From the moment you are met at the airport to arriving at the hotel, the level of service is remarkable. The general manager greeted us and the check in process was easy. Our butler Evan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed every single day. The entire staff was so kind and thoughtful. Too many great team members to remember but Ricardo, Jerome and Anthony on the beach were fantastic. The Cap Shack is our new favorite beach bar and the Spa was over the top. And our special birthday dinner on the beach under the stars will never be forgotten. Thank you Cap Juluca for the best vacation ever!
- Q6474WJmichaeld (8/5): Cap Juluca - Cap Juluca offers a beautiful beach and outstanding rooms. The food at their restaurants was excellent. However, for the premium price, the service was spotty. In most resorts that assign a host or butler to the guest, the host will visit the guest on a daily basis. The visits might be brief but the visits are in person. Our host visited with us only one time during our six day stay. During the other five days, I only received a daily text. In addition, on two separate days, our service at breakfast was mediocre. The waitress failed to come to the table to check if we needed more coffee. In both instances, I got up an retrieved my own coffee. I am certainly capable and willing to get my own coffee, but if I am paying $2500 per night, I would expect superior service.

There’s something truly special about this property — every visit feels relaxing, effortless, and consistently exceptional. The beach at Maundays Bay is simply unmatched: calm turquoise water, perfect white sand, and an atmosphere that feels private and ultra luxurious. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and timeless, and waking up here never gets old. What keeps bringing us back year after year is the level of service. The staff always makes us feel genuinely welcomed and remembered, which creates such a warm and personal experience. The food, the beach service, the peaceful vibe, and the overall elegance of the resort are all done perfectly. Cap Juluca is one of those rare places that truly lives up to its reputation every single time. Already looking forward to our next stay.
- SusanW3964 (2/5): Disappointing - Cap Julucca has is situated on a lovely beach in Anguilla. Unfortunately, despite an infusion of money from Belmond, it still has some issues. There is no AC in the bathrooms and by midday they are very warm. My bath in room 401 had become to delaminate. There are also not enough electrical outlets. The patio furniture is lovely but the table stains easily and there were stains on it. The food was inconsistent and not what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. You should know that the hotel hosts weddings and small conventions which create noise and did take away from my experience. I would not return

We are full time residents of St.Barths, so a trip to another island has to be special. The property with the expert team were highly professional, discreet and ever ready to provide us with advice and services. The cuisine was fresh, delicious with many choices of light and healthy fares. The setting is breathtaking turquoise waters and white sand beaches the epic Anguilla backdrop.. the sound of the waves and birds were such a pleasant touch adding to the ultimate joy of rest and relaxation. The restaurant staff, bartenders, housekeeping, management, and concierge team all went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this property apart. This spa was absolutely phenomenal, and the facilities are first class in every way. Cap Juluca is truly a special place, and we are so grateful for the memories made there during such an important milestone in our lives. We look forward to returning in the future. Breakfast was amazing—I loved the changes and thoughtful adjustments. Lunch at Cap Shack was incredible as always; it’s my #1 spot to eat whenever I’m at the hotel. The team there is truly amazing, and I appreciate them so much—they feel like family! Joann at the beach was wonderful and made sure to look out for me as soon as she found out I was there. Keanu and Delano at the pool are definitely my brothers away from home. A big thank you as well to Yoann and his reservations team for helping us even before we arrived. - 219pete (10/5): Absolutely love Cap Juluca! 10/10! - Cap Juluca is one of the most amazing places to stay in Anguilla. The gorgeous beachfront villas, the five star dining experiences, and the welcoming staff made this an unforgettable trip. Loved to be steps away from the beach, our dedicated chaise lounges and umbrella, and a stocked cooler. The beach staff were super attentive and friendly. Dining at Uchu and Cipriani’s was a highlight-enjoyed some of the most amazing food, definitely don’t miss the guac at Uchu! The spa is always a favorite on any vacation and the Arawak Spa was top notch. The interior was as beautiful as a Parisian boutique with all the Guerlain fragrances. The relaxation area was tropical, private, and stunning. Will definitely be returning to enjoy Cap Juluca again. Highly recommend!

