I was told i had to buy a bottle A 5 star hotel in the middle of Shanghai should have this facility I had to go twice to reception to be fobbed off I am a solo traveller and all i wanted was a glass of wine, also Noone asked regarding my bags and took the security deposit without telling me the amount i had to see it on my card It was not great I wont be returning

Warren (10/5): Great location and well priced. - Great location. We originally booked two older style rooms but was upgraded to the more modern renovated room. Highly recommend the renovated rooms compared to the older dated style. The fridge wasn’t working in the older style room but they replaced it quickly. This happened on three other hotels we stayed at throughout China on this trip. Would stay here again. Nothing to fault. Actually, the shower drain seems too small for the water flow so you ending up standing in a pool of water. The older style room, we downgraded to a newer smaller room and the shower door design lets the water escape out into the bathroom. Poor design.

CSYVICKY (9/5): - Great and convenient location. On Nanjing pedestrian street, not too far from Peoples Square metro station and still within walking distance to the Bund. Room was clean and comfortable, with partial view of the pedestrian street and the Oriental Pearl tower. Lot of shops and food places nearby. Bottle water was provided everyday during our stay. Good service. We had a minor issue with some lights and electrical outlets, and they fixed it immediately. Furniture and bathroom is a bit old. Wind noise from the windows. Room rate was a little pricey. While no prepayment needed, they charged us the first night before arrival. We didn't realize that until we got there. They said it was common practice with them.

Wieka (8/5): This is an excellent 5 stars stay with all the convenience and excitement of Nanjing rd on your doorstep! The room is sp - The location and comfort is perfect! The staff is always helpful, lifts arrived fast and breakfast selections are excellent. The swimming pool looked a bit different from the photos, and felt a bit dated.
sakeeb yousufji (10/5): - The hospitality at the hotel was truly outstanding, with staff (Ms. Sunny Sang and the concierge staff working daytime) who were warm, attentive, and welcoming. It made the entire stay comfortable and relaxing.
Michelle (10/5): - The crowne plaza is right on Nanking rd, the major shopping area and within easy walking to many attractions including the Bund. The breakfast buffet was excellent with al large variety of choices. The staff were superb , so efficient and friendly.
