The staff provided free snacks that were available - like coffee, water, croissants, tea etc. So KIND! We were also 2 young girls traveling and we both felt extremely safe. The property has great security and is in a very safe, quiet area but very close to all the main attractions. I've visited Rome 3 times already and this was the best stay.

• Richard (9/5): Charming guest house near the Piazza Navona. - The location was great! The building was from the 1600’s, with high beamed ceilings, shutter windows, and antique-style furniture. Michelle was charming and helpful. Snacks, tea, coffee and water available 24/7, and fresh croissants in the morning. It’s a bit complicated to enter: You need a code to get in, then a key to the gate, then have to take a small elevator to the second floor, and then a code to get into the guest house. If you arrive late, be sure to let Michelle know or you might have problem!

She didn't offer breakfast but an outrageous selection of water, coffee & snacks so MUCH better than an average Italian breakfast 😂 My own problem due to how warm the room was, but I slept with the window open and it was LOUD outside. Easily solved by closing the window & using the aircon!

• Mike (10/5): La Maison dell'Orologio Stay - This was a lovely, well presented room. The host was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and she was able to help us with any information we needed. The real prize of this accommodation is the location. There is so much to see within easy walking distance. For anything further afield it is well served by buses, which we found very easy to use.There are also plenty of affordable places to eat and drink nearby. Because the location is right in the heart of Rome it is not quiet. This did not bother us, but it is something to be aware of.
