They first gave us a room near the reception area which was really uncomfortable but they agreed to move us to a room in the upper floors. We were requested to leave the key in the reception every time we went out of the hotel (not a card, an actual key)
- Aicha (8/5): Ein wunderschönes Hotel in einer super Gegend! - Ich möchte mich für das herausragende Zimmer bedanken, die netten und sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter insbesondere Soumaya, die wirklich auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen ist und uns einen schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht hat. -Das Zimmer hat gut gerochen, war groß genug und hatte einen super schönen Balkon mit einer wahnsinnig schönen Kulisse -Das Zimmer war sehr sauber -die Mitarbeiter zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich -24h war die Rezeption besetzt und egal zu welcher Uhrzzeit waren alle freundlich -Bäcker, Cafés und Supermarkt waren fussläufig erreichbar -es gab einen tollen Markt um die Ecke am Sonntag -das Badezimmer war groß und mit Luxus-Pflegeartikeln und einem guten Föhn ausgestattet -das Bett war super groß und der Fernseher auch -das Balkon war geräumig und man konnte morgens die Sonne aufgehen sehen Alles in einem war es wiedermal ein schöner Aufenthalt - ich danke euch sehr! Wir sind nicht das erste Mal in diesem Hotel, jedoch das erste Mal seitdem das Hotel von jemand neuem aufgekauft worden ist. Dabei sind uns einpaar Dinge aufgefallen, die wir nicht gut fanden: - im Bad gab es nur Seife und keine Flüssigseife. Die Seife ist sehr unpraktisch wenn man sich diese zu zweit teilt. - Man konnte in der Badewanne den Duschkopf nicht aufhängen sodass ein abduschen nicht möglich war -der Fernseher hatte nur 3 deutsche TV-Sender und weder YouTube/Netflix noch sonstwas ging. -das Internet war nicht wirklich stabil

The room was overall comfortable. The room could use some more structured space to hang clothes and/or travel appliances.

- Lisa (8/5): Mycket fint och prisvärt hotell - Lugnt och tryggt område med bra läge, det gick att promenera till city. Fint hus och hotellrum - älskade balkongen, väldigt parisiskt. Man gick in i sovrummet genom badrummet vilket var lite intressant, men inget som störde oss direkt eftersom det gick att stänga kring själva toaletten, blev dock ganska trångt. Fanns också dörr mellan sovrummet och badrummet.

- Julie-Anna (5/5): Pretty hotel, but the ground floor room and noisy inconsiderate staff let it down - It is in a good location with two metro stations within less than 10 minutes walking distance, a supermarket round corner under 5 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants and bars on the main boulevard, which is also only less than 10 minutes walk away. It is a short distance from Gare du Nord - 10 minute uber or a slightly longer journey on the metro - very handy if you use the Eurostar. The decor is very pretty, especially given the price point. The room I was in was acceptably sized for one person, and there are plenty of pillows and power outlets. After check-out, if you have a few hours to kill before departure and don't want to drag your luggage around they can look after your bags. Latest check-out time is 12:00 (midday) which is on the generous side of normal. I had the ground floor room, which is <5 metres from the concierge desk. This might not have been an issue except for the fact that the concierge had a very loud phone call with someone on loudspeaker for the entire night. I got back in just after midnight. I waited to see if it would stop but he didn't so eventually I had to come out and ask him to be quiet (approximately 00:40-01:30am - I did not check the time.) At around 06:30am - I woke up as he had got louder again, and so I had to speak to him a second time. He tried to quibble with me at first, saying he "didn't say anything about my music!" (By the way, this means there is no privacy in that room - the concierge will hear everything you do!) There is a another sliding door just after the main room door, which he kept urging me to close it despite me saying I already had and the noise was still coming through anyway. He eventually apologised and quietened down again, but I could not get back to sleep. I was exhausted and it affected my trip as I was only in Paris for one night and wanted to be up and out bright and early but was too tired. It's a shame, as I had an otherwise pleasant enough stay and I think the room is decent value. This hotel is promoted as soundproof and quiet, but all of this says otherwise. I must note that the room is touted as accessible but it is not; the door isn't the easiest to open, and there is a column partially blocking its path, so if you are a wheelchair user I imagine you will have a hard time. That said, the shower is actually a wet room, and there is a handrail by the toilet which is good. Final and perhaps nitpicky observation - the sink does not drain, and the basin is shallow so it doesn't take much to become a nuisance when e.g. brushing your teeth or washing your face. I say this because it's not what you'd expect from a 4* hotel, but it makes more sense when you ignore the stars and remember the price.

It is clean and the day-time front desk staff is nice and helpful. The hotel provides only one key for the room, which is not practical when two people plan to come back at different times. Although the room looked clean, the housekeeping was inconsistent: sometimes forgetting to refill the shower gel bottle, forgetting to put a pillow case on the pillow, putting towels only for one person, coming back at 6:00 p.m. and entering the room while the sign Do Not Disturb was up…

Anche l' illuminazione della stanza. Lo scarico del lavandino del bagno era ostruito. Non si percepiva un sistema di areazione nel bagno.

