- Christa (8/5): Zeer fraai en bijzonder - Zeer bijzondere en fraaie kamer, echt bovenin de letter met een prachtig uitzicht Ik denk wel dat het zomers verschrikkelijk warm kan worden in deze kamer, veel glas aan beide zijden van de kamer en weinig warmte wering. In de nacht kan het er was drukkend aanvoelen omdat er nauwelijks een raam open kan.

- Gitta (8/5): Leuk om in zo'n letter te slapen maar daar blijft het dan ook bij - Wat een locatie!!!! We logeerden in de 'loft letter B', wat een coole kamer.. En het uitzicht over het water, top! Met de veerpont overzetten van Centraal station naar Botel, supermakkelijk en redelijk vlot.. Letter B is leuk als je een skater bent of een gezin met kinderen, maar wat een steil trapje om aan je bed te geraken.. Van het tussenverdiepje hadden ze ook iets veel leukers en gezelligers kunnen maken, bijvoorbeeld daar een kleine zithoek met keukentje om dan de kleine badkamer wat uit te breiden. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk, maar niet zo hartelijk als je van Nederlanders gewend bent.. De boot was ook een heel raar gegeven, het zat vol Oekrainers.. We hadden kamer met ontbijt genomen, bij het inchecken niet heel duidelijk uitleg gekregen daarover. Kom je 's morgens toe, zie je een grote zaal met buffet zoals menig hotel, ohnee jullie mogen aan de gele tafel voor het lint plaatsnemen. De keukendame komt vragen wat je wil voor ontbijt, wat maar heel povertjes was voor het bedrag dat je betaalde! De gehele zaal met ontbijtbuffet was enkel voor de Oekrainers.. Het Duitse koppel naast ons vond het ook maar raar!!

We stayed in letter E where the main facilities of this attraction was the hot tub and big projector overlooking the room. Yet, the wifi was not working and the projector could not be use as paid and intended for. Evening shift could also not assist as they had no backup available to resolve or check this problem. Beds are comfy and soft. Pillows were quite stiff so had to go without.

While the location itself is good, numerous issues made the stay extremely poor. Key Issues: Arrival & Access: There was no place to drop luggage in front of the hotel (Botel). Room Misrepresentation: The rooms looked nothing like the pictures shown online. Cleanliness & Value: The towels provided were extremely dirty. The bed was also dirty. The overall value was terrible; the condition was so bad I wanted to leave immediately upon seeing the room. Disturbing Incident: Upon our initial arrival, a staff member gave us the key to our room. When we opened the door at 12:00 AM, we discovered other guests were already inside the room. They apologized and provided another room and key. Noise & Safety Concerns: The wind caused the entire loft to move and the windows whistled non-stop, preventing us from sleeping. The door kept banging due to the wind. A staff member suggested opening the window, placing a towel, and closing it again—a fix that he tried himself, but which did not work. The "idea of the room on letters" concept is nice, but I would never stay here again. The experience at the Botel was highly disappointing and I cannot recommend it to anyone. - Gerdy (8/5): Uniek (halfpipe) en mooi uitzicht - Halfpipe, het uitzicht en ook het bed. Je kan ook lekker buiten zitten naast je cabine, staan stoelen en een bankje en ruimte zat. Daarnaast is de pond gratis en de laatste van centraal (naar ndsm ) vertrekt in het weekend om 2:45 a.m. Het hotel/receptie is 24 uur open en je kan 's nachts naar binnen met je hotelkamer pas. Je moet dan je pas scannen naast de deur van de ingang. Ik was bij binnenkomst aan het wachten op een medewerker maar er staan ook selfservice checking en checkout balies. Dat zag ik later pas. En voor het ontbijt stond ik bij de check-in te wachten maar je kon gewoon doorlopen. Dat mocht wel duidelijker, aangezien je ook een tijd voor ontbijt moest opgeven maar achteraf blijkbaar niet nodig (was het vergeten en alles stond er gewoon). Daarnaast is de weg wat slecht bij de kade, traanplaat, dus kan glad zijn. Je kan er naast lopen maar dat asfalt is ook niet helemaal top. Maar eenmaal van de kade af tussen de winkels en pond is de weg wel goed.

