- Pascal (10/5): - Tres bien bon rapport qualité prix
- Timothee (2/5): Hôtel sale - Hygiène déplorable.
- Alicia (2/5): - Absolute worst hotel experience, only stayed for one night. First I was given a key & told that I need to leave this key at reception every time I leave the building, I repeated what I was just told for clarity and was told YES you must leave your key here. Then I went to my room & found out I was given the wrong room. Two guests & we are not a couple, we were given a room with one bed - our reservation was specifically for two beds. On my way down to reception to fix this I was screamed at by the cleaning lady. Apparently she was startled to see someone in the hotel waiting for the elevator and that warranted her to shriek and then demand to know who I am & which room I am staying in. I went down to have my room fixed & was told by the receptionist to go back & lock the door of the previous room and bring her back the key, arrived at my new room (not locked) & tried to get settled in. That was until the same cleaning lady began singing at the top of her lungs right next to our room door I opened the door to see what was going on & she began pointing at me & repeating something in French then immediately turned back to her cart looking for something, I stayed in my doorway completely in shock wondering what was going on & then she ran towards my door & tried to close it with me standing in the way. I explained this to the receptionist and that is when she said that they weren’t expecting me there, not sure how this is possible at a hotel. Bottom line: DO NOT STAY HERE.
- Monia (8/5): sejour agreable - agreable ,calme
A éviter
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not recommend 4 big person & get 2 bed for 2 adult - Shower is very very very small and I'm a small guy.
Bed is also small but location was good and price was right so u do get what u pay for.
- georges (8/5): - hôtel bien situé bien deservie a refaire
- Verified traveler (8/5): - simply could be better .
simply could be better .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Bon accueil, personnel attentif, bonne connexion wifi.
- C (4/5): You get what you pay for - The property is located on a residential street but not too far from the Metro with decent restaurants nearby. The room itself was disappointing, too small, even struggled to open the door - no air conditioning, and the shower cubical was so narrow that you can barely stand.
We didn’t try breakfast but i suppose if you are a single or young couple it’s alright for a night or two with basic options.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location is very good. Rooms are small. Little space to walk around the bed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like the staff and the bed slept good. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - bien ubicado
buena zona
agradable
todo bien
buen personal
- Moisés (4/5): Não ficaria nele novamente - Hotel muito ruim
- Verified traveler (6/5): close to food market - not so good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel calme bien pour travailler La douche a ete refaite. Literie neuve.
- Taro (2/5): - Honestly this hotel was unpleasant.
First of all, this hotel has a strange rule that people staying there needs to deposit a key when they go outside.
I was okay with this rule, however, they lost my key when I got back to the hotel in the night, so I was forced to wait at front desk for 40 minutes.
Turned out they passed my room key to the other guest of the hotel. Luckily this other guest noticed this and came back to return it, but I had no idea how this hotel made such terrible mistakes. I only cared about my luggage, and those were fine, but I was exhausted and didn’t want to be involved with this hotel anymore so I just left without saying any complaints.
If you don’t want to lose your luggage or wait at the desk, don’t choose this hotel.
- RAFFAELE (10/5): Bellissimo soggiorno.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Emplacement parfait. Bien desservi en transport.. brasseries
- Lamagyanendra (2/5): worst hotel - We were given room in the 3rd-floor room was very tiny and not so much clean, Small window and small bathroom very tiny shower. This Hotel was very bad in Paris to compare to another hotel and also expansive. The staff was very friendly but not helpful.
I would strongly advise anyone if you visit Paris to choose another hotel.
- cassieopia212 (4/5): Average hotel - I found this hotel uninviting. The staff weren’t very friendly. Our room was very cold with the heater working when it wanted to. The decor was very outdated and there was no iron to use and the hairdryer something from the 70s.
The cleaner was very noisy and banged our doors every morning shouting “service”
On the plus side it’s very close to some lovely cafes/the metro and some beautiful cobbled streets full of places to eat.