- W6243EBcraigp (4/5): Would not recommend. - This is not a five star resort. The Brando, 4 seasons in Lanai, Castle Hot Springs, and Jumby Bay resorts are five star resorts. Property is tired. Signs of deferred maintenance in many places, easiest seen in places painting should be done. In Restaurant saw ants where there shouldn’t be any. Many staff seemed to be logging time instead of being engaged. Like to have loud cantina music playing in restaurants. Two are right on the water. Would like to carry on a conversation with my wife without having to raise my voice and also be able to hear the waves go by. No one is going to complain the music isn’t loud enough when trying to enjoy a nice meal. Left a message at the desk for the manager, Ian, to call me…never heard from him. Beautiful beach. Would not recommend to anyone.

The spa was great. Tennis was fun (Shawn is a great guy), and the food was great. It is truly wonderful getting to wake up and walk to your own chair on the world’s best beach.

Trust me - I had high expectations for Cap Juluca given its reputation, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to what I would consider a true 5-star standard. The beach is undeniably beautiful—especially when it’s clean and free from seaweed. However, the hotel was extremely slow to clear it, sometimes taking several days, which significantly impacted the experience. Adding to this, behind the beach and the villas there is a large construction area in what appears to be a swampy landscape. It looks quite unpleasant and disrupts the otherwise picturesque setting, making the overall atmosphere feel somewhat artificial. From the moment we arrived, the check-in felt rushed—almost as if the goal was to move guests along as quickly as possible: have a drink, sit briefly, and then go straight to your room. It didn’t feel welcoming or personal. Dining was another major disappointment. During meals, restaurant staff interrupted frequently—sometimes more than 10–15 times—clearing plates before we had finished and repeatedly asking if we were done. At one point, I had to explicitly ask for some peace and quiet just to enjoy the meal. Service felt rushed, not attentive. There were also small but telling details: fresh juice was not offered unless specifically requested, and several items were not listed on the menu even though they were available if you asked. It gave the impression that the hotel was cutting corners wherever possible instead of delivering a seamless luxury experience. Service overall felt inconsistent. Many staff members came across as disengaged and lacking proper training, which is not what you expect at this level. Beach service in particular was very poor—there seemed to be no reliable system for ordering food or drinks. The call buttons rarely worked, and even when service arrived, it felt incomplete and unpolished. Food delivery often took over 45 minutes. Our butler was kind and helpful with restaurant bookings and daily greetings, which we appreciated. However, we were missing clear information about all dining options, including other restaurants on the island—something that would have enhanced the experience. The food itself was, unfortunately, one of the biggest letdowns. Aside from one chicken dish that was enjoyable, most meals were nearly inedible and far from what I would consider 5-star quality. It’s surprising given the many positive reviews—I honestly began to question their authenticity. Having stayed at many top-tier hotels around the world, as well as more modest ones, I feel confident in saying this property does not meet true 5-star standards. It felt more like a 3 to 4-star hotel trying to present itself as luxury. The resort is often described as “the Maldives of the Caribbean,” but in my opinion it lacks soul, culture, and refinement. It feels more like an Instagram-driven destination than a genuinely high-end resort. In summary, it may be suitable for a short stay of 2–4 days, but I would not recommend staying longer. The shortcomings in service, food, and overall authenticity significantly affect the experience.
- jessicalB3541VG (6/5): not a five star - I have stayed at several five-star hotels around the world, but during my stay at Cap Juluca, I truly missed the extra level of service and attention to detail that is expected at this standard. The check-in process was very quick, but not in a positive way – it felt rushed, as if the goal was simply to get it over with rather than to create a welcoming and memorable first impression. We stayed for 10 days, which in hindsight felt far too long – in my opinion, 3–4 days would have been more than enough at this hotel. On several occasions, our room was not cleaned, without any form of compensation offered – such as fruit in the room or another small gesture, which is typically standard at hotels in this category. The minibar also did not meet expectations and lacked several common items. The service in the restaurant felt stressful rather than relaxing. Staff were far too quick to clear plates and glasses while we were still eating, creating the feeling that we were expected to finish quickly and leave, rather than enjoy the meal. Breakfast was exactly the same every day, which became very repetitive during a longer stay. Considering the hotel is located in the West Indies, in such a beautiful setting, I expected much more variety in the buffet. There was also a clear lack of fresh, exotic fruit options such as pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, and similar, which one would normally expect in this region. The à la carte options also did not reflect a five-star standard. Another disappointing detail was that fresh juice was not always served – unless you specifically asked for it, you were sometimes given non-fresh juice. This does not align with five-star expectations and gives the impression of cost-cutting rather than a focus on quality. The water served was filtered, which personally made me feel unwell. When I asked for bottled water, we were charged for it, despite breakfast being included – something that feels unnecessarily cheap for a hotel in this price range. Despite the fact that we can afford to stay at hotels in this category, the pricing felt excessive and unjustified. For example, we asked to have milk delivered to our room and were charged approximately $30 for it. Prices felt inflated simply because they can be, rather than reflecting real value or service. Another example of the lack of five-star service was the daily beach service, where small alcoholic shots were offered. The staff were aware that we do not drink alcohol, yet no non-alcoholic alternative was offered unless we specifically asked for it. This highlights the absence of that extra level of attentiveness and personalization that defines true luxury service. At check-out, there was also a lack of the level of care and service one would expect. No water was offered, no place to sit and relax, and no small farewell gesture such as chocolate or a gift – something we have previously experienced as standard at similar hotels. We also visited Four Seasons one evening and immediately had a completely different impression in terms of service and quality. It made me wish that I had chosen to spend my stay there instead. Additionally, the staff often seemed uninterested and disengaged. It felt as though the focus was more on driving around in buggies than on providing guests with first-class service. Overall, the hotel did not deliver the level of service and quality that one would reasonably expect from a five-star property.

