• Lakner (9/5): Alles in allem eine feine Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage und lieben Gastgebern - Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum! Christina, die uns empfangen hat, ist so herzlich und freundlich. Da haben wir uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt…. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gepflegt und liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Das Bad ist sehr sauber, aber leider sehr klein. Das Duschen ist schwierig, da man keine Abstellfläche für Duschgels hat und sehr wenig Platz

Le logement disposait de lits et d'oreillers très confortables, ainsi que de tous les équipements nécessaires. Grâce à la gentillesse, serviabilité et flexibilité de Cristina, notre hôte, notre séjour a été des plus agréables! Pour finir, le must était cette magnifique terrasse en rooftop!
• Verónica (9/5): Un oasis en el Trastevere - El alojamiento es un oasis en medio del Trastevere. Es un lugar agradable, en el que se puede descansar sin ningun problema. Todo limpio, una calle tranquila, y te da la posibilidad de ahorrar algo de dinero, porque se puede cocinar perfectamente. Nos ahorramos todos los desayunos y una cena, que teniendo en cuenta los precios desorbitados de Roma, se agradece. Pudimos disfrutar de la terraza. Además Cristina nos atendió a varias dudas y problemas pequeños que surgieron, de forma automática. Muchas gracias. Echamos en falta algo más de menaje en la cocina, pero en general, suficiente para dos días.

It was not clear that there would be an extra $10 Euro per day charge for City Tax, separate from the Booking.com charge. That seemed a bit less than fully transparent. Owner left a receipt for same on kitchen table, but as a receipt I thought already debited. Also the balance for main Booking.com charge did not match my records. So I discarded the info, and then had to pay it after back home, due to these confusing aspects.

Logement super propre et literie impeccable, un accueil au top par Christina. Rien à redire, je recommande et je reviendrai dans ce logement si je reviens sur Rome sans hésiter !

• Lucy (9/5): - The apartment was spacious and clean. The location for restaurants was amazing! Christina was so so kind and helped us with an issue with the electrics when we had a problem. Loved it here and would definitely start again! Things like instructions for where to take rubbish and recycling would have been really helpful. Knowing where lights on the stairs also would have been good. But these are petty things to improve. It is a fantastic place and we were very happy!

• John (6/5): Enjoyable place to stay in old Rome. - Location is great. Walk to many of Rome’s big attractions. Lots of food options close by. Quite too. Spacious enough for 2 Access is a problem. We advised our arrival time but neither an access code or apartment key were provided. We had to wait and that was after over 36 hours travel. Not great. A key box was outside the apartment and could easily solve the problem
• Neta (8/5): All in all we enjoyed our stay and we recommend it apart from the fact and the incident with the cold shower. - This stay there is really nice and welcoming. The apartment itself was really nice and welcoming. There were all of the needed appliances in the kitchen including a laundry machine. Everything was clean and orderly and the staff was really friendly. There was a problem with the hot water in our apartment which led us to take showers and cold water. When we told the staff they let us take a shower in a different apartment and came to fix it the day after it wasn’t fixed and on our last day, we also took cold showers. The staff didn’t ask. Ask us if it was okay for us and just apologised when we left.

• Marijana (9/5): - The apartment is good, with two large bedrooms, but no living room. Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The terrace is on the roof of the building, not connected to the apartment. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. Communication was good. The hostess Cris and the owner Adria no are very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our bags on the last day, as we had an evening flight. They also organized transportation to the airport for us. I wish them all the best and recommend this accommodation.

Roof terrace is a nice bonus and wonderful place to have breakfast. Host communication was very good. Excellent instructions sent on how to get access. Coffee machine was a godsend, just remember to take some coffee pods with you. Great shower! We had a party of two couples and the apartment although small was absolutely perfect for us. We felt this apartment was good value overall. Location was perfect. Right in the middle of the popular and ancient Trastevere area of Rome with narrow cobbled streets lined with small shops, bars, restaurants. Pretty central for Rome there is easy walking to all main Rome sights. A raucus area with loads of places to eat and drink, every building covered in grafiti and bill posters and oozing bags of Italian atmosphere. Affluent tourists and locals mingle all day, every day until late at night. Great atmosphere and perfect base to experience Rome (and Italy) if your first time. Recommend you head out for early dinner if you want a table on the street and take in the evening vibe. Gets very very busy, yet still fairly reasonable prices. Rome itself is a huge slice of history. Be ready for lots of walking and neck pain from looking up. The actual Roman period buildings and ruins are numerous and very, very tall. Rome is also much more hilly than you would expect. The city is awesome. We went in late October and it was like summer if you are coming from Northern Europe. An absolute joy staying there. There is nothing we didn't like about the apartment. The area around is noisy at night but honestly what do you expect for an apartment in this location? Wasn't an issue for us, we loved the atmosphere. Rome itself was really good but the major disappointment was the Vatican, which for obvious reasons given it is a place of pilgrimage is really surprising. St Peters square is stunning and easily accessible (perfect in fact) but getting into the actual Vatican itself was a major disappointment due to the insane queues to buy tickets to access. You simply cannot buy online official tickets in advance as they are all sold out. The place is absolutely swarming with touts, so it is obvious they have bought all available tickets up and are reselling them. All tickets going at 3-5 times the face price, some tours were eye wateringly expensive at hundreds of Euros. We felt the church was allowing this rank profiteering if not condoning it. Didn't ruin the trip to Rome at all but was sad the Vatican wasn't as organised as the other places in Rome such as the Colusseum which was superb value and very well managed. I completely get the need to manage the vast numbers of visitors as these are sacred and fragile historical places. However, the issue isn't the numbers themselves, it is the way the access and cost is controlled by touts and third party companies making vast unfair profits, and that the church must know this and allow it. Some visitors are just tourists but some of them are also Catholics for whom the visit is the highlight of their life. Shabby way to be treated frankly whether you are a pilgrim or a tourist.

