2nd time in Mama Shelter Prague and although we enjoyed the hotel, it wasn't as pleasant as last year due to the dirt and noise coming from next door. They have demolished the car park and started to build apartments. It was noisy and dirty, a building site. They are also putting a new road down up by the park and it took us ages to get there via alternative pathways amongst the dirt and noise. Building everywhere!! The staff in the hotel are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are fabulous, everything you could possibly want. Fruit, cooked bacon, sausage etc. Buns and cakes, your own juice to make in a juicer! Different breads, good coffee, teas, juices. Plenty of space and beautiful couches, seating, all different. I love the decor, ceilings with poetry written on is wonderful. Free pool table which we used a lot. Only a couple of days were warm enough to sit outside on the terrace , unfortunately. It was Brrrrr some days, 9 degrees. I didn't like the rapping music they play constantly. Why not some peace sometimes, or Bruce Springsteen, the Stones, Mark Knoppfler, decent music??? The bar staff were wonderful and attentive, especially Sandra. I liked the cocktails. Our room was adequate, shower small, beds comfortable. Air con not working but they sent someone up to fix it and an explanation about it being unusually cold. A radiator was brought up the 2nd day and free drinks issued. Yes I would recommend this hotel but not just now until building work has been finished 😀

- Kateryna (9/5): Amazing for young travelers! Definitely will come back. - The staff in the restaurant was amazing! Two ladies were extremely attentive and pleasant to us. Food was great as well. I highly recommend trying their pizza😁 Regarding the room. It was clean and quite spacious. The only thing that bothered us a bit is the construction next to the hotel but still it didn’t make our stay worse. The hotel has great location especially if you’re travelling for a concert in the Hala Sportovni. It’s close to the city centre too 😉

- Tommaso (9/5): - The hotel is very modern and pop, with a huge amount of small details that make it staying there full of surprises. It is clear that the staff invested a lot of time (and had a lot of fun) in personalising the hotel. The location is also excellent, in a vibrant neighbourhood, with plenty of cafes and restaurants, and several tram lines connecting to the city centre. Not a complaint, but something to keep in mind: our room was at the 8th floor, facing East. So, even with the curtains closed, there was some light in the room from very early in the morning.

- Mustafa Serkan (9/5): Very good! - The room was equipped with enough facilities on the simpl side. The atmosphere, lobby, restaurants there was a very good vibe and it exceeded my expectations. A coffee machine in the room would be nice as we had to go to the hotel bar every morning and grab take away coffee to drink in the room.
