Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had this apartment as a change from hotels in the middl3leg of our trip around Italy. The apartment was stylish and comfortable with a full kitchen, sofa, dining table. We made ourselves comfortable, did our laundry and ate in a few times, supermarket and icecream shop are literally 2 minutes away. Great location to walk to all the attractions.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is in an excellent location as in it is located in an extremely central location. Close to all the great sites. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large. However not suitable for an elderly person as there is a big step out of the shower/bath. The biggest issue was the air conditioning unit - it was very noisy and not that effective. We had the windows open but had to close them due to the drain smell and mosquitos. But really it was about a 7.5/10 overall.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect stay near the Coliseum - Loved the building, it is close to the Coliseum and other attractions in Rome.
It is very convenient and confortable. We would definitely recommend staying here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is excellent but THE INTERNET WAS TERRIBLE.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Stay - Was a unique place, very clean, good service, great location - 10 minutes walking from the train and close to sights.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great, central location. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Kelly (10/5): - The location is perfect and close to the main attractions. We felt very safe. Since we were renting an apartment with kitchen it would have been nice to have a few simple spices to cook with as we planned on eating in a couple times.
- Cecelia (10/5): Location, Location, Location - The location is out of this world wonderful. The hotel staff was good. The room was large and comfortable. The only downside was it was on the second floor with no elevator.
- Julie (8/5): Location, location, location - Our stay here was all about location and it can't be beat. Just steps to the Duomo and all the history of Florence. If you are going for the room this is not your place. But if you want a great place to stay while you explore the beauty of Florence this place is perfect.
- Gennaro (10/5): - Great location and walking distance to Santa Maria Novella train station. Would definitely rent it again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - great location
- Janis (8/5): - The location of this property was perfect! The bathroom had some wood rot by the shower and you had to step up pretty high to get into it. This would be difficult for someone with bad knees. But everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to control the heat and air for our room.
- Ene (10/5): - Spacious room that included a mini bar fridge a dining table, and a huge bathroom. Everything was nice and clean, but the best part is that is right in the middle of the turist atttactions of the area. No complains at all and for sure I would use them again
- Juan Manuel (10/5): Very clean, centric and quiet. Nice experience - We went to the address indicated in the booking. That was an office which explained everything as per booking and informed us the apartment was areound 200 meters from the office.
We were pointed there and a person came to show us the flat. The conditions on the flat were very clean. The flat was very quiet.
There are some local supermarkets in walking distance and plenty of restaurants and museums nearby.
The last day we could leave the baggage on the offices and we could enjoy a little bit more the town before departure.
- David (6/5): - The location is excellent! Location is unbeatable. As we love being in the center / heart of beautiful Florence. There is an organic store named Eataly just opposite of the hotel. We had our breakfast and coffee there. It’s convenient. Our room was clean and spacious even the hotel is a very old building. It is a basically simple hotel. The staff are wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed staying in this hotel.
- Jeanne (8/5): - Good location close to main tourist areas. We hadn't realized that the apartment we rented was not at the same location as the main hotel where our friends had booked.
- Rebecca (10/5): - This apartment is conveniently is located right on the Arno River near the Ponte Vecchio. The view is amazing. There is a large bedroom, two bathrooms and living space with a full kitchen and table. The building is secure with a keyed entrance located at the back of the apartment building. The only trouble is finding it the first time. The check in process was easy. We called and someone met us within 10 minutes. The bed was very comfortable and there was air conditioning - a plus since it got a bit hot even in October. We were there for 4 nights and the service came and freshened up our linens and towels after the second night. This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Florence. The only downside is that the back alley had a small restaurant and it was a bit noisy with the talking and moving of furniture so if you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs just in case. Overall this apartment is a great value with a perfect location.
- Jennifer (10/5): Excellent accomodation - We loved the apartment, with its spaciousness and high location (we could look across rooftops). All was clean and organised -- no complaints. Ricardo met us at 11 Moro and explained everything and gave us a map. There is an elevator part way up (which helps). (we are older travellers). I would highly recommend this property.
- Laura (8/5): - Good for a short stay. Excellent location in the middle of it all. Depending on the days you are there, you are pretty much on your own. We stayed the weekend, and didnt see anyone at the front desk until Monday. Room was clean with no frills. Bathroom was small but sufficient. Would recommend for a short stay.