- 504lilianah (10/5): Beautiful hotel on a wonderful beach, excellent service - The hotel is ideally located on a long half-moon crescent of beach and doesn’t leave anything to be desired. Great architecture, good food, four different restaurants, very private and quiet. I would like to point out the quality of the service, which is truly exceptional. Not only were our comfortable, heavy beach beds loaded onto a van and transported to a spot of beach where the ocean was easier to access, but when I left two items behind on leaving, they were shipped by air to St. Barth at no cost. Another five-star hotel we stayed at in the US refused to forward something we had left in the room even though we asked that the cost be debited to our credit card!! The only weakness are the two swimming pools, which are relatively small and shallow and not up to standard.

We have visited several Caribbean islands in the past, but had never been to Anguilla, which was on her Bucket List. I picked Cap Juluca based on the online reviews I had read. What a brilliant idea that was! We arrived 2 days before her birthday and stayed 8 nights total. Everywhere we went on the property before and even days after her big day, the staff celebrated and wished her well. On the evening of her day, the staff helped me pull off a perfect surprise "Dinner Under the Stars". It was magical. Now to the resort itself - it is a wonderful place with a very pleasing aesthetic and immensely relaxing vibe. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and clean. The staff is very caring and attentive. The resort sits at Maundays Bay on the southwest part of the island, and the beach there is absolutely breathtaking. The white buildings on that white, sandy beach contrast beautifully against the stunning turquoise water of the bay. The food at all four restaurants on the resort is exquisite. The view of the bay during the complimentary breakfast is a reason to have breakfast every morning. And I’ll make time to join the staff and other guests for “Savoring” every day at 6 pm. Please visit if you can. You won’t regret it.

The property is beautiful, the beach is truly exceptional, and the service from the staff was consistently warm and welcoming. We always felt safe and well taken care of, and the complimentary water activities like paddleboarding were a great touch that made it easy to enjoy the beach without additional fees. Our room itself was spacious, comfortable, and in a stunning location with gorgeous views. The setting of the resort is truly special and it’s easy to understand why so many people return. The only issue we encountered is related to sound insulation between rooms. Our room had adjoining doors on both sides (which we understand may allow the resort to combine rooms into larger villas). Unfortunately, the doors allowed a surprising amount of sound to pass through. We could clearly hear conversations, alarms, coughing, and other normal room noise from neighboring guests. Overall we had a lovely visit and would absolutely consider returning. The beach, the setting, and the kindness of the staff made it a memorable trip. Addressing the sound insulation between adjoining rooms would elevate the experience even further and better match the otherwise exceptional standard of the resort.

