• Verified traveler (8/5): - Posizione strategica per visitare le principali attrazioni di Firenze e camera spaziosa e arredata in modo gradevole. L'albergo è di fatto un "affittacamere" in uso agli ospiti. Disponibilità colazione non fattibile per restrizioni COVID, ma con molti locali a pochi metri non era un problema. Stranezza per l'aria condizionata, disponibile a richiesta, con un extra costo giornaliero di 10 euro.
• Harry (2/5): Avoid this place like the PLAGUE! - Worse experience ever. Avoid this place at all costs. They are a total scam. I was told we could drop our bags before check in. Then we are told it's a €10 fee. They left our bags in the "lobby". We were told the credit card machine was broken. They just wanted to steal our cash, which they did. €180 for 2 nights. We paid cash and left with the keys. She told us our room (7) was in the hallway outside of the "lobby" but didn't show us. When we returned to the room (7) was not labeled and since the host only gestured to the hallway we tried to open 2 separate rooms. We couldn't actually open our room because I was trying to unlock it but THEY NEVER LOCKED OUR ROOM WITH OUR LUGGAGE INSIDE. I could not lock the door from the inside and I sent an email to the staff right away. They did not come to sort the situation out so I was forced to book another room as I was not leaving our luggage unattended for another whole day. When I came to the hotel the next day I was told that they never lock the doors when they put luggage in rooms, bare in mind our room is not inside the hotel but a room in the hallway of a building with much traffic. The staff could not lock or unlock the door to room 7 with my key and they accused me of switching the keys and told me I needed to take responsibility for what happened. Her room, her key, her hotel. She refused to refund me any of my money and told me I needed to call, not email. What a joke. Rude people. Stay somewhere else.

• Maria Carmela (4/5): Sconsigliatissimo - Stanza puzzolente di umidità. La prenotazione era per golden Wiew e invece alla fine non si sa per quale giro di web siamo stati assegnati a promenade. La signora all’ingresso molto gentile ma certo non poteva cambiare lo squallore di una stanza con un bagno cieco obsoleto. Nella prenotazione era specificato il set di cortesia da bagno e la biancheria, ebbene si trattava di 3 bustine bagno shampoo e tre teli ch’esso lo su mia richiesta sono stati cambiati ma non è mai stato pulito il bagno. Per quanto vi sia la vicinanza a ponte vecchio è stato come dormire in una bettola. Mai più, anche il sito di hotels dovrebbe verificare la trasparenza delle info.
• francisco (8/5): Excelente ubicación - La primera impresión no es buena pues no existe una recepción, es necesario tocar un timbre para accesar a un tercer piso y tocar una puerta que tiene el nombre, el gerente Renato es muy atento y las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas, lo mejor es la ubicación y la atención de Renato.
• Philipp (8/5): Hotel bang in the center of Florence - Very good location that justifies a lot & is hard to beat: best logistically possible position right next to the Ponte Vecchio. Main drawbacks: 1. Serious noise (can cause problems with sleep), i.d., lack of sound insulation in rooms 2. Shower cabins in the rooms are small and, in my view, somewhat unsafe - be careful, little space inside and rather sharp 'angular' natural protrusions to bump your head on, or step on or, God forbid, fall over on. Felt myself very uncomfortable in the shower - in the sense of SAFETY. All the rest is good, view is very good.