- Leonardo (10/5): - Very good location! Near the Duomo and everything
Parking not included ( plus 26 e per knight)
Good service
- Penny (10/5): - This is a beautiful apartment, perfect, tasteful couldn’t ask for anything more. Just know that when you book and it says “the annex” this is a totally different building a distance away. However it is just beside the river and maybe 10minutes to the Duomo.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fast in Florence - This was a wonderful little apartment that is right in the heart of everything. We were able to see all of Florence in a day from this wonderful little spot.
- Annette (8/5): Nice location in central Florence - I stayed 3 nights in an apartment owned by Tourist House Ricci together with 2 friends. The apartment was 5 minutes walk from the hotel but the location was still great and in walking distance to all the main attractions in Florence. The apartment was also nice but we were 3 friends and our booking confirmation said 2 single beds and a double bed, whereas we ended up with a double bed and a sofa bed - so not quite what we expected and also not great since non of us where a couple. I personally slept on the sofa bed, which was OK but not great particular when you have got a bad back - so would have been nice if the apartment have lived up to what we actually booked. The reception staff was nice but please be aware that the reception has limited opening hours. I was flying into Florence on an evening flight - so I was lucky my other friends could be there early otherwise I wouldn't have been able to check in. The last point was that there was no cleaning service during our stay. Would have been nice if things were refreshed a bit on a daily basis. Otherwise OK but yes didn't quite live up to our expectations.
- Maria (10/5): - Two days here. Location couldnt be better!!! Rooms are spacious and clean
- Lisa (10/5): Highly recommend - Very close to central Venice, loved it.
- Christina (10/5): - Great accommodation, comfortable bed. Walking distance to major sights. Our room had a little kitchenette. Best hair dryer I’ve had in a hotel room!
- Quyen (8/5): - Excellent location. Walkable to everywhere. Very convenient.
- Sunita (8/5): - Our stay was comfortable, walking distance from everything, almost on the doorstep of Duomo. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable! I will recommend it any day! Only complaint is a lot of steps to reception and possibly to your room if lift does not work. Especially with baggage. The staff was very helpful and friendly!
- Lisa (6/5): - Check in was closed at 6:30 pm. We arrived around 9:00 pm. They charged us additional 50 euro for late check in.
- Lorraine (10/5): Family Break - We had a brilliant time in Florence, the proprietors was really friendly and helpful. He walked us to our apartment in the Republic square. The location was amazing, convenient to absolutely everything. The apartment was really big and everyone had plenty of space. I would recommend this to anyone.
- Ken/Carmen (10/5): - Great Location. Easy walking and close transportation to all sights and shopping. Loved it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Large apartment in the heart of Florence - We loved our stay in the 3 bedroom apartment - Ricci House. It was spacious, well decorated, private and clean. The host was very accomodating. The 3 bedroom apartment was also well positioned to the heart of Florence including Duomo, Statue of David, Leather markets, restaurants and train station.
- Fernando (10/5): - Check in is until 6:30 pm, so I was told that if I was going to arrive later I would have to pay 30€ extra. I sent a message complaining about this as there's no information about extra charges for late check in. I arrived at 7:30 pm and did the check in with no problem. They didn't charge me for that. This company manages other properties in Florence Downtown, so I got assigned a nice apartment, suitable for my crew (4 people), very well located. We stayed for two nights and had a good experience with this booking.
- Gianna (10/5): Great location - Great location! Loved staying at this place and would definitely stay again in the future!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, nice, but older. Some stairs. Good value.
- Randall (8/5): - The location was fantastic and the room was great. Luggage storage worked well for us.
- Carl (8/5): Good size room and location - The check in was speedy and the room itself was a good size (be aware check in times are limited). The location was good and the bed was comfortable. There was air conditioning but it wasn’t particularly effective (but better than nothing).
The WiFi worked well.
- Chris (8/5): - Great location, roomy apartment, very clean. It was great for my family to take quick breaks throughout the day.
- lance (8/5): This is not a hotel - Really excellent for our stay but it is not an hotel it is accommodation
There are no staff there, it is a room with tea making facilities and a fridge.