From the moment I arrived, the experience felt effortless. At reception I was welcomed with a cool towel before being escorted to a breezy outdoor patio for a refreshing welcome drink. There I met Ngozi, my dedicated villa host, who would thoughtfully curate each day of my stay. While my luggage and rental car were discreetly sent ahead to my room, Ngozi whisked me away in a golf cart to introduce me to the resort and its stunning surroundings. My home for the week was a beautifully appointed king suite with an oversized balcony overlooking the luminous turquoise sea. The room reflected classic Caribbean elegance—light-filled, refined, and inviting—with luxurious Frette robes, Anguillan-style slippers, and thoughtful touches throughout. Waiting on the desk was a small basket of the most delicious cheese puffs I’ve ever tasted. Each evening, turndown service brought a new surprise tucked inside, a small but delightful ritual I quickly came to anticipate. Ngozi’s attentiveness set the tone for the entire stay. He checked in regularly to confirm dinner reservations, arrange spa appointments, answer questions, and coordinate excursions—always present, yet never intrusive. Life at the beach was equally seamless. Each guest is assigned a chaise lounge for the duration of their stay, eliminating the all-too-common scramble to reserve the best spot in the sand. Every time I arrived, my lounger was already prepared with fresh towels and positioned perfectly for a day of relaxation. Beach service, overseen by Joann, was impeccable. Throughout the day, attentive staff circulated with thoughtful offerings—iced tea, sunscreen, frozen sorbets, spiced nuts, and even Painkiller shooters. One attendant in particular, Eulalie, embodied the warmth and generosity that defines Anguillian hospitality. Tireless, gracious, and genuinely attentive, she made every guest feel welcome and cared for. Dining across the property was exceptional, with menus that thoughtfully accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences. I dined at three of the resort’s four restaurants, but the standout meal of the trip was at Uchu. This Peruvian-inspired gem delivers vibrant, beautifully balanced dishes that were among the most memorable of the entire vacation. The recently opened spa is another highlight—an elegant sanctuary dedicated to relaxation and renewal. My massage experience included additional facial treatments and luxurious skincare products at no extra charge, elevating the experience into something truly indulgent. All of this unfolds along one of the most breathtaking beaches in the Caribbean—powdery white sand meeting impossibly clear turquoise water. By the end of the week, the hardest part was leaving. Cap Juluca offers not just a vacation, but a rare sense of tranquility and care that lingers long after departure. I cannot recommend this extraordinary resort—and its exceptional staff—more highly. I feel fortunate to have experienced it and look forward to returning.
- OrigJZ (10/5): Perfection! - Serenely beautiful property. Gorgeous pristine wide white sand beach, great rooms, great food, seriously inventive bar talents. Lots of walking to and from, to stay fit, just getting to meals and gym… or using hotel bikes (freely available to ail). The huge breakfast buffet is amazing, such variety! All the food quality was so good, no reason to explore the rest of the island. We had more windy weather than would have been ideal, but no matter. The Shack, a seemingly authentic rustic island hideaway joint (w some legendary festive drinks i can’t quite recall), was a casual bar /lunch place at the far end of the beach. It was the perfect contrast to the full service restaurants. The 6 pm “Sabrage” where guests slice off the glass top off a champagne bottle w a sword was fun, and the complimentary champs quickly made fellow guests into friends. All the staff were well trained, not grumpy nor too friendly, and incredibly anticipatory for our needs. A discreet button you can push brings full service to your beach chaise! The impactful flavors of the Peruvian restaurant were a real surprise, we went there twice in 6 nights.

The guys all worked so hard and anticipated anything we could have possibly needed. The restaurants were all very good and the service was excellent. We had the most relaxing stay ever and will definitely be back.

The place is so unique, with our large, well furnished room steps away from a wonderful patio looking at to the beach and ocean, and literally 50 steps away from the beach, where our private lounge chairs and umbrellas awaited us. The spa was amazing, the restaurants were terrific, in particular Pimm's, and the breakfast - which is included, whether off the menu or buffet - was great. Our personal Concierge, Evan, was amazing and attentive to every need, question and requested recommendation. The Beverage Manager, Chris, was the lifeblood of the resort, always with a smile and a laugh. The champagne popping and toast at evening in the lobby at 6 pm was a must for us almost every day. He was such a pleasure. We loved it, and can't wait to go back next February.

