Guest Reviews
- Leanne (8/5): happy customer ! - Only stayed one night but had everything I needed. Room was spacious and clean, bed confortable, nice shower, breakfast good.Decent location as well. Staff friendly and welcoming. No complaints!
- jilly (8/5): Good location - Hotel in good location. Room exceptionally clean. One of the best in the area. Comfortable bed and big towels. Felt safe.
- ronnie (8/5): One nights stay here - We found this hotel in a good location half way between Hammersmith coach station and Shepards Bush tube station, our room was on the third (top) floor so it was a bit of a climb up the stairs, the room was quite compact but clean it was very warm but there was a large fan on the wall that came in handy. The breakfast room in the basement was ideal two very helpful ladies on hand to serve us, in all it was a very pleasant stay.
- Richard (6/5): Good on a budget - Fair price good breakfast friendly staff a bit run down and too many stairs but we were seeing a concert at the Apollo so exellent location for that and half a mile from station so worked well for us just 1 night
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful don’t book - Awful we got to the pearl to be told we weren’t staying there we got walked town the street to a house and given a key and told that’s where we were staying there was a used condom on the floor when we got there
- Dianne (8/5): - awesome bathrooms
- Verified traveler (10/5): Pearl London - after reading reviews was apprehensive about staying at the Pearl London after quick check in, we were shown by the polite man on reception- our room was a twin with a double and single bed, small but adequate ensuite shower room with free toiletries, free wifi and,tv. It was clean and perfect for overnight stay in London. Breakfast was available but we did not eat there so cannot comment on this.
- Tashi (6/5): You get what you pay for in this simple room. - The front reception is bright and welcoming, and although the process for checking in seems a little out dated, the man signing us in was nice. Had issues with my key not working three times, after climbing three flights of stairs (no lift in the building) and apparently it was because I kept the key near my other debit/oyster cards, which I was not told would be an issue at the start, so that was a little frustrating. The room itself is small and simple, but could definitely do with some decoration. The white bed sheets and blankets left little 'comfort' to the look of the room, and the bed was definitely not hotel standard. The bathroom was clean, and basic body wash, soap and shampoo was provided. Breakfast was in a kitchen, where the man who checked us in along with his family made us scrambled eggs and beans on toast (only hot food option). Basic cereals, some croissants and yoghurt was there too, as well as juice and hot drinks. Was definitely hoping for more as for a short couples getaway, particularly the comfort of the bed, but if definitely a 'get what you pay for' situation.
- David (4/5): Travelodge at Hilton price - Hotel Entrance locked on arrival
Small double bed in small room
no air conditioning
four (4) storey building with no lifts or escalator
very noisy
breakfast included but average
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Unfortunately no air conditioning and stayed on a very hot night.
Reception welcoming.
Bed was not as firm as would like.
Overall a nice stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): not comfortable - Bed was so uncomfortable.. Springs were uneven and poking me .. Didn't sleep and had to crack out early .. Was told I couldn't get a refund .. Very unhappy .. Also extremely loud from people above me .. And across from me.. Not a good stay at all .. Dirty pillows and not very clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): furry friend - The fact I shared my room with a mouse says it all.cant rate the breakfast as I left early
- Mark (8/5): Pearl of Wisdom! - Very good value.
- Laura (8/5): - The hotel is small but nice and clean. It's very well located.
- Ross (8/5): Great hotel, shame about the breakfast - Lovely hotel, great location too. the only thing that let it down was a very poor breakfast. Very little choice which was a let down.
Nice comfy room though
- Verified traveler (8/5): Value for money hotel - Stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights with my husband as we were seeing a show at the Hammersmith Apollo and visiting a relative - it was ideally situated for both. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the noise from the main road - our room was at the front of the hotel - and the central heating was quite hot. All in all though, it was really good value for money. We would certainly stay there again.
- Carly (8/5): Good for the price - Have stayed here before and for the price it is the best in the area.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing, romantic getaway or luxurious service as you will not get it! But if you are more interested in exploring the city, need good transport links and a warm, clean place to rest your head for a good price then you can't go wrong.
Breakfast is included and is average. Nice to have something to eat included but don't expect service with a smile or an amazing range of food.
Good for the price but hold back your expectations!
- david (8/5): Good one or 2 night stay - Good Hotel also a very good location.Hotel room was small which is typical of London hotels. It was a good one night stay.Internet was not very good and no parking. But room was modern and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly clean B&B close to Shepherds Bush station - Arrived late in the evening with no problems. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast.
- Ross (8/5): Good option if you are on a budget - A reasonably priced hotel in a good central location. The breakfast included was nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is that the rooms and bed are quite small for two people. However, it is very good for the price and I would certainly consider staying here again, particularly if I was travelling alone.