As said before ideal for us near the centre and so cafes were in easy reach at all times of the day
- Richard (8/5): - It's just in the center for everything!! Perfect location
- Antonia (10/5): - Location, location, location. Our apartment was right next the the Baptistery! We had a 2 bedroom apartment (1 room with a queen size bed and 1 room with a queen and a twin bed), with a nice kitchen, comfortable living room, dining table and large bathroom with a washing machine! The bedrooms had air conditioners and if we left the doors open it cooled the rest of the apartment as well. We loved this place! It felt like home every day after walking miles in the heat. Highly recommend!
- oscar (8/5): Nice hotel with great location - Nice staff, they helped us a lot with our late checkout. The room needs some updates. The location is fantastic.
- Marie (8/5): Waking distance to main Florence - The hotel was convenient to many shops, restaurants, and most important the main square of Florence. We would choose it again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t waste your money - This hotel is in a great location but that is where it stops. Our room had a list of issues including; broken flor tiles (that nearly cut my foot), bugs or fleas in the shower, shower with little hot water then no water at all, and worst of all, the room smelt like sewage or mould. It was that unbearable that we wanted to complain and change rooms or leave with a refund but there was no staff on shift to assist so we stayed. The next morning we both woke with extremely sore throats and now have bad head colds due to breathing in whatever was growing or had possibly died in the room. When we mentioned the smell to the manager in the morning he seemed not surprised but also not apologetic.
- Jamie (8/5): - This is an apartment.... not hotel or B&B.... didn’t realize that the elevator didn’t go to the top floor.... of course our room was on the top floor... we were told “just 15 Steps”.... um no... try 3 flights of steps! Good location but VERY narrow street out front... made arriving and departing tricky to deal with luggage since there aren’t sidewalks and it’s a fairly busy street.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to lots of activities - Decent sized apartment. Close to all museums. Hot water is flaky. Decent for the price. No customer service at all.
- santa (10/5): - Very white and clean .tha apartment is closed to the center of the city . There is a restaurant across the street with good quality of food .
- Anne (4/5): Good lication, but old and noisy rooms - Pros: Location is top, 30 sec from the duomo and staff is nice and friendly semi speaking english.
Cons: We come back at 11:30 pm and the neighboor in the other room was making a party. The staff leave at 18:30 and everybody do what they want after that (keep in mind you can only do check in before 6:30 pm). Room was old and bath was in the wooden closet in the room but it was clean.
- Dave (10/5): Balcony view to the bell tower - Check in staff were very friendly and expedient. It was a short walk across the square to the room. Plenty of space and easy to get to places in Florence. Very accommodating for early drop off of luggage during checkout
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location of this hotel cannot be beat. We stayed in the Annex building, but I think the location of both is pretty equally great. I cannot speak to the state of the main building, as I only saw it for a few moments at checkin. The annex building is self-service, but comfortable. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and had nice furnishings. The building was a bit noisy during the day due to construction next door, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. The lift is handy for moving bags, but not for normal coming and going - be prepared to use the steps.
Checkin at the apartment was easy and our host showed us everything we needed to know and suggested restaurants and nearby areas that we enjoyed a lot. Checkin at the office later (where you have to pay for taxes, etc, was not as easy, but didn't take up too much time. It feels more like you are hanging out in someone's office than a hotel lobby, but I guess that's what it is.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic modern suite in an old building - The suite is very spacious, even the washroom is of decent size. It comes with a very pretty well equipped kitchen for cooking and microwaving. There is an elevator in the building so you save the hassle of carrying your luggages up the stairs but it is not wheelchair friendly. It is within walking distance to a lot of attractions and eateries, which the hotel staff gave good recommendations.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - awesome location. a bit old and run down. very roomy. have to pay for coffee pods
- Kay (8/5): Great location and comfortable for a short stay - We actually had two back to back reservations since the number in our party changed when 2 of the 3 of us decided to stay another day. So this is about our last night This room was much much better. Air conditioning worked well!! Room 102 Beds seemed more comfortable. Location is great. Be aware although it says elevator it’s only for the floors above reception and the 2 flights of stairs are a bit steep and uneven so it’s not easy lugging them up or down.
