• Max (9/5): Wir würden wieder kommen, es hat uns gut gefallen - Die Lage ist perfekt Das Frühstück war ausggezeichnet, obwohl es immer dasselbe gab. Die Fenster sind wie in England, wenn sie geschlossen sind hört man von der Strasse her jedes Wort und es zieht hinein.
• Daniela (10/5): - Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Allein die Bar ist ein Erlebnis, sehr leckere, ungewöhnliche Cocktails, die Mitarbeiter erklären gern alles. Die Zimmer sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Angenehm: Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee und gratis Minibar. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert, sehr leckerer Kaffee, dazu Granoa, Yoghurt, Brot, Croissant, Butter, Tomaten, Marmelade, Köse und Eier nach Wahl. Ich werde diese Unterkunft gern erneut buchen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, entsprechend belebt und nachts sehr laut. Mich hat das nicht gestört, aber nicht jedem helfen Ohrstöpsel. Es ist ein altes Haus, d.h. alles eher klein und die Treppe extrem steil. Die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich zum Glück um das Gepäck.

• Ben (10/5): - Beautiful room above a beautiful art-deco styled sit-down cocktail bar. Breakfast tasty. Location is also excellent. All the staff, from the cocktail staff to the breakfast people in the morning, are very friendly. Don't know how common this is in The Netherlands, but double-glazing on the sash windows in the room would help cut out a lot of the noise as well as make the room easier to heat.

• Mandy (8/5): Mandy and Sue's Great Amsterdam Adventure - We had a warm welcome in this small canalside boutique hotel . Low lighting , mirrors and bric a brac set a dramatic backdrop for the cocktail bar in which we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Rosalia's is in central Amsterdam , set amidst colourful shops and cafes . Our 2 rooms upstairs were individually themed and impeccably clean . The beds were comfy and luxurious . Mine overlooked the busy canal and was surprisingly quiet . A substantial delicious breakfast was provided each morning. The quirky historical building has no lift- we found out only after Booking (and payment). There were a few days of anxiety bouncing between Booking.com and the Owner about its suitability for our stay . We just about managed the steep stairs - they definitely aren't for the elderly frail and disabled (*us) or weak of spirit!

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of fresh options, and the bar was a highlight — great atmosphere and very well-made cocktails.

• Domagoj (9/5): A peaceful and relaxing stay in an excellent central location. - Perfect location for a truly relaxing stay. Although located in the city center, it remains an ideal place to unwind and enjoy some quiet time away from the crowds. The selection of breakfast ingredients and the arrival/check-in process were somewhat confusing. We didn’t mind, but it’s worth noting that the stairs are very narrow and steep.

• mandybkent (10/5): Great quirky central hotel. - What a lovely quirky little hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. Fab cocktails topped be had in the reception area and a great breakfast each morning. We had room 1, which luckily was on the first floor as the stairs are steep!! Room looked over the canal, and had everything you needed for a comfy stay. Treats and drinks in the fridge, and teas/coffee in room too. Comfy bed. We did not find it at all noisy at the front of the hotel. Would recommend a stay here.

• Philip (10/5): We are already planning the next trip to Rosalia's Menagerie! - The breakfast was excellent. Locally sourced food and good service. The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam. The room was quiet, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were informed by other catering and distillery staff that it serves the best cocktails and has the nicest atmosphere of all the cocktail bars in Amsterdam. We would certainly agree with that. We will certainly come again. Thank you for everything.

• Carmen maria (7/5): Con mucho potencial pero fallos básicos. Bien - La ubicación es inmejorable, la habitación grande y el detalle del minibar incluido. El desayuno es siempre el mismo pero es de calidad y está muy bien y completo. Hace frío en la habitación, hay que poner el split y se apaga solo a las horas, por lo que cuando llegas del frío de la calle no encuentras la habitación todo lo confortable que debería. Pasa igual en la hora del desayuno, estábamos todos los huéspedes desayunando con el abrigo y la bufanda puesta.

• Jilly (10/5): Fun weekend in Amsterdam made even better by this wonderful accommodation. - The location was fantastic, the breakfast was tasty, and the room lovely and quaint. The cocktail bar was really good (cocktails also very tasty!), and slipping through the 'secret' door to the Inn upstairs was cool! We were here to go to the Ziggo Dome to see Lady GaGa (AMAZING!!!) so the proximity to the Metro was a huge advantage. Nothing - we were very happy with our stay, and would definitely look at staying here again next time we are in Amsterdam.

Both the host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Always a great perk having a cocktail bar in your hotel too! It’s a traditional building, so the windows are single glazed. It can be a bit cold. Perhaps a bigger heater would be better. The bathroom could do with a spruce up too. It all worked though and wouldn’t put me off returning again.