I’d stay again because of this.
I don’t think it’s worth the money however this is one of the cheaper hotels in Paris..
- Didier (10/5): très bon rapport qualité/prix - séjour très agréable, personnel aimable, très bon rapport qualité/prix
- Verified traveler (2/5): - A eviter
- margaret (8/5): - I have often stayed in this hotel, which is in a very quiet area, with comfortable rooms and helpful friendly staff. This time they seemed to have communication problems: although I was assured morning and night by different staff that the curtain that was hanging down (a problem on ground floor) would be fixed, it wasn't. After a few days, I finally climbed up and fixed it myself with paper clips.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Een beetje afgeleefd hotel helaas, ligging en personeel uitstekend !
- Laurspa (6/5): Modest but clean - The hotel is located about seven minutes away from the metro. There are a few restaurants nearby including a McDonald's if that suits your fancy. The hotel is very small and the elevator can only hold two at a time. Our room and shower were really tight. That being said, the room was clean and I felt safe. The front desk staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Considering the prices for hotels in Paris, I feel like we received value for my money.
- takok455 (10/5): Perfect! - I loved this hotel! The staff was really perfect!!! The bathroom was very cleaned. Cozy hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!!! Metro (cordiliers) was very near, at about 200 meters from the hotel....
- stenrud (4/5): Dislike their way of fixing problems - Hotel was nice, but the website we booked from stated that the rooms had air conditioning, which was clearly not the case. We sent the first 2 days asking for a solution, and then we got in contact with the manager who offered us a fan.
Too little, too late.
- 323ram_nf (6/5): Tight - I was there for 5 nights in early June. When I did the booking I asked for a large bed (I am really big) so my desmay was deep when sseing the small bed I was awarded in an, otherwise, tiny room. Another problem is that you can hear all the details of your neighbour's early morning shower. The breakfast was not particularly good for the 9€ they asked for. So, after trying it the first morning, I opted for a cheaper, better café in the next corner, barely 20 m away from the hotel.
That's for the dark side (a fairly extensive one). On the brighter side, the location of this cheap hotel, barely 20' walking from the Panthéon. Also, the staff were always very kind and attentive. It was also clean.
So, all in all, be warned: if you want to walk about the historic core of Paris and, too, you're a tough chap and don't care much about your accomodation and sleep efortlessly, that would be your place.
- Olivier (8/5): - bon rapport qualité prix
- muhsinvillaf (4/5): Beware - Staff might crash in to your room whilst you are in - I would not call this a hotel, but a small Guesthouse.Only admirable thing is the place is located in between 2 metro stations (Les Goblins/Glacier) which is only about 7 minutes walk from the hotel. This is actually pretty normal in Paris with the sophisticated Metro system in place.I stayed there for a couple of nights and it was not that bad for me until the day of my check out.
Initially I booked via booking.com and I am a genius member and advised that sometimes there could be issues with my credit card but the time I arrived they have cancelled the booking but reserved the room for me which included the booking.com commission fee as well plus some other taxes.I was so tired after travelling all the way from Antwerp so to hear that the room is reserved was pleasing for me and did not mind paying anything they asked for.
On your booking it clearly states the checkout time is at 12 PM but around 10 AM the cleaner literally opened my room door while I was saying "we are here and wait we are opening the door".She crashed in and does not speak any English either when we said the check out is at 12 PM she nodded and went down.
Early in the morning there will be construction noise on the street which will wake you up and the smallest room ever I came across in my entire journey throughout the Europe.
Overall I would say the staff is OK at the reception as they were helpful giving information and to hold the bags until our departure in the night. But certain aspects made our impression very negative as the security is lacking.(Safe was there not working)
I would doubt if I would stay there again unless I am forced to as I am concerned of the security of the place and the comfort.
Would not recommend the place though the staff attitude is positive.