Al momento de pagar NO FUNCIONABA EL POSNET, asī que tuvimos que hacerlo en efectivo. Cuando entramos a la habitación hacía mucho calor y para usar el aire acondicionado NOS COBRARON 10 euros mas. Cuando todavía estabamos en la habitación preparåndonos para retirarnos, a las 9:30 hs. Nos vinieron a golpear la puerta para que nos fuėramos. En internet el chekin figura a las 10. Nos sentimos estafados porque la info que figura en la web es falsa.
• cathy (2/5): fuyerrrr!!! - Tres decu de cet hotel jai eu d pb de neige sur ma route ki mon fait arriver 20min en retard et auquune indulgence de la part de la reception qui mont fai payer 25e de taxe! Ensuite leau etai a peine chaude, absolument rien pour se laver apart un echantillon miniature avec lequel on devai se faire le shampoing et le gel douche.....une vue sur le lac??? Je navai aucune vu apart celui des batiment! Mm pas un cafe ofert pas de petit dejeuner absolument rien! Alors que jai payer 200euro! Moi ki etai sencer payer 158e!!!!! La nuit est bruyante impossible de dormir a cause du bruit des voiture! Une seul serviette fourni! Pas de seche cheveux cette chambre ne valai pas plus de 20e! Pour le pret des lit! Tres tres decu! Je ne le conseille a personne
• Roberta (8/5): - Un po' scomodo il check-in (alle 14:00 e pagando in contanti la camera nonostante la prenotazione via internet con carta di credito!). Stanza pulita con letto matrimoniale ottimo; il letto singolo invece era basso e sembrava una branda!). Il bagno ok anche se non c'è il bidet a cui si rimedia con un doccino. La stanza è in posizione strategica x visitare città ed Uffizi a solo 100m da Ponte Vecchio! Rumori ambientali dall'esterno già alle 6 del mattino.
• Clementina (6/5): tutto sommato, buono - Bella la posizione,affaccio sull'Arno, buona l'accolglienza. Qualche difetto: terzo letto, per adulto, tipo branda,bassa, infilata tra muro e letto matrimoniale, praticamente attaccata. Lo scarico de WC che gocciolava. La chiave per uscire dalla porta comune era difettosa, tanto che all'ora di cena, abbiamo dovuto trafficare parecchio (mezz'ora) per trovare una soluzione... nessuno poteva aprirci e noi eravamo chiusi dentro.La signora, chiamata al telefono non era nelle vicinanze,e oltretutto si trovava in giro col treno e a piedi, quindi ci avrebbe messo un po' a raggiungerci.Per fortuna dopo tanti tentativi,da soli, abbiamo trovato delle altre chiavi all'interno della struttura e finalmente abbiamo risolto il problema

• Jane (10/5): Very Convenient Location in Firenze (Florence) - First, I was surprised at the location...a small street and located on the 3rd floor of a building of apartments and businesses. There was a lift(elevator), thank goodness. Once up there,the graciousness and helpfulness of Ryanna warmed my heart. My room was very nice, although the view was of the building across the small street...there are some rooms with a view of the River Arno, I think only 7 rooms in total. Also, there were different levels in the room, coming in and to the bathroom, of which to be aware. Although this small hotel is off the main road.it is only a block and a half walk to the Arno River, where the Uffizi Gallery is on the other side, and a view of the Ponte Vecchio which is only about 3 blocks away. The Pitti Palace was about 5 or 6 blocks away, and it was an easy walk to the attractions on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio, like the Duomo and the wild Boar statue. This hotel is a perfect location in Firenze, just don't be surprised like I was when the taxi pulls up in front of the building that looks nothing like a hotel. I definitely recommend it and would stay there again. Thank you, Ryanna, for all your kindness, help (she speaks English, too), and for recommending the TrattorioBordino, a great little restaurant about a block and a half away.
• Maria (6/5): Prisvärt och familjärt - Ett centralt beläget lägenhetshotell som var lyhört. Hon som hade hotellet var mycket trevlig och tipsade oss om en bra restaurang. Rummen var väl så där, men vi sov bara där. Så har man inga krav på lobby etc. så duger det alldeles utmärkt.
• Dan (6/5): Hard to find but great lication - Tricky to find but very close to ponte vecchio - very noisy at night. Had to pay more for parking than advised and pay to hold luggage for a couple of hours. Have to pay to use the air conditioning in the room
• Mads (8/5): Fantastisk placering. Dyr parkering, dyr aircon. - Fantastisk placering. Vi havde valgt dette, da der stod gratis parkering, hvilket der bestemt ikke var. Der var en ret dyr parkering, men hotellet lå perfekt lige ved Ponte Veccio. Supersød værtinde, meget hjælpesom. Dyrt at få lov til at bruge aircon, hvilket var nødvendigt. Placeringen og venligheden gjorde det hele pengene værd. Vil klart bruge igen.
• Verified traveler (6/5): read carefully whats inkluded - you have to pay for the AC, and the parking. its very central. cant get much better than that if you think of location. but the AC should have been inkluded. But the woman who works there is very friendly and helpful.
• john (10/5): A real find in Firenza. - Fun, funky neighborhood, but right off the Ponte Vecchio! On a minor side street barely in sight of the Arno, I found parking directly in front. There is a lift. The hostess is very helpful, even suggesting a terrific restaurant only about 60 meters from her door.
• Paulo (2/5): The information is false extra fee - The parking was 35 euros and the a/c 10 euros extra, is call a b&b but there isnt breakfast too noisy and the staff is rude.
• Terrible (4/5): truly not as represented. - I have very few things positive to say. Over the course of my 14 days in Italy, this accommodation was the only disappointment. Check in times and check out times and bed size were misrepresented as was amenities. There is no staff except a person who shows up when it suits them. It is not a hotel room but a room rental that is not worth the money you pay. There is absolutely no flexibility and I was glad that I only had the room for one day. I would say more but it will only be more negative and if you don't get the picture by now then good luck.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Zentral gelegen - Das Zimmer war schön und die Lage ist auch perfekt. Parkplatz steht zwar in der Beschreibung, kostet aber € 35 pro Tag.extra. Kreditkartenterminal ist leider "defekt"- wer hat heut zu tage immer so viel Bargeld mit? Bezüglich des Kostenpflichtigen Frühstücks wurden wir gar nicht gefragt.