One day, we rented a Moke to check out some of the other beaches on the island, only to realize that our beach was the most pristine. Restaurants on property were a real treat and the buffet breakfast was delicious. While the spa facilities were underwhelming, the treatments themselves were phenomenal. The staff was very friendly everywhere we went. Our butler, Santo, really made our trip extra special. He made sure we knew he was ready to assist when needed and truly went above and beyond when we needed him most. We certainly plan to return to this property in the future. Deandre, Our Villa Host Deandre was the perfect balance of attentive and unobtrusive. He checked in daily in the most natural way, appearing at the pool, beach, or breakfast with a friendly greeting and thoughtful recommendations. He didn’t just suggest restaurants. He’d tell us specific dishes to order. When our scheduled boat excursion hit a snag, he seamlessly rearranged everything and secured us a better boat for another day. Marisse, Events Coordinator Marisse made my proposal planning effortless and stress-free. She sent videos of potential locations, coordinated with decor and photography vendors, and arranged our beachside celebration dinner. Her attention to detail ensured everything unfolded perfectly. Later during our stay, she left us a hand written note with chocolate covered strawberries. Miguel, Server Miguel, our server for our beachside dinner, was wonderful. He was genuinely friendly and took beautiful photos of us during the meal. Days later, we randomly encountered him elsewhere on property, and he insisted on taking more photos of us. Sheriffa, Front Desk Sheriffa exemplified the resort’s hospitality. When my fiancée got a small cut, Sheriffa personally provided first aid. She also handled our checkout process smoothly, resolved a small hiccup on the bill, and offered to photograph us when she saw us later. Housekeeping & Other Staff The housekeeping team was superb. They were prompt, accommodating to our schedule, and left sweet handwritten notes that added personal touches to each day. On the proposal day, they left a pretty towel swan with rose petals. Also they thoughtfully organized our bathroom items, which we really appreciated. Throughout our stay, we had lovely interactions with pool attendants, spa staff, and beach service team members. Everyone genuinely seemed happy to be there and to help us enjoy our time. Accommodations Our accommodations were stunning. Beautifully designed with classic elegance that felt both luxurious and authentic. The bath products were excellent, and the room was stocked with everything you might need: shoe horn, bug spray, umbrellas, and sparkling water. Beach chairs sat just steps from our door with cold water readily available and a simple button to get beachside service. Property & Atmosphere The property itself struck the perfect balance. It felt quiet and intimate, even though we saw and chatted with other guests throughout our stay. The layout made it easy to walk or bike anywhere on the resort, yet each area felt surprisingly secluded. You could enjoy breakfast with other couples, then walk to your own private slice of beach minutes later and feel completely alone. The views throughout the property are breathtaking: from our room, the event pavilion, breakfast terrace, and the stunning infinity pool by the spa. Dining The included breakfast offered an impressive selection balancing indulgent and healthy options. We mostly dined off-property at Deandre’s recommendations, but our one room service experience was excellent. Prompt, friendly service with menu options from the on-site restaurants. Activities Our snorkeling boat excursion departed directly from the hotel beach, which was incredibly convenient. Overall Experience From the welcome cocktail and cold towel upon arrival to the pre-vacation itinerary and easy WhatsApp communication, Cap Juluca created a seamless, relaxing experience. The staff’s genuine warmth, the resort’s stunning beauty, and the countless thoughtful details combined to give us a magical experience we’ll cherish forever.

- 66chadm (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - We stayed at Cap Juluca over Thanksgiving week. It far exceeded our expectations, which were high. It is by far the nicest beach I’ve ever visited. Having your own chairs assigned for the entire trip relieves so much of the stress of having rush down early in the morning to reserve seats. Beach service was top notch. Our villa host, Ngozi, was amazing and incredibly helpful throughout the trip. The recently updated spa was just perfect. The only downside is that it very spread out. This is impossible to avoid since every room is a beach front room, so it is worth it. If possible, try to secure a lower number villa. These are closer to the restaurants and lobby and the beach is a bit better in that area. Also, consider trying to secure a golf cart for your stay. These come for free with one bedroom suites and above and can be rented for a fee (subject to availability) for other rooms.

The restaurants at Cap Juluca were fabulous. Every meal was memorable, highlighting the fresh fish caught by local fishermen. - 930brendan (10/5): Cap Jaluca Nov. 2025 - First time staying in Anguilla AND a Belmond Hotel, so it was between you and the Four Seasons; I am so glad that I picked Cap Jaluca. What swayed my decision was that you all were saying Ocean Front Rooms whereas Four Seasons was not guaranteeing it. When I checked into the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to be told that we were being complimentary upgraded to a junior suite, wow. It was so gorgeous! The entire experience was amazing, from the butler to the cute magic buttom while sitting on the beach to the complimentary snacks/drink samples at the beach was all over the top! To top it all off, a cute beach bag and a sample perfume to take home to remember the resort was wonderful as well!! The over the top experience was being able to get soup from Room Service since I wasn't feeling well, Henry helped in securing some for me since I wasn't feeling well the first night and it wasn't on the Room Service menu!