- Nancy (6/5): Great location but old and worn out apartment! - The reception for Tourist House Ricci was on Via dei Martelli, while our apartment was located on Piazza della repubblica. It was tiring having to drag our luggages from the train station to Via dei Martelli, and then all the way to our apartment. The apartment was old and worn out, the door had a hole, which they just stuffed it with tissue paper. As it was a hotel, I was surprised to find a huge cockcroach crawling in the bathroom one night, and informed the reception. They arranged for a cleaner to come in the next day to spray an insecticide. When we returned from our outing, we found the dead cockroach on the floor. We were not pleased at all with the whole experience. As our apartment was just above a restaurant, there was a lot of noise that went on till late at night. That said, the location was undeniably the best! It was near all the tourist attractions, Duomo, Uffizi, Galleria Academia were all within walking distance. Given the condition of the apartment we were staying in, we would not recommend it for family.
- Emma (10/5): - Greeted by lovely staff. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival but they were happy to store our bags.
The location is fantastic!
Would 100% recommend if you are visiting Florence.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - perfect location
- Xiomara (10/5): - It was awesome
- T (10/5): - Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Great place to stay when visiting Florence.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A perfect location close to the train staion, and just steps to the Duomo. Everything in the room is functional, and the staff helpful and polite.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There are not staff available after 6:30 pm, also there were mosquitoes in the apartment. At the office there is not elevator, therefore we have to carried the luggage upstairs. The apartment is in a different location that the one given in the website, overthought is close to the office.
- Lawrence (10/5): Amazing place; close to everything! - Little superficial things (tape holding a cupboard together, having drain covers so the room doesn’t smell like sewers). We bought a candle and that overrode the smell. NOW: this place is absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It is easily within walking distance to everything (which takes on added weight when you consider that I am an amputee!). Most GPS systems (Google maps, Waze, etc.) try to get you to drive down 1-way roads to get to the hotel (we actually stayed in one of their apartments which housed 4 of us very comfortably) so make sure, if you’re driving, to get precise directions! We stayed in the Piazza della Repubblica (1/2 block friend the Duomo and ? 10 blocks to the Uffici). Even crossed the Ponte Vecchio to Pitti Palace and back to the apartment with an easy stroll.
- Joshua (10/5): Good location - Good hotel. Right across from Duomo.
- Tasia (6/5): Pino was the best part of the stay - Pino was a joy: helpful and considerate a fine person
- Serene (10/5): Great location - Extremely amazing location. The room serves what as a lodging space (don't expect luxury) there is no fridge and kettle but if you ask they will provide you with a kettle. Clean and comfortable. The only thing I would complain about is the person checking us in didn't tell us our shower temperature dial works the away around so hot is cold and cold is hot. I showered thinking there just isn't hot water for the first day.
- Claudia (8/5): Great location - This hotel is steps away from the Duomo in Florence and right in the middle of tons of shopping. The location is great, it took us maybe 10 minutes to walk from there to the train station. The room is comfortable, spacious, clean and the private bathroom has all the basic necessities. I do wish the beds had been a bit comfier, but really I have no other complaints. The staff was great and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early and after we checked out. I would definitely recommend and/or stay here again.
- Marilu (6/5): Horrible Neighbor downstairs beware! - We stayed at their #8 Via Guelfa apartment. Great location with the Duomo and accademia gallery near by. Convenient with McD's at the corner and several restaurants to choose from. Safe neighborhood to stroll in the evening. It was spacious for my family of 4 adults. Bed was clean and comfortable. Towels were clean. Shower had strong flow with running hot water. What I didn't like is their clothes dryer didn't work, the washing machine didn't work well. It didn't spin strong enough to wring out the water from your clothes. Whenever the water heater needed to heat the water for the apartment. It made this loud ringing sound to heat the water. But the ultimate reason why I would not return here is the A-hole neighbor downstairs. We had an early morning tour schedule. Which we had to be there by 7:45am. The first tour we got up and was getting ready when we heard a banging on our door. It was the neighbor downstairs informing us that we woke him up! We apologized and tried to get ready quieter. On our second early morning tour, we got up early again to meet our deadline for our tour. The neighbor bang on our door again and said we woke him up again. We apologized. However, this time he threatened to call the police. Of which this time my husband had enough! He told the neighbor to go ahead! Which the neighbor didn't. He was all talk. Needless to say, the neighbor downstairs was a big A-Hole and made our stay in Florence not so pleasant in the tourist House Ricci.
