The hotel is very close to bus and subway, and the area is very walkable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and I will stay there again upon my return to Paris.

• Emily (10/5): - We love Hotel Monge! What a jewel of a hotel in the Latin Quarter! The decor was gorgeous, the beds were beyond comfortable, the rain showers were piping hot with fabulous water pressure and copious L’Occitane products, the AC was fabulous on our steamy summer days, the constant supply of coffee and fruit water was lovely, and the honor bar with chilled Veuve Cliquot in the evening was a lovely touch of luxury, but what really sets this property apart is the staff. We arrived jet lagged with a suddenly sick kid in tow and they could not have been more gracious whisking us into our spotless room two hours before check in so that she could rest and offering to personally escort me to the pharmacy down the street to help me translate her symptoms so I could get her some relief. They patiently let me practice my French and effortlessly jumped in with English when they sensed I was tired and needed a break. All of their recommendations and guidance were wonderful. I can’t wait to go back! So many wonderful boulangeries within a quick walk, the Metro is literally around the corner, and don’t miss the wonderful candy store down the street Le Bonbon au Palais. Their confections are to die for especially the new flower gelées.

Very clean and modern interiors. Room was a bit tight for 3 people, we only stayed one night so it was fine for us. Would recommend for sure.

Everything was clean, comfortable and so cute. The beds were comfy and the showers were awesome - so welcomed after a long flight. The dining area is nice and the honesty bar was a great way to end the evening. We had breakfast on the last day and it was very good as well.
• Colleen (8/5): - Overall, a great stay, the staff were very attentive and worked hard to make the stay a very pleasant one. It's close to the metro, but there isn't a lot in the area otherwise. One hiccup with our minibar but staff worked to fix that quickly and seemed embarrassed about it. Someone had drank part of an orange juice and it was left in the mini-fridge when we arrived. Great atmosphere and pleasant staff. I would stay again.
• Paul (10/5): - This is an excellent hotel! The rooms were beautiful and meticulously clean. The check in process was so cordial and relaxing. The location is great. The best part of Hotel Monge is the staff, so helpful and friendly. When my wife left her scarf at a nearby restaurant, the front desk called the restaurant and sent us an email after they confirmed it was there so we could pick it up. I would not hesitate to stay here again, it made our trip to Paris even better!
• Rachel (10/5): Fantastic find - Small room, but beautiful and comfortable. Very nice shower. Everyone so great from beginning to end. Night manager very proactive. We arrived late and were headed to a restaurant that said it was open. He asked to check, and it was closed. He found us another and it was very good. Breakfast there extra fee, but not too expensive, and very good. Free coffee machine with cappuccino, etc. Def will stay here again on my next trip to Paris!

Centrally located in the Latin Quarter, this boutique hotel is luxurious, welcoming and beautiful and such a great value! The staff was amazing and were happy to practice French with my daughter. The bed was perfect, and robes and slippers in our room. The amenities included L'Occitane products and coffee, tea, water and juice both in the lobby and in our room. Thank you, Hotel Monge, for making our two days in Paris absolutely perfect!

I am an english speaking person and this was my first time to Paris and to France. The front desk staff specifically Emily who checked me in and Salome who assisted me with very detailed walking directions on how to navigate Paris were both extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and personable and they were fluent in english which made it super easy for me to converse with them. The room was much more spacious than I anticipated, and even though we faced the street we could not hear a sound! They had a sauna downstairs that we used twice and it was such a relaxing oasis. Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating whenever we had a question. The location is so close to several metro stations though the walk to main attractions is pleasant as well.

• Edward (10/5): Excellent Hotel - An excellent hotel in a lovely part of Paris. Fifteen minute walk to Ile St. Louis and to Notre Dame on Ile de la Cite. The room was extremely well thought out and executed. Bedding very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The staff really sets this place apart- very knowledgeable and always available and happy to help with any arrangements you might need. Make sure you take advantage of the steam room and shower after a long day. Just a great place. We’ll definitely be back next time in Paris. Room tip: Get a room on the street side- much quieter if there is a concert to the rear of the property.

We had a wonderful room with a small balcony on the sixth floor of the hotel with views over the Norte Dame. Service was exceptional as was all the “little extras” such as the free tea and coffee all day, the Loccataine bath products and the wonderful beds and bedding. Our favourite hotel in Paris so far, we will stay again!
• M (8/5): - Excellent location . Made res with Expedia which INCLUDED breakfast. Receptionist staff said that was NOT the case. So I don’t k ow where the mistake was . With Expedia or with the hotel?
• Jean (10/5): - Beautifully maintained and decorated boutique hotel in a pleasant Latin quarter area. Nice complimentary amenities like coffee-tea machine in lounge, Evian and Perrier in room, option of a steam bath session. Space isn’t huge but that’s usual in Paris. Room was very quiet and comfortable with a view of the Roman arena, staff all pleasant and helpful. Only minor issue…heat didn’t seem robust in the room but not enough to complain about it further. Location is close to many restaurants on rue mouffetard and also easy walk to some sights like notre dame, and several metro lines.

Cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. Great area with all sorts of restaurants, bars, wine bars and boulangeries. 2 Metro stops within a 2 minute walk & the Gare d’Austerlitz is a 15 minute walk. Definitely one of the best stats I’ve ever had in Paris; mini-luxury with attention-to-detail and a very reasonable rate considering. Will be going back.
• Drew (8/5): - This is a great location. A short walk to Notre Dam, the hotel is quite and meticulously maintained. The rooms are small (european) so lots of luggage will be a problem. The is a small bar and a pleasant breakfast on site. The staff was excellent - friendly and helpful.