It truly felt like you were stepping into an episode of white lotus as the entire staff greeted you upon arrival and did an amazing sendoff with some of the best cookies i've ever eaten. During our stay, our villa host Caldon took care of every detail and need that we may have had. The restaurants on site are fantastic, but you cannot beat some of the restaurants close by as well! Straw Hat, Da'Vita, Dolce, etc were all amazing and a very quick cab ride to and from. We felt pampered and truly treated as guests not just in the hotel, but on the entire island. It's a fantastic culture and we cannot wait to return!

- Samdyredm1 (10/5): Best beach and spa on the island - Loved cap Juluca. It is truly the best beach on the island. Warm calm water with incredible sand. Loved having our dedicated beach chairs. The room was very nice. Well kept. Bright and stylish. I wished there was an outdoor shower. Otherwise it was very nice. So close to the water and screens on the windows so we kept the windows open all night. Heaven. Our villa host sonni was fantastic. He went above and beyond every day to make our stay special. Big shout out to him. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. We walked down the beach every morning and evening. Peaceful. Quiet. Perfect Spa was by far the best on the island. Very lovely. Great staff. Paradise.

Here is why we loved our stay: 1. The staff: Every single staff member from the General Manager, to folks working on the grounds, were incredibly warm, kind and welcoming. It felt like every single employee knew our names every time we met someone new. The wait staff at the restaurants were superb. Thank you to all the Cap Jaluca employees who made our stay so amazing. The beach staff was also amazing. Their job isn't easy and they made our time at the beach 10/10. Thank you, Jessica and team who helped our section!! 2. The property: WOW. The rooms were spectacular, spacious and provided an amazing view of the Ocean and of Sint Maarten. Our villa was in the middle of the beach so we had a lovely spot. The lobby is amazing and absolutely beautiful. The beach. No words.. The pictures do not do its beauty justice. We also loved that beach chairs are auto assigned, so you're not having to wake up early. You can also get around on bike, or the staff will come pick you up in a golf cart. So friendly. 3. The spa: incredible experience using the facilities (Sauna, Outdoor cold plunge and hot tub). Amazing massage and treatment. 4. Vibes: I normally have a hard time disconnecting and at Cap Jaluca it was effortless. The vibes were immaculate, chill and you felt like you had the place to yourself at times with how big the beach is. It was also quiet, relaxed and laid back. 5. The Food: The breakfast was incredible. We ate at Uchu and Cipps. Superb. Make sure you get the fried rice dish at Uchu. Shout out to Alexander at Uchu for accommodating for my Wife and I. We also loved lunch at The Cap Shack! Anyway, thank you so much to the team at Cap Jaluca for making our week 10/10. We will never forget this trip.

I struggle to find any additional words to express our appreciation to Belmond, The Management, and all the Julucans' at this exceptional resort, and cannot wait for our return again next year!!

This is our third time back and the hotel, the beach, it’s ambience and everything related to our stay never ceases to amaze me. We again stayed in the Casablanca Villa (Casita Suite) and it was just wonderful. The new spa is beyond fantastic. Everyone at the hotel treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism. The hotel did lose some of its focus on some minor details but nothing that had any effect on our stay. We did miss being able to get crawfish at the food truck but we understand why it’s not there anymore. We are already planning our next trip.

We went to spend a relaxing beach vacation and came back ready to book our next stay already. Everything from the friendly personalized welcome, to the easy beach front check-in with a complimentary cold drink in hand, to the very friendly personal room concierge was the beginning of a truly magical stay where we felt pampered the entire time. The rooms are amazing with a huge terrace overlooking the most beautiful beach we have ever seen (and we have seen many all over the world), lovely large comfortable beds, an absolutely fabulous bathroom with an indoor/outdoor shower, large tub and its own outdoor terrace, and all of the best amenities you could ever wish for. The restaurants are second to none with the most beautiful views of the aqua water, powder sand white beach and stingrays, fish and birds to entertain everyone. We ate at CIP’S and Pimm’s for dinner and both were first class in terms of food, service and ambience. The tagliolini au gratin, lobster bisque, pear & walnut salad, and fresh mahi mahi were all mouth watering. And the moonlight walks on the beach back to our room after dinners were magical. Cap Shack at the far end of the beach is a fun lunch spot with a great local menu- the Johnny cakes and ceviche are the perfect afternoon snack. The beach chaise and large umbrellas are a wonderful way to spend the day relaxing with each having an ice and water filled large yeti cooler at your disposal. We rode turquoise bikes all through the property every day which is a great way to get to the fabulous breakfast that is included and stays open until 10:30 am, so no need to wake up early and rush to breakfast. Everything about Cap Jaluca is top absolutely notch from the very friendly staff to the beautiful architecture inside and out, to the quiet, peaceful ambiance that makes you relax like never before. We have traveled the world to many beautiful beach resorts including the Seychelles, Australia, the Maldives and all through the Caribbean, and Cap Jaluca tops them all in our opinion! We are already counting the days to return for another relaxing stay in paradise!