• Tore (4/5): Manglende resepsjon og rådyr parkering - Vi fikk en telefon får hotellet kl 1830 der de sier vi må sjekke inn før 1900. Heldigvis var vi tett ved. Kan ikke anbefale et hotel som ikke har resepsjon betjent etter kl.1900!
• Sibylle (6/5): Great situation - The Promenade is situated in a residential building on the 3rd floor, it's a large apartment that has been adapted to offer various guest rooms with bathrooms. The room was nice, rather small, but all right. There was no-one there when we arrived, but we called the number on our reservation and someone came within minutes. What was a bit odd was that you have to pay extra to be able to use the A/C, which I didn't know, and only realized when I couldn't find the remote control.It's very noisy, being so central, so it's not ideal to sleep with open windows.Another thing which is rather silly, is that you get one towel per person, that's it. NO hand towel, we had to pay 2 € to get one!But apart from that, we were satisfied with our choice.
• Dave (6/5): Get central location - Initial reception not good, had to move room during stay, but was an improvement. The location is superb, but the advertising photo is deceptive. The river view is only from some rooms but that is to be expected. The property is on a corner a road back from the river with a very limited view. But don't be put off, the location is brilliant, with the owner making up for the poor reception
• Verified traveler (6/5): Location only - My husband and I spent one night in Florence before heading on a road trip through Tuscany. We searched for hotels with Free Parking - Hotels.com claimed this hotel had free parking when it did not. There is a garage around the corner with a "special" - $25 for over night parking. Pros: Location. You are a 5 min walk into the heart of Florence. Cons: Everything is extra. They charge you additional for Air Conditioning (also not mentioned in the description). There are no soap/shower products as claimed, only one small packet of shampoo. It is very noisy - we had to have the window open and there is a lot of street noise. The hotel is very hard to find - it is around the corner in a very small street with just a placard on the door. It is more of an apartment building than a hotel. Overall, the stay was fine. The room was clean and aside from no AC in the 80 degree weather, comfortable. Consider this hotel for location only.
• Marisa (8/5): Good Choice - The room we had was smaller than expected and we are a very tall couple so it felt cramped but Riana's attention and tips were so personal and great that it made up for everything!!! We were so near to Ponte Vechio and without paying high crazy fees!!!

• joe (2/5): hotel given us rooms in a different hotel - Booked Promenade hotel on the river side. But the owner give us a room in a different hotel where we have to walk 10 mins to it. I found this hotel owner very dishonest.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel, Perfect Location and Friendly Staff - Stayed at the Promenade for 4 nights for a short break with partner. Its a small hotel with everything you need. The room was clean, with a beautiful view over the river. The lady who helped us during our stay was lovely. The only thing was that the hotel could be quite noisy at times, which is not the fault of the hotel but just the surrounding area, I think if you stay in any of the more popular parts of Florence you will get the same thing. It was walking distance from all the major sights in Florence.