- Greg and Debbie (10/5): A fabulous place - This was our second stay in Tourist House Ricci in four years. All the things we loved about our last stay were true this time as well. The staff and Owner Stephano are warm , friendly and extremely helpful. Two of the three staff speak English very well. Check in was quick and our room had the wonderful style with wooden beams and tile floors we sought to find in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathrooms and room was cleaned every day and the shower was large and water flow large. The house is steps from the Duomo which let us be out and about when the majority of the tours have gone home. We ate at fabulous restaurants recommended by Stephano, hint make reservations. We had a flight to Frankfurt cancelled due to a strike. Stephano and his staff spent over an hour rebooking our flight which was a huge help because of his knowledge. He then booked a hotel across the street for us because they did not have a room for us. We were so impressed and thankful for all their help during that stress. We love this place to stay because of the ambience of walking into the hotel from the street and the rooms. Stephano and his staff are why we feel the Italian people are so warm and friendly. They are so informative, professional and know how to make their visitors fell welcome. Our stay with them made Florence one of the best stops of our three week trip! On our next time in Florence we will book here again. Thank you!
- Nidhi (8/5): Nice hotel close to Duomo amd street shopping - Good hotel for a short stay - roughly 12minse walk from Florence SMN station. The room had mini kitchen as well. Front desk staff leaves late evening so its good to have all room requirements or questions sorted before they leave. Room was decent sized with huge bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. I would stay again if I get chance to be in Florence again!
- Tyler (10/5): LOCATION - Incredible location. Couldn’t be closer to the action of the Duomo. We had a sweet little balcony and two bathrooms (one shower). They even accommodated us with a pack and play for our baby to sleep in.
- Ahmad (6/5): Good location - Location of the hotel is very good. There was no lift and breakfast. Bath water did not have enough pressure and some times it was cold. Any how the hotel condidering it's price and especially it's location is good and acceptable.
- Catherine (10/5): - Will love to suggest full body mirror and wife in all bedrooms
- Enrique (10/5): NIce apartment in the middle of Florence - Nice two bedroom apartment with 2 bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room. easy to check in and check out. let us check in 1 hr early. WIFI modem only for us. Staff very helpful and friendly.
- ALEKSANRA (8/5): Good choice to stay in Florence - Few steps from Duomo.Clean room, but there wasn't enough hot water in bathroom for two person.
- Charlotte (10/5): Great apartment in great location - Reception staff were really helpful and friendly- we followed all their restaurant recommendations which were ace! Location wise it was brilliant and the added bonus of a lift in our block to get to out second floor one bedrooms apartment was well received. The place was clean and comfortable, albeit basic, but you can’t really ask for more at such a great price. We enjoyed a wonderful week in February and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing city break
- samuel (6/5): average quality, good price. - very small room. bathroom tiny. needs updated. helpful staff, but unavailable after 18.30. best thing is the location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay! - We stayed in one of their apartments, we had a great time. It was very nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We could walk to all the places we wanted to see. Very convenient to have a kitchen too. Would definitely stay here again!
- julie (10/5): FANTASTIC!! - Everything about this apartment and it's location, was absolutely faultless. We would definitely return if we visit Florence again.
- Roland (10/5): Nice apt. in center - Nice, beautiful and grand experience , like and love Florence !.....................................................
- Debra (10/5): What a great place and awesome service. - Excellent service. Great location. Very clean. Would stay here again.
- Mimi (10/5): - Awesome hotel, very nice place and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Apartment was clean, spacious, beds comfortable, location was excellent and services at check-in was quick and efficient. Definitely recommended.
- James (8/5): Great base to visit Rome - Great location, nice room although needs more sound proofing. Host was superb
- Kan (6/5): Good location close to town centre - Good location close to town centre and quiet, but would be better if shower area bigger and more hot water, no shower gel and shampoo, and may be a decent kettle can really boil some water.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Luxury apartment - With three bedrooms, three enormous sitting areas, a full kitchen and 2.5 baths, this was like a luxurious mansion for our family. We entertained friends in this beautiful ambiance. Paul was very helpful in showing us around the apartment and helping us get settled.
- Eliane (10/5): Loved my stay at Florence - Friendly staff
Very good location, close to major attractions
Duomo, ponte vecchio... restaurants
Very nice appartment well decorated and spacious.
- Patricia (10/5): Good experience - We spend one night in Florence at Hotel House Ricci and it was a very nice experience. The apartment where we stayed was about 10 minutes from the main office where you do your check in, but the staff was very nice and they paid for a taxi to move us and our luggage from the reception office to the apartment.