Excellente situation. Accueil charmant
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great, will stay here again - The staff were really friendly. It was a budget stay with everything you need to sleep through the night.
The room and showers were clean. I appreciate that the shower's hot water came immediate after turning it on. Also, the heating in the room is working. Recommend for travels in cooler seasons, as the room does not seem to have an AC.
- Jean (8/5): Good, but worm in the summer. - it was good, good location and good services. But there was no air conditioning as stated on the website.
- Lyn (8/5): Affordable Hotel close to most the the sites. - The hotel receptionist all whom we have interacted with was so friendly, very helpful and very informative about the pros especially the cons of the city which we do appreciate. Although the room condition wasn't good since it's very affordable and we did just sleep anyway. Leave early morning and went back late makes it bearable.
- bot92 (6/5): Clean, staff speaks English - I booked the hotel on the spot they offered a tariff a little bit expressive for a 2 stars hotel but looking at the rooms they were similar even better than another 3 stars hotel (Media) that I saw the same day. The hotel needs some work but overall is ok. The rooms are extremely clean which I really like it, it has the basic for a place to sleep while you are visiting Paris. The neighbourhood is very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Sufficient to Meet Requirements - Discovered this hotel within walking distance of University area. Service was ok. Eager maid to clean the room at 9am.
- evdokimos (6/5): well yes.... but... - I almost forgot how terrible Paris' hotels are... it has been a long time I wasn't visiting Paris... well even if it looks terrible in the beginning it's not bad in the end... it is clean, wifi is perfect, staff is friendly and helpful... what else do you need?
- MOHAMED ALI (10/5): nice and clean hotel with good price - nice and clean hotel with good price
- Noel (6/5): Not recommended - Less value for the price paid. No air-conditioning. No choice but to open windows but pretty close to other units so you can hear people talk and smell cigarette smoke. In-room safe not working. Very small room. Won't stay there again.
- Noel (6/5): Not recommended - Had 2 separate bookings as we had to go to another city for a day. We would have looked for other hotels if I haven't prepaid.
- matthew (6/5): Value for money hotel in Paris - I wanted a one night cheap for Paris hotel. 24 hour desk, welcomed, and given key. ( must leave if go out to avoid losing). Room was dated, some maintenance needed, but have stayed in worse. It was clean, and bathroom very clean. Bed was OK, slept well. No noise from street in my room to rear. Did not take breakfast. Would i stay again, for one night yes.
- Rambler (8/5): - Overall good. Nice area near a metro stop with supermarket, bakery, and restaurants nearby. Friendly morning staff, afternoon and evening less so. Shabby 1980s feel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - one night stay, just needed a bed in a nice neighborhood. For the location, can't beat the price. Nothing flashy but does the job
- Ziya (6/5): Short Stay in Paris - It was only a two nights stay. It is a small cute hotel close enough to the city center and all historical sights. Not to expect a lot but in general it is Ok. The first night l caught two BED BUGS in my bed, that was a horrible experience.
When l mentioned this to the front desk they gave me an other room for the second night, thank God that room was OK,
The Owner of this hotel should take it more seriously because BED BUGS are very resistant, they need a serious professional treatment. To my earlier experiences about hotels infested by Bed Bugs, Special Products must be used, otherwise other rooms will be infested too very soon. It is a serious problem. And waking up in the middle of the night with bites on your arm, neck, face is not pleasant at all.
- George (6/5): the Hotel is close to two metro stations.
- The bedroom and the bathroom is very very small.
The Cleaning service begin at 6:30 or 7:00 am,
so u will listen to staff voices.
In addition, you are able to listen to the voice of the person on other rooms.
many times I thing that there are a person using my bathroom, finaly I discover that my
neighbour is using his bathroom.
Mr. Farid- The Receptionist is very helpful and freindly person
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Small. Dank. Room on ground floor. Probably wouldn't go back.