Location of hotel is dissieving - although in close proximity to centre of Florence - not very comfortable and too many stairs to climb w luggage !
• Lindzie (4/5): It was ok - We got to the "hotel" and it was a little frustrating. There was no clear sign as to where it was located. It's on the third floor of a random building that has other businesses and possibly other people living there. The front door was open and saw Promenade was on the third floor. we walked to the third floor and the doors were locked. We buzzed the buzzer for about ten minutes until we decided to leave to try to contact the management. After an hour, we were able to contact the person who said they were there but didn't hear the buzzer. So I told them we would be there in 5 minutes and to answer the door. They told us that we had to use the buzzer on the outside for them to hear it and would then meet us at the door. We did that, but no one answered the phone. We FINALLY had someone answer the door only to find out that we hadn't paid for the room. They told us that booking on Travelocity only holds the reservation, which they didn't have that information either. We had to pay extra if we wanted A/C and the bed they claim is a King size bed is really a Queen size. There was a street right outside, and of course it was trash pickup. To say we got any sleep what so ever would be an understatement. The room definitely wasn't as decorated as it is in pictures. Our view was of a back dark alley. Check out was leaving the key on the front desk because no one was there and sending an email saying we left the key. No foor or breakfast was served that we knew about either.
• Jonathon (8/5): Basic room in good location - The room was very plain and basic with a very small bathroom. The only amenity was free wifi. Quality aside, the hotel is in a great location - close to many sites and fairly quiet. Be prepared for a very small elevator or three flights of stairs. Ryana, the proprietor, was very nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome in florence.

• Norwegian couple (6/5): Nice location, just 100 m. from Ponte Vecchio - Hotel is nicely situated and all main tourist attractions are in walking distance. Parking just next door (25€/24hrs) was very practical. Hotel does not serve breakfast but one can buy breakfast for 3€ (coupon for cafe across the street which serves a hot dring + sweet pastry for that). Hotel is quite old, but clean and ok standard and situated in an appartment building.
• Dempsey (8/5): Great Location, service ok - The location of this hotel could not be better, just across the Ponte Vecchio bridge. On the other hand is a boutique hotel and the service was K, I will give 3 out of 5.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Kova melu, myös öisin vaikka ikkunat olivat kiinni - Jääkaappi on mutta se on huoneistojen omistajan huoneessa lukkojen takana. Eli sitä ei voi käyttää milloin haluaa. Ilmastointi vain erillisestä maksusta. Talo vilkkaan tien varrella, melu on kova päivin öin.
• Laila (4/5): - We booked this hotel because it had aircondition and internet. Then we found out that the aircondition cost 10 euro a day extra. And the internet was not working either. This is a clean hotel with ok beds and good location. But it is very small and not very private.. Dont pay for breakfast. It is only one cup of coffee and a small croissant, its better to buy breakfast elsewhere! We asked for more towels and get the answer that they use to have more towels but not now..

• Verified traveler (8/5): God beliggenhed - Dejligt lille hotel, med en serviceminded ejer der anbefalede en rigtig god restaurant i nærheden, bedste t-bone steak nogensinde. Mulighed for Parkering i ejendommen der er relativ dyr 32 eu pr.døgn. Men ingen andre alternativer. Dejligt sted vi gerne vil besøge igen.
• Ash and Helen (8/5): Superb location next to Ponte Vecchio, but noisy - Great location and very helpful manager, providing lots of good tips. We were staying as a family in quadruple room, so it was convenient if a little cramped. However, it is really noisy until very late. Extra charges for holding luggage and for air conditioning.

• Kjetil M (10/5): Promenade comes with warm recommandations! - Extremely kind and service-minded personel. Ryana (manager) is a dust fanatic so the rooms are cleaned properly. The location is ideal as it is placed just opposite the river with a 1min walking distance to the old bridge and from there right into the heart of the city. Promenade does not serve breakfast, but for those familiar with Italian breakfasts I reckon will prefer to buy theirs in the local shop and go picnicking instead. All over, a perfect place to stay while visiting the beautiful town of Florence. Have a nice trip!
• Gabriel (10/5): Emplacement idéal. - Pas vraiment un hôtel mais plutôt des chambres d'hôtes. Les chambres sont situées au 3ème étage. d' un immeuble situé tout prêt du ponte vecchio.accueil agréable et en français de la propriétaire. À noter un parking en sous sol ,payant mais fortement conseillé (circulation en centre historique règlementée)