The apartment was a loft style, with a beautiful and modern decoration, and very comfortable in general. The location was good, about 10 minutes’ walk from the Florence Cathedral and all the main places to see in Florence.
In general was a very nice stayed at Hotel House Ricci.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Would stay here again - Check in was easy and quick. The location was walking distance to all the major sights. Our apartment was close to everything, but there was not a lot of foot traffic or noise to disturb your stay. The apartment itself was clean and furnished with new appliances.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Apartment was very nice and roomy with good AC. Staff was very helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay at condo location 2 blocks away - We booked the 3 bedroom condo which is about 2 blocks away. Hands down amazing! This 3000 square foot accommodation is fantastic! Super clean, spacious and 2 minutes from all sites to visit!
- Siu yu (8/5): Fabulous service apartment for family - A nice apartment with clean and spacious rooms. Convenient location with easy access to the major attractions. The only drawback is a bit noisy in the night.
- renee (10/5): Perfect! - This location was amazing! We were in the center of Florence super close to the Duomo! We could walk to everything. It was clean and nicely furnished. The hotel was also kind to move our luggage to the office for us so that we could have an extra full day to see all the sights!!! When I come back to Florence, I will stay here again!!!
- Meena (8/5): Florance is lovely - Service was welcoming location is great the room need renewal A/C and bed
- meir (8/5): Overall good, problematic a.c, misleading location - Overall our stay was good. The apartment was amazing. 2 things weren't good, the a.c didn't work, it was very hot! The second thing was the location, it was good and close to the doumo but it wasn't as advertised, the adress published in hotels.com is the office adress and not the apartment, it was harder to find and misleading. The service was excellent, we has a good time.
- Joan (10/5): Great location!! - Great location, very close to the main attractions e.g. Duomo and Medicee Chapel. Large apartment.
- Joe (10/5): Excellent hotel close to the Doumo. - Excellent staff. Helped with my delayed luggage and was a major contributor to the recovery of my lost iPhone.
- nurit (10/5): enjoyed very much - Location close to station termini -walking distance, main street 2 min walk. clean, comfortable, friendly. was not able to connect to wifi. lovely place !!! Breakfast served in bedroom ... v/good.
- Hoai-Phuong (10/5): Charming little apartment near the Uffuzi - We thought our room was at the hotel featured on the site, IT happened that it was located in a different building about 10 minutes walk, very close to the Uffizi and Papazzo Vecchio. It's a nice building tucked in a quiet corner which we loved. It's an old but renovated building, the lift was very small for two people with 2 suitcases and a little finicky. Our room was a nice surprise very spacious with 2 French windows, a little efficiency kitchen with little refrigerator microwave and 2 burners if we want to make little meal with coffee and kettle provided, and on next to last day they brought in a Nespresso machine with expresso capsules. I love the French window overlooking the neighborhood, I like to sit by the window in the morning to watch local people and their morning activities, made me feel like a local. They provided cleaning service one time while we were there for 6 nights, there was no front desk services unless you want to go to main building 10'minutes away, but we didn't mind, basically we were out the door by 7-8 every morning and didn't come back until late. The best part, you'd be in central quatre of Florence, you have the Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vechio, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Della Signoria within minutes walk. Also Palazzo Pitti about 15 minutes walk. You couldn't find a better place. We plan to come back when we retire in a few years and maybe rent the place for months. Can't say enough good thing about this place.
- Keemao (4/5): It's Not Always About Location!! - Bad water pressure, will turn to freezing cold in middle of shower with no warning. Mentioned it to staff and they were supposed to check it but I doubt they ever did. Had the same problem every day. One morning water pressure so low could not get the shower to work for several minutes until enough water was coming through. Could hear every step, laugh, voices of room above at midnight, thus making it hard to sleep. Floors are all wood so you hear everyone who comes in late and walks by your room or up the stairs. There is apparently some school attached to the rear of the building so if you want to sleep late, forget it. About 830am the kids come rolling in making a ton of noise so you have no choice but to get up. I would definitely not stay here again just because of these reasons.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable hotel in fantastic location. - We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The location of this location is amazing...can't beat it. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked very well. The only downside was the shower...it was either very cold or hot and pressure wasn't very good. Aside from that minor aspect, it's a fantastic hotel and I definetely recommend it!
- Paul (8/5): Convenient, clean and spacious apartment - The apartment was very comfortable and spacious and Florence is a beautiful city