• Paqui (7/5): Apartamento pequeño en el bajo de un edificio muy bien ubicado - Nos gustó principalmente la ubicación, situado en pleno barrio de Trastevere, una zona preciosa de Roma, con muy buen ambiente, muy animado, lleno de restaurantes y comercios y calles con mucho encanto.En cuanto al apartamento, el dormitorio está bien, buen tamaño, con cama que resulta cómoda y hay aire acondicionado. Nos pareció pequeño para 4 personas, no había un salón como tal, nada más abrir la puerta del apartamento nos encontramos un recibidor que hacia las veces de comedor, el baño es pequeño y la cocina estaba ubicada dentro de un armario. En esta misma habitación estaba la lavadora y calentador y un sofá cama. Echamos en falta algo más de menaje de cocina, no hay tostador.

De ligging was goed, alleen was er veel herrie ‘s avonds en ‘s ochtends. ‘s ochtends verzamelde schooljeugd beneden die erg rumoerig waren. ‘s avonds mensen die door de straat liepen en heel veel herrie maakten. Zie boven . De badkamer was erg klein. De douche ingang heel smal. Als je wat gezetter bent kom je er denk ik niet in. Misschien wat meer theedoeken, vaatdoekjes en schoonmaakartikelen.

• Gloria (9/5): - Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt, wir haben ganz Rom von hier fußläufig erreicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und man fühlt sich wohl. Auch die Gastgeberin per WhatsApp war sehr nett und alles lief reibungslos. Die Dachterrasse ist auch sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet mit Pflanzen und Sitzmöglichkeiten, wir haben hier immer den Abend ausklingen lassen. In dem einen Zimmer konnte es nachts durch betrunkene auf dem Heimweg etwas lauter werden. im anderen Zimmer ging keine Lüftung durchs Fenster, deshalb hat man dort nichts gehört.

Bathroom is quite small, but for a short time it is ok. There is a little noise with groups walking past or coming back into the apartments late at night, but overall it is reasonably quiet.

• Nicola (8/5): - Easy access and a lovely welcome. Our host was super helpful and responsive. Good value for the location. Quite a small apartment so only beds to relax on but other than that the bedrooms were quite spacious.

Плохая шумоизоляция. В подъезде не было света, без фонарика попасть в аппартаменты на третьем этаже вечером невозможно.

Transporte cerca para ir cualquier zona.Apartamento muy bonito con lo necesario. Cristina muy amable en todo. Por poner pega, las almohadas son muy altas pero eso es fácil solucionar poniendo extras más bajitas y seguro toman nota. Aún así dormimos muy bien los cuatro.

• Neil (8/5): A very good place for a few days - Great location , close to some very cool restaurants Taxis find it hard to get too. So you have to walk the last bit as the street is narrow. If you want a taxi to pick you up for a cruise/airport book ahead and the driver will park away and come looking for you.

• Duncan (8/5): Overall a great location, clean and comfortable apartment. - Liked the location, its character and cleanliness It lacked some kitchen basics like paper towels, extra drying towel and condiments that would make it easier for preparing breakfast or a snack.
• Stuart (10/5): Second time staying and would return again. Really good price for the area. You don’t really need much when you stay in - Location! Safe and fun area. Modern shower room. Roof terrace. Cleanliness. Cristina met us and was lovely and so helpful!

• Lindsey (9/5): Comfy accomodation in a great location with a fabulous host. - The location is very convenient to sites, restaurants and public transport. The space is comfortable and welcoming. My only piece of constructive feedback is to provide toilet paper and hand soap in the bathroom please.
• Leon (10/5): A great stay in Rome - Rooms were spotless and well equipped. The roof terrace was a great space for a glass of wine in the evening. Cristina was very accommodating to an early arrival and extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to go see and eat.

• Emily (6/5): Cozy apartment with A/C - Apartment has A/C and kitchen where there are many different restaurants, coffee, gelateria's in close proximity from the apartment. There was a cute little courtyard on the top which we didn't go sit up there to enjoy the view because it was too during the hot summer heat during our stay. The hot water was turned off and there were no toiletries or toilet paper when we arrived at the apartment. Would have been nice to have a list of recommendations of places to eat around the area of the apartment.