- Oliver (10/5): - Wir haben im B übernachtet und hatten im Zimmer eine Skaterbahn. Das Zimmer ist definitiv nichts für Personen, die keine steile Treppe gehen können. Ein großes bequemes Bett in einem außergewöhnlichen Zimmer auf einem großen Sonnendeck. Stühle sind dort vorhanden. Sitzhocker uns Sitzkissen auf der 2. Ebene. Sehr gute und kostenfreie Anbindung zum Bahnhof um die Ecke mittels Fähre. Ebenfalls ein Supermarkt und das Hafenviertel mit Street Museum . Parkplatz 9 Euro für 24 Stunden sind sehr günstig für Amsterdam.

Le fait que l'hôtel était occupé partiellement par des réfugiés et qu'ils avaient des frigos dédiés qu'à eux, ne nous a pas trop plu, surtout qu'eux pouvaient arriver avec leur voiture devant l'hôtel, et qu'ils se promenaient et s'asseyaient partout dans l'hôtel, même devant les portes des lettres, ou nous résidions Je trouve leur initiative louable (je n'ai rien contre les réfugiés) mais je ne m'attendais pas à cela dans cet hotel, surtout pas à ce prix. Le parking extérieur à proximité à été supprimé, ce qui réduit l'attrait de l'endroit.

- Tibo (4/5): Niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar helaas - het ontbijt De kamer was vuil en er was schimmel in de badkamer. Er was heel veel lawaai in de kamer door de boiler/ventilatiesysteem dat niet uit kon en toen we in de avond naar het onthaal gingen voor te vragen of er iets aan gedaan kon worden zat er gewoon iemand aan het onthaal dat van niets iets wist er daar gewoon de wacht moest houden.

- Özgür (6/5): Güzel bir deneyimdi ama çocukla beraber yürüme mesafeleri ve bölgenin turistik olmaması yorucu oldu. - Gemi konseptinde olması güzeldi. Sürekli merkeze feribot olması ve deniz manzarası ile güzel bir deneyimdi. Terası kullanabiliyor olmak güzeldi. Buzdolabı olması ve iyi soğutuyor olması güzeldi. (Biraz fazla soğutuyor) Jakuzi hiç kullanamadık çünkü böcek çıktı içinden 2 defa. Akşam 10 gibi check in yapmaya geldik aracımızla ama kapı kilitliydi ve araç için herhangi bir yönlendirme bulunmuyordu. Issız bir yer gibi hissettirdi. Feribot ile merkeze geçince oradan yürümek bir yerden sonra yormaya başladı.
- Ivan (10/5): Perfecte uitje - De originele setting van de letters. Het supervriendelijk personeel. Het heerlijke zicht op het IJ. De aanwezigheid van toch wel rare mensen voor de ingang. Oekraïnese nummerplaten op de toch wel patserbakken. Volgens mij wonen die zelfs op de boot.
- Meike Wae (9/5): Loft T Außergewöhnliches Zimmer mit tollem Blick – Frühstück ausbaufähig - Das Loft T ist wirklich etwas Besonderes: modern eingerichtet, super chic und mit einem großen Bullauge-Fenster, in das man sich sogar hineinsetzen kann – mit direktem Blick auf den Fluss IJ bzw die Central Station. Insgesamt ist das Botel kein Standardhotel wie man es sich vorstellen, überall gibt es etwas zu sehen und entdecken. Alle Angestellte waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bett ist extrem hoch, beim Sitzen fehlten mir gut 30 cm bis zum Boden. Das ein und aussteigen war für mich tatsächlich sogar etwas schmerzhaft, da ich immer ein dünne Kante überwinden musste. Das Frühstück hat uns enttäuscht: sehr begrenzte Auswahl und für die Preisklasse eindeutig zu wenig. Am Abend vor dem dritten Tag erhielten wir einen Zettel, auf dem wir unsere Wünsche eintragen konnten. Dies hätten wir uns bereits am ersten Tag gewünscht, da wir im Loft T ein vom Standard abweichendes Frühstück erhalten sollten, das vorher umständlich abgefragt wurde. Das Personal spricht kaum Deutsch, was die Kommunikation manchmal erschwerte. Ein spannendes, außergewöhnliches Erlebnis, bei dem aber insbesondere das Frühstück nicht zum Standard passt. Auch wenn ich einiges zu kritisieren habe würde ich das Zimmer bzw ein Loft vom Botel empfehlen, da es einfach way ganz besonders ist.
- Meike Wae (9/5): - Nachdem wir zuerst 3 Nächte im Loft T verbracht haben, hatten wir weitere zwei Nächte im Loft O. Vom Hotel selbst augenzwinkernd das „versauteste“ Loft genannt. Ein Spiegel an der Decke, eine im Boden eingelassene Badewanne direkt neben dem Bett und ein extravagantes Bad mit gleich drei Duschen, drei Toiletten und drei Wasserhähnen lassen viel Raum für Fantasie. Trotz kleiner Schwächen überwiegt klar die Begeisterung: Beide Lofts sind außergewöhnlich, kreativ gestaltet und bieten ein unvergessliches Erlebnis – inklusive grandiosem Ausblick, wenn auch mit eingeschränkter Privatsphäre durch die riesigen Fenster. Der Heißwasserhahn sieht zwar cool aus, wird beim Einlassen des Badewassers, aber extrem heiß. Nicht jedermanns Geschmack: das Fenster vom Sofa ins Bad. Weniger überzeugend war das Frühstück: sehr begrenzte Auswahl für die Preisklasse.