• Jessica (10/5): Loved this hotel! - Loved staying here! Staff was welcoming and full of info about what to do in Amsterdam. Location was a block away from the red light district, but still quiet, overlooking a canal. Great breakfast and complimentary food and beverages in your room. And just an adorable vibe with authentic Dutch feel. My only complaints where that there was no elevator (because this is a canal house, this is normal), and the shower had a little mold in the corners. But otherwise clean, cozy, and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
• Dadof2inBRU (8/5): Lovely Boutique stay in the heart of AMS - We decided to venture away from the traditional big box hotels and experience a more local experience. The staff at Rosalia’s is par excellence, the breakfast is substantial (the best yogurt we’ve ever eaten) and the room was typically sufficient and European. Rosalia’s is well located to restaurants, shopping, public transportation and the central train station.
• Rhett (10/5): - We loved this place. The cocktail bar was pumping when we arrived home from dinner. Staff were brilliant. The canal view room was stunning and the breakfast was phenomenal. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Amsterdam. Brilliant!

Very close to the Red Light District (which is an interesting area), but far enough away that it's mostly quiet. We did have loud voices we heard from the streets below us on multiple occasions. The breakfasts were good and a plus. The stairs are very narrow, but they carry luggage up to your room. We were the top floor. The view was nice of the canal. The host was not there when we arrived by taxi. We called without an answer. We wasted time waiting for him to arrive. The breakfasts need to be changed up daily instead of preparing the same breakfast every day. It gets old after 4 days of eating the same breakfast IMO. The breakfast was good though.

• Tan (10/5): I definitely recommend it. - Great location. Not noisy. One of the owners, a lady, was very kind. She gave detailed information about the room and the hotel. The place was very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was sufficient, and the ingredients were delicious and of high quality. It was enjoyable that there was a cocktail bar downstairs. I also really liked that the minibar was free and refilled every day. Be careful with steep stairs. It would have been perfect if the shower was a bit more spacious and the water pressure a little stronger. But my rating is still 10 :)

Quite odd as the other room on the first floor ( our friend stayed there) had a beautiful armour . It took away from the ambiance of staying on the canal . That said I would definitely recommend this hotel as everything else was great !
• 405lizzier (10/5): Wonderful little hotel - This little hotel is just perfect. It’s a fantastic location and easy to walk to from the train station. It is so relaxed and very quiet even though it is literally in the centre of everything! Easy walking distances from just about everywhere in Amsterdam. The rooms are perfect, spotless, comfortable and decorated beautifully. They contain everything you need. The bathrooms are spacious with gorgeous toiletries and fluffy towels. The breakfast is so delicious, Gabriel looked after us really well, making our breakfasts just as we like them! Yummy muesli great coffee and fresh squeezed juice. The cocktails in the evening were incredible and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed in the bar. We literally had the BEST time! Thank you to everyone.

• Yelena (10/5): - Rosalia's is a gem in the city. The staff are kind and so helpful, and the ambiance is magnificent. The breakfast is delicious and prompt, and the hotel is located in the center of the city, which makes it easy to walk to all the sites and catch trains/transportation to other parts of the Netherlands. The hotel is located above a speakeasy-style cocktail bar that serves amazing drinks.
• hilarye304 (10/5): Charming rooms and cocktails in the heart of Amsterdam - An absolutely beautiful and very special place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Lots to do and see in the local area and the team at Rosalia's made us feel so welcome during our 2 night stay. We also loved the fact that the cocktail bar downstairs leads up to the rooms above - such a quirky, one off! The cocktails and snacks were fantastic too. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything we needed to make the most of our trip. Breakfast was great too! I highly recommend staying here and would happily return.

• Alexm (7/5): Great location for exploring Amsterdam, but the poor service left a disappointing impression. - The location was excellent—very close to the main attractions, which made it easy to explore and enjoy Amsterdam. The room was decent—not outstanding, but clean and comfortable enough for a good stay. Unfortunately, the staff were quite rude and unprofessional, and I experienced behavior that felt biased and discriminatory. Additionally, at check-in, the receptionist insisted that breakfast wasn’t included, even though it was clearly stated in my Booking.com reservation. I had to show proof myself, which was frustrating and unwelcoming.
• Beaver (7/5): Beautiful spot. We had a great time. - Location is amazing. In the heart of everything. Delicious breakfast included that is served, every morning. Staff was mostly friendly. Rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Including drinks and snacks that are included. Steps. We knew there were steps and no elevator, but the steps were very narrow and winding. Also the staff promised to bring down luggage and that didn’t happen. No one brought down our luggage and we had to do that ourselves at 6 am to leave for the airport.