- kunalkalra90 (6/5): Good Budget Hotel - The Hotel I will say is in the good location. Nearest metro stop is just 2 minutes which takes you direct to Gare Est. Also, there is another metro station in 10 minutes of a walk which takes you to the Eiffel Tower. The room was really good, clean No sound (Maybe because we were at the end of the floor away from the lift). Toiletries were changed every day. We never tried having breakfast, because there were so many other options available nearby so we decided to have there. There is a locker available in the room, but you have to pay extra for using the locker.
- Tony (8/5): Great Location - I did have a really nice experience at the hotel, the staff was very helpful, the hotel is close to the train station, the location is safe and it have many restaurants around the area, I'll recommend to download the metro app to get around, it's faster and accurate.
- tulaphone (6/5): Good location - Good location budget hotel. A pleasant walk to Notre Dame along rue Mouffetard a mediaeval sreet with a morning market, traditional shops and café's.but also close to metro and rail stations. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the room small but clean. Just what I expected from a budget hotel in a capital city.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget. At least has elevator. - Budget hotel in Paris. Few mins walk to Metro. There is some strange smell in the room. I need to open all windows despite it is only 5-deg-C only. No luggage room. All just put in the Breakfast/Dining area. Little bit worry.
- Sarah (6/5): If you need a bed - This hotel was part of a package deal. This is a great place if you are not spending a lot of time at the hotel. Check in was fast and easy and they let us check in early. The room was small and dated but the bed was comfy. No dresser to unpack but a small wardrobe instead. The biggest complaint was the bathroom. As with many older hotels it was not original to the building and although it was clean it smelled. The shower door would not stay closed and the shower head was handheld only. There was plenty of hot water which was lovely. The staff were very helpful when we had issues. If you are on a budget and are used to cheap hotels you know you get what to pay for. Don't expect a 5 star hotel and you will be fine. We stayed 6 nights. It was a very short walk to the 7 line on the metro, has a grocery store around the corner, and was close enough to city center to be convenient. If the same package deal came up again I would stay here again.
- Karenannsadventures (6/5): Cheap, Central, Basic but not to bad - Stayed here at the end off November my first trip to Paris. It's on a good Metro Line very easy to get to and from the main attractions in Paris.
It has good shops beside it for getting food supplies in as there is no tea or coffee etc in the room I advise buying bottles of water and some food to bring with you as it is VERY basic. Room was small not overly clean but not dirty although bedding etc could do with updating.
Curtains didn't close, heating didn't work, house keeping just let themselves into your room at 8am (or earlier as I heard the people in the next room goving off at 7.40am) even if your still in bed so hint is to keep your key in the door when u lock it at night so they cant let themselves in until you have left. bedding is very basic a sheet and a throw over the bed when we pushed the beds apart there were holes in the sheets!!
Staff are nice and friendly, Location is nice 30 second walk and you are at a cafe or a minute and you are in a shop which is open until 10.30pm in winter which has a great selection of food etc and isnt dear.
All in all for the price the hotel was ok very basic but I may stay again as it is in a good location and if you use it as a base just to sleep its not that bad just dont expect to much for your buck
- foton (6/5): Cheap hotel but clean - Stayed for 9 nights. Close to subway station. Just a 5 minute walk. Close to some restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. Location is not central but the subway system is extensive so no problem with getting anywhere around.
As for the hotel itself, it looks old do not the place for a honeymoon but works for singles and couples who wouldn't have minded a hostel. This is way better than a hostel though. Room was clean although the bathroom is too small for a larger frame person. I'm 5'7 and find the shower stall and bathroom a bit small.
The room I stayed in had a power outlet for a hair dryer, and amazingly enough it has an outlet for North American plugs! I forgot to bring my power adapter so it worked out great to recharge my electronics.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel and location - We stayed 1 night in the aladin on the 1november its a beautiful place very quiet and the staff couldn't do enough for you at price its a complete bargain