- Simmy (10/5): I give it a B+ - The freedom to skate. It was a beautiful room, so much space. Then it seemed the top of the boat was ours with a majestic view. Just wonderful! The second set of steps was quite steep, but quite easy to get used to all the same
- Luc (8/5): à refaire volontier - Chambre très originale, hors du commun. Emplacement impeccable pour visiter Amsterdam, très facile avec les navettes fluviales gratuites et très fréquentes. Permet de se retrouver hors de la cohue en quelques minutes, permet également du parking facile et peu coûteux. Rien de négatif

We stayed at letter ‘B’ and the skylight window was broken. I understand that these things can happen, but it seemed to have been broken for quite some time. Additionally, the way it was covered felt cheap and not in line with the quality and style one would expect from a loft like this.

Das Personal war supernett und sehr zuvorkommend.Das Botel ist sehr zu empfehlen weil es auch eine besondere Lage hat und für uns ein neuer Lieblingsfleck....einfach ein wunderbarer Ort....einen extra Gruss an den Manager ,wir freuen uns aufs Nächstemal ...es war schön bei euch.... 👥🥂🌅💞 Bedankt,...Dank

- Nicolai (4/5): Alt for dyrt (Loft O værelset) - Beliggenheden er perfekt lige ved færge F4 til Centraal Station Vi boede i Loft O værelset - bogstav på toppen. Aircon kunne ikke køle det ordentligt ned, så det var alt for varmt (29. maj). Brand alarm gik to gange i løbet af natten - falsk alarm - men nattesøvn ødelagt. Hotellet er iøvrigt fyldt med flygtninge fra Ukraine. De gør ingen ting, men man forventer det ikke på et hotel. Morgenmaden er virkeligt kedelig. Det er lavet til de mange flygtninge -man bliver mæt - men ikke pengene værd

- Mme Virginie WROBEL (8/5): Dormir dans une chambre atypique, sur le toit d'un bateau, avec vue incroyable sur Amsterdam . - La chambre atypique, la promesse d'une expérience exceptionnelle, la lettre E est le plus petit cinéma d'Amsterdam, y passer une nuit pourvoir un film dans un lit king size, c'est mémorable! La vue sur la ville est incroyable. Les travaux sur le quai, marteau piqueur matinal et chantier bruyant ont gâché le séjour. C'est dommage au regard du prix de la nuit, pour mémoire à plus de 280€