Our host, Maury, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable—he is truly the best host! Breakfast was good, and Jacqueline made us feel cared for. She always checked in on us, and her kindness meant a lot. Lunch at Cap Shack was amazing—the team there is outstanding! I truly appreciate them all; they felt like family. And the music they played made it even harder to leave—it created such a perfect vibe. Lunch and poolside snacks at Uchu were fantastic, too. Special thanks to Joann at the beach, who made sure we had everything we needed, and to Keanu and Delano at the pool—they made sure our pool time was well spent. They honestly feel like brothers away from home. My son especially enjoyed the burgers from Room Service—he said they were amazing every time! A big thank you to Yoann and the reservations team for their help even before we arrived. They were so supportive and accommodating. Honestly, the entire staff at Cap Juluca was amazing. Included breakfast is excellent allong with the view from Cips.Restaurants to recommend include Sandbar (great small plates) and Veya. For your transportation if not renting a car, I would strongly recommend contacting Alistair Taxi. Alistair is reliable, funny, a great driver and has very comfortable vehicles.Call him to arrange your transport needs.

- 207avrilg (6/5): A Beautiful Setting Undermined by One Disappointing Interaction - I recently visited Pimms Restaurants at the hotel with my cousin, hoping to enjoy the stunning views and get a bit of work done before dinner. Although the restaurant wasn’t open yet, the staff graciously allowed me to sit at a table while they prepared for service. I made it clear that I planned to order both dinner and drinks once they officially opened, and they assured me that was no problem. About 30 minutes later, a staff member named Gloria abruptly approached and told me I had to leave the table because it had been sanitized for dinner. She claimed we were “contaminating the space.” I politely explained that I planned to dine at that very table, but she showed no interest in resolving the situation or offering an alternative. There was no offer of a reservation, no suggestion of another table just a blunt dismissal, as if she wanted me off the property entirely. Fortunately, Monica caught me after the interaction and did an amazing job turning the experience around. Her professionalism and warmth truly stood out, and she embodied the kind of hospitality I’ve always associated with this island. The setting at Pimms is undeniably beautiful, and Monica deserves recognition for her grace under pressure but the interaction with Gloria left a sour note on what should have been a lovely evening.

The staff go above and beyond (and these are only the ones I remember by name because they are all great. Gene at the front, my villa host Deandre, beach attendants, Ricardo, Jim and Rene. Just to name a few. The rooms are amazing. I had a ground floor unit so you can just walk out from your villla. The breakfast included was plentiful. I didn’t use the spa services but looked magical. The infinity edge pool was gorgeous, although I didn’t stay at the pool. The beach service was spot on with drinks and food brought to your chair, along with daily iced tea and sorbet. I will be back next year.

The staff is caring and attentive, the cuisine is better than ever at Cip's and Pimms and the revamped menu at Uchu is wonderful. The resort villas all sit directly on the spectacular beach (you won't find that anywhere else) and the rooms are immaculate and comfortable. If you need anything, just ask. Our concierge, Maury, was phenomenal. Will go again next year for a week, once again.
- mooneysox (8/5): Good, but not worth the price. - The service is impeccable, the room is very nice and the grounds are well kept. The food was very good as was the service in the restaurants. The beach restaurant was just OK with uninterested service and they gave us what seems to have been a microwaved frozen fish patty, pretty surprising. Overall a nice place, but definitely not worth the money. Every day party boats from St. Maarten would pull up into the cove blaring music and letting off college age kids, who would hang on the beach. Seemed to be encouraged by the hotel. Anguilla was pretty scruffy outside the hotel grounds, and the off-site restaurants were good, but not much else on that part of the island. One bummer, our neighbor regularly smoked on his balcony, with the smoke filling ours. Next time we'll go somewhere else for half the price.
