• Giorgio (5/5): It was OK but wouldn't stay again unless I had no other option. - Prior to arriving it proved impossible to speak to anyone at the hotel as not even the 24 hour contact number was answered. Following a call to booking.com a dialogue was eventually established via the app. The room was OK though it was certainly not luxury as advertised. The windows overlooking the busy road were not double-glazed, so we needed to sleep with earplugs. A positive aspect was the presence of a small fridge. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The room was clean but some areas were not, such as the cupboard doors beside the toilet. The wardrobe was tiny - we had to remove an ironing board from it so as to hang clothes. Beware of the stairs up and down the floors, as they are steep and each step is narrow. There were no glasses, not even plastic beakers. We had to drink everything out of 2 ceramic mugs! A number of coffee capsules were provided for the somewhat dilapidated coffee percolator, but not for our last day. So we will not return unless a better alternative is not available. Very hard with 2 big suitcases . Room is very small and bed very little and short .

• Susanne (6/5): Für eine Nacht und mit wenig Gepäck sehr gut geeignet. - Sehr gute Lage mit jeder Menge netter Restaurants rundherum. Unser Zimmer war im dritten Stock und nach hinten raus und damit war es wirklich ruhig und sehr sauber war es auch. Das Badezimmer war zwar nur mit einer sehr dünnen Schiebetür abgetrennt – aber die Dusche war relativ geräumig. Das Bett fanden wir ziemlich bequem. Echt enge und steile Treppe und enger Vorraum/Flur Flur. Mit Rucksack und Koffer ist das echt schwierig… um zum Beispiel nach der Haustüröffnung die Chipkarte aus dem Schlüsseltresor zu nehmen, mussten die zweite Person und die Koffer draußen stehen bleiben - der Vorraum ist sonst zu eng. Bei viel Gepäck kann ich das Hotel eher nicht empfehlen. Gleiches gilt bei Mobilitäts-Einschränkungen.. Es gibt im Zimmer kaum Platz für den Koffer, und es gibt auch keinen Schrank.

Ideal para una persona o una pareja de fin de semana en Londres. Las ventanas son antiguas y se oía el tráfico de la calle, aunque no era muy intenso.

• Joanna (7/5): Great location and very good value for money for a short stay! - The location was lovely, although, the address as given is Russell Square but this hotel is a good ten minutes neater to the station than Russell Square. The local cafes and bars are lovely and I would reccomend booking a meal there rather than seek out the CoalDrop Yard The stairway is steep and narrow, making it quite difficult to reach our third floor room. The room itself was also small.

• Brandy-Lee (1/5): Je ne recommande pas. - Arrivé autonome, 2 portes sécurisé par 2 technique d’entrée. Tres sécurisé Les murs de la chambre sont extrêmement fins : on entend tout ce que font les occupants des autres chambres. J’ai également été installé(e) au 3ᵉ étage sans ascenseur, ce qui n’était pas indiqué. De plus, un nid d’oiseaux se trouvait juste devant ma seule fenêtre, avec du bruit constant jour et nuit. Malgré mes signalements, le réceptionniste n’a pas pris mon problème au sérieux et a refusé de me changer de chambre pour la seconde nuit. Leur attitude donne clairement le sentiment qu’ils se moquent de moi.

• SALEM (8/5): Séjour événement sportif de rugby au stadium des Spurs - La situation de l'hôtel est parfait pour les personnes arrivant à Londres avec l'Eurostar. L'hôtel est à 10 mn à peine à pied. Très bien situé avec des restaurants autour. Belle chambre très bon rapport qualité-prix, propre, grand lit très confortable. Salle de bain propre et grands douche. Chambre chauffée à mon arrivée. Hôtel calme. Personnel de l'accueil très accueillant. Pas de double vitrage (dommage) car sinon tout était parfait.

The bed was comfortable. Some tiles in the shower need to be secured and new grout. If you are a light sleeper the trains can be noisy.

Les comenté que una de las huéspedes había tenido una lesión en la rodilla y nos pusieron una habitación en la planta baja (no hay ascensor). Tuvimos suerte y algo más de comodidad porque nos pusieron una habitación más grande. No es el hotel más sucio del mundo, pero tampoco estaba limpio. Había zonas que llevaban mucho tiempo sin limpiarse: el toallero lleno de manchas, el lavabo, el mando de la tv estaba pegajoso, el mobiliario estaba muy desmejorado… El colchón era incómodo, difícil para personas de sueño ligero. Un día intentamos llamar al número de contacto y no hubo manera

The pics are not I paid for a “luxurious “ double bed room, the only real thing there was the double bed. Narrow steep stairs, dirty , I wanted to have a coffee , you can see the pics . The fridge in the room is so noisy that’s adds to the outside and inside noise, hard to have a decent night.

Pictures make the room look very luxurious, and give a misconception of size. Messaged the number provided to organise dropping bag, but contact never replied. It was very awkward getting to the safety boxes where our key was kept, as it was behind the front door. The decor was a bit tired, but clean enough.

• Elisa (1/5): - Die lage ist wirklich gut Also ich würde es nimand weiterempfehlen. Die bilder sind extrem bearbeitet und verfälscht! Die lage ist wirklich top aber das wars auch schon! Es hatte blutspuren beim lichtschalter, flecken auf den kissen+betten. Die tassen die zur verfügung gestellt wurden waren gebraucht, da es kaffespuren drin hatte. Das badezimmer extrem klein und die dusche sollte man meiden. Es riecht extrem schlecht und bei der lavaboschublade musste man mit tetanusimpfung geschützt sein da es voll verrostet war!. Die fenster konnte man nicht richtig schliessen somit könntet ihr euch vorstellem wie kalt und laut es im zimmer war. Das war eim P*** Motel so sah es auf jedenfall aus. Also von 3 sternen hat es garnichts es hätte vileicht 0.5 sterne verdient für die Lage! Aber das hotel sollte man auf booking.com entfernen!

Puedes llegar andando en 30 minutos a algunos de los sitios más representativos de la ciudad La habitación es muy pequeña y vieja, muebles poco cuidados, limpieza muy limitada, el personal no habla inglés. El servicio guarda equipajes es un pasillo sin vigilancia alguna. Muy caro para lo que ofrece.
• Nicola (9/5): Great location and excellent value for money - It was a straight forward process to check in and the location was perfect. It was also excellent value for money for the location. We will be back again and hopefully we will be able to book the room we stayed in as it was perfect There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing I would comment on was that we arrived early and didn’t know where to store our luggage before actual check in. We returned a little later on and the guy on reception took them from us to pop in our room for when we came back later on that day ☺️

Clear explanation of access, though would add that key safes are behind the open door, which needs partial closure to access them. Would have preferred more milk and tea bags. Although a selection of drink options, 4 pots milk limited it to drinks each. Narrow stairs with no secondary fire exit obvious.