- Colin (10/5): - The soundproofing in the room was excellent. Zero street noise, and no noise from other rooms made it in during the night. The room is well appointed with thoughtful touches like convenient plugs and bedside tables on both sides of the bed. The shower worked well, was spacious enough to turn around in, and there was plenty of hot water. The lobby was inviting and had adequate room to relax in with a friend or do a bit of work on a laptop. I can't comment on the breakfast, since I opted not to have it. There is an excellent Boulangerie-Patisserie at the end of the block where I chose to eat each morning instead. Staff were kind and professional. I stay in Paris several times a year, and this definitely was more comfortable than many other hotels I've stayed in at a comparable price.

Easy to get to and easily accessible this quaint little hotel is a not too expensive way to stay in Paris. The rooms are pretty if not slightly small but I can’t fault the quality all round. An issue with a dripping shower and a short WiFi outage aside I’d happily stay here again.

Une chambre indigne d’un 4 étoiles, très petite, la salle de bain encore plus petite…, difficile de prendre une douche correctement.

- kai cheung (2/5): Never stay again - Nothing Staff is very unfriendly and they are mixed up the booking. When l’m checking in, it is no room available. They are put me into the staff room. It is very unprofessional and never stay there again

- Evert (8/5): - Locatie is dicht bij het centrum! 5 minuutjes lopen en meer dan genoeg terrasjes en winkeltjes. Temperatuur op de kamer. Was erg warm. Zelf instellen gaat beperkt. Kan wel contact opnemen met receptie hiervoor.

- Joanna (7/5): Trångt men centralt! - Området var helt perfekt, nära till allt och bra kommunikationer. Bra frukost och ett stort plus att det ingick! Betalade över 2000 SEK/natt för det minsta hotellrum jag sett. Man fick backa in på toaletten… tror man kan få mycket bättre för det priset!

- May (10/5): Lovely small hotel , quiet but accessible to main metro stations and shops of all sorts; good breakfast amd the best cro - So cute and comfortable small Parisian hotel. Staff was so thoughtful and accommodating.

- Tiffany (4/5): If you don't like noise don't stay here. - The location was great. The hotel I checked in was not the one I stayed in, you have to cross the road to a different building altogether. The walls were paper thin, I could when my neighbour's phone got a message. The noise from the slamming lift doors was very loud and audible in the room, and I was lucky that my room was right next to the lift. The room didn't feel clean and was well run down. The towels were rather thing from I assume the age.

Parti comuni da hotel 2 stelle.

The front desk staff was lovely and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The showers and bathrooms were terrific! A very convenient location, not far from a metro at all, so made access to the balance of the city easy. The doors were hard to open, and the room key had a huge, heavy keychain, which was a bit of a hassle to carry around during our tours.

- Jenni (9/5): Miniloma Pariisissa hyvällä sijainnilla - Sijainti on erinomainen. Ympärillä on paljon ravintoloita ja metrolle on lyhyt matka. Huone oli siisti, tilava ja sänky hyvä. Kokolattiamatto.

- Tony (5/5): Moyen - Nous avons été obligé de nous plaindre pour obtenir la chambre correspondant au prix que nous avions payé. La réceptionniste a été très compréhensive mais le rachat de l’hôtel Gabriel n’est pas une réussite. Faire deux hôtels en un, la qualité en moins. C’est ce que nous avons ressenti alors que je suis un client fidèle de l’ancien hôtel. Les prix n’ont pas bougé le service est moins bon.

- Paolo (8/5): - La posizione dell'albergo è ottima per chi, come noi, aveva interesse a visitare la città. La metropolitana è a due passi e si è al margine del quartiere di Le Marais. L'albergo è composto da due strutture separate dalla strada: nella nostra c'era la reception (aperta h24) in quella di fronte si faceva la colazione. La nostra struttura è un po' datata anche se la nostra camera è stata riaggiornata di recente (almeno così mi è sembrato). La camera non era grandissima (anche se gli standard parigini sono piuttosto ristretti!!!) ma sufficiente per due persone e dotata delle cose essenziali: TV, frigo; wi-fi. Il bagno (questo di sicuro fresco di rifacimento) non era molto grande ma anche questo completo: buona la doccia. L'hotel non ha servizi aggiuntivi comuni, tipo palestra, spa, ecc. La colazione più che sufficiente, con dolce e salato anche se con una scelta non vasta. Personale gentile. La nostra camera aveva il rivestimento delle pareti di un rosso bordeaux piuttosto scuro che non aiutava la luminosità, malgrado le ampie finestrature. L'illuminazione interna non era il massimo.
